It was beautiful, historical, well maintained and the proprietor was uber helpful and informative. The apt was well equipped, comfortable and theproperty was quiet and friendly and interesting.

Nos sentimos como en casa. Es muy bonito con su jardín con sus plataneros e higueras, cuyos frutos puedes provar, su piscina, su jacuzzi y la atención de los propietarios

Nada, solo por decir algo, que el sendero que rodea la propiedad está un poco salvaje, ja, ja

Sehr nette Gastgeberin, die uns Aktivitäten empfohlen hat und den Transport zum Flughafen organisiert hat. Der grosse Garten ist wunderschön und ruhig gelegen.

Die Lage ist super, um die Insel zu erkunden und die Anlage mit Pool und Bepflanzung lädt zum Entspannen ein. Check-In hat unkompliziert funktioniert und die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war sehr schnell und einfach.

Die Küche könnte etwas besser ausgestattet sein und wir waren etwas überrascht über die Schaben, die uns zu Beginn begrüßt haben und sich zwischendurch auch immer wieder mal blicken lassen haben. Das Haus ist eben sehr naturnah gelegen.

La amabilidad de Joao y Paula y el jardín precioso. el apartamento inicial era muy pequeño no estaba indicado que era una primera planta, pero al comentarlo con los dueños nos cambiaron a otro. Además limpiaban a diario y nos facilitaron todo lo que necesitábamos.

El vergel en el que se encuentran las casas tiene por contra un leve olor de humedad. Quizás también es incómodo transportar desde el coche maletas con ruedas porque es suelo es de piedras.

Tout était parfait ! La petite maison au milieu d'un parc et de jardins ! Le coin piscine, avec grand table ! Le fait detre pas loin des villes en voiture et à la fois d'être en pleine nature : top !!! L'endroit est bien plus beau en vrai qu'en photos !!!! Petit coin de paradis.

Le jacuzzi pourrait être un peu nettoyé :)

Prachtige locatie.

Bed was erg klein en matras best hard.

L’emplacement est idéal pour visiter l’ile. Le logement était spacieux et calme. Nos hôtes Paula et Joao ont été très accueillants et disponibles. Le jardin est immense et magnifique. Le jacuzzi et la piscine sont appréciables.

Le logement était très humide, avec une odeur persistante. Malheureusement c’est seulement le dernier jour que nous avons appris qu’on pouvait allumer la clim en mode « dry » pour améliorer la situation. L’équipement de la cuisine est vétuste.

Een oase van rust zodra je de poorten binnenkomt. Zeer aardige hosts die 24/7 voor je klaarstaan. De familie-accommodatie is geweldig. Grote privétuin, mooie slaapkamers en zéér luxueuze uitstraling (houten vloeren, dagelijkse schoonmaak). Ook het zwembad en de jacuzzi waren favoriet, en dan heb ik het nog niet eens over de hike die je kan maken op het eigen terrein..

Niets! Behalve dat we aan het eind van de week weg moesten, nadat ons verblijf tot een einde kwam.

Das Casa do Pupolu hat sehr freundliche hilfsbereite Betreiber. Die Wohnungen sind in einem wunderschönen Garten, der einem botanischen Garten ähnelt.

Die Küche hat keinen Herd, sondern nur zwei Elektroplatten. Wenn man täglich kocht, ist es eine Herausforderung. Für Frühstück ist es völlig ausreichend.

Der Standort war ok

Vroeg wakker door regen of volgens

The environment was wonderful and we felt like in the tropical forest instead of the city. Birds all around the place. It was a private location with a dedicated parking. We were receievd by the owner with very good attention and they were available for our needs. A bottle of wine was even waiting for us… plenty of recommendations on where to go during our stay. We really appreciated our stay in the place.

Humidity and smell was sometimes unpleasant even when the dehumidificator was running. An outside chair was broken and not so comfortable.

Lokalita nádherná v krásné přírodě, ticho, zpěv ptáků, každý den úklid a majitelé jsou naprosto úžasní lidé, ochotní, milí, přátelští.

Die Unterkunft liegt mitten in einem wunderschönen Garten. Die Gastgeber sind unheimlich nett und geben viele tolle Tipps für Wanderungen und Restaurants. Es war alles sehr sauber und gepflegt.

Literally everything, it is such an amazing hidden gem. The location is great, you have the beach at a quick walk from the house, nature everywhere surrounding you and full privacy. I particularly enjoyed walking through the little forest inside the property, and for any big nature lovers: this is your spot! Paula, the owner, is such a lovely and kind lady, open to help you anytime.

Nothing, I enjoyed everything!

Paula wohnt in der Anlage und hat immer ein offenes Ohr. Zufahrt zum Parkplatz der Anlage sehr schwer, es hat aber genug Parkmöglichkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe. Sehr gutes Frühstückscafe und kleiner Supermarkt in wenigen Gehminuten erreichbar. Die Lage ist sehr gut mitten auf der Insel und nicht weit in die Stadt. Sehr große Wohnung und super Garten. Unser Sohn liebte es alleine in der großen Anlage auf Abenteuertour zu gehen.

Leider gab es am ersten Tag Probleme mit unserem Frühstück. Kam viel zu spät erst nach nachfragen und uns wurde dann ein Liebloser Einkauf auf den Tisch geknallt. Das hätten wir auch selber geschafft. Wir haben daraufhin das Frühstück abbestellt und Paula hat uns den Betrag erlassen. Man ist sehr bemüht den Schimmel im Zaun zu halten, der auf der doch feuchten Insel häufig vorkommt. Öberflächlig ist mir keiner aufgefallen, aber es roch etwas modrig. Ein Fenster im Bad lässt sich nicht mehr schließen, da ein Baum hineinwächst. Bei 16 Grad wünschte ich mir dieses wenigstens bis ich fertig mit Duschen bin zuzumachen.

Der Garten.

Apartment 6 war nicht bewohnbar. Die Fotos vermitteln einen vollkommen falschen Eindruck. Wir sind bei Regenwetter angereist. Wohnung war grundsätzlich feucht. Bettwäsche vollkommen klamm. Extrem unangenehmer Geruch im Bad. Durch das Fenster kam bereits der Farn gewachsen. Küchenausstattung ein schlechter Scherz. 1 winziger Topf. Auch hier selbst aus den Schubladen extremer Feuchtigkeitsgeruch. Tür des Kamins (Holz) derart wackelig. Daher neben dem Feuchtigkeitsgeruch extremer Rauchgeruch. Wir haben uns direkt wieder für die Abreise entschieden. Vermieter reagierte zunächst überhaupt nicht auf unsere Nachrichten. Erst als wir Booking eingeschaltet haben, bekamen wir unsere Rückerstattung. Schlechteste Urlaubserfahrung meines bisherigen Lebens.

Very comfortable and clean stay. The location was perfect for exploring the island, and the hosts were friendly. There was also a beautiful sunset spot just 5 minutes from the house that we enjoyed almost every evening without seeing another person around :) The washing machine, dishwasher, and bathtub were a great bonus and made the stay especially comfortable. The welcome gifts were also a lovely touch and much appreciated. Thank you for your house!

Nothing major to complain about. It was a great experience.

Ενας παράδεισος ! Πολύ όμορφο μέρος ίσως πιο όμορφο και απο τις φωτογραφίες , καθημερινή καθαριότητα . Το προσωπικό φιλικό και πολύ πρόθυμο . ο κήπος κατι που δε συναντάς συχνά Συμβουλές για τα αξιοθέατα και ένας χάρτης που σε βοηθά να δείς το νησί σαν λόκαλ Θα ξαναπήγαινά !

We were greeted by a cockroach in the bedroom on day one The jacuzzi needs cleaning urgently On booking.com they advertise their airport transfer for 20 euros, however we were charged 30 euros Bed sheets weren’t changed during our one week stay On Sunday we ran out of toilet paper, but couldn’t get any since “they were off on Sunday”. They suggested we drive to a supermarket to purchase some!

Bon rapport qualité prix! Très bien situé, à quelques minutes à pied d'une épicerie! Tout ce qu'il faut à l'intérieur pour cuisiner! Magnifique jardin et boisé!

Remplacer le rideau de douche pour éviter que l'eau n'envahisse le plancher de la salle de bain. Autrement, tout était parfait!

Localização e beleza do espaço envolvente

Lage hervorragend, Ausstattung super und die eigene Anlage einfach traumhaft! Sofort auf der Insel wohlgefühlt.

Leider ist und bleibt alles recht feucht. Dafür können die Gastgebenden natürlich nichts, sollte einem aber dennoch bewusst sein.

Great location, close to the sea. Lots of space to roam around. Loved the jacuzzi, the bbq spot, table tennis, pool, lookouts... and the friemdly hosts!

Very very kind people. Its like staying with someone from family. We had to rush to hospital and we left our son alone ... they took care of him. They also accommodated us very well while checking out.

Since you stay practically inside a forest you might find some small insects around (which can scare some ppl)

The experience exceeded our expectations. Wonderful garden, warm jacuzzi in nature under the night sky and very welcoming host - everything was just excellent.

Espaço exterior

Bon emplacement à proximité de tout. Cadre excellent avec un très beau jardin. Habitation très confortable, tout ce dont vous avez besoin. Je recommande !

Blízko centra, uprostřed zahrady, ubytování jako na chatě v lese. Snídaně byly dostačující. Denně čerstvě pečivo a každý den trochu změna ve snídani.

Je potřeba počítat, že je ubytování vlhké, jelikož je v džungli, ale když pravidelně topíte, už vám to tak nepřijde. Dřevo je možné získat denně.

Beautiful property with so many lovely shared spaces to explore and enjoy. We particularly enjoyed the walking trails, hot tub, and common room. Paula was very friendly and gave us great recommendations.

The room was quite damp in January, but the heater and fire helped

The grounds were amazing. Small trail on property. A hot tub! Smvery quiet. So many restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. As well as scenic destinations, safe and beautiful areas. Besch is so close. Easy to use bolt to get to different areas as well.

Wish I could have stayed longer 😪

Eine Unterkunft wie im Paradies. Die Umgebung ist sehr sehr schön und unsere Casa war auch sehr gemütlich. Es war alles vorhanden was man braucht. Das Team war jederzeit erreichbar und sehr darauf bedacht, uns einen schönen Aufenthalt zu garantieren. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

We went to the Azores with my son for Christmas. We chose the accommodation at random. When we arrived, we were completely blown away — what we saw was not what we expected at all. There was a huge garden, and a little house tucked inside it. Paula explained everything to us within minutes, and then she really took care of us: she walked us through what to see on the island, where to go, and what to watch out for. The map she annotated with her own notes was epic. The house has everything you need, and anything you don’t find inside is available in the common room. We had absolutely everything — even the right kitchenware for a traditional Christmas Eve dinner, which isn’t exactly easy to pull off the Czech way. A big thank you!

Le confort de l’appartement #5 était l’idéal pour notre famille. Nous y avons passer plusieurs nuits. Nous avons très bien dormi dans cet appartement spacieux et lumineux. La cuisine est bien équipée, les chambres sont confortable avec un système de chauffage qui rend les nuits fraîches confortable. Le pois à bois est super efficace et garde le salon et la salle à manger au chaud. Le jacuzzi avant d’aller au lit était le summum pour nous!!! Paula et Joâo sont d’extraordinaire hôtes d’une très grande gentillesse.

Seulement l’odeur d’humidité dans l’appartement a l’arrivé , ce qui est inévitable vu les type de construction. Le reste était parfait!!!

My husband and one year old baby stayed here and we loved our experience! A crib was set up for the baby and a high chair and baby tub were also provided. Parking was easy on site and we loved the walking trails. The staff was so friendly and Paula had great recommendations. The amenities were also great- the pool, jacuzzi and wine cellar all were clean.

Given the location it makes sense there would be bugs, didn’t love to see them in the room but again the staff was super attentive and helped clean them up.

Klasyczny dom tak aby poczuć lepiej atmosferę samej wyspy. Przepiękny ogród. Żałujemy, że nie nie mieliśmy na tyle czasu aby skorzystać z jacuzzi i basenu. Darmowe miejsca parkingowe przy samym domu. Przesympatyczni i pomocni gospodarze.

La cuisine n'est pas vraiment grande mais c'est ok pour faire des petits repas simple...

Nos ha gustado mucho el alojamiento. El jardín es muy bonito y está muy bien cuidado. El alojamiento estaba muy bien, era espacioso y bien decorado.

El jacuzzi estaba en reparación, por lo que no pudimos disfrutar de ello. Por lo demás, no tenemos ninguna pega.

Very kind, caring, cordial and friendly hosts. We would definitely go back there anytime. The cleaning staff were also so thoughtful, mindful and took care of making our beds everyday. It felt very warm and welcome coming back to a place that felt restful and beautiful

The wonderful scent was the first thing we noticed. The peace and quiet was also appreciated.

The only thing missing was a bottle of water for the first night. We had forgotten to buy some and it would have been a nice touch. Our bed was also too soft, but maybe that’s because we both have bad backs and at home, have a firm mattress.

What a gem of a place! We loved our little cottage - rustic from the outside, yet spacious with all the modern conveniences we needed inside. The bed was very comfortable, living room had a comfortable couch and swinging chair, kitchen had everything we needed including microwave, portable cooktop, toaster and coffee maker. All of the staff were friendly, but we especially loved Bea who gave us such a warm welcome and orientation. We felt like we were the only ones staying there as there are so many places to relax and explore! There are winding paths to wander, filled with flowers and fruit trees, and the beautiful scent of Eucalyptus . We enjoyed the pool and hot tub, as well as the "wine cellar" building where you can make a coffee or tea, play ping pong, or just relax. This was such a lovely oasis close to restaurants, cafes, the ocean, and the city centre. We will be back!

Les proprios et la femme de chambre étaient adorables. Ils nous ont fait une petite présentation des choses à voir sur l’île c’était très utile. Grand appartement et superbe terrain à l’arrière plein d’arbres fruitiers. Nous n’avions jamais mangé une figue fraîchement cueillie par nous même !

La douche était vraiment ordinaire. Un petit carré qui arrose partout avec une douchette qui ne tient pas sur le rail. Ça sent un peu l’humidité dans l’appartement mais ça semble être commun aux Açores

A estadia na Casa do Pópulo superou as expectativas. A localização é excelente, numa zona tranquila e a poucos minutos da praia, permitindo-nos aproveitar tanto o descanso como os passeios pela ilha. A casa estava impecavelmente limpa, bem cuidada e equipada com tudo o que é necessário para uma estadia confortável. Destaco também a simpatia e disponibilidade no acolhimento, que nos fez sentir verdadeiramente bem-vindos. Notou-se atenção aos detalhes e preocupação com o bem-estar dos hóspedes. Foi uma experiência muito positiva e sem dúvidas um alojamento que recomendo e onde vou regressar.

Un petit coin de paradis au milieu d’une végétation luxuriante! Tout est absolument parfait ici pour une pause détente réussie: un appartement bien équipé et assez grand pour 2 personnes (suite 2), un immense jardin d’où démarre une jolie ballade dans la nature, un j’accueillisse et une piscine idéals pour terminer la journée, et enfin un accueil parfait de la part de Joao et Laura qui sont d’une gentillesse incroyable. Mille mercis pour ce séjour 🙏 !
