The room/bed was comfortable enough. I thought we wouldn't have the room cleaned during our stay because they said they only clean it every 3rd day of our stay but we had someone come in and change the towels, make the bed, etc.

The hotel itself is quite outdated. The carpets in the hallway have old bleach stains on them. The shower caulking could be refreshed, it seemed like there was some mold growing. The room itself had a musty smell when walking in.

Location quite far from stores, but near Toronto.

2nd night, was not ablento sleep because someone was smoking marijuana. Carpet need to be reolaced.

The cleanliness was horrendous. The carpets are actually disgusting in this facility, bleach stains everywhere, hair everywhere. The wallpaper was falling off the walls, the smell in the halls was awful. One area the carpet was soaking wet. The walls were in horrible repair. The staff had so much junk in all hallways, extra carts, bags of laundry and garbage. Their organization for the cleaning was chaotic. The pool area had rusted out 4 chairs. Was just ready to leave

The pool smelll of chlorine hits you as soon as you walk in the front door. You have to go through the laundry area to access the pool area. The hotel itself is in desperate need of repair. Stair railing were rotting, chairs were rotting or missing legs, lounges and chairs in pool area were literally falling apart. They serve no breakfast of any sort. Our group had rooms that the furniture was falling apart.

The housekeeping staff we spoke to were friendly and helpful.

The crawling bugs in the room and the hallways. The dark dimly lit hallways. The indifference of the staff at the desk. The mysterious stains on the carpets and walls. The one desk staff who finished serving a customer and then told me, next in line and the customers after me, that 'my colleague will serve you' - ie. three sets of customers waiting to be served by the one desk staff while the other one(manger?) fiddled at his computer. The staff smoking in the parking lot outside our windows. The unlocked back doors - unlocked all day/night = no hotel key needed to enter the property from back. The non-accessible doors between hallways - ie. no wheelchair access/button/no easy way to open door when carrying luggage to/from room.

Expérience très décevante en raison d'un problème d'humidité majeur. La chambre, pourtant rénovée très récemment et propre dans l'ensemble, se situait au niveau -1, sur le même palier que la piscine. L'air y était particulièrement lourd et moite, la fenêtre ne s'ouvrait pas (et présentait des toiles d'araignée), et la moquette tout comme la literie restaient humides au toucher. Nous avons dû allumer le chauffage au maximum en plein été pour atténuer cette sensation de froid. Nous avons demandé à changer de chambre, dans l'espoir que les étages soient moins humides, mais l'hôtel était complet. De plus, un parfum d'intérieur très puissant était diffusé du lobby jusqu'à la chambre pour tenter de masquer l'odeur de renfermé. Après deux nuits, cette odeur s'était intégralement imprégnée dans nos vêtements et nos cheveux.

It has an amazing location and close to everywhere we needed to be for our trip.

When you first walk in the lobby the strong wave of pool chemicals hits you. Next the front desk staff meet you to check you in but never smile. They act like a question is beyond they work assignment to answer. To get to higher number "second floor " room (which is really the main level), you need to go through a maze of doors which is very hard with the luggage cart. The rooms smelled of stale smoke even in a non smoking hotel. The bathroom vanity was damaged and looked unsafe. Not enough towels. The pool area was very inconvenient to get to as you has to go through an active housekeeping department to get to the pool. The washrooms at the pool were rotted (the metal was literally falling off the surfaces) disgustingly painted to attempt to clean things up, broken pool furniture so no places for guests to sit comfortably and never any pool towels. Staff would get upset if you asked for some more for the pool area.

They are absolutely cheaters, keeping 100 security deposit while it's not mentioned earlier. At reception they said refund will be made in 24 hours after check out, tgan 3 to 5 working days! And now criminal negligence, no reply.

The pillows were too light. We extended our stay by an extra day and moved to a king room however it took time for them to allow us check-in . Reasons was that they were cleaning the room. At the time we now checked into the new king room the toilet wasn’t washed properly.

The place was dirty, noisy , unsecured, smelled of mold, outdated. Dark and felt like a dungeon. Not sure if booking through 3rd party ment you got the bait and switch treatment.

Hotel is very tired; in high need of an update. Carpets on the 2nd floor are stained with bleach spots. Carpet in our room was cut and replaced, poorly, in one area. Wallpaper in bathroom is peeling off.

The front desk attendants were very friendly.

Both times we went to the pool there were no towels out. We had to goto the front desk to get them to put more out. When they did they only put two out, one for me and one for my husband!

Poor customer service

I drove eight hours from Sault Ste. Marie to Toronto only to discover my reservation had been cancelled because my credit card expiry date was incorrect. A simple phone call could have resolved the issue before my arrival, but instead the hotel only sent an email, which I could not legally read while driving. When I arrived, the manager was unapologetic, unprofessional, and made no effort to help me find alternative accommodations. With nowhere else to stay on a long weekend, I was forced to sleep in my car. This was an extremely stressful experience and the worst customer service I have received.

The hotel had my proper credit card number but the date was wrong. I don’t know how this happened as k stayed at the same hotel the week before. All the hotel had to do is call me and I could’ve easily gave the proper updates information. But I was told an email was sent to me. How am I supposed to know about an email when I am driving to my destination. The hotel manager was unapologetic and unsympathetic towards my situation and very unprofessional. Very disappointing customer service. It is illegal to read emails white you’re driving. By the time I got to Toronto, I found out my room was cancelled. I was in distraught and I had no where else to stay because of the long weekend. No one, not the manager at the hotel or Joshua at booking.com was willing to help me find another place to stay. Because there was not even a phone call made to me before canceling my hotel, this is very unprofessional, bad business and very disappointing. I am 100% unsatisfied with this entire ordeal. There was a mouse in lobby ( guess lady’s washroom) I complained about this to receptionist but no apology or feedback… all the washrooms are not clean ( specially pool area is very dirty and washrooms doors can’t open) taps are broken. Carpets are too old. After seen mouse in lobby washroom, I’m not trusting the cleanliness of the motel. 0 rating. No breakfast ( it was written in website) non refundable( not worth what I spent, if I could refund, will do definitely) my family spent three nights, we did laundry, washer was too old and my branded clothes got stains and had to throw garbage. Tommy Hilfiger, American Eagle and two CK ( white cotton) T-shirts in wasted and two socks were missing at laundry. ( we weren’t in laundry area when dryer done unfortunately) Overall terrible experience and awful

The smell was horrible. The hallways and room smelled like the last people staying in it, hadn't showered in a while, and were still in bed! Bedding smelt like it hadn't been changed between people. (I always bring my own pillow and blanket for this exact reason. I'm not sure why hotels think it's ok not to change the sheets between people, but I've had it happen before in other cities) The sauna had been closed permanently but still shows available on the list of amenities and at that time I had just had surgery and wasn't allowed in the pool so I was looking forward to the sauna they said they had until we signed in. The shower was dirty and the door didn't close properly. The mini fridge did not keep our food cold, and we ended up throwing out our leftovers and fruits we brought for snacks The wallpaper in the room was peeling off the walls in some spots. Carpets felt disgusting, so we ended up wearing our shoes in the room just to feel clean. The outside of the building looks nothing like the pictures online. It may be getting a face lift, but it looked nice online, and in person, it gave me "oh we gunna die here" vibes There was construction on the neighboring building that woke us up at 630am with trucks and machines starting up Black out curtains are about 6 inches from the window, so the sunlight comes in and lights the whole room up. Overall, the stay was safe but not clean.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The check in/out procedures were quick and easy. The restaurant in the hotel was very convenient and delicious. It is just far enough outside of Toronto that we didn't experience any heavy traffic and it was easy to access off the expressway.

The building itself needs updating; there were several doors to navigate through hallways which is difficult when carrying luggage. There was water damage in the ceiling, carpeting should be replaced, etc.

The facility is extremely aged and worn out. Pool area is full of rust and unattractive

Unfortunately, my stay did not live up to expectations. The rooms lack proper soundproofing, as I could easily hear noise from the neighboring room, and the air conditioning unit was disruptively loud. Cleanliness was a major issue—both the bedroom and corridor carpets were badly stained and had a noticeable odor. Additionally, breakfast was overpriced for the quality and quantity provided, and the service was consistently slow. Overall, the property felt more like a budget 1-star motel than its actual rating.

It’s a clean, quiet hotel. Stayed 2 nights - a Sat and Sun. Great water pressure in the shower, bed was like sleeping in a cloud. Very quiet. Not fancy, but perfect for what I needed. Front desk and housekeeping staff all very friendly and warm. Highly recommended.

Checked in late in the evening with a very poor and in customer friendly sign in Not what the pictures show on the website In the am, I told the front desk that the shower was not cleaned with the previous customer bath accessories - no response or reaction?! On my last night I came in around 11:30 pm, no acknowledgment or greeting by the front desk agent ?? He was busy face down ? I left again for an hour and returned - SAME reaction ?? Absolutely not worth 1/2 the value being charged York police always touring and monitoring the premises ? Unsafe and uncomfortable Days inn and customer service do not match Very disappointing!!

The room was pretty decent but parking was unacceptable. You can’t even get a parking spot yet you paid for a room.

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. The staff attitude was extremely rude and unfriendly. I felt disrespected and looked down upon, especially because I do not speak English very well. Instead of being patient and helpful, the staff made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. The cleanliness of the hotel was also unacceptable. The room had a bad smell, and the hygiene standards were very poor. This is not the level of service I expected from a hotel. I would not recommend this place to others unless the management improves both customer service and cleanliness.

Location is great, near the highway, eateries and Longo’s. Lobby was pretty. The person who checked me in was very professional. Like me, he was southeast Asian although from a different country. You can tell he’s been in hospitality for a while. The pool and hot tub were the highlight. Restaurant next door has a varied menu and reasonable prices.

There was a bad smell entering the room. I think they need to change the carpet. Room 214 I believe. You couldn’t smell it inside the room. The whirlpool was not that clean my 2nd day, Sunday. There were a lot of little things in the water. They should get a net and clean it every Sunday morning.

this is the worse hotel I have ever been to in toronto. The sheet and cover are dirty and didn't feel like they changed. Dont recommend anyone stay there. By the way. I was check in before 3 pm and find out what happen before 3pm,and like to cancel the order they tell me to call booking to get refund. But so far I didn't got anything back. Didn't even stay in the room even after they try to change a room to us. It is totally unacceptable. And why I should pay something I didn't use. And booking website is really bad when you need refund or something when you really need.
