Great property and location, walking distance to the centre. Huge room and lovely outdoor seating area. The staff were very kind and helpful. Great breakfast. Highly recommend doing the safari arranged by the owner. Mosquito nets provided.

The toilet needs a bit of a refurb but it’s such a great price you can understand.

все было чудесно. расположение отличное - очень быстро можно дойти до ресторанчиков, рядом есть магазин, где можно купить воду, Львиная скала (Сигирия) и Пидарангула находятся довольно близко. по совету хозяина Ситхи мы доехали в 04:30 до Пидарангулы на тук-туке и встретили невероятный рассвет на вершине, где насладились прекрасным видом и сделали крутые фотки😁 обратно шли пешком, путь занял 47 минут до дома, что очень круто. само место хорошее, хозяева чудесные. все удобства нам были предоставлены, есть некоторые косметические аспекты, но они совершенно не повлияли на наше впечатление как о Сигири Корридор, так и о самой Сигирие. нам отвечали на вопросы и советовали наилучшие варианты. моя самая любимая часть - завтрак от жены Ситхи. как это это было прекрасно, невероятно вкусные блюда местной кухни. я действительно буду скучать по блинам с кокосовой начинкой. еще мы очень благодарны хозяину за его дружелюбие и искреннее желание помочь. мы решили не ехать на автобусе до Канди, так как нужно было делать пересадку, что не очень удобно с учетом наличия сумок , поэтому обратились за помощью к Ситхи. за доп. плату, которая не отличалась от цен на такси он довез нас до следующего места пребывания, сделав остановку в 3 прекрасных местах. если бы мы поехали на автобусе, то явно туда не попали бы. я очень благодарна, что не было навязывания услуг, а человек действительно хотел сделать наш отдых более запоминающимся и комфортным. мы очень довольны нашим пребыванием в Сигирии и с теплотой будем вспоминать эти дни☺️

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Una experiencia maravillosa de principio a fin. La familia que lleva el hotel es encantadora y desde el primer momento me hicieron sentir como en casa. Viajaba sola y estuvieron pendientes de mí en todo momento, siempre con muchísima amabilidad y cercanía. Además, me ayudaron a organizar el safari de elefantes y se encargaron de que todo fuera fácil y especial. El hotel está impecable, es cómodo y está muy bien situado. Me voy con un recuerdo precioso, no solo por el lugar, sino sobre todo por el trato recibido. Sin duda, repetiría y lo recomiendo muchísimo. ❤️

We had a wonderful stay in Sigiriya thanks to Sithi and his lovely wife, who were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. They made us feel at home and were always happy to assist with anything we needed. Our room was clean, tidy, and comfortable, and everything was well taken care of. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and definitely one of the highlights of our stay. We truly enjoyed our time here and would happily recommend this place to anyone visiting Sigiriya. Sithi und seine Familie sind super gastfreundlich! Wir hatten eine sehr gute Zeit und haben sehr viel zusammen gelacht! 😁 Sithi hat uns super viele Aktivitäten organisiert, so dass wir uns um nichts kümmern mussten. Das hat unseren Aufenthalt auch zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis gemacht! Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen! Zum Frühstück gab es echtes srilankanisches Essen. Sithi hat uns auch viel über Sri Lanka und sein Leben erzählt und war super offen! Auch die Lage der Unterkunft war top! Wir können den anderen Bewertungen nur zustimmen: „Einmal Sithi, immer Sithi!“ Bitte bucht alle bei ihm!!!

Si occupa personalmente dell'organizzazione di qualsiasi esigenza: ​Trasporti e spostamenti: dal pick-up in aeroporto con la sua auto spaziosa, ai tragitti per Sigiriya con il suo tuk-tuk personale, fino ai safari in jeep. ​Attività ed esperienze: organizza direttamente per gli ospiti attività presso altre strutture, come masterclass di cucina locale e massaggi ayurvedici. ​Un supporto davvero a 360° per esplorare la zona di Sigiriya e non solo. Consigliatissimo!

Het is heel gezellig, kleinschalig en persoonlijk om bij dit gezin te verblijven. Ze regelen alles voor je. We hebben een safari met ze gedaan en de eigenaar adviseerde een Ayurvedische massage. Erg goed!

Super étape à Sigiriya dans cette gest house d'un rapport qualité prix imbattable. Nous avons passé 4 nuits dans la chambre familiale qui est très grande. Elle est parfaitement propre, climatisée, les lits sont confortables et malgré les 3 grands lits, il reste de la place pour circuler et avoir les valises ouvertes à côté des lits. Devant la chambre, une petite terrasse avec une table pour prendre de délicieux et copieux petits déjeuner au son des oiseaux et des petits écureuils. Et la famille qui vous reçoit est tellement gentille et attentionnée. Un vrai plaisir. Merci de vous être adaptés au goût de nos enfants pour le petit déjeuner. À deux minutes de marche, vous trouverez quelques restaurants et une toute petite épicerie. Tout était parfait! Bonne continuation à vous !

Our host sithi was amazing. He drove us around to dambulla to see the rock temple and then dropped us at the lion rock post lunch. He is super polite and also helped me catch an early morning flight from Colombo (we left at 4:45 AM) after the airline switched me to a different flight. The area for this property is remote but it's super peaceful and close to the lion rock.

The area is deserted after sundown with a small stretch of cafes and shops. It's not the properties fault, jut something to keep in mind. You should either have your own transport or be okay to walk on small deserted stretches of roads. Though I never felt unsafe in any way.

Остановиться в этом месте было лучшим выбором. Дружелюбнее хозяев просто не найти. Хозяйка готовила очень вкусные традиционные завтраки (разнообразные и сытные, уверена что такие на острове найти будет трудно), а хозяин Sithija помогал нам абсолютно во всем: организовал два трансфера: от предыдущего отеля к нему и от него до следующего. Организовал потрясающую насыщенную программу на все три дня: кулинарный мастер-класс шри-ланкийской кухни, сафари со слонами, восхождение на местную гору, мастер-класс резьбы по дереву, посещение храма и даже отвез в местный аюрведический центр на массаж. Он даже заказывал нам тук-тук, так что и об этом беспокоиться не нужно было. И останавливался по моей просьбе у фруктовой лавки по пути:) Я не ожидала такой заботы и участия со стороны хозяина, это было очень и очень приятно. Большое спасибо хозяевам за такой теплый прием, мне бы точно хотелось вернуться однажды.

Sithi heeft ons met heel veel geholpen. Hij heeft ons opgehaald in Anuradhapura en geregeld dat een vriend van hem ons naar Nuwara Eliya bracht (met tussenstop bij een theeplantage). Daarnaast heeft hij ons ook geholpen toen onze kookcursus last minute werd gecanceld en een tuktuk naar de Pidurangala Rock geregeld in de vroege ochtend. De kamer was ruim en voorzien was alles wat je nodig hebt. Het ontbijt was heerlijk! Op de momenten dat we bij de homestay buiten waren, kwam het zoontje van Sithi graag met ons praten, een spelletje spelen (pas op: hij speelt vals), draken tekenen en verzorgde hij zelfs een vogelsafari in de tuin. Al met al hebben wij een top verblijf gehad bij Sithi en zijn gezin!

Un accueil chaleureux et un petit-déjeuner délicieux. Sithi s'est par ailleurs proposé pour nous emmener visiter la région (Sigiriya, Polonnaruva) et nous a ensuite ramenées à Kandy en faisant quelques arrêts touristiques en chemin. Je recommande !

Nous avons passé un merveilleux sejour à Sigiriya et c'est en grande partie grâce à Sithi et sa femme. Le logement était spacieux et propre. Proche des commodités et activités. Sithi a été un guide hors pair, et nous a transporté en voiture ou tuk tuk quand nous en avons eu besoin. Il a aussi été adorable avec nos 3 enfants. Sa femme nous a préparé de délicieux petits déjeuners, très copieux et différents chaque matin. Nous recommandons +++ le Sigiri corridor home stay

Sithi is erg behulpzaam. Alles is te regelen, hij heeft een groot netwerk en loste vervoersproblemen voor ons op. Ook een goede guide en relaxed. Weet veel te vertellen. Gepassioneerd man met erg aardige vrouw die mooie ontbijtjes klaarmaakt. Hurulu eco park tour gemaakt met zijn neef. Aanrader! En ook de Ayuvedische massage en de cooking class was heel goed!!!

Fantastisch verblijf op een toplocatie! De eigenaar doet ook heel wat suggesties voor activiteiten zonder ze op te dringen en zorgt dat alles perfect geregeld is. Ik had een geweldig verblijf!

Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber, die auch Transfers und Ausflüge gerne organisieren. Die Unterkunft ist einfach, aber sauber. Gute Lage, alles in der Nähe (Shops, Restaurants, Lion's Rock). Frühstück war ausgezeichnet!

I think what made our stay extraordinary was the homemade breakfast. Freshly prepared by the owner every morning, we had the chance to try the local tastes, which were so delicious. The hosts were super nice. The room was spacious.

The room could have been slightly cleaner.

We spent a few days here at the start of our Sri Lanka trip and Sithi made us feel so welcome and helped us in every way possible with activities and transport. He has a lovely home and his whole family were very friendly and kind. Would definitely recommend and don’t worry about booking activities Sithi has you covered!

Sithi & Maesha are such amazing people. They are so kind & helpful, just perfect for your first stop in Sri Lanka, Sithi made you feel so welcome & comfortable, sorting out transfers, tours for us. Honestly, do the cooking class that was amazing! Also the safari was good fun and he drops you to the rock too! He sorted everything for us & gave us food recommendations and just an all round nice guy! His wife Maesha makes such incredible breakfasts!

We loved everything - maybe a small thing add a little lamp to the room as the only light is the big one, only a small thing it doesn’t matter that there isn’t one, you’re not in the room much

This property is perfectly located for exploring the nearby attractions, making it an ideal base for our trip. Sithi and his wife were truly exceptional hosts—warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. As many other guests have mentioned, the breakfast was absolutely wonderful, with a great variety and delicious flavors. Sithi went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly for us. He kindly arranged airport pickup, organised our transfer to Nuwara Eliya, and helped coordinate activities and tuk-tuks throughout our stay, which made the whole experience completely stress-free. The value for money was outstanding, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommended!

Tout. Accueil très sympathique. Le propriétaire et sa femme sont adorables et en plus ils nous ont conseillé des activités. Ils ont aussi arrangé nos transports. La chambre était hyper spacieuse, grande douche, lits confortables avec des moustiquaires. Petit dej très bon et copieux. En plus les deux petits déjeuners étaient s différents et typiques. Tout ça avec le sourire et on a pu beaucoup échanger avec les propriétaires.

Absolument tout ! L’accueil, la situation, la gentillesse des propriétaires, la chambre et le petit déjeuner divinement bon. Nous n’avons malheureusement pas pu faire le safari avec nos hôtes mais nous aurions adoré.

Der Host Sithi war super nett und hilfsbereit. Er hat schon vor dem Aufenthalt gefragt ob wir Hilfe bei der Anreise brauchen und hat uns einen Transfer von Negombo nach Sigiriya organisiert. Vor Ort fühlt man sich sehr willkommen und man bekommt viele Angebote für Aktivitäten vor Ort. Die Safari und der Pidurangala Rock waren ein absoluter Highlight.

Lo mejor de todo fue sin duda la amabilidad de los anfitriones, una pareja muy atenta y educada que se encargó de que estuviésemos a gusto. Nos sentimos tan bien que nos quedamos dos días en lugar de uno como teníamos pensado. Respecto al desayuno, comida típica del lugar muy rica y en muy buen estado. Lugar limpio, con con mosquitera en la cama y con aire acondicionado. Muy recomendable.

Las camas incomodísimas y el aire acondicionado no funciona correctamente. No hay recepción ni nada donde poder dirigirte, si sales de la habitación la parte de atrás y laterales da la sensación que estás en un lugar abandonado y dejado.

Sithi and his wife were very kind and super helpful in every aspect of the stay in Sigiriya. The breakfast -especially coconut pancakes- was delicious and enough. I recommend staying in their homestay without hesitation to everyone!

El baño era complicado de utilizar, la ducha no funcionaba muy bien y al no tener mampara era muy sucio. El aire acondicionado no funcionaba bien y si se iba la luz pitaba y no te dejaba descansar.

Der Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel war einfach großartig! Die Beschreibung entspricht vollkommen der Realität. Wir wohnten in einem riesigen Zimmer mit drei großen Doppelbetten. Das Zimmer ist sehr schlicht eingerichtet, aber äußerst sauber und gepflegt. Besonders praktisch: Es gibt zwei Duschen zur Auswahl – eine mit lauwarmem Wasser (wie überall in Sri Lanka) und eine mit Warmwasser. Die Klimaanlage funktioniert hervorragend und kühlt das Zimmer optimal. Die Frühstücke waren fantastisch! Wir konnten viele nationale Gerichte probieren – alles war unglaublich lecker. Besonders die Pfannkuchen mit Kokosfüllung waren unvergesslich. Die Lage des Hotels ist ebenfalls perfekt: nur wenige Gehminuten von der Hauptstraße entfernt, wo es viele gute Restaurants und zwei Cafés mit ausgezeichnetem Kaffee gibt. Zur berühmten Lion Rock sind es nur ca. 1,3 km, die man bequem mit einem Tuk-Tuk zurücklegen kann. Ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt – absolut empfehlenswert!

Kleines Home-Stay mit 3 Zimmern (einfach aber sauber, am 3. Tag wurde nochmal komplett gereinigt, Klima und WLAN prima) in guter Lage in Sigirya und unglaublich herzlichen Vermietern und dem besten traditionellen Frühstück, das wir auf Sri Lanka bekommen haben - immer abwechslungsreich, home-made und mit gutem Tee zur gewünschten Uhrzeit. Auch ein Nachmittag auf der Terrasse ist entspannt und mit der Beobachtung von Affen, Streifenhörnchen und allerlei Vögeln ein Erlebnis für sich. Sithi hat für uns alles organisiert: von der Safari in Minneriya, über Tuk-Tuk zum Pidurangala, Dambulla, Pollonaruwa, Herbal Garden, Village-Tour in Hiriwadunna, Karten für die Perahera in Kandy und allen Fahrten, die wir in 3 Wochen Sri Lanka benötigt haben (Sithi hat einen Jeep, ein Auto und Tuk-Tuk). Immer entspannt, immer genau wie gewünscht, pünktlich und zu fairen Preisen! Sithi hat uns auch viele Einblicke und Informationen über das Leben in Sri Lanka gegeben und die Fahrten mit ihm waren immer unterhaltsam und kurzweilig! Er hat unsere Ferien zu einem unkomplizierten Erlebnis gemacht und durch seine kommunikative, fröhliche Art bereichert! Vielen Dank!

Ein schönes, kleines Guest House mit einer schönen Lage, von der man aus zu Fuß zum Sigirya Rock laufen kann. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und bemüht. Es gab jeden Tag ein traditionelles, abwechslungsreiches Frühstück auf der Terrasse.

Großes Zimmer mit viel Platz. Viele Geschäfte und Lokale sind ganz in der Nähe. Sogar im Nachbargarten war ein kleines Geschäft, so dass man sich gut mit Snacks versorgen konnte.

Dunkles Zimmer und kein schöner Bereich um sich draußen aufzuhalten. Wir waren nur auf der Durchreise und sind nur eine Nacht geblieben. Für mehrere Nächte hätte es für unsere Familie nicht gepasst.

Sigiri Home Stay is perfect to discover Sigirîya in the most authentic way. The location is very close from important sites to discover, it’s quiet in the night but you can easily reach restaurants and the lake by walk 👌 The room was very clean and the breakfast very generous and tasty with various things. Sithi our host, made everything possible to make our organisation easy and fluid, and he knows very well what to do and where to do it to enjoy Sigirîya in the better way. He organised with us activities for good prices, and our transfer from a place to another, and gave us so many precious advices ! Thank you for welcoming us at home 🥰 I recommend 100% this place if you are coming to Sigirîya !
