Le Riad est au cœur de la Médina. Un grand parking surveillé est à proximité (20 dirham pour 24h). Le palais est à couper le souffle tant par son architecture que par le goût dont Atika et Jacques ont fait preuve. Leur collection d’objet et de meubles est fabuleuse. Une fois dans leur Riad vous êtes hors du temps. Les propriétaires sont adorables et ont une culture impressionnante

Sehr herzlicher Empfang mit Tee und Gebäck - Jacques reparierte spontan auch meine kaputten Geldbeutel. Total nette und informative Führung durch das historische Riad, das laut des Gastgebers Bezug zur Königsfamilie hat. Einzigartig, authentisch, ruhig - bestes Panorama mit kilometerweiter Sicht. Wunderschöne und einzigartig bepflanzte Dachterrasse im Herzen der Medina und mit sehr vielen Sitzmöglichkeiten. Die Terrasse lädt sehr zum Verweilen und zum Entspannen ein. Man möchte gerne länger auf dem Rooftop verweilen und deswegen bleiben.

Unser Gastgeber war unglaublich nett, hat uns viel erklärt und war sehr zuvorkommend. Wir haben einen tollen Tipp bezüglich des Abendessens bekommen und wurden sogar direkt im Riad dafür abgeholt. Die Dachterrasse bietet einen wunderschönen Blick auf Meknes und man fühlt sich dort sehr wohl.

Die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist in die Jahre gekommen und es ist dort sehr dunkel. Die sanitären Anlagen sind etwas alt.

Uns hat alles sehr gut gefallen, ledoglich die Bettdecken waren etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig.

Al Riad Atika abbiamo passato due notti molto piacevoli in cui abbiamo goduto fino all'ultimo della meravigliosa terrazza! I proprietari sono due persone molto gentili e accoglienti che ci hanno introdotti alla storia del Riad e della città di Meknes. Abbiamo gradito tantissimo l'ottima colazione e gli innumerevoli consigli dati per vivere al meglio la città e i suoi dintorni!

The owners are super kind and friendly! The rooftop is absolutely lovely, and I can't imagine finding one with a better view over Meknes. It's also quite easy to find (by Moroccan medina standards) and is incredibly well placed to explore the souks, but also quickly exit the medina. My room wasn't the most luxurious, but it was very nice looking, comfortable and incredible value for the money. I wish I could have stayed longer!

Bon accueil de Jacques et Atika. Le rooftop et sa vue panoramique est vraiment le point positif de ce riad.

Attention toutefois aux tarifs, notamment concernant la taxe environnementale qui est bien inclue dans la réservation Booking et qui n'est pas à régler en supplément (la taxe de séjour oui).

Riad Atika was very clean. The was fantastic and went out of her way to accommodate me. She speaks many languages including English. Most smaller places do not have someone that speaks good English. Hers was perfect. The rooftop lounge area is the highest in the area. The rooftop had several areas to relax.

I proprietari sono gentilissimi. Bel Palazzo che si vede che ha una 'storia' e bellissima terrazza sul tetto.

Riad molto elegante e caratteristico, dentro alla Medina di Meknes. Facile da raggiungere a piedi, dalla via principale e dai parcheggi. Proprietari gentili e disponibili. Ottima colazione con prodotti fatti in casa.

Preciós Riad molt ben situat a la medina de Meknés. Habitació àmplia i comfortable. Meravellosa terrassa. El matrimoni que el regenta super amables i atents. També hi vam sopar, i excelent. Totalment recomanable.

The owners are lovely, thoughtful and knowledgeable. The Riad is stunning, it’s like a museum with such beautiful decor and historic items all around. The terrace is fabulous to unwind after a day exploring. It’s a calm oasis in the medina. We had a lovely stay. Thank you!

We verbleven van 4 tot 6 oktober 2025 in Riad Atika Mek in Meknes. Bij aankomst werden we door de sympathieke eigenaren verwelkomt. We keken onze ogen uit in Riad Atika Mek. De Riad maakte onderdeel uit van de prachtige paleizen van de koninklijke familie. De Riad is super mooi, heel gezellig en alle hoeken en gaten en zelfs het dakterras is prachtig ingericht en gedecoreerd. De ligging in Meknes is uitstekend. Heerlijk ontbijt. We vonden Riad Atika Mek achteraf na een maand reizen door Marokko de mooiste Riad waar we hebben verbleven. We hebben het helemaal naar onze zin gehad in Riad Atika Mek. Le Riad Atika Mek nous a émerveillés. Ce riad faisait partie des magnifiques palais de la famille royale. Il est splendide, très confortable, et chaque recoin, même la terrasse sur le toit, est superbement meublé et décoré. Son emplacement à Meknès est idéal. Le petit-déjeuner était délicieux. Après un mois de voyage à travers le Maroc, le Riad Atika Mek est de loin le plus beau riad où nous ayons séjourné. Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour au Riad Atika Mek. Après un accueil digne de ce nom ( thé et gâteaux secs) , Jacque vous fait visiter les lieux . Un riad ( pour ne pas dire palais) authentique et raffiné . La visite se termine sur des terrasses fort bien aménagées et décorées avec une vision panoramique à 360 degrés. Couchers de soleil extra. Les petits déjeuners excellents peuvent se prendre en intérieur ou en terrasse.m ok Pour finir, la gentillesse et la disponibilité de Jacques et son épouse prolongent la magie du lieu.

Die Unterkunft hat eine wunderschöne und große Dachterrasse mit Ausblick in alle Richtungen. Die Lage mitten in der Medina und trotzdem in 5 Min mit Koffer gut erreichbar (Parkplatz Place Lalla Aouda). Die Besitzer waren sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich und immer für ein Gespräch bereit. Das Riad ist verwinkelt und schön dekoriert. Mit einem Reisekoffer allerdings nicht ganz so komfortabel, wenn man weit oben das Zimmer hat. Das Frühstück war lecker.

Das Ehepaar des Riads ist äußerst sympathisch und wirklich freundlich! Die Dachterrasse ist der Wahnsinn. So viele schöne Pflanzen und Fotomotive, einfach gemütlich!

Wir wurden sehr charmant empfangen! Das Riad hat wahrscheinlich die schönste Dachterrasse der ganzen Stadt und ist sehr liebevoll im marokkanischen Stil eingerichtet.

Uniquement la terrasse. Zéro pour l’accueil zéro pour le petit dej !

L’accueil fait par Atika uniquement , son mari Jacques étant absent, qui s est dégradé car nous avions oublié de fermer les 4 portes qui menaient à la terrasse, le côté assez invasif , les critiques sur les précédents voyageurs , une chinoise qui ne voulait pas payer la taxe , les italiens qui ralaient car ils souhaitaient dîner dans le Riad….le rappel oral et par mail pour payer une taxe de 4 euros par jour et par personne soit le double du tarif annoncé par booking ! Et quand on lui a précisé le tarif booking et signaler que certaines chambres n avaient pas d eau chaude cela est allé de mal en pis! Coupure d’eau dans les chambres des ados le matin de notre départ, menace quand au fait qu on était filmé et qu elle avait les clefs de nos chambres. Heureusement que nous ne sommes restés que deux nuits. Quant au petit dej, pain pas frais beurre confiture et un yaourt dixit atika « vu le tarif de la chambre, je ne peux pas faire mieux ». À notre départ envoi de message peu reluisant ! Nous étions dans un précédent Riad à Fès avant et l accueil a été tout autre. Nous sommes tristement déçu! Le Riad ayant ouvert pour faire plaisir à son mari qui avait pris sa retraite, il serait souhaitable qu il soit fermé en son absence.

Riad très bien situé dans la medina. Voiture sur un parking extérieur gardé ; les bagages peuvent être transportés par charrette. Excellent accueil, belle maison très décorée et confortable.

Der Besitzer hat uns auf der dachterrasse die Stadt erklärt, ist uns mit der Frühstück Zeit entgegengekommen und das Haus ist extrem authentisch und direkt im souk gelegen aber leicht erreichbar

Wir wurden herzlich von Jaques empfangen. Von der außerordentlich schönen Dachterasse hat man einen fantastischen Blick über Meknes.

Le Riad Atika est magnifique. Belles décorations très typiques. Très calme. Bons déjeuners marocains. Plusieurs espaces sur la terrasse avec une belle vue. La chambre est confortable. Emplacement calme et facile d'accès. Notre hôte nous a reçu comme des amis. Nous avons eu de belles discussions. Il donne de bons renseignements. Vraiment nous avons adoré !

Great location, hosts made us feel really welcome. Breakfast was basic but plentiful, and tasty. Roof Top terrace is really beautiful and a great place to relax. Our room was comfortable but up 4 flights of stairs.

Beautiful riad with an outstanding roof terrace! Good location in the medina, close to Bab Mansour gate.

The host is the friendliest person I've met in Morocco. It was a pleasure staying at this place thanks to his kindness. The riad looks incredible from the inside and the room has got a heater - you'll know how precious such small thing can be after a long drive on a cold early-spring night. Loved the place, would stay there again without hesitation.

A beautiful place managed by even more beautiful people. Mr Jacque and his wife will make you feel at home, not just by their friendly and mild nature, but also by sharing their knowledge about the city of Meknes and of the wide world which they have traveled extensively. The location in the heart of the medina was perfect for exploring the area. The terrace offered a spectacular view, which was a highlight of the stay. The breakfast was decent and a good start to the day.

Finding the riad was challenging, as the instructions provided were not very clear. Additionally, one of the rooms had a very strong and unpleasant smell, and there was no shampoo available in the showers, which was inconvenient.

Location is not convenient especially if you have a car. Nothing like pictures.

The hosts were very personable and made us feel instantly welcome to their home. It was so lovely and like staying with favourite relatives. The roof terrace had so many places to be and was full of plants.

Staff are really nice and helpful. They offer a nice breakfast and good talks.

Air conditioner needs some refreshing and beds as well

The most beautiful riad in Morocco!

What a find. This Riad is absolutely gorgeous. A labyrinth of beautiful little spaces. The terrace is so nice and gives great 360° views. Jacques and Atika are lovely people and very welcoming. Perfect location in the Medina of Meknes which is a city well worth visiting. Much less touristy than others, but plenty of charm. Stay here. You will not regret it.

I loved the friendly hosts, clean room, quiet after 10pm, perfect breakfast, and beauty/charm of this riad. We were there a week and it felt like home. I cried when I had to go...

The host was super kind and helpful, the riad is beautifull and very well located in the center of the medina. Lovely terrace as well.

Riad Atika Mek is very well maintained and decorated. It feels like you're staying in a friend's home. The host, Jacques is very attentive to guests while at the same time remaining unobtrusive. He is an interesting man with many stories and is always ready to give advice when asked. His wife, Atika is also very friendly. The location is fairly straightforward and not too far from the Bab Hissi (across from the museum). The roof is extensive and has many relaxing spots to sit and enjoy the view of the medina and surrounding hills.

Everything was perfect.

If you want to stay in a beautiful riad with warm and friendly hosts this is the perfect place. Staying in the riad is like staying in a palace. Everywhere is decorated with traditional crafts. The room is comfortable and the shower works great. The view from the terrace is exceptional. You can see the entire city and towns on the hillside. We enjoyed visiting with the hosts while eating a delicious breakfast. It was very hard to leave after an 8 night stay. I would love to return.

The property is located in the medina, so it’s very close to the main attractions. However, since it’s in one of the narrow alleys, it’s very silent at night for a good rest. The area is safe with families and kids playing around also at night. Our room was spacious and clean, and the riad itself is very fascinating. The owners are absolutely lovely and give you many information about Meknes and Morocco (from places to visit, to Morocco’s history, to where to eat and so on). It’s been an amazing stay for us!

The Riad is run by the very charismatic and humorous Jacques and you can see his affection towards the house and its guests in every detail!

Everything! From the decor to the friendly owners to the magnificent roof terrace…this is the place to be in Meknes. It’s that simple.

Great location, the patrons were very welcoming and made us feel at home straight away. All the facilities and rooms were impeccable, and cleaned everyday. Greatly recommended!

The terrace is spectacular! The breakfast was better than most, and the owner, Jacques is such a delight! What a humorous and kind man!

As many medina accommodations, it was a bit hard to find upon arrival and loaded down with baggage.

The most wonderful rooftop is here. We saw here a very impressive sunset while the storks decided to make their last flight before the night. Hundreds of them came by. This Riad is very original with the owners living next door. In the middle of the Medina. You can park the car outside the Medina at a parking place. And then walk 10 minutes to the Riad.

We had one room with a nasty smell. Which was difficult to solve although it was tried to make it better but without success and that makes it rather uncomfortable unfortunately. Meknes itself was under renovation so a lot was closed. They day that after a couple of months everything will be ready.

Lovely decor; very classy. Spectacular roof terraces with shady areas. Great welcome from a wonderful hostess; fabulous service and an enormous breakfast. Very central location - the Meknes medina is very sheltered from the sun.

Shame we only stayed one night!
