The rooms were a little dated and, unfortunately, we had a number of issues during our stay. We had to change rooms because the water coming from the taps was brown and dirty. The hotel explained that this was due to the municipal water supply, which I found difficult to accept as an adequate explanation for a hotel of this standard. Although the hotel eventually moved us to another room, the situation was very disappointing, particularly as we were unable to have a proper shower for almost two days. Another major disappointment was the extensive renovation work taking place at the hotel. This was not clearly advertised or communicated to us before our stay. As a result, the main pool was largely unavailable, with only a very small section accessible to guests. This significantly affected our experience, especially as use of the pool was an important part of our stay. Overall, I felt that these issues should have been communicated clearly before booking, particularly the scale of the renovation works and the impact on the hotel facilities

Under heavy construction and renovation. Only one pool open. It was like being on a construction site. We were told they were renovating BUT they failed to mention the extent of renovations. The gym is not as big as the website makes out. Also, we got oil on our feet from beach.

Due to renovations we were upgraded to a 2 bed apartment with a private pool. It was excellent. The staff were professional, happy and accommodating. Pool near Xana was lovely however the other pool was closed for renovations. Buggy and drivers excellent.

We were advised there was some renovations after booking and prior to arrival however we did not realise that it would be extensive and involve half the resort. Seafood buffet was advertised when we booked but not available now and since been removed from website. There was a private function booked at Xana one night and the noise especially the music was really loud.

Beautiful resort with great activities for the whole family. Accommodation is great and comfortable and the Thai theme throughout is beautiful. Many great restaurants all with fantastic food options. We had a guest that is Celiac and the staff went above and beyond to provide gluten free meals - much appreciated.

Our booking was end of July (low season) and the resort was undergoing major maintenance. This is understandable however, if we were advised accordingly, we would not have been taken by surprise and avoided disappointment. The amazing lagoon pool (main reason we booked) was closed and lots of the accommodation blocks were under complete reconstruction. Meaning we heard building noise, trucks etc. all day long. The hotel did try and accommodate us on the last day of our stay by allowing entry to neighboring hotels, but that should have been offered from day one.

The location is perfect; quiet and away from the hustle and bustle, but only 30minutes from the airport and The Old Town. Great restaurants on site, especially the Italian and the Thai restaurants. Lots of water and land activities available. A great spa with lovely staff. Our concerns and feedback on the ongoing renovations were taken seriously and met with professionalism.

The current site renovations were not communicated prior to arrival. No mention on the main page on the website. The main pool (which was one of the reasons for choosing this hotel), pool bar and some garden areas are not in use at all and are cordoned off with construction site walls that unfortunately affect the atmosphere in the adjacent area along with construction noise.

Italian restaurant azzura.

I would like to raise a serious concern about the safety arrangements at the hotel. There was no lifeguard at the swimming pool and no lifeguard or proper supervision at the beach during our stay. This is especially concerning because we were informed that one person sadly lost their life just two days before we were due to leave. Considering this incident, I find it very worrying that there was still no professional lifeguard supervision. The pool and beach are used by many families and children, and accidents can happen very quickly. I strongly believe the hotel should take this matter seriously and provide proper lifeguard coverage and safety measures at both the pool and beach

Yes the pools were down but we got to visit banyan tree pool everyday. Victor was absolutely wonderful in all aspects of our stay. I highly recommend! I would like to visit again when all the pools are open.

The breakfast was top notch every day and the restaurants on site were 5 star dining.

The majority of the pools were shut for renovation works. There was only a small pool on the beach with only a few sunbeds. We only booked the hotel for the choice of pools and so we’re disappointed when we arrived to find the majority of the hotel was being renovated.

חלק גדול מהשטח נמצא בשיפוצים ומכוסה או סגור. בריכה נהדרת הממוקמת בדיוק ליד היחידה שלנו סגורה לשימוש עקב השיפוצים. כל הסירות ספורט ימי באגם בתשלום (די גבוה) נוסף, דייג שפורסם באתר לא קיים. הזמנו את המקום חצי שנה מראש. מקום יקר מאוד ומרגישים שלא קיבלנו תמורה. כשפנינו לצוות עם הטענה, קיבלנו הטבות בהארכת חדר עד 18:00, רכב חינם במעבר למקום אחר בתום השהות ושובר למסאג'.

We had a wonderful and pleasant stay at Angsana Laguna Phuket. The resort offers a great location and a huge variety of activities to keep you engaged, but what truly sets this property apart is its phenomenal staff. Despite some ongoing renovation works, the brilliant, warm, and proactive service completely offset any minor inconvenience. Several team members deserve special mention for going above and beyond: Victor took exceptional extra care from the start to ensure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The culinary team took great care of us every single morning, providing special vegetarian selections at breakfast that made our meals effortless and enjoyable. Mr. Cham took a personal interest in teaching us great techniques for playing pool and snooker, a highlight of our leisure time! Mr. Man made our evening bicycle ride a memorable experience with his great guidance and warmth. We also dined at Azzura Italian twice during our trip, and both dining experiences were absolute perfection. The genuine hospitality, personal touches, and caring atmosphere created by the entire team will definitely bring us back. Highly recommended!

Had a wonderful time at Angsana Laguna where we stayed for 9 nights. The hotel was unfortunately undergoing renovations but noise was minimal (except when we were having massages in the spa where we could hear drilling just outside!). The hotel is dated, to be frank (hence the renovations), however, the staff provides exceptional service. Food and service at Azzurra were great. We enjoyed the prize draws where we got freebies like a young coconut drink at the Xana bar. Special thanks to Ahmed at the Front Desk. In the spa, Itim, Milli and Fon were all amazing. We also enjoyed the free boat shuttles across the laguna which took us to Canal Village for shopping (groceries at Tops, nail and pedicures treatments and restaurants). Thank you all

I had a wonderful and truly relaxing experience at Angsana Laguna Spa. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was peaceful, beautifully maintained, and perfect for unwinding. A special thank you to Khun Alice at reception, who was incredibly warm, welcoming, and friendly. Made me feel comfortable from the very beginning. My therapist, Khun Milli, was exceptional. She was highly skilled, attentive, and knew exactly how to relieve tension. The massage was one of the most relaxing treatments I’ve had, and I left feeling completely refreshed and rejuvenated. The thoughtful touches, calming ambiance, and excellent hospitality made the entire experience memorable. We had a wonderful stay in the Two Bedroom Island Duplex. The villa is incredibly spacious, comfortable, and perfect for families. The staff are exceptional—nothing is too much trouble—and the breakfasts amazing. There is, however, one feature that deserves a mention… and perhaps a small design rethink. The bathrooms are on a mezzanine level with very slippery tiles, so caution is needed. But the real surprise was the floor-to-ceiling windows. We assumed the glass was one-way. It wasn’t. Our teenage son unknowingly provided what was almost certainly the most memorable entertainment of the day for an entire ferry full of passengers before we realised the bathroom was effectively on public display. Fortunately, he has a good sense of humour. A simple warning at check-in or some privacy film on the windows would save future guests from unintentionally becoming part of the resort’s entertainment programme. Despite our unexpected contribution to the local sightseeing experience, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return!

We loved it here. Incredible staff, peaceful environment, fantastic breakfast buffet, wonderful spa and great room cleaning. Easy to access Boat Avenue by Grab for a 7-11 and food at “non-resort” prices. We often get sick in Thailand, but didn’t here- testament to careful cleaning and food preparation.

1. The facilities were all under maintenance, this wasn't mentioned during booking. So we paid premium for nothing. 2. Kids activities very very limited 3. Bathroom is too small and get messy very fast. 4. Breakfast was very normal. The two reasons I'd booked for the facilities and Breakfast were non existent or not good at all.

I got help by staff p’bee he was accommodating me to the room which was downstairs helping me with my bags and guiding me the way. It’s nice of him to welcome me which such a warm feeling.

The staff provided impeccable service throughout our stay. They were incredibly attentive, caring, and always went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The location is perfect, and Laguna is one of the most upscale and beautiful areas of Phuket. I would highly recommend staying here and would definitely return.

Honestly, there was very little to complain about. If I had to mention one thing, it would be that the breakfast selection could offer a bit more variety for guests staying several days.

The beachfront positioning is perfect, and having access to so many different pools meant every day felt like a new experience. The breakfast was extensive, and the staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming. We loved the variety of restaurants inside the resort, as well as easy access to the nearby Laguna shops and eateries.

It was my first time staying there and overall it wasn’t bad. The staff were very helpful and friendly, breakfast spread was decent and gym was pretty good. Rooms were well stocked with water everyday which was helpful

On my 2nd day, my room was still not made when I came back at 3pm which was unusual as I thought rooms would have been tidied in the morning. And it was also low season which made me wonder why it took so long for the room to be tidied. I did call reception to request for my room to be cleaned which was subsequently attended to. So maybe it was just a one off issue.

Excellent hotel a clean, well-maintained and offering great facilities. The staff is friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. The food is very good and room service is efficient and responsive. The gym is well-equipped with everything needed for both cardio and strength training. Located in a quiet, peaceful area, making it a great choice for both couples and families. A market is just a short 7 minute drive away. Perfect if you’re looking for a relaxing and calm stay.

We originally staying in duplex which was very old and dated. The was ants everywhere. The kitchen and bathrooms were overrun with them. We then upgraded to a newer apartment with a rooftop pool and that was fantastic. Spotless clean and staff were amazing. Apartment we upgraded to was beachfront angsana. Lots of activities for families and great playground. Nice pools too

It was a one-night birthday staycation, and we checked in the Laguna King Corner Room on Level 3 overlooking the lake. The room was cosy and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options. The staff service was absolutely amazing—very responsive via WhatsApp and truly made us feel appreciated. We were also welcomed with drinks and snacks, which was a lovely touch. One of the highlights was the beach yoga session with Instructor Sun; it was such a perfect and memorable experience doing yoga during sunset. In-room dining was a little pricey, but still acceptable for the overall experience. We will definitely return to Angsana Laguna on our next visit to Phuket. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality! 😊

The staff were very good and so was the breakfast. The room was a good size and clean.

The pool was missing many tiles and the swim up bar wasn’t good. Many tiles were missing. The pool in the centre was unclean and slimy. The restaurants were expensive and limited. The massages were very expensive. The en-suites were due an upgrade.

Big property, close to beach, great variety of restaurant, pool, activity options. Staff are exceptional 100% across the board throughout the entire property.

Peaceful laid back environment. Kudos to the transportation provided to travel within laguna too. The shuttle and boat ferries you around laguna area conveniently. The sunset at the property was also awesome.
