We stayed in the Beach Suite which was a great size for a family of 4. The room was not noisy. Nice touches such as laundry service free of charge, bathrobe, iron, fully equipped kitchen. Very friendly and professional staff, which is not common in the island.

Great location, super clean and spacious. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach and especially enjoyed the breakfast each day. The food was fantastic and accommodations were great. The team on site were super responsive when needed. The team even did a load of laundry for us! They went above and beyond. Great place and highly Recommend

A bit further out of centre than anticipated

We spent a week in Sao Miguel and decided to split our time between a city-based hotel and one with a pool and beach. Aqua Populo Village is a nice but far from perfect choice. It's closer to an Air B&B than a hotel. There is daily housekeeping, a daily breakfast basket delivered to your room, and the staff will even do your laundry, which is very nice. But I think the other reviewers here are more accustomed to a self-serivce apartment than a full-serivce hotel. Staying here keeps you in the official city limits of PD but has absolutely nothing within walking distance, and getting a taxi or rideshare to anything in town or elsewhere on the island, including to the airport, is challenging. If you are renting a car for your stay, that's not an issue, but if you're not driving yourself, getting anywhere from here is not easy. There are no restaurants within walking distance. Sunset beach is close by but not actually at the property and has no chairs or umbrellas available for use or rent. The rooftop pool area is nice but small (4 lounge chairs). It overlooks a busy road and isn't quiet, and there is no food or drink service available. I appreciate that the staff set up umbrellas for us. We stayed in the Atlantic Deluxe Villa, which has plenty of space (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a loft that could sleep more people, and a full kitchen). The outdoor patio is tiny and does not have any seating. The on-site gym is large and always empty, but the equipment there is old, and it's not air-conditioned. The staff here are great and easy to communicate with.

Lacking a dresser in a large bedroom to be able to comfortably put stuff, organize stuff. A rolling rack was all there was. Also for a large bathroom lacked counter-space with the tiny sink area. Loud at times for being unit at the door.

The property is spacious. The staff are very nice and responsive by text. We appreciated that the cleaning staff found some items we left when checking out an returned them to us - that was very nice. The breakfast is plentiful and good. They will even do your laundry for you on request, which is nice if you are travelling for a long period of time.

Of course it's not something they can control, but the location of this property makes it a challenge. It's not walking distance to downtown, and there are no good restaurants in walking distance, so everything requires a taxi. Also, the pool area faces a busy street and is not peaceful. The gym is large, but the equipment is old. Our room had a bit of a mold smell -- I think there is a leak around the windows.

Nebyl nám vysvětlen způsob objednávání snídaně. I přes vyplněný formulář přišlo vždy něco jiného, nebo potraviny chyběly úplně. Každá snídaně byla překvapení. V apartmánu byl nedostatečný počet zásuvek, když jsme chtěli nabíjet mobil, musela se odpojit lampička a podobně. V koupelně bylo malé umyvadlo, nebylo místo na odložení prádla, chyběly věšáky na ručníky a ve sprše chyběla odkládací polička. V kuchyni bylo nepraktické otevírání všech dvířek u kuchyňské linky.

Customer service was excellent. Every time I reached out, the person on the other end answered and was very helpful. We stayed in the penthouse which was a good size very clean and right next to the pool and hot tub. The breakfast was great too

Getting into and leaving the property was a little confusing because you need the gate to open to park your car and leave at the end. Also, it seems like there are other amenities which are not available right on property, such as massages, bike rentals, workout classes. The business should put a link to third parties that they are associated with that provide services. Really small things. Overall, a great stay.

We had a view on parking lot. I belive the owners should plant some bushes to hide it s bit. Also on the roof with a swimming pool was a bit dirty (glass fence was always dusted). For such price such details should be taken care of

Die Lage ist sehr schön in Gehdistanz zum Strand. Unser Zimmer mit Terrasse im Garten war sehr bequem und gut ausgestattet auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt. Obwohl kein typisches Hotel kümmert sich das Team auch wenn man kein Whatsapp verwendet über die Nachrichten Funktionen in Booking.com sehr schnell um jegliche Belange. Der Dachpool und das Jacuzzi sowie der Fitnessraum bieten zusätzlichen Spass.

Kleinere Kritikpunkte wurden vom Team sehr gerne angenommen und werden sicherlich entsprechend behoben.

Unser Apartment war auf der 1. Etage. Dadurch hatten wir vom kleinen Balkon, mit zwei Stühlen und Tisch, Meerblick. Der SPA Bereich ist nicht sehr groß aber sehr schön. Am späten Nachmittag trifft man dann alle Bewohner. Der Fitness Raum ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Im Kühlschrank sind Getränke für die es eine Getränke/Preisliste gibt. Aber man hat schonmal etwas da. Der Strand ist in 5 Min. erreichbar. Da andere Lokalitäten etwas weiter weg waren haben wir dort an unseren drei Abenden gegessen. Portionen zum Teilen geeignet, lecker und Preiswert. Die Weine waren sehr gut. Das Auto wird auf dem verschlossenen Hof abgestellt und mit der Fernbedienung geöffnet. Von der Duchgangsstr. haben wir Nachts nichts gehört. Nett war auch Hinweise zu Aktivitäten zu bekommen. Alles hat gut geklappt.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt auf São Miguel! Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, gemütlich und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Besonders das Frühstück war hervorragend – frisch, abwechslungsreich und mit regionalen Spezialitäten. Die Gastgeber waren unglaublich freundlich, hilfsbereit und haben uns viele tolle Tipps für die Insel gegeben. Die Lage war perfekt, um São Miguel zu erkunden und gleichzeitig Ruhe zu genießen. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Absolute Empfehlung!

A very large, comfortable apartment with a well-equipped kitchenette. A comfortable bedroom with ample storage space. A large bathroom with a shower and bathtub. A seating area with a table for comfortable meals. Breakfast is delivered to your door at your chosen time, with a selection of cheeses, breads, cold cuts, and juices. Nespresso capsules for the coffee machine and sweet additions are provided. The building has a large gym (not everyone needs it, but it's there), a small swimming pool, and a hot tub. Parking with an automatic gate. Very friendly check-in staff and excellent daily communication with the property manager are also available. Daily suggestions for activities on the island, depending on the weather.

Everything about this location was outstanding. Above and beyond in every aspect. The breakfast was incredibly wonderful, the shower had excellent pressure, the bed was more than comfortable. The staff was very special - helpful and gave amazing recommendations. Could not recommend this more!!!

Uma ótima experiência! O apartamento é lindo, super limpo, confortável e com uma temperatura muito agradável. Tem televisão smartv na sala e nos dois quartos, que nos permite ligar a nossa Netflix em 1 minuto e desfrutar como se estivéssemos em casa. O staff foi sempre muito solícito, atencioso e rápido. Entregam um pequeno almoço delicioso à porta, e ajustam a comida as nossas preferências dentro da sua lista pré definida. A localização é ótima. Muito perto da praia e das vias de acesso ao resto da ilha. Vamos muito satisfeitos e com vontade de regressar :)

Overall, the stay was quite good. The room was clean and generally comfortable, and the basic conditions for accommodation were satisfactory. However, there were some serious concerns. One staff member behaved in a very negative and intrusive manner, which made us feel uncomfortable. The attitude was overly pushy and inappropriate for guests who come to relax. Additionally, some of our personal belongings went missing during the stay, which is very worrying. A separate note to the management and staff: people come to your hotel to отдых and feel at ease. Instead of creating a welcoming atmosphere, the constant pressure and intrusive behavior significantly affected our experience. We hope you will take this feedback seriously and improve your service.

Séjour très agréable notre logement au deuxième étage était très grand et très lumineux. Nous avons apprécié d'être surclassé. La salle de sport est grande et très bien équipée. La plage est à moins de 5 min à pied. Le parking privé et fermé est vraiment appréciable. Les salles de bain et les chambres sont très propres. La cuisine est grande et bien équipée. Les propriétaires sont toujours disponibles et donnent volontiers de bon conseils. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et varié.

Rien de rédhibitoire mais avec le vent il y a un sifflement dans la pièce de vie. La douche de la grande chambre est un peu dégradée (problème de conception initiale).

Penthouse BLUE VILLA - podobalo mi sie absolutnie wszystko. Jest to nie tylko jeden z najlepszych obiektow na Sao Miguel ale jeden z najlepszych w ktorych bylem. Podobal mi sie wystrój, wielkosc, 2 łazienki, minibar (nie korzystalismy ale jest!), dostep do basenu (24 stopnie) i jacuzzi z widokiem na miasto i ocean, jadalnia z widokiem na ocean, światlo/doswietlenie mieszkania, lokalizacja (obok świetnej plazy i z 5 km od centrum Ponta Delgada). Generalnie jak wroce tam (a wroce bo bylem juz 6 razy wiec czuje ze bede i 7) to ten obiekt bedzie moim faworytem!

Wszystko mi sie podobalo, jesli nawet widzialem jakis drobiazg wymagajacy naprawy/poprawy to absolutnie nie ma on zadnego wplywu na moja doskonalą ocene

It’s very loud in the house when every apartment is booked. Our apartment-frontdoor doesn’t closed the right way, so it was clattering very loud if somebody came into the house Breakfast could have been a bit more varied (if you stay longer than one week)

Die morgendliche Frühstückskiste war immer ein Höhepunkt dann das Frühstück zu genießen und dabei über die großen Fenster und den Atlantik zu blicken

Centraal gelegen. Ruime badkamer en goede matrassen. Leuk dat we elke dag een idee per app kregen waar we naar toe konden gaan. Het strand is dichtbij. Eigen parkeergelegenheid. Ontbijt wordt elke dag netjes geleverd en kan je via een keuze menu aanpassen.

Het kluisje staat los in de kast en staat op storing. De kluis en inhoud kan hierdoor makkelijk worden meegenomen. Voldoende kledingkasten, maar geen enkele legplanken. Advies om legplanken toe te voegen. Ontbijt is prima maar het brood is echt van lage kwaliteit. Er worden enkel 2 cupjes koffie geleverd, advies om dit tenminste x2 te doen. De zitbank in de leefruimte is helemaal doorgezakt en daarom niet bruikbaar. Heel ongemakkelijk.

Wir haben mit unserem 11 jährigen Sohn eines der Appartements für 10 Tage bewohnt und sind rundum zufrieden mit der Wahl. Sehr großes, helles und gut ausgestattetes Apartment mit separatem Schlafzimmer für das Kind. Es wurde jeden Tag alles gereinigt, Küchenrolle, WC Papier, Handtücher für den Pool wurden bereit gestellt. Man hatte ein Hotelgefühl ohne in einem Hotel zu sein. Sehr gut gefallen hat uns das Frühstück, was jeden Tag genau nach Wunsch frisch vor die Tür gestellt wurde. So kann man sehr flexibel u ungestört frühstücken. Neben dem Jacuzzi u dem Pool auf dem Dach, war ein weiteres Highlight ein kleines aber gut ausgestattetes Fitnessstudio. Wir können alles uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen u würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Apartment was amazing: bright, clean, spacious. Breakfast items delivered outside the room each morning were high quality and complimentary. Excellent and timely communication was effortless using What’sApp. Staff were consummate professionals. Off street parking came with a remote to open the gate to the secure parking areas. Hot tub and accompanying saltwater infinity pool were on the roof.

Für 5 Personen ist die Wohnung gut geeignet. Frühstück war gut - immer alles dabei, frisch und lecker. Lage prima um die Insel zu erkunden, aber auch ein schöner Strand ganz nah. Supermarkt und Restaurant auch nur ein paar Minuten entfernt.

Die Fotos zeigen ein neu renoviertes Appartement, was es nicht mehr ist. Vor allem in den Bädern ist leichter renovierungsbedarf (Silikon und Dusche). Da hatten wir bei dem Preis einen besseren Zustand erwartet. Auch der Pool und Whirlpool auf den Fotos sehen besser aus (es roch dort auch etwas muffig).

Obiekt o bardzo wysokim standardzie. Gospodarze dbają o zadowolenie gości. Są bardzo elastyczni w spełnianiu życzeń i rozwiązywaniu problemów. Codziennie informacje o atrakcjach i możliwości zagospodarowania czasu. Śniadanie dostarczane do pokoju według złożonego zamówienia - obfite i wystarczające. W pokoju ekspres do kawy Nespresso i kilka bezpłatnych kapsułek.

Mooi ruim opgezet appartement met keuken en airco. Voldoende parkeergelegenheid, op loopafstand van het strand en dichtbij verschillende bezienswaardigheden. Heerlijk ontbijt!

Tolles Feriendomiziel. War alles so wie beschrieben. Leider waren die Fenster der Wohnung und die Scheiben vom Pool schmutzig.. Die Couch hazze Flecken. Das Frühstück war leider nicht sehr abwechslungsreich. Dennoch haben wir uns wohl gefühlt.
