Great experience 1st time staying here and it was great! Breakfast was on point, many thanks to Dom and the chef Justim Defo recommend
The hotel in itself is lovely, rooms are clean and it was very accommodating for kids. I came with my family and 2 year old that had so much fun at the pool and play room. The staff are also all amazing I wish I could put all names but Dom stood out. He always checked up on us both days we stayed and we found his customer service 10/10. Would 100% return to this hotel !
Amazing friendly helpful customer service. Staff in restaurant bar very friendly and we opted for small plates sharer, good quality food and good portions. Nice breakfast, lots of choice. Clean room very large bed.
Lovely hotel and Staff ,stayed here for 1 night , I recently had a hip replacement and Tahanie on reception changed me to an accessible room which was a godsend and also arranged for a late checkout as I am a rewards member and was just a lovely helpful person. I would also like to thank the bar person and the breakfast person who again were lovely and helpful. Overall a lovely night at a great hotel and I'm already looking forward to returning in September 5 stars
Came in for breakfast with my family and the service was amazing. We were greeted by Emma on reception who was so polite and directed us to the restaurant where we were then greeted by Dominic who was so happy and friendly. Everyone who we encountered were just as nice I believe it was Dani, Matt and Syed who were working on the day. But shout out to everyone and we will definitely be back!
Excellent customer service and nice and tidy restaurant. Dominic and the team in the restaurant were absolutely fantastic.
Well-maintained hotel, cleanliness and order in rooms and common areas. Excellent breakfast and very good menu as far as restaurant service is concerned. Presence of a swimming pool and a well-stocked gym, both very clean. The real added value is the staff: very kind and always available, in perfect English style. It is a pleasure to be a guest of them.
Stayed here for three nights and could not fault it. Friendly, helpful reception staff and a nice ambience throughout the hotel. Our room was large, modern and bright; it was also spotlessly clean. The bed was huge and very comfy. We had one dinner and one breakfast during our stay and we enjoyed both - good choice of food, well presented and great taste. Also the service at dinner was excellent. The pool looked lovely but we only used the gym which was perfectly adequate for our needs. Would not hesitate to stay here again if in the area.
great experience friendly staff would recommend rooms lovely & clean food delicious great atmosphere warm welcome on arrival
Great location for Peppa Pig world. Very clean hotel with friendly and polite staff throughout the hotel who went above and beyond and really made an effort with the kids. We chose this hotel because it had the added bonus of a swimming pool and im glad we did! We will definitely be back.
Great hotel to stay for peppa pig world already booked our next stay , had a kids play room, pool and very children friendly , staff are great
It suited what I needed it for it was nice clean and I was happy to stay here it was what I needed I was working i stay in all hotels
Booked the hotel as spent the day shopping in Southampton. Hotel is 20 mins from West Quay. Positives; Staff members are so lovely and welcoming, right from reception through to breakfast!! Cookies and milk for children at night was lovely touch. Beds super comfy. Interconnecting rooms for our friends to be next door. Swimming pool area was bigger than we thought it would be. Negatives; You only have 45 min allocated swim and the swimming pool closes at 7.45pm. Would recommend staying here to anyone with families, if just adults would probably re think.
We have stayed here regularly for past 8 years… made it through their renovations! Great staff and comfortable beds! Had our meal in restaurant last night served by a lovely waitress, Louise. Chatted and it ended up costing me a fortune in buying Lego that her son had done, for my grandsons! Food wise last night… I had a starter only.. waffles with bbq pork. It was HUGE!!! It should’ve been either a sharing platter for 4…. Or on the main meal section. 3 of these dishes were sold lady night and not one finished it! Huge waste of food. But the pork was good! Macrame curry… had by hubby every visit. But this time it was covered with red chillies. Even removing them it was still too hot in places where he’d missed the chill! This type of curry doesn’t need chillies. If you want to serve them, do so in a small pot on the side. Other than that… great place to stay.
Stayed several times before and always been pleased both with the hotel (location, etc..) and the people (who on this particular stay went above and beyond). The rooms are a good size, bathroom is close to needing an update but it was spotlessly clean. Overall a great place to stay.
We stayed one night before visiting Paultons Park. Room was ok, nothing special. Food was ok, and kids eat free. Playroom is a bit neglected, toys are broken/missing parts and it’s quite boring. Cup of milk and cookie for child before bedtime it’s nice touch. Car park is good. Will probably use again if we go to Paultons Park.
Stayed while visiting Guernsey for business. Hotel overall is very nice, nice resturant/lobby area & great rooms. They lady when we checked in was a bit rude & abrupt. Every question or response was met with a very sharp answer. We also stayed during the half term so the hotel was rammed. Restaurant full so ate out one nice & ordered seconded. Food however is good but reminded me of theme park food. Cheap but tasty. Overall, a decent stay.
Stayed here for 2 weeks whilst on business in the local area. The staff were ever so helpful and friendly. Embarrasses me that I cannot remember the names of the restaurant staff but they were ever so attentive, helpful and friendly ensuring my drinks glass was never empty and my belly was full. Rooms very comfortable and quiet. Would happily stay again.
I stay in this hotel once a month for business and I am always made to feel welcome. My wife comes along to use the gym and pool and the team always look after her. Can get a bit crazy around teatime with kids, but if you plan your time you can find a peaceful slot. Lovely hotel with very polite and helpful staff.
Great hotel, brilliant facilities and perfect spot for families with younger children. Hotel had everything we needed and provided a little welcome pack for the kids along with a voucher for milk and cookies which they loved. The play room is excellent and pool was very clean
Great hotel in an accessible location. Only criticism is parking availability
An excellent stay, with very friendly staff. The leisure facilities are a little tired, but still perfectly fine for what you need. Highly recommended and I look forward to stay again.
I didn't require a handicap room. The bath was not convenient for me to use.
Helpful people at front desk!
Don’t like at all
The hotel is nice, clean and has a good breakfast On the negative side, the parking is on first come first served basis. So, if is a busy day, you have a big chance to not find space to park overnight Also, we were 3 (2 adults + 1 child) and at breakfast we asked to sit on the side on the sofa at a table of 4. We've been refused bluntly because we are ONLY 3 and offered a tablet of 3 in the middle of the restaurant where everybody was passing us back and forth. Few minutes in our breakfast and the same person who told us that the tablet is for 4 people, offered the same table to another couple with one child (like us) !!!
Good hotel, love it.
I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn! From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, professional, and incredibly helpful, making me feel right at home. The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, with all the modern amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options, and the service was excellent throughout. I also appreciated how convenient the location was—close to everything I needed yet still quiet enough for a good night’s sleep.
Good all rounder! Accommodation is looking tired but is serviceable and does the job. Staff very helpful and attentive. Service with a smile!
The hotel itself is in a good condition. The room was very comfortable and clean. Service was generally friendly and efficient. A couple of niggles though. When booking the room, I chose the Standard room with minifridge. Obviously this was a higher rate. Based on stays at other Holiday Inns offering this same option I confidently expected a stocked minibar but was very disappointed to be told we would only be supplied with a mini fridge.. with no contents. Not even mineral water. Given that other hotels in the chain provide stocked minifridges when this option is chosen, it should be made clear at the time of booking that there will be no contents in the fridge. When I arrived in the room, there was an assembled cot which we had not requested. The reception was quick to remove it when i reported it, only to get a knock on the door within 15 minutes asking if we wanted the cot which they had with them. Some lack of communication going on there. Finally, the breakfast was rather disappointing. OK, the hot buffet was perfectly acceptable but there was no fruit to accompany the cereals, nor any yoghurt. Also there were no peppermint tea bags. Given that the hotel was absolutely packed, generally speaking the condition of the hotel and the service was of a satisfactory standard. We were particularly impressed by the staff assisting a blind guest at the breakfast. However the shortcomings I have highlighted were a little irritating.
We stay at this hotel once or twice per year. It’s a great location while we are visiting friends in Eastleigh
It was fun-filled
Excellent choice for pre or post cruise out of Southampton. There were 4 of us. We had a room with 2 bedrooms, king size bed in one and 2 twins in the other. Hotel restaurant was great for breakfast and dinner. We used Uber to get around. 10 out of 10 recommend!
Clean
Lovely clean comfortable hotel ideal for a nights stay before getting on cruise. Lovely breakfast
Great hotel in terms of location, and good breakfast choices
Wonderful restful one nights stay. Excellent dinner choices, delicious cocktails. All around very restful stay
Loved the hotel room best night sleep ever. Only disappointment was the swimming pool was closed
Fantastic place to stay adjoining rooms ideal for larger families very clean tidy good food fantastic breakfast the children have their own play area with TVs and plenty of activities. 10 minute drive from Paul‘s theme park Peppa Pig world. swimming pool and gym included.
.
Booked a standard double room in this hotel last week and was looking forward to a night away with my partner on the booking I was given the option of a twin or double bed I asked for a double and was left with 2 singles pushed together. I spent most of my night with h either myself or my partner falling between them as they were not secured in place. I believe this to be a health and safety risk and when complaining to the hotel about it I was basically told it’s what u booked to deal with it. Zero customer service skills from Molly who is the head or reservations will not be back and advise people to avoid staying here at all costs!! More interested in charging a fortune than looking after their guests needs
Exactly how a hotel should be, easy, clean, respectful and good services
Great, would stay there again
Staff are well trained and make all the difference at this property. Staff friendly and chatty with customers. Evening meal excellent Good amount of onsite parking available. Stayed one night for pre cruise. Would definitely stay again.
We’ve stayed at many hotels and I think this is potentially the best!! From the reception to the bar and breakfast the staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. Everything was spotless and the food was hot and very good!!!! Thankyou to the team you are doing a great job!!! Well done.
The hotel was suitable for a 1 night stay and suited my needs as a stop between ferry and train the next morning. Breakfast was very good
Booked as a package with 2 days at Paultons Park for our daughter’s 3rd birthday. If you’re travelling with young children, this is the ideal hotel with lots of nice little touches - milk and cookies at bedtime, indoor play area, good selection of kids food and little cutlery, and so on. Best of all, every single member of staff we encountered was upbeat, helpful, friendly and interacted with our daughter. Thank you to all the team at Holiday Inn Eastleigh!
My partner and I took our 2 year old daughter on her first holiday. We booked this hotel as part of the package for Paultons Park and Peppa Pig World. The hotel was 10/10. Very family friendly - swimming pool, play room, cookies and milk for children at night. Staff were more than helpful. A special shout out to Junior B at the front desk. He was a fantastic help and very good with our daughter. Thank you so so much. Highly recommend.
Enjoyable stay at the Holiday Inn before our cruise. Had 2 week parking including with taxi however overlooked taxi only one way so need to pay on the way back (my error). Staff all friendly & helpful Room very spacious, quiet & massive bed! Good shower Had dinner the night before (gammon. & chips) very nice apart from the peas tasted of garlic which was a bit weird. Sat in a separate area called the 'Quiet zone' which I thought was a great idea, as quite a few loud children in the main dining area. Meals a bit pricey but not excessive. Able to grab a Starbucks coffee downstairs which was a bonus Public toilets are clean & pleasant smell
Booked this hotel for my gf and her daughter night before going on cruise from Southampton. Staff were absolutely fantastic, really made a big deal, extremely friendly and approachable for anything. Rooms and facilities 10/10 with a very comfortable nights stay with great breakfast on offer Plenty of things to do for the kids in the morning with play areas and parks not too far enough for a leg stretch. Will be returning and would look no further than this hotel as to where to stay next time when visiting friends within the area G&G 31.05.
The customers above us(second floor) were listening to very loud music and vibrating the walls. Ive rang the reception 2 times and ive been downstairs to reception to ask them to do something about, but the things didn't get any better until around 12.30 in the night. Quite few things during the breakfast were running out very quickly and had to wait some time to be replaced (if they still had).
Great hotel.
Excellent value … nothing bad to say! Great breakfast with something for everyone! Plenty of choice. Special thanks to Dom and Jasmine 👍 fabulous people! Always went out of their way for me and my mum, all the staff were polite and made sure we were looked after but we see something special with Dom and Jasmine. I recommend this hotel 100 percent .. thanks for having us! X
Friendly staff, cl
As there were lots of children in the hotel that day, we were upgraded to a superior room on the next floor. Very thoughtful. Lovely to have a swim too. If I could make 1 comment there just needs to be a light similar to inside the wardrobe by the coffee making facility. Its a very dark area. Thank you 😊
The service and facilities for children is excellent, we were made very welcome by all staff who couldn't do enough for us to ensure our stay was perfect. I only dropped a mark for around the property where parking fees recently increased 50% for overnight parking considering the hotel has a captive customer unable to find alternative parking.
Just checked in and the gentleman who checked us in was fantastic very very professional apologies did not get his name . So far so good so good, very nice hotel.good rooms, good beer, but most of all the staff are a massive asset to holiday inn.
Myself, my partner and my two year old decided to travel up from Kent in order to visit Poulton Park for the first time. To prevent a long day we decided to book this hotel for one night, staying on a Sunday evening. This hotel was part of a package on the Poulton Parks website. Although a chain of Holiday Inn, the presentation of this hotel was very nice and welcoming and i imagine this is due to its very close proximity to the airport. The hotel is also only 15 minutes from Poultons Park. As you entered there was a lovely smell of fragrance that hits you as soon as you walked in and it smelt amazing. The staff at reception were very friendly and accommodating, ensuring any questions we had were answered and the check in procedure itself was smooth and easy. The only confusing thing is that on reception there is an Ipad whereby you can enter your registration to avoid a ticket however you will be required to pay £7.50 parking if your a hotel guest. We booked a standard double room with two beds and paid around £239 for one night which included breakfast and also two day tickets to Poultons Park which i think was actually not bad of a price. The room itself was on the ground floor with a window looking out to the car park however considering this there was no noise issues or anything and the room itself was clean and presentable with no issues. We decided to ask for a travel cot for our child to which the staff arrived and put away the sofa bed and also set up the travel cot for us, which was great. The beds were comfortable and reasonably sized and i ended up having a good nights sleep with no issues at all. There is also a small room near the restaurant for young children to play in, containing various toys and other activities which i thought was good. In the morning we went to breakfast at 8am. The restaurant is actually quite large and good sized to which it also had an outside terrace area which appeared to look nice. The breakfast was a small buffet service which contained your usual fried eggs, sausage, bacon etc but you also had the option to have cereals, fruit and yoghurts and pastries and also access to a coffee machine, hot water and also a selection of juices. My only downfall with the breakfast was that the scrambled egg tasted like it was powdered/very salty however that was only a minor part. Overall i would definitely visit here again if i was to come back up that way. The staff, albeit from reception to maintenance were so friendly and always wishing you a good day! I highly recommend staying here if looking for somewhere if visiting!
Had a fantastic package booked with Paultons park, & thought this hotel would be the best to go with as it was family friendly & near by. After a great day at the park, we arrived as a family of 5 adults & one little one who is 2 in two months. As this booking was booked as a package, I did not have a separate booking reference for the hotel. However I did have my booking confirmation that stated the three rooms booked under one name. We unloaded the cars, got to reception and was waiting to be seen. However the greeting I got was not what I expected. The gentleman serving me, looked completely confused when I explained my package, & then tapped away on the pc, proceeding to tell me ‘ hmmm you have a big problem.’ I asked what that problem was & he proceeded to tell me, I only had one room booked under my name. I explained & showed him my confirmation & he said ‘you must have other names that the rooms are booked under?’ I said ‘no, look, the confirmation shows all three names booked under the one name’ ‘hmmm, no no no we have a big big problem here…’ he then picked up the phone & was speaking to someone like I was invisible, not explaining what was happening etc. he then continued on the phone and who ever he was speaking to must have explained that the booking was right, and helped him understand the booking, as he then said to the person on the phone ‘oh, why can’t I see that then?’ He then hung up, said nothing to me leaving me confused, and unsure of what was happening & I was thinking I would then have to book something else! Which made me feel extremely anxious about having to then pack up the car again! Then he shoved some paper work on the counter, did not explain what we were signing for, nor explained about the car parking, but then said he would charge us for it. I had no explanation about which rooms were being given to anyone nor still at this point if we even had the rooms! It wasn’t until I saw him cutting keys - I know it was resolved. I had no explanation about where the rooms were nor what this little voucher I had been given was. After getting to our rooms, they were standard but comfortable. The team in the spa were great and warm welcoming. The pool was quite cold but we enjoyed the splash around. The f&b team really saved my experience staying here as they were friendly & welcoming. A massive thank you to Dom. It wasn’t until we were leaving I also noticed my little boy didn’t receive his activity pack either. All together standard stay, but I feel the welcome I got at the reception - set the expectation of my stay & that wasn’t welcoming at all. Based on this, I would not recommend my stay. I would advise our friend at reception have a little more hospitality training & be advised on how to welcome guests. Upon checking out I did give my feedback as I was being asked about my stay.., and was told my feedback would be fed on to the colleague. I do work for Accor, so I do have an understanding on how guests should be treated. And unfortunately I do not find this acceptable.
Big and spacious
Friendly staff and very clean
2nd time here. Very nice hotel, clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff, close to Southampton and the M3. One of the best Holiday Inn breakfast with fresh fruit, juice, yoghurt and muesli. I loved it and would recommend to other guests.
Perfect hotel if you are visiting Peppa Pig World! The attention to detail and everything for kids is brilliant; everything from the playroom, the voucher for a milk and cookie and plastic cutlery and plates for breakfast. Can’t fault this hotel at all, we loved our stay and will definitely be back.
Emma was professional and helpful during check in. However, there was a disturbance in the room above my room which work my 4 years old daughter up and we were unable to fall asleep.
Good stay, rooms have been refurbished recently and are looking well for a face lift. Service on reception and at the bar lovely and friendly as always. Slight personal gripe in that I hate twin beds zipped together being classed as a double - I understand from business perspective but spend all night either in the dip or freezing as the duvet isn't big enough to cover both!
A really nice hotel with lovely friendly staff and a great atmosphere. We had a large room at the front with a big TV and bathroom. Very comfortable rooms and a super breakfast. We would stay again when we are in Southampton and would recommend the hotel to our friends.
We stayed here as part of the break through Paultons Park. The hotel was clean and tidy and the restaurant was very clean and well staffed to ensure the tables were clean. Having two children we booked this hotel as it was close to Paultons Park (about 15/20 minutes) and due to having a play room and swimming pool. The play room was okay. There wasn’t many toys and there was a basket of broken toys by the door. The swimming pool as so cold and not enjoyable at all. We also booked due to the ‘kids eat free’ offer in the restaurant on the evening. Don’t be fooled by this offer though, after eating there one night, we realised that the price of the food and drink is a lot higher than normal and this is why there is an offer of ‘kids eat free’. Both adults had a chicken burger (which wasn’t that enjoyable), two glasses of Pepsi and two fruit shoots and it was £57, which we thought was a lot! Breakfast was great and there was everything you could want to eat, from a cooked breakfast, cereal, continental breakfast and pastries. The hotel looks as though it has had a bit of a renovation more recently, however I thought the swimming pool area and changing rooms were quite dated and needed refreshing. The rooms were clean and you couldn’t really fault them apart from a family of four (2 adults, 1 child and a toddler) in the room with a cot was a little tight and there wasn’t much space. It would be okay for a night but two nights or more felt very cramped. If you do request a travel cot, the mattress isn’t the full length of the cot so we had to wedge a pillow at the end to stop it moving. The staff were very attentive, giving us extra bedding and pillows when requested and the staff in the restaurant was very kind.
Great overnight option ahead of joining cruise from Southampton. All the staff are attentive and helpful. Our room was spotless, roomy and modern. Breakfast was plentiful and lots of options in the buffet. Our only suggestion would be to increase the number of EV chargers as only one was available. Our car stayed safely parked for the duration of the cruise.
We stayed at this hotel as part of the Peppa Pig World Package and I was very impressed with it. The rooms are very modern with good amount of space, the bed and bedding made for a very comfortable night's sleep and the TV being able to connect to your phone was so handy as I was able to put on my sons favourite programmes. The swimming pool and the play room are both added bonuses and make it ideal for visiting with children. For me though, the staff friendless and helpfulness definitely made our trip. I was travelling on my own with my young son who has autism and Kieran in the evening made my life lots easier by not only being very friendly and super adaptable at ordering but also brought my food up to my room for me when I had to leave the restaurant area before it was ready. Roger, in the morning at breakfast was also very helpful and accommodating as my son wasn't coping with the business of the restaurant and was clinging to me so Roger plated my food up for me and put it on a tray so we could take it back to our room to eat. These experiences really made all the difference to me so thankyou so so much 😊
very good we had lovely time
We stayed here with our little girl for two nights as we treated her to a trip to poulton park for her second birthday and travelled around 5hours. There was myself, my partner my 2 year old and her nan & grandad joined too but they stayed in a separate room next door. The hotel was amazing could not fault this at all, from the food, to the staff, to the rooms all exceeded expectations! You always worry when you stay somewhere with a terrible two year old but the hotel was such a good kid friendly hotel, you didn’t feel judged at all! There were lots of other kids too so plenty of other friendly parents to talk too! There is a dedicated play room with lots of things to keep kids entertained with (they do need to be supervised though) but just meant me and my partner could take turns having 10 minutes at the bar 🤣 she received a kids activity pack on arrival, as well as a voucher for milk and cookies before bed which was a really nice touch. The room was amazing, they do supply travel cots if needed however my little one just stayed in our bed anyway as it was super big! It was clean and well stocked with towels, toiletries, tea coffee etc, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. The plug sockets do have USB and USB-C connectors too. If you do need any more tea coffee/ anything else just ask. The food & drinks are a little pricey considering there are pubs near by for cheaper if you’re on a budget, however the food is really good, and the staff are amazing. Always super friendly. We had breakfast each morning and again the food was amazing. There’s a wide selection of hot and cold foods, plenty of juice and tea and coffee. would definitely use this hotel if I’m down that way again
Very good happy everything was perfect
A bit late check-in is looks verry busy in there apart from that all amazing 👏 we definitely goo again
Hotel is lovely and very clean, We were impressed with our room and the bed was comfortable, Be careful if your shower is in the bath as can be a little slippery! Food was great but a little expensive, So wasn't surprised when people were bringing in takeaways, My only negative is its very noisy down stairs even in the queit area its noisy, All most as if the hotel's bar/restaurant area isn't big enough to accommodate too many guests to just sit and have a chat before or after a meal, So if you want a hotel where you can enjoy a quiet drink and a chat this isn't the hotel for you, Staff were excellent, Exterior of hotel was great too and plenty of parking.
Ok
The hotel is very good for families and kids. The stuff are very helpful and kind. I will comeback soon .
Stayed here for one night, well I wouldn’t be staying again it’s awful!! Restaurant is dirty no other way to explain it, sat at a table and the waitress watched me clean the table starters came with the child meal then main came I asked for them to clear the starter plate and they took my child’s meal that he was still clearly eating. Main was awful had the lasagna saw a previous post about the food being microwave meals well the person who wrote that was not exaggerating. Other families here as this hotel says it has a play room it’s just a room with bits of dirty toys in so don’t be fooled by that, kids were just running wild, room was very dated and you can hear everything from your room was extremely noisy until about 3am. Breakfast well I went had a look again the table was dirty and it was like feeding time in a zoo the food looked dry so we skipped the breakfast, on checkout was asked if everything was ok explained I was not happy and the receptionist just looked at me stupid will never stay here again and if you would like a quiet night I don’t recommend this hostel no other way to describe it.
We loved the room and the convenience of having the restaurant downstairs. The staff was unfailingly kind and helpful. Easy access to the airport and the cruise ship port.
Brilliant experience in this hotel. Travelled with my partner & 2 year old son to attend the nearby Paulton's Park. Excellent, friendly and efficient check in. Our room was spacious, clean and well appointed. Chromecast on the TVs comes in handy too! We stayed 3 nights and had breakfast and dinner each day, it was so good. The team in the bar & restaurant were excellent, always attentive and despite being super busy - always took time to check in with us. True hospitality is evident at this hotel. There is a kids play room adjacent to the restaurant, our son loved this and it has a mixture of puzzles, books, play houses, cars, tvs etc. We also used the pool three nights in a row. Without a doubt the most family friendly hotel I have ever stayed at. Thanks to all the team Ruairi, Emma & Oscar
The staff in this hotel apper to actually want to serve you. The staff are a credit to this hotel. Ill be back.
The hotel was fresh & clean. We decided against eating there for our evening meal as the vegetarian choices weren’t great. The breakfast was good & the chef had vegetarian sausages when we asked. Apart from the noise from tiny children it was a great breakfast.
AVOID this hotel at all costs. I paid £107 for a room and the confirmation email later said that the check in time was not suitable for my needs. I then tried several times to get support to change it without any luck. So I was left with only one choice that was to cancel and rebook somewhere else. They then did not refund me the £107 and said it was hotel policy not to give refunds. DONT waste your money, use other hotels in the area that offer no cancellation fees and are very much cheaper. Please don’t make the mistake I made. Awful customer service.
Good for a business trip or meeting. The breakfast was a little disappointing as the continental offering was limited. Excellent staff.
Good for a business stay.
Fine
Have stayed a few times before so I knew what I was getting. Rooms are big, comfy bed and sofa. Bar and restaurant were packed but found a table in the Quiet Area and had pizza and a cocktail. Checked out early so didn’t have breakfast. Overall a good stopover!
the hotel was clean and quiet .. highly recommended
We booked this hotel as part of the two day Paultons park package deal due to its location and facilities for families. The hotel is a 15 min car journey from the park, parking is on site at the hotel for £7.50 for one night. Check in was smooth and staff were really welcoming. Our room was a good size for the three of us and was clean. I found that the tea/coffee tray needed a top up quite quickly and also we only had one spoon- not so great when you are making 1 tea and 1 coffee. The pillows were really comfortable but the beds weren’t to our liking- too hard for us but that is personal preference. The playroom was great, a nice little space for young children to play and explore. The restaurant was the main reason I wrote this a 4/5 rating. Dinner- was fine, but largely very similar to Wetherspoons type food but more expensive. My crumble was sadly frozen/very cold still in the middle and therefore sent it back. The waitress however couldn’t be more apologetic. Breakfast- again, was fine but the sausages need a rethink. Very tough/overdone. Overall we had a good stay for the price that we paid.
The family room, while compact, was spotless and offered a comfortable stay. Its location provided easy access to both the motorway and the local shopping centre, making it very convenient. The hotel staff were exceptionally welcoming, always greeting guests with warm smiles and eager to engage in conversation. The car park, which is a paid facility, offered plenty of space, making parking hassle-free. The spa facilities were well-maintained and clean, although the swimming pool could have benefitted from being a few degrees warmer for a more pleasant swim. Overall, my stay was thoroughly enjoyable, and I would certainly consider returning in the future. A quick tip: I recommend reserving a table for both breakfast and dinner in advance. This is especially important given the number of cruise guests staying at the hotel. One guest I spoke to mentioned that they always choose this hotel for its convenience, particularly before and after their cruise.
Very helpful and friendly staff. Child friendly - kids eat free, playroom for entertainment, colouring pictures at meal times. Nice pool and facilities.
A lovely 1 night stay with partner and son. Leisure facilities lovely and clean, friendly, helpful staff and clean and modern rooms. Would definitely stay here again. Was perfect for a last minute night away, look forward to the next time we stay.
We stayed at the hotel to visit my brother who was seriously Ill. we needed to extend our stay as he suddenly died your staff were extremely helpful and assisted us in every way they could thank you
I was at this hotel for Business for 5 nights, but it was also a great place for after work leisure. The training room and surrounding refreshment areas were more than adequate and the environment is relaxing. Roger who was on the reception for the training rooms was very efficient and accommodating. Thank you The main reception and bar staff are very smart and professional. The leisure side was also very good for the gym, sauna , steam room and pool..
After 8 mornings in the UK, finally a breakfast with good flavors!
Loved the family room as it has separate bedrooms rather than all squashed into one space. The restaurant served excellent evening food and the breakfast was continually topped up. The kids room was far too young for our 8 year old but excellent for younger children and loved the milk and cookie bedtime treat voucher! Being able to swim as a family was a huge highlight and my daughter is desperate to return! Staff were very friendly and helpful.
