Very thin walls - we could hear everything happening in your neighbour’s rooms making it very difficult to sleep. Bathroom did not appear or smell clean. Towels and bed linen were not changed unless you paid extra or stayed for longer than 3 days. Would not return here.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026Remek helyen található, saját parkolási lehetőséggel, ami kincs. Kedves személyzet, tiszta, modern szállás. Finom édes és sós reggeli. Jó tanácsokat kaptunk térképpel a látnivalókról. Igaz egy éjszakát voltunk, de itt sokkal többet is szívesen eltöltöttünk volna.
Nem volt ilyen.

La struttura è un palazzo tutt’altro che storico, il personale poco adatto all’accoglienza, una colazione con pochissima scelta e non adeguata al numero di ospiti, Wi-Fi scarso funzionava a tratti, arredato Basic Ikea, sproporzionato nei costi, i bicchieri e le tazze in camera Sporchi.

...das Frühstück war vorwiegend auf Süßes ausgerichtet. Obst, Pikantes und Müsli sehr einfach und immer gleich gehalten. Da hat man nach 2 Tagen genug.

Abbiamo pagato 20 € per lasciare l’auto nel cortile della struttura, ma lo spazio a disposizione non era sufficiente per ospitare tutte le vetture degli ospiti. La cosa più spiacevole è stata trovare sul parabrezza un biglietto lasciato dai condomini vicini. Una situazione decisamente poco piacevole, soprattutto considerando che il parcheggio ci era stato indicato dalla struttura e regolarmente fatto pagare. Se viene offerto un servizio di parcheggio a pagamento, ritengo sia responsabilità della struttura assicurarsi che gli spazi siano effettivamente disponibili e che non si creino problemi con i residenti del condominio. Pagare 20 € e ritrovarsi anche le lamentele dei condomini non è certamente il servizio che ci si aspetta da un albergo.

Geen extra plek om je handdoeken van het zwemmen te drogen. Niet heel erg. Maar was wel fijn geweest.

Staff gentilissimo e sempre sorridente: ci hanno dato ottimi consigli su dove mangiare a Ibla. Colazione abbondante con prodotti locali, dal cannolo alla granita. Posizione top: 5 minuti a piedi dal Duomo di San Giorgio. Rapporto qualità-prezzo ottimo. Consigliatissimo!

Die Exclusive Suite war für unsere Familie mit zwei Teenager perfekt; zwei Schlafzimmer mit sehr grossem Badezimmer. Wir kamen spät abends an, nach den Öffnungszeiten der Réception. Late Self-Check-in ist sehr gut organisiert und die Instruktionen waren klar. Privater Parkplatz gleich um die Ecke. Mille grazie a Valentina e Claudia!

Reviewed Jul 5, 2026Hôtel bien situé pour visiter la vieille ville. Personnel, qui parle plusieurs langues, est très accueillant, donne de bons conseils au sujet des lieux à visiter, restaurants. Avons pu laisser nos valises un peu après notre check-out. Chambre propre, lit confortable. Bon buffet petit-déjeuner. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !
Nous pensions pouvoir prendre le petit déjeuner sur la jolie terrasse. Dommage.

Reviewed Jun 22, 2026Lage des Hotels zentral in der Altstadt von Ortygia (Syrakus): eine Vielzahl an Restaurants, Cafés, Geschäften, die Kathedrale, der Hafen usw. sind fußläufig erreichbar. Das Hotel und unser Zimmer waren sauber und gepflegt. Der Parkplatz für einen Mietwagen kann kostenpflichtig direkt neben dem Hotel gebucht werden. Das ist dringend zu empfehlen, da es in der näheren Umgebung in der Altstadt keine freien Stellplätze gibt. Valentina und Claudia von der Rezeption waren sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit und sind absolut zu empfehlen. Es gibt nichts zu kritisieren. Wer den Aufenthalt mit Frühstück bucht, sollte wissen, dass es im Hotel ein typisch (überwiegend süßes) italienisches Frühstück gibt.
Die Badestrände von Ortygia sind eher klein und überwiegend steinig. Zum Baden empfiehlt es sich, einen Strand außerhalb von Ortygia zu besuchen.

Reviewed Jun 12, 2026Ein qualitativ hochwertiges Zimmer in bester Altstadtlage mit bewachtem Parkplatz und sehr freundlichem und zuvorkommendem Personal. Das Frühstück auf der luftigen Dachterasse ist ein wunderbarer Tagesbeginn. Wir konnten unser Auto schon über Mittag vor dem Einchecken auf den Parkplatz stellen. Das Hotel übernahm die Formalitäten der ZDL-Parkzone.

Reviewed Jun 8, 2026The fantastic location, the warm and generous woman who ran the breakfast buffet on the 3rd floor porch.
This was the second time out of 3 sicilian hotels where I was given a different quality of room than what I paid for and another in my family travel party (3 other rooms) got the room i paid for even though they had signed up for a lower quality room. I think in this case the problem is booking.com and their quality control processes and standards. I probably won't use booking.com again.

This was one of our more expensive stays on Sicily, but ;you get what you pay for'.

Floors not properly clean, faulty door lock, fridge barely working, dodgy air-conditioning, powerful smell of drains permeating breakfast, not a guest-led friendly experience .If you want a good Italian breakfast cappuccino you would do better at the bar across the road

Bei 4Sterne erwarte ich einen kostenlosen Handtuchtausch. Tisch zum Frühstück wird schmutzig übergeben. Blick aus dem Fenster auf eine Hauswand. Alles sehr laut! Selbst die Badezimmertür öffnet sich nur mit einer unangenehmen Lautstärke. Hier ist garantiert, dass die zweite Person im Doppelzimmer bei jedem Gang auf die Toilette automatisch wach ist, falls nicht, auf jeden Fall mit der Benutzung der Wasserspülung.

There was work being done and we were woken up at 4:00 am with loud noises and wheel barrows being pushed, when asked the desk they were dismissive saying it couldn’t have been their workers. When asked for WiFi info was told it was on my table which it wasn’t, when asked for a wine opener was told it was there in the room when it wasn’t and the coffee machine was dirty as well as a residue in the plates.

Reviewed May 8, 2026die Lage im Teil Ortygia war perfekt! Das Zimmer schön renoviert in einem "alten" Haus. Die Rezeption hat uns vorab schon Informationen geschickt, dass der check in reibungslos funktioniert. Gutes Frühstück! Ein gebührenpflichtiger Parkplatz gleich im Hinterhof war sehr praktisch.

Reviewed May 3, 2026Ortigia is not the easiest to navigate by car (think narrow alleys), but this is in a great location! Central to walking towards the sea or the piazza near the entrance bridge; we walked everywhere after parking at the lot behind I Santi Coronati. We opted for a front room with a balcony so there was a bit of street noise (motorcycles).
We arrived in Catania on a 7 am internatioal flight so it would have been helpful to be able to check in a little earlier than 3 pm

Reviewed May 1, 2026We drove directly to place and parked in a private lot and walked to everything. So friendly and kind. We stayed only two nights. So much history and we were able to get a lot in two days. Grazie Mille to our wonderful hosts. Bravo Tina and Tim K. Also bonus a public laundry a few steps away. So clean and convenient for those of us who still over pack.

Attention aux extras à payer en cash sur place. Aucune souplesse, le depart du parking c’est 10h30 pas plus pour découvrir la ville, les lits simples à payer en plus, petit déjeuner moyen, mauvaise insonorisation
