Prive zwembadje en heel afgesloten gevoel alsof je afgesloten zit en ver van de stad maar alles is heel dichtbij. Ook de eigenaar is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ook groot lekker ontbijt.

El entorno es bonito y para pasar 1-2 noches está bien. El desayuno rico. Pero tampoco te esperes lo que viene en las imágenes. La piscina hace el apaño para refrescarte. Está andando a 5-10min de la carretera principal pero la zona es peligrosa por los animales y hay que ir en algún transporte

Keurig, ruim en schoon verblijf met een mooi zwembad! Zeer vriendelijke eigenaar en vroeg altijd of we nog iets nodig hadden. Groot en lekker ontbijt ook!

Het interieur was heel wit, en het kussen een beetje hard, maar ach, waar klaag je over… En het ontbijt was bijna elke dag hetzelfde, dat mag wat meer variatie hebben.

The owner is a lovely man who can help you with all your arrangements for visiting different places of interest in the area, everything was made so easy for us. The pool was great for cooling off, just what you need after a day in the heat. The area was lovely and quiet, set back from the Main Street but only a five minute walk to all the restaurants. The room was very clean and well kept. We had a great time here

Super netter Host! Schönes kleines Hotel mit zwei kleinen Pools. Frühstück direkt vor der Zimmertür auf seiner eigenen Terrasse.

Lage war ok, etwas weiter abseits aber in paar Minuten trotzdem zu Fuß erreichbar. Pools etwas klein und wahrscheinlich in Sigiriya nicht nötig.

Super freundliches Personal und herzlicher Umgang. Das Frühstück wird flexibel zur gewünschten Zeit auf der Terrasse serviert. Der private Pool ist mega! Insgesamt waren die 2 Tage in der Unterkunft eine rundum gelungene Erfahrung.

El personal muy simpático, te ayuda a organizar actividades a un precio razonable. Estaba todo muy limpio y la cama era cómoda.

Está a 15 minutos del centro andando por lo que por la noche he conviene coger tuk tuk.

Muy buena ubicación para realizar las actividades de la zona. Las habitaciones son acogedoras, muy limpias, con piscina privada y un desayuno incluido fantástico. Tiene muchos restaurantes cercanos a los que se puede ir caminando y es muy seguro. La amabilidad y atención del personal un 10. Todo ha hecho que nuestra estancia haya sido estupenda.

Breakfast was great, the host is wonderfull. The garden is small but fantastic. Very clean room and bathroom.

Die Unterkunft lieg sehr ruhig in einer Seitenstraße. Man ist aber schnell bei Bars und Restaurants. Alles ist sehr sauber. Das Frühstück war toll! Und Amid war immer sehr hilfsbereit und erfüllte Extrawünsche für die Kinder.

Der Pool sah bei unserem Aufenthalt nicht so einladend aus.

Le cadre était magnifique, perdu dans la nature, sans vis à vis. Les propriétaires ont été hyper accueillant et gentils avec nous. La piscine personnelle et le petit déjeuner aussi.

Er was niet iets wat echt tegen viel, alleen zouden 2 ligbedjes in plaats van 1 het wel beter maken :)

La gentillesse du personnel, la piscine privée, un déjeuner très bon et copieux

Gezellige kamer met goeie bedden met klamboe, lekker warme douche. Ontbijten (zeer lekker en aangepast aan je wensen!) doe je op het leuke terras. Je hebt ook een eigen zwembadje om in af te koelen. Superlieve en zorgzame eigenaars.

Klein paradijsje waar je heerlijk een eigen plekje hebt met eigen privé zwembadje om even in te plonzen. Voor een rustig middagje op de veranda waarbij in het groen nog diverse dieren voorbij komen. Zeer aardige eigenaar die zeer behulpzaam is en ook transport en safari kan regelen. Heerlijke volledige ontbijtjes met kokospannenkoeken. Ligt iets van de weg af maar daardoor lekker rustig en prima te lopen. Op 1 avond werden we op de hoofdweg wel gewaarschuwd voor een wild elephant dus wel blijven opletten.

Nous avons passé deux excellentes nuits au Sunrise Cottage qui est au coeur de la forêt et très au calme. La chambre est magnifique, propre et avec la climatisation. L'hôte est aux petits soins pour nous, il nous a même réservé un tuk-tuk pour notre excursion à Dambulla. Le petit déjeuner est qualitatif avec de délicieux fruits et des oeufs. On se sent au calme avec les oiseaux qui chantent et les arbres autour. La piscine privée est rafraîchissante après une grosse excursion. On est juste à côté des restaurants et on peut y aller à pieds. Tout est parfait ! Nous vous recommandons ce bel endroit à côté des plus beaux sites de Sigiriya ! :)

We as a family of 3 loved Sunrise Cottage. Having a clean room in your own little jungle with your own little pool was perfect. And only a short walk to the restaurants, although take a touch of returning in the dark. Owners couldn't do enough for you.

המיקום מעולה, החדרים נקיים וגם הבריכה. לכל חדר היתה פרטיות עם צמחייה מטופחת. בעל הבית היה נגיש ונענה לכל בקשה , כולל הזמנת טיקטוק/מונית.

הבריכה עבור זוג היא קטנה יחסית ולא זהה לבריכה שבתמונה שהיא עבור 4 נפשות.

Lo que más nos gustó fue la mosquitera que tenían las camas porque al estar rodeados de vegetación los insectos son inevitables y con ella podías dormir tranquilo. El dueño es encantador, sirve un desayuno muy completo en la terraza que hay a la entrada del alojamiento a la hora que le digas. Recuerda llevar una linterna o frontal para la vuelta de cenar porque anochece a las seis y la calle no está iluminada, aunque es muy tranquila y segura.

Great quiet location with a short walk to the local cafes. The manager was very helpful and the stay was pleasant. Rooms were clean and comfortable for the price paid.

De ligging en de faciliteiten zijn geweldig, zwembad en airco zorgen dat je van alle gemakken voorzien bent. Ontbijt was ook heel lekker, vers fruit erbij laat je dag direct beter beginnen! Er zit voldoende horeca op wandelafstand. De eigenaar is ook super gastvrij en vriendelijk. We hadden een klein probleem met de badkamerdeur, hij kwam binnen 1 minuut het probleem oplossen. Dit voelde voor ons als de perfecte locatie, met de best mogelijke service!

Peut-être le ménage qui aurait pu être approfondi

Die Anlage liegt etwas (vielleicht 400m) von der Hauptstrasse weg, so dass man schön ruhig schlafen kann. Die Sitzmöbel für die Terrassse sind wirklich gut, so dass wir draußen das (auf unseren Wunsch) Srilankafood genießen konnten. Der kleine Jakuzzipool ist ein Traum . Ich weiß nicht wie er es gemacht hat, aber bei 38 Grad Aussentemperatur war der Pool sogar etwas kühl. Der Besitzer und seine Familie sind wirklich nett und hilfsbereit. Alle technischen Details AC, Warm Dusche, Fernseher, Wasserkocher, Fön usw. hat einwandfrei funktioniert Die Betten sind sehr bequem, das Zimmer ist geräumig. Unsere Fahrräder standen sicher. Die Sauberkeit alleine verdienst 10 Punkte. Wir würden jederzeit wieder buchen. Zahlung mit Karte nicht möglich, aber für uns völlig egal.

Il proprietario è estremamente gentile e disponibile e la struttura è confortevole. L’arredamento è essenziale ma è tutto pulito e curato. La colazione era buona, ed il proprietario è stato molto flessibile anche sugli orari in cui servirla. Avevamo una piscina privata ma non l’abbiamo utilizzata. Nel complesso un ottimo servizio ed un buon rapporto qualità prezzo!

Nice plants across and the fact that there was a private pool

The pool was dirty, room was smelling like mould.

The room was very comfortable, the pool was absolutely amazing after spending the day walking in the sun. Every facility is working perfectly. Everything was perfectly clean. The owner was very kind and he made himself available whenever needed. He also helped us organizing our visits in Sigirya for good prices. The breakfeast was really good and fulfilling. You will be asked the time for when you want it.

3 bangalows avec chacun sa terrasse et petite piscine. Frigo, air co, bonne douche et bonne literie. Situé au calme et proche 10 min à pied du centre. Petit déj excellent. L'hôtel est juste incroyable, toujours le sourire, toujours prévenant et disponible pour aider à l'organisation des activités à un prix très avantageux. Bref tout est réuni pour un séjour magnifique.

コテージの室内は、とても清掃が行き届いています（周囲が、シギリヤの大自然に囲まれていることからすると、この綺麗さを保つことはとても大変です。） エアコンと天井ファン、ミニ冷蔵庫があり、シャワールームにはドライヤーもあります。設備は、普通の旅行者には十分です。 ホテルのオーナーは、ゲストをとても気遣ってくれます。とはいえ、過剰な気遣いはないので、とてもリラックスして過ごすことができます。シギリヤロックまでのトゥクトゥクの手配、戻ってきてからの遅めの朝食など、すべてがスムーズに進みました。 ホテルの朝食は、コテージの玄関にあるプチテラスでいただきます。半熟の目玉焼きは、とても新鮮で、抜群に美味しいです。紅茶は、人生で最上の美味しさでした。 また、オーナーに会いに行きたくなる宿です。

Logement proche des restaurants mais en étant au fond d'un chemin....Le calme...Le chant des oiseaux La chambre était confortable avec tout le nécessaire : frigo .. climatisation...sèche cheveux .... coffre ...armoire ... La piscine privée après les visites est un must ...la petite terrasse pour le petit déjeuner en observant écureuils et oiseaux On a adoré le lieu.... c'est intime et reposant Et que dire de l'accueil du propriétaire...son sourire ...sa gentillesse ....on conseille à 1000%

De gastheer was super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Zijn vrouw is ook erg aardig. Ze zorgden voor een goed ontbijt. Een tuktuk naar Pidurangala rock om 5:00uur 's ochtends was via hem goed geregeld. We hebben een heel fijn verblijf gehad. Het terras is overdekt en omgeven door groen net als het fijne privé zwembad. We vonden het fijn dat de bedden klamboes hadden. De kamer is eenvoudig, maar heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. De douche is lekker warm met een goede straal. Het is rustig gelegen een stukje van de hoofdweg af, maar je loopt zo naar de restaurantjes. Op aanraden van de gastheer naar Little Hut gegaan en die was erg lekker. Ook Sigiri Chef Lady restaurant vlakbij was goed. Echt een aanrader! En vlakbij Lion Rock en Pidurangala rock.

Él era súper agradable, desayuno riquísimo y completo, es increíble poder bañarse en medio de tanta vegetación en la piscina. Para acercarse a cenar, tienes que coger tuk tuk pero está al lado y el te acerca sin problema.

Etwas abseits von der „Hauptstraße“ befindet sich diese kleine Oase mit eigenem Pool am Zimmer. Die Familie ist super lieb, hilfsbereit und bereitet ein abwechslungsreiches Frühstück aus frischen Früchten, Tee, Kaffee, Pancakes und Ei.

Mooie cottage, eenvoudig ingericht maar bevat alles wat je nodig hebt. Lekker om een eigen zwembad te hebben. Mensen zijn vriendelijk en zijn flexibel met ontbijt etc.

We misten een deken maar na vragen kregen we deze van ze.

The host was very kind and helpful. He made sure we had everything we needed - and organised Tuk-tuks to take us to the sites, and a cookery course for us to attend. Really enjoyed our stay there.

Super Lage, der Gastgeber war super nett und freundlich

Es war alles sehr sauber. Der private Pool war toll. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls lecker. Die Familie war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und sie achteten auf liebevolle Kleinigkeiten z.B. Räucherstäbchen gegen Insekten, abends das Außenlicht angemacht, wenn wir unterwegs waren. Sie haben die Privatsphäre sehr geachtet. Viele Restaurants waren fußläufig erreichbar, ebenso ein kleiner Markt, eine Wäscherei (die auf der linken Straßenseite, von der Unterkunft aus, können wir empfehlen ebenso das Restaurant coconut grove)

Very nice garden cottages in a quiet area. The room was very clean and comfortable with good AC and a fan. Breakfast was provided each morning on the patio and the on site owner was very helpful with information.

This is such a special place!!!! Beautiful location and serene vibe. The host is so kind and makes the best breakfast!! He made sure we had breakfast ready for us when we got back from early morning activities such as a sunrise hike. That made it feel like luxury☺️ The shower is great and there’s a good fridge. I recommend this place!

Great staff, super helpful, nice breakfast, room was spacious, bathroom was adequate. We were allowed to stay a little longer after the check out as we were hiking Lions Peak, and it was super helpful.

Water pressure was a bit of an issue, but nothing drastic. We had a second bed in the room, which we didn't really need, but it's fine. Nothing really, it's a good stay, and we enjoyed it.

Everything. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean and it was great to have our own pool too!

Die Unterkunft liegt im Grünen, fußläufig zu Restaurants und dem Löwenfelsen, dennoch sehr ruhig. Der Vermieter ist nett, zuverlässig und nicht aufdringlich. Alles war sauber, die große Dusche verfügt über eine Duschwand, so bleibt das Badezimmer trocken, was nicht überall in Sri Lanka üblich ist.

Joli cottage situé à l’écart de la rue principale de Sigiriya. Il faudra marcher une dizaine de minute pour rejoindre la rue, dans le noir complet le soir alors pensez à prendre une frontale. La chambre est propre, avec assez d’espace, et de l’intimité que ce soit sur la terrasse, ou à la piscine. La piscine est plutôt propre, bien que tributaire du vent et de la pluie. Le petit déjeuner est excellent, avec des fruits, des crêpes locales, et des œufs. Nous sommes idéalement situés, proche des lieux d’intérêt de Sigiriya. Le gérant de l’hôtel est très gentil.

La douche mériterait un coup de neuf, la pression est faible et le système un peu bancal. L’étagère de douche peut tomber à tout instant. Dommage de ne pas pouvoir payer en carte bleue..

Nous sommes restés 3 nuits au sunrise cottage, l’hôte est très accueillant et serviable ainsi que sa famille. La chambre est propre et fonctionnel. La terrasse, le jardin et la piscine sont plus que nécessaire et très bien entretenue. On se croit en pleine jungle mais proche des commodités. Les petits déjeuners (locaux et européens) sont copieux et de très bonne qualités. Je recommande à 100%.

Heerlijk verblijf met aardige gastheer. Een heerlijk ontbijtje voor op je veranda met veel fruit! Prima ligging vlakbij het centrum.

Frühstück war super, wird direkt auf der Terrasse serviert. Der kleine private Pool ist auch mega gut temperiert und kühlt schön ab. Tolle ruhige Lage (noch viel Natur drumherum). Der Besitzer ist sehr, sehr freundlich!

Das einzig störende war der Baustellenlärm ab ca. 8:30 Uhr. Aktuell werden auf dem Gelände noch zwei weitere Bungalows gebaut. Der Lärm ist nicht übermäßig, jedoch erwähnenswert.

Bel cottage immerso nel verde e nel silenzio. Molto comodo per raggiungere Sigyria. Il proprietario ci ha accompagnati in tuk tuk per cena ed ho molto apprezzato. Colazione strepitosa servita in portico. Mi è piaciuto tutto veramente.

El alojamiento es una maravilla! La habitación es super completa, tiene mosquitera, aire acondicionado, ventilador, hervidor de agua, toallas…todo lo necesario. El baño es muy grande, tiene mampara en la ducha para no mojar todo, secador de pelo, jabones y agua caliente. Estuvimos muy a gusto, el propietario es súper amable, simpático y cercano. Él mismo prepara un súper desayuno a la hora que te venga mejor, el cúal esta súper rico. El ambiente es muy tranquilo, solo se escuchan los pajaros y el sonido de la naturaleza, además tiene piscina privada para cada habitación y una pequeña terraza donde se sirve a cada habitación su desayuno.

Situé dans un quartier calme, le complexe comprend 2 bungalows un 3 eme est en construction. Le double a un petit jardin extrêmement verdoyant avec un bassin de refroidissement. Bonne literie wifi moyen. Très propre. Calme absolu...juste les oiseaux et la musique des voisins ! Le petit déjeuner est excellent et diversifié chaque jours.

Il faut absolument mettre un hamac ou une autre chaise longue car une pour 2 ...

It was a cute little place with just two cottages. The breakfast was simple but good.

We were three adults but the room was little small for us.

Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist sauber. Verfügt über einen privaten Pool, liegt mitten im Grünen, sehr netter Host (Ahmid) der einem gerne mit Rat und Tat zur Seite steht. Zahlreiche Restaurants in Gehdistanz zu erreichen. Für Abends empfehle ich eine Taschenlampe dabei zu haben. Wenige Minuten mit dem TukTuk von den Hauptattraktionen entfernt. Wir würden immer wieder hier einkehren.

Muy buena estancia en Sunrise Cottage. Su dueño es encantador. La ubicación es buena aunque un poco escondida entre caminos por lo que por la noche si vas andando puede dar un poco de rollo. Nosotros íbamos con nuestro tuktuk y genial, en 2min estábamos en la calle principal.

Accoglienza e colazione

Ontzettend leuke cabana met heel fijn privé zwembad en prachtige tuin. Hele vriendelijke en gastvrije eigenaar. Uitgebreid ontbijt met enorm veel fruit. Rustig gelegen op loopafstand van Sigiriya Rock en restaurantjes in de buurt. Ik kan me voorstellen dat sommige mensen de kamer eenvoudig vinden, maar daar zou ik je niet door laten tegenhouden. Integendeel, gaan!
