Courtyard by Marriott Delray Beach

The property and room were very clean and well designed. The bathroom was big and the bed was comfortable. Great location, covered parking, beautiful pool, excellent staff (Thanks Ryan & Roger!), was able to get a reasonable late checkout for a late flight and offered to hold onto my luggage until my flight at 8pm. I did not end up leaving it, but knowing it was available was really helpful. I asked for a higher floor with a decent view if available, and was given 4th floor instead of 2nd which was beautiful and appreciated. Large shower with nice body wash (lavender & eucalyptus). Large, clean lobby, fast elevators. I pick Marriott over other hotels because they are consistent across their properties. Multiple staff were talking to each other when I had came up to the front desk twice, and they all stopped talking to help me when I came up. Many places keep talking to each other and ignore the customer, so I appreciated the hospitality.

Marriott Delray Beach needs better pool signage on the 4th floor, I was on the 4th floor in the other side and had to go to the front desk to find out the pool was on the other side. Parking is $30, too much. The pool was a bit dirty inside with sand. No breakfast offers. The bathroom had 2 overhead lights that were very bright which is good sometimes, but I wish there was a smaller light for night-time. No tub.

The hotel room said it was meant for 4 people to stay but the pull out couch could not physically fit 2 people. It was smaller in size than a twin and I feel I got scammed.

Love the large spacious room, beautiful ocean and greenery view, roof top pool, its vibe with a live performer, beautiful views, friendly staff. Great location, 10 min walk to the beach and the beach boardwalk, really nice walk to get to the beach, beautiful homes, scenery... friendly people. Walking distance to historic touristy area restaurants and bars. I personally love everything about this hotel and its location, it was a great choice for the girls weekend. Also appreciated provided parking at the building, shady spot and just a few feet away from the hotel entrance.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Roger at the front desk. Around 12:00 AM on a Friday night, I arrived with an injured baby bird that had a severely broken wing, and Roger went above and beyond to help. Instead of brushing me off, he genuinely cared. He helped me figure out the best way to rescue the bird, found a wildlife rescue hotline for me to call, provided a box to safely transport it, and even gave me gauze to help keep the bird as comfortable as possible. His kindness, compassion, and willingness to help in such an unexpected situation meant more than I can put into words. Exceptional customer service is rare, but Roger is a shining example of what it looks like. He turned a stressful and heartbreaking situation into one where I felt supported and hopeful. If every hotel had someone like Roger at the front desk, the world would be a better place. Thank you, Roger, for your incredible compassion and for going the extra mile. The young man at the desk was cleaning his finger nails as we approached the desk. He should clean his finger nails in the bathroom not at the front desk where customers can see him. That made me ill.

J'ai pris une chambre avec deux petits déjeuners inclus et quand on est arrivé on nous a dit que les petits déjeuners n'étaient pas inclus. Il a fallu retourner à la réception pour faire un vérifier avec la réservation Booking. Problème de communication quelque part. Les deux filles au bar, très désagréables, le petit déjeuner est inexistant, car pour vingt dollars, on a eu droit à une boisson, un café donc sans jus d'orange, et un plat chaud au choix, pour moi des œufs brouillés servis avec des pommes de terre coupée en cubes. Et deux tranches de bacon bien trop cuites... Meme un enfant de 10 ans arrive à faire au petit déjeuner mieux que ca... Et ensuite bien sûr lors du check out, on a voulu nous faire payer quarante-quatre dollars de suppléments pour le petit déjeuner qui devait être inclus dans la chambre... Il a encore fallu discuter... Sinon je mets une photo des prix du petit déjeuner, c'est hors de prix. Pour des bouteilles achetées au supermarché et une cuisine discutable... Et la photo de mon petit déjeuner pour vingt-deux dollars... Aucun fruit proposé contrairement à ce qui est écrit dans la description de l'hôtel. La piscine n'est pas du tout chauffée et elle était plus froide que l'océan et pas propre du tout. Les serviettes fournies sont très petites. On peut pas oppositionner une autour de sa taille ni l’etaler sur un transat, il faut en prendre deux.

My husband and I rarely get the opportunity to get away—we are both full-time working parents to a toddler—so we were really looking forward to this one-night stay to celebrate his 41st birthday. We chose this hotel hoping for a relaxing and comfortable experience, but unfortunately, it was anything but that. The most significant issue was the noise. From the moment we settled in, we could clearly hear televisions from neighboring rooms through the walls. It wasn’t just faint background noise—it was loud enough to make it very difficult to relax, let alone sleep. We contacted the front desk to report the issue, and while they told us they would send security to address it, the noise never improved. It continued well into the night without any resolution. In addition to the noise, the bed was extremely uncomfortable. It lacked proper support and made it nearly impossible to get any rest. Between the constant noise and the uncomfortable bed, the situation became so frustrating that we ultimately made the decision to leave in the middle of the night—something we have never had to do before at any hotel. We informed the front desk when we left and explained the situation. Given the circumstances, we felt it was reasonable to ask if any accommodation or consideration could be provided. Unfortunately, nothing was offered, and there was little acknowledgment of how disruptive the experience had been. For a stay that was meant to be a rare and special night away for us, this was incredibly disappointing. We left feeling frustrated, exhausted, and let down. Based on this experience, I would not return to this hotel or recommend it to others looking for a comfortable and restful stay.

The location was perfect. The staff were friendly. The property was clean.

The shower was hand held and the water pressure was horrible. The lighting in the bathroom was poor. The lights around the mirror didn’t appear to work. I was given a room with two windows that took up the entire wall in two different rooms. There was no method to open them so my room was dark during my entire stay. The price for food was expensive for what you received in return. I actually paid two dollars and forty nine cents for a small banana.

We recently hosted a group stay and meetings at this hotel for our law firm, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The staff was incredibly professional, responsive, and accommodating, especially when it came to coordinating our meeting space and group needs. Great location, nice room, parking good but it cost $30/night!? Negatives are tired and dirty upholstery by the pool and in some areas of the lobby. Time for an upgrade!!

My wife and I had a fantastic stay at this property. The location truly cannot be beat. We did not need a car and were able to walk everywhere, including the beach, bars, and restaurants. The staff was first rate and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our ten night stay. Special kudos to Ryan at the front desk and to the pool bar team including Nick, Steve, Adam, and Alexis. They were all outstanding, friendly, professional, and exceptional when it comes to service and hospitality. Our guest room was clean and comfortable, and housekeeping was attentive and responsive to our needs. The hotel gym was clean as well, though it could benefit from additional dumbbells and perhaps a machine or two. One small suggestion would be to update the pool lounge chairs. There are not many, and some are dated and in need of repair. Overall, we were extremely happy with our stay and would absolutely recommend this property to others and would gladly return ourselves.

I have stayed at many Marriotts. This by far was the worst one. I really dont know where to begin. The first look around our room when we arrived we noticed the bathroom floors and shower was not thoroughly cleaned. We took a closer look and saw that there was VISIBLE BLACK MOLD in our shower. We stayed postive and went about our day. Later that day when we went to start taking showers we encountered some more issues. We needed another shower towel so we asked housekeeping if we could have another which seemed like a complete inconvenience to them. Then we go to take a shower and the water is piping hot. I take very hot showers but this was the type that you could not even put half your body in. We turned the knob in every direction. We turned it all the way to C and no change. All the way to H and no change. We tried putting it in the middle and no change. The water pressure was also extremely weak but the main issue was the temperature control. That night we called down to the front desk regarding the mold & temperature control. They said both will be fixed by the time we came back from dinner. We come back from dinner and mold is still there and temperature is still piping hot! The front desk left us a voicemail claiming someone came and fixed both issues. We called again the next day and they said they would call back and never did. 2 out of the 6 days housekeeping did not clean our rooms and people on our floor said the same. The housekeeping staff was extremely unpleasant to deal with, anytime you would ask them for something simple I felt like I was inconveniencing them. I just recently stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott in Fort Lauderdale and it was a 5 star hotel compared to this one. I am extremely disappointed and would think twice about choosing this hotel.

We had our welcome dinner for our wedding at the Courtyard in Delray Beach. Kayla and her staff were wonderful to work with. Our plan was to have our party on the rooftop by the pool but unfortunately the weather did not cooperate. Kayla and Michaeal were organized and responsive on moving the party to another room in the hotel. It turned out fantastic from the room to the food, to the service it was amazing we could not have asked for anything more. We were also able to go have drinks after the dinner on the rooftop and it was lovely. Our guests are still talking about how great the food was and how amazing the bar staff were. I would recommend the Courtyard by Marriot Delray Beach Florida to any bride looing to book a rehearsal or welcome dinner.

Spent 3 nights at Marriott Courtyard Del Ray Beach in October for a wedding. Several issues encountered: * our room was not available at check-in. This is largely a Bonvoy issue bc it allows very late check outs, a practice that should be curbed if stated check in times can’t be accommodated. * our family members were told they were on our floor when they checked in, but three rooms on three different floors. * one son had made a reservation for a king room but this type of room was not available when he arrived. He was offered two queens which did not allow for the crib. Really poor customer service. * non smoking rooms not guaranteed (see pic below). Really? In 2025? * hotel does not really have a restaurant. More like a snack bar for breakfast and a beach bar for dinner. Beach bar only has two high-tops with shade, all other tables in full sun. Really? In Florida? * good location walkable to coffee shops and restaurants (fortunately) * clean rooms

I had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel. The room was spotless, well-kept, and very comfortable, which immediately made me feel at home. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. The quiet atmosphere around the property made it very relaxing, and yet I also found that there were plenty of shops and conveniences nearby, which made it easy to explore without any hassle. Overall, I can honestly say this is a five-star experience in every way. I left feeling very satisfied and grateful, and I would happily recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

This hotel is the best kept secret as a place to stay in Delray Beach. A wonderful staff ready to accommodate visitors without questions. Good location. An amazing property very well managed. Rooftop pool and bar make it a fun place for R and R when visiting Delray. We housed our entire family at the "Courtyard" and everyone cannot wait to return. Although the dining options are somewhat limited at the hotel, there are an abundance of all day dining almost at the hotel's doorstep. TheisMarriott property, in my book ,rates as on for the best in the entire portfolio

This hotel is the worse Marriott hotel I have ever stayed in. This hotel has roaches. Upon my arrival on July 16, 2025, I was informed that the air conditioner was out in most rooms. The one-bedroom King Suite I reserved could not be rented to me due to this issue, so they put me in a different room for 2 nights. They did give me a $200 credit on my bill for this inconvenience. Upon moving to room 355, the King Suite, I discovered cock roaches in the room. Some got into my luggage. I did not bring them with me because I do not have roaches where I live. They moved me to a different room because someone else had the room booked the weekend of August 8th and I was supposed to go back to the King Suite on August 11th. I get a phone call from Matthew Stoner, Manager at the front desk the morning of August 11th informing me that the air-conditioner in the King Suite was broken and by state law, he could not rent the room to me and instructed me to remain where I was in room #338. This was my 3rd room in 4 weeks. Unacceptable for close to $300.00 per night! They also charged me $161.00 for Garage Parking and parking taxes knowing I didn’t have a car and took Uber everyplace. It took me 4 days to finally get the front desk staff and hotel management to credit my bill for these erroneous charges. Other Google reviewers said they too were charged falsely for garage parking fees. So this appears to be a fraud scheme that this hotel is perpetrating on its customers, hoping that you don’t find out about it on your invoice until you have checked out of the hotel. Fraudsters! Matthew Stoner displayed passive-aggressive behavior toward me and was very unkind and unprofessional. In fact, the entire front desk staff acted the same way. Like they don’t want to be there, they hate their jobs and they all had the worse customer service skills I’ve ever experienced as a Bonvoy member at ANY Marriott property. I will never stay at this hotel again and I strongly recommend that you stay at The Seagate Hotel at 100 East Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach a couple of blocks away from the beach. If you want to relax and enjoy your vacation, please do not stay at the Courtyard Marriott Delray Beach. There are much better hotel options in Delray Beach that are clean, bug free, won’t put unauthorized charges on your bills and will offer you professional and kind customer service. Stay away from here!

I really have a moment to post any reviews unless I am upset with someone/ something that much to take my time and go online. But I gotta say something nice about Receptions Dahana… We came in this hotel first time in July from Chicago w our oldest son for FAU orientation and then again now in August. It’s a very emotional time for us as a family but Dahana was soo sweet and kind and supportive that it really touched me to my core. When we called her from airport to see if maybe we could check in to our room earlier that regular check in time - she totally recognized me and remembered me as a guest from July??? Like seriously? I was soo impressed by this and she was sooo accommodating. We loved staying here . We loved hotel attention to cleanliness and maybe if I would love something more would be a coffee in a lobby. Yes- I was going to Starbucks that’s open 6-9 but regular coffee and creamer would make a nice welcome.

Excellent hotel and even better staff. The girls and manager on the front desk were amazing. Natasha, the guest room manager was amazing! They were having some problems with the AC in the building, she went out of her way to accommodate us. Even sharing a fan that another guest left behind. 100% customer service. Roof top pool and bar were amazing. Only problem was 35 degrees outside and high humidity. Which we expected considering the time of year. Overall, Delray Beach is a great little city with a wonderful beach, lots of shops and restaurants. I would highly recommending checking it out and staying at the Courtyard!

Maintenance was being done to the AC and it was freezing in the room. Had to get extra blanket from front desk. After a complaint to the front desk, they extended my checkout as a courtesy. They will try to nickel and dime you to death.

This hotel is amazing but honestly the people are unlike any other customer service I’ve experienced! Matthew at the front desk is one of the kindest, most genuine people I’ve met. You can tell he is passionate about what he does and wants all the guest to have the best stay. You have to see Nick at Reef’s rooftop too, he is incredible as well. We will be back simply because of the customer service!

I was there a couple of days with my daughter on a job interview, the hotel service was terrible, there was no room service, I had to pay $4 for a bottle of water and had to walk to the front desk for water that's terrible. i've been a Marriott Rewards member for several years and I will not recommend this hotel ever again .!!!!

The meeting space was intimate, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged, providing the ideal setting for our group. Convenient parking was another highlight—day guests could park in the garage at no charge, and overnight guests received a discounted rate of $15. I highly recommend the Courtyard Delray Beach for corporate meetings. The team’s dedication and the property’s amenities made for a truly successful event.

One of the worst hotel stays I've ever had. The air conditioning in my room wasn’t working, and the heat made it nearly impossible to sleep. I spoke with the front desk twice hoping for a solution, but nothing was done. No follow-up, no offer to change rooms — just empty apologies. Miserable experience and a completely ruined weekend. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Great location, large room and bathroom. Extremely clean and well decorated. The best part of the stay was our interaction with Matthew Stoner at the front desk. He made us feel welcomed and appreciated as soon as we walked in. We told him we were in town for an FAU campus visit and he gave us great info on the school and local scene. When we arrived back at the hotel after the campus visit he remembered us and asked about the visit. Gave us advice on local shopping and beaches. Where to park, etc Warned us about the potential for storms later in the day. We will definitely return to this hotel and highly recommend.
