Well maintained hotel
I left a polo shirt in the wardrobe which was £90, so not an insignificant amount, and upon contacting the hotel they told me it wasn’t found. I assumed this had to be wrong as I left it hanging in the wardrobe so challenged this and surprise surprise it was then found. But really disappointing as it felt as though the person I was corresponding with didn’t take this seriously and it was just being dismissed. Not good customer service.
Rooms
All is good
Nice hotel, clean, pleasant
Big expensive, thought £19 for sandwich, crisps and G&T bit steep Breakfast good, but as buffet, plates should be warmed, soon goes cold on a cold plate
room was clean with WIFI, CLEAN BATHROOM WITH HOT WATER. A GOOD SELF-SERVICE BREAKFAST WITH STAFF READY TO ASSIST CUSTOMMERS IF NEED BE.
Room breakfast
Upon arrival myself and a male friend found out we had a double bed. When I went to talk with reception and explained that we where work colleagues and I had book two single beds. She was kind enough to try and fund us a different room. The young lady found a family room and asked a colleague to make up the side bed. He was then very helpful and moved a few things round so we could have two single beds. I give the staff 10/10
I would say maybe a plug socket on the other side as well. My friend took the only bed with a plug socket
Solid option with good services
Prices to local market so no complaints
Great staff great food room clean
No drawers in room No electric socket reqeusted by bed for cpap machine Dangerous lip on floor towards bathroom
Location, price
Air-con wasn’t working, there was a cooling fan but it wasn’t very effective

the staff, very helpful and a joy to be around, very clean facility, good breakfast, comfortable bed and location is excellent.
nothing
Good location when visiting MK Theatre District and the Centre MK. The staff at this hotel are fantastic. Our room was lovely and had a comfortable bed. There are great facilities, including a gym and pool. Breakfast was plentiful and good quality.
It would be nice to have free parking.
Silenzio e pulizia
The room was nicely presented, breakfast was delicious. Staff were so friendly.
The health club was a little dated and could do with a refresh along with the bathroom in the room. They were both clean but looked like they were from the 90s
Polite, helpful staff
There wasn't anything I didn't like
Location
Expensive parking fee No discount offered for residents of hotel
Everything was easy to deal with it car parking swimming pool breakfast the stuff was very good
The washrooms look a little bit dated
The room was brilliant so spacious and comfortable really welcoming. Staff was very polite and informative
One small critique was the cleaner walked in the room the following morning when we was still getting ready to leave
Excellent location, very friendly staff and lovely breakfast. Really good value.
The family room was great, one large king size bed and 2 singles in separate areas, although no door between. Large and roomy bedroom. Air conditioning was very welcome as we went in August so it was very hot outside. All staff were so friendly and polite. Brilliant location for central Milton Keynes and we were able to walk to the hotel from the station.
We went on a bank holiday so the pool was at full capacity which meant we didn't stay long as it was too busy to be able to swim. Pool area and changing rooms tired but apparently due a refurbishment towards the end of the year. We came to this hotel specifically for the swimming pool so came away disappointed with this aspect.
Only one lift working from the Saturday morning, we were told we could use the service lift, but then that broke down aswell, we were there from Fri till Monday and had to use the stairs the majority of the time, lift was still not fixed when we left on Monday.

L'emplacement, les espaces communs, le petit déjeuner, le personnel. Le calme des alentours
Chambre vieillotte. Clim old school bruyante. Le prix mais bon...
It was clean and the staff where friendly.
It was very hot in all areas of the hotel
The food was great room nice and tidy excellent shower good location and a great atmosphere brilliant hotel
Price was a bit steep for one night
Everything! This is our 3rd time staying at this hotel, and we absolutely love it. ❤️ For my kids, a holiday basically means Holiday Inn! 😂🏨 Safe to say, we’ll be back again! ✨
Breakfast very good. Evening meal very good, service excellent. All restaurant staff very friendly and attentive as on my previous visits.
The restaurant's menu is a bit limited and hasn’t changed in the last four years or so that I’ve been staying.
Great location, helpful staff, clean and modern
Unable to adjust aircon temperature
Hotel was nicely laid out and the rooms where clean. Good facilities
The changing rooms in the pool could do with a deep clean. The floor leading from the mens changing room to the pool in particular.
Clean, comfortable, good value, and convenient. What more could you ask for.
The parking is a little expensive, and should be a set rate from check in to check out.
Location and staff
Just a bit run down, but fair.
Cleanliness of rooms air con location
having to pay for parking
Staff on reception and the health club were fantastic.
Clean and constable bed easy to find the location bathroom was nice
Car parking bays very small and not enough bays the air con wasn't working the fan was useless didn't do anything. Bath could been bigger im 6ft2 felt cramped using the shower and low pressure
Room - Clean, spacious, comfortable bed, good aircon, hair dryer, iron, room service and great size tv. It was quiet, and well lit. Staff - lovely and welcoming. The younger ones need more training (social skills and manners). Check in - brilliant. Quick. Breakfast - Quite decent Easy secure parking onsite Location - Near bus stops and train station.
The bathroom was so dated as opposed to the bedroom. The bathtub/shower had a plastic and fabric curtain and the bottom of the curtain was dirty and mouldy. There was a lot of little very curly hair stuck on the wall tiles and floor of the bathtub. The toilet didn’t flush properly and the lever was not easy to push down either. The comfortable bed had these sort of pink marks on it as though something had splashed onto the linen, on the side nearer to the toilet. The bed also had these little tiny kinky bits of hair on it. Not excessive but not nice. Many hotels require the housekeeping team to wear their hair up precisely to minimise the risk of hair falling in the clean bed linen. It’s a shame about the bathroom. It doesn’t need to be luxurious; it needs to work properly, be immaculately clean — no curtains, but glass panels instead! And above all, no mould. For some bizarre reason the hand-wash dispenser was not within normal reach. And it’s not Rituals soap either like some photos suggest. There was no hand cream either. It doesn’t have to be luxurious. It just needs a supervisor with a keen eye for detail and the support of a management team that don’t bury their heads in the sand. Overall, a 4 star bedroom with a 1 star bathroom.
Location to Milton Keyene Bowl.
The shower drain and sink drains were slow. Food selections were slim, and late night "bar" was really for coffee lovers". the pool area had the STRONGEST chlorine smell and maybe 5 chairs, I went right back to my room.
Cleanliness, friendly staff, breakfast, location.
Towel warmer in bath didn’t work. Sheet on the bed had little stains on the edge, but was clean.
Henkilökunta oli tosi mukavaa kaikkialla
Hintalaatusuhde ei kohdannut odotuksia. Odotin enemmän.
Location. Staff were really helpful and friendly. It had a restaurant and bar with a good coffee bar. Great facilities with the pool etc.
Unfortunately in one of our rooms, the air con wasn't working, they put an air cooler in the room, but we had to turn it off at night because of the noise. I would also say the bathroom in one if our rooms was looking a bit tired, but it was clean and spacious.
Great location for where we needed to be.
Our first room the air conditioning didn’t work and the pull out bed/lounge had rubbish behind it. We were looking for a power point.
Loved the pool Kerry (?) in Marcos on 8th Aug was fabulous - she made our evening so relaxed & fun. You have a true gem in her. Also ladies on the restaurant for breakfast greeting were wonderfully warm & welcoming. Loved the bar/coffee area for relaxing. All food was faultless.
No locking lockers in the pool area Receptionists efficient but very cool & not particularly welcoming Flickering light over the bath rm 405 Car parking charge quite expensive Aircon noisy & ineffective throughout stay Would have preferred coffee in our room - dont drink tea & sometimes you just want it to hand.

Leaving
Its an absolute gem if you’re attending the F1 or MotoGP weekend at Silverstone 🏁 and has almost everything in proximity, like shopping center or bus stops
No minibar; it wasn’t listed in the room, so I was aware that I wouldn’t have any way of chilling a bottle of water in the room but still, a mini fridge is needed
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Location was easy to find.
Fabulous hotel Towels were lovely and crunchy
Could have put some complimentary biscuits in the room Shower needed to be hotter and more powerful
Location perfect room was lovely staff were great
It has a pool, not the nicest pool, but better than no pool. Reception were very helpful
Was expecting a nicer room for the cost
The location great very close to shops. The room was clean & comfortable. Bed was excellent!
Room was gloomy even during daytime as it had no natural day light. The lighting in room was appalling a few lamps in the corners. Only the bathroom was well lit. One Broken lift out of service for 2 days I spent there over the busiest weekend they have all year. Not enough staff on duty.
Good location for the reggae festival, clean, accessible, staff were very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend
Cost but this was reflective of the over inflated prices for the festival weekend
Staff were excellent as was the food.
Didn't realize where we parked wasn't part of the hotel..as result we got a fine of £50. Should be mentioned by staff when checking in. AC in room was very poor however weather was boiling so hard cope with.
The hotel was very clean, comfortable and welcoming. Its location in central Milton Keynes was excellent, as it was close to shops, restaurants and local attractions. The breakfast was amazing, with a wide variety of food to choose from. The staff were always friendly and helpful; when we asked for an extension lead, they provided one straight away without hesitation. We enjoyed our stay so much that we wanted to book an additional night, but unfortunately, the hotel was fully booked for the following night.
The swimming pool was often crowded because of scheduled classes, so there was not much room for hotel guests to enjoy it. This was understandable, but it would have been nice to have some dedicated pool time for guests.
The location was great very near all the shops and room very clean
We couldn’t get a room with stand in shower, ours was a shower over bath, not great for me as I have recently had a knee replacement and it was not very good
Decent sized rooms and facilities.
Everything was superb
Ligging
Klein zwembad
I liked the size of the room, the size of the bathroom was nice, the room was big. I liked that we had a fan and ac unit too keep us cool.
There was no fridge in the room, would have been nice to have somewhere to store water to keep it cool. One of the windows was stuck open so we were no able to close it when it got cold at night. Only one of the lifts were working and being on the 3rd floor a lot of people were forced to use that one. No vending machine to buy a cool drink as there was no fridge as the drinks at the bar were quite expensive. Matress on the bed was very soft and bouncy.
The staff were so friendly and accommodating. That's really refreshing.
The vending machine in reception! Staff member on duty helped with this though.
It was great, staff were great, and location was ideal for us. Would highly recommend
Nothing
Nice big clean room and decent food
I think it is unfair to be charged £15 for parking which when added to Breakfast and evening meal made the stay poor value for money.
Huge room, great facilities
No fridge
very good experience we visit again
All the staff were amazing
Paying for parking. Having to share the swimming pool with a baby swimming class. There was a large group of adults in the reception window jist staring in. I was with my 13 year old daughter. It made her feel very uncomfortable. Saturday morning was the only time we could use the pool. The pool staff were not as friendly or helpful as the reception staff
The little extra touches for our first wedding was such amazing gesture & we were very blown away & made our stay extra special. We paid for the balcony & the room size was very generous, would be happy to come back with kids. Staff were amazing. Breakfast was delicious. Bar area was great.
The only area that needs work is the pool area, we were down there for 5mins & then decided not to stay down there.
Not much paying for the car park
Location; comfortable
Nil
Schwimmbad war gut. Die Klimaanlage war hervorragend und nötig bei der Hitze.
Bed was very comfy
No air con, had a small unit that was extremely loud. Bathroom very outdated and shower was poor. Hardly any plug sockets and none next to the bed for charging your phone
The breakfast was lovely. Staff are amazing. The standing fan was a lovely extra in the room.
The air conditioning unit was loud making it difficult to sleep
Room and staff
Having to pay to park there for our entire stay and the parking prices were ridiculously high. Not informed of this at the booking time
Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Check in was easy and efficient, restaurant service in Marco's was excellent, room a good size with all facilities needed. Parking on site at extra cost but so close to Central MK Shopping.
Air con was great, which was the main purpose of my stay. Overall I thought my stay matched my expectations based on advertised photos/facilities. Easy walk from the train station, decent sized pool, comfy bed. Wouldn't hesitate to book again.
An odd thing, but instead of a duvet I actually had a mattress topper in the sheet. I slept well, but it was odd. Pool timings were also slightly off, I was told I would have to be out by 9:10pm rather than the 9:30pm that's on the schedule. Neither of these impacted my overall stay!
Reception acted quickly to give us another room when we realised we had not been given 2 single beds as booked.
It's summer and it is hot. Room did not have a fridge. The sink did not drain well at all.
Great location, has a swimming pool and generally nice rooms! The staff were really friendly! Shout out to Lauren.R who helped us move rooms and was so lovely.
Our aircon wasn’t working on the first night, in the heatwave, so it was a horrible night. Also paying £15 a day for parking on top of the room does feel extremely steep, parking should be free for hotel guests.
Really lovely and clean hotel. Spotless rooms. Comfortable beds. Huge TV in room, with streaming services. Strong wifi.
Staff were not that friendly, especially on check in. We were told to use the new tablets to check in, even though there wasn't a queue at reception, so it would have been polite to just check us in himself. We filled out everything on the tablet (asking for all the information we'd already given online), only for it not to work and we had to be manually checked in anyway. I think staff should always try and help where they can, rather than pushing customers to use technology. It was late at night and we just wanted to get to our room!
Close to everything
Nothing to dislike
Location, room size, 2x fans
Lumpy pillow and dirty sink
Fantastic staff. Pretty entrance & atrium. The young man running the bar on Saturday evening was so professional. Very nice, smart, well appointed room with extremely comfortable beds. Very satisfying breakfast. Everything was tasty, fresh and beautifully presented. Staff were also so pleasant and helpful. You've done a great job hiring the right sort of people for hospitality.
Parking arrangements need to be much clearer upfront. 15 minutes is just not enough time to get into the hotel, with luggage and a kid in tow, check in, get one's bearings and then figure out the hotel-side parking rules. I felt so rushed and being deaf, it takes me a little bit longer to process what's going on in new surroundings. I think if the 15 minutes can't be lengthened then the parking details need to be the very first thing check in staff talk about. It could have been even brought to my attention when I telephoned a few days earlier to confirm my booking. Maybe move the parking payment machine to the front desk area so it's immediately obvious? Also, £15 to park overnight is rather steep. The swimming pool is dirty - brown gunk all around on the tiles and the water was a bit murky. It needs a good scrub. The fabric chairs in the pool/gym reception area are disgustingly dirty - full of stains. I could only find 1 somewhat working locker in the women's changing room. It's all looking a bit rough and "tired" in that part of the premises. Our room was very good but there's dust in tucked away corners. The shower curtain has obvious mineral stains. Coffee/tea supply was very stingy - 4 tiny milk tubs? That's barely enough to whiten 1x cup of coffee. Our room phone was plugged in but it didn't connect to anywhere in the hotel.
Breakfast and the facilities
Room service would have been good
Location.
This place needs a thorough service audit. Despite reminding them to clean the room three times over 2.5 hours. Finally when escalated to the general manger, then only the cleaning was done at 4.30pm. The front desk, reservation manager were confrontational, argumentative and rude. This is demonstrated a clear lack of customer service training. Rather than fixing the problem, the staff was more interested in confrontation. The air conditioning system needs a thorough upgrade as more often we having stifling summer heat. One of the two elevators were not working and remained out of service for all most 2 days. There were no urgency of fixing issue. Bottom the franchisee or if this property is corporate owned need a detailed audit of the entire property. It was more than a mere disgrace of a property and its management.
Swimming pool
No air conditioning
Location
Room was smelly, cleaning was not done daily
Great location, staff were polite and friendly. Breakfast was amazing
Only thing wrong was the bed being too hard
Good breakfast and spacious room and bathroom
The room was slightly outdated with no real windows and the toilet didn’t flush properly.
It was spacious and quite modern, though not new.
The room had a window to the inside, which was the lobby bar. So people would be talking loudly outside for a long time at night.
good breakfast, nice staff
–
Hotel ok.
Brak szczotek do WC
Holiday Inn Milton Keynes Central was exactly what we needed for stay. Close proximity to everything we had planned. Food was great, rooms were great and staff was so freindly and helpful.
The main bed was a little hard for my liking and our rooms were in separate floors (we booked 2 rooms) which was a little inconvenient but they are my only dislikes about our trip away.
Modern
Location
The staff at reception
Run down in desperate need of renovation, sink plug didn’t work, air con didn’t work and room was very tired with old furniture
Booked an inner courtyard view, to be told this was an outside view. Rather than a view over their inner courtyard. Not clean, pool area dirty and water not clear.
We upgraded our room as I struggle to get into a bath, the room was beautiful and it was lovely clean and comfortable, especially the air conditioning!!
Nothing
Excellent location. Friendly staff
Staff were lovely. Hotel is very clean and a pleasurable stay. Staff were also very helpful.
Pool is constantly booked out for lane swimming and children's classes from local swimming clubs for toddlers so the pool is very often not available for leisure time. Breakfast was a bit poor. Vegan sausages were horrible. Coffee machines are very over roasted and taste burnt. Don't buy breakfast. There's tonnes in the walkable surrounding area. Non compensated parking really sucks.
The air conditioned rooms. Good size and comfortable beds. Polite staff. The bar area and general lobby area well kept. Swimming pool and fitness centre
Breakfast a bit on the bland side and slightly less quality. Window view out to the hotel side.
This hotel is good to stay couple of nights, there is parking charge £15.00 per day, TBH Need to avoid it for hotel customers
Parking
Location was very good
The room we paid for was an executive with the balcony however it was interconnecting room and the next door were very loud. Also there was something wrong with the air-conditioning or something upstairs and the noise was like a motor off and on all evening. Also our balcony that we paid extra for was very small and also next to a communal area and we had a lot of noise that evening from party across the way very disappointed.
The location was great, the employees that we spoke to were nice, mostly. Good value, there are facilities but didn't get the opportunity to use them.
One morning I went to ask for coffee and brown sugar and the receptionist said they didn't have any and rolled her eyes. Large amounts of children, this massively impacted our stay as they weren't being kept and eye on, and they were going up and down in elevators, running through the halls at night, when mentioned just received a 'well that's kids' response. Also meant we didn't get to use the facilities which we booked this hotel for, sadly. The air con didn't really work, the light over the bath kept flickering and made me have a seizure, in a mobility accessible room. When mentioned this also didn't seem to bother the person I spoke to. Think this is probably due to it being busy at the time maybe? However am disappointed as this was me and my FH's first trip away since I completed chemotherapy and surgery.
