Amazing bedrooms, bed was so comfortable, facilities and pool so good! Great for kids, and the kids club were unreal! Whatsapp interactions really good and efficient.

Kind of inflexible. We wanted to have dinner separate of the kids, and they struggled to just simply separate the vouchers so we could eat at different times.

This has to be the worst Hilton I’ve stayed in. If you want an overpriced commercial hub with a Western lifestyle and zero authentic Balinese feel, stay here. Otherwise, avoid it. - Awkward Check-In & Service: We were handed a cold towel and told to sit in the lobby, where a staff member just stared at us until we finally asked if they needed our passports. The staff is mostly international, not local Balinese, and lacked the genuine friendliness experienced everywhere else in Bali. - Unaccommodating Staff: We wanted to buy some of the mango jam we got with room service. Staff wasted 30 minutes going back and forth without giving us a price, only to eventually refuse to sell us any. They wouldn't even offer a single complimentary small jar for our last day. - Safety Hazards & Poor Maintenance: The bathroom door was broken the entire trip. We cut our fingers on it badly, and nobody ever came to fix it or resolve the issue. We also had recurring trouble with room service. - Overpriced, Poor-Quality Food: The food quality is very poor compared to the rest of the island, which is incredibly frustrating given the hiked-up prices they charge on-site. Frustrating Pools: The pools look linked, but they are physically cut off. You can't swim between them; you have to constantly get in and out of the water. -Construction Noise: There is a new hotel being built next door. If you look to the right, the whole place is a work site. - Disruptive Events & Corporate Groups: The hotel constantly hosts private weddings, parties, and corporate events, closing off key areas to guests. You get generic letters from management telling you to essentially "deal with" the noise. You also have to deal with short-stay corporate groups monopolizing the sunbeds and being incredibly loud, clearly acting like they aren't footing the bill.

Room cleaning could have been better

This was our first time in Bali, travelling as a family of four with two young children, and we couldn’t have chosen a more wonderful place to celebrate my birthday. We were looking for comfort, luxury and a family-friendly resort, and Hilton Bali Resort in Nusa Dua exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed and well looked after. The resort is absolutely beautiful, incredibly clean, and very well managed and maintained. The staff were exceptional - warm, attentive and genuinely friendly. They made each of us feel special and seen, and their hospitality made our first Bali experience even more memorable. As it was my birthday, the team kindly organised a beautiful birthday cake, which was such a lovely and thoughtful touch. We stayed in an Executive Suite with lagoon access, and it was everything we could have hoped for. The continental buffet breakfast each morning was fantastic, with so much variety and something for everyone. Staying in an Executive suite also meant we enjoyed complimentary refreshments and canapés throughout the day, as well as complimentary drinks, cocktails and canapés during the evening from 5–7 pm. These little extras made our stay feel even more special. For families, there is so much to enjoy. The resort has multiple swimming pools, and the 30-metre water slide was an absolute hit with our kids! The kids’ club was also fantastic, with plenty of fun activities that kept them entertained and happy. It was wonderful seeing them enjoy themselves so much while we had the chance to relax. There are also several restaurants within the resort, offering plenty of dining options. We especially loved the wood-fired pizzas at The Shore Restaurant - some of the best wood-fired pizzas we’ve ever had! Another lovely touch was the complimentary photo and video session offered during our stay.

There are very few positives to mention, but if I had to find one: the sun loungers are comfortable, although limited in number, and are “reserved” with towels from early in the morning.

Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing, especially considering the price paid and the level of service expected from a 5-star property. The main issue concerns the “all-inclusive” concept. The system is particularly surprising: the package works with small paper vouchers that we have to present when arriving at the restaurant. Only then are we given a specific all-inclusive menu instead of the regular menu, with only a few dishes available. These restrictions should have been clearly explained before booking and before our arrival. This is not simply a different menu: the choice is considerably more limited, and the quantities are limited as well. (See photo.) The most unpleasant part is how this makes you feel as a guest. You arrive at the restaurant, present your little all-inclusive vouchers, and are then given a very limited menu that is different from the one offered to other guests. You almost feel embarrassed, as if you were on some kind of “low-cost” package, when all-inclusive is supposed to be the most premium option. On top of that, the prices of the dishes offered (which are of average quality) are completely out of line with what you would expect in Bali. The condition of the room is also far from what we expected from a 5-star property: an empty minibar, no coffee machine, visible stains on the floor, mold in the bathroom, a broken faucet making the bathtub unusable, and a blocked shower that flooded the entire bathroom. The value for money is therefore particularly disappointing. The property is very expensive compared with other options available in Bali. Moreover, it is located in the middle of nowhere and is relatively isolated, which makes it even more important that the services and facilities provided on-site justify the price paid. As for the staff, they are certainly polite, but unfortunately provide very little actual assistance. In short: avoid this place.

When we first approached the hotel, we were very surprised as to how luxurious it looks. The greeting by the staff was great until we hit the check in desk where a member of staff took us through like a factory check list - we realised her style was the exception to the general greeting rule. We were then put in a room that had construction next to it. We went down to the desk and expressed our concerns and the duty manager was extremely considerate and gave us another room. The pool Villa was out of this world and the most amazing room we had stayed in Bali. So much so, we felt sad to leave it each day and loved being there. The buffet was brilliant and the staff were so friendly- remembered names and also went out of their way to have conversations. For such a luxurious resort, they made us feel at home. The spa was brilliant. The staff were incredible, it's right next to the pool and beach. The prices are reasonable too.

They could have informed us about the construction - although it did work in our favour. If you are out and about on the expansive grounds, water is expensive- UK prices. Other hotels offered free water, so something to consider. Otherwise everything else was just idyllic. Thank you so much. Style, substance, warmth and kindness. Highly recommend

Huge resort, disjointed sections, two lifts to get to pool, very slow lifts, very busy lifts, if you have kids between 6 and 14 this is for you. They will have hundreds of mates to enjoy the resort. If your deaf the noise in the breakfast room will not bother you. Im not deaf but my wife is. Read between the lines. Towels on beds from dawn so never a bed spare.

The hotel was too big its difficult to find your way around the hotel. At night poor lighting . Had a fall coming from the restaurant near the beach. Room service It took the butler 1 hr to bring a bottle of beer.

The pool area

There were large construction works going on next door. Our room was positioned right by them without discussion. We could not enjoy our balcony and our children struggled to sleep. The noise could also be heard loudly in the spa and also by the pool. This should have been communicated and the price adjusted accordingly.

It’s an excellent property in terms of location; staff is very welcoming and friendly. I would give 9/10 for staff due to one bad experience at the reception regarding the food.

Property is outdated and needs maintenance. Security locks; bathroom needs upgrade. Major cleanliness issues were observed; cleaning staff didn’t wear gloves; touched towels after cleaning toilets and used old towels to clean and wipe bathroom floors. This is a huge concern especially if Hilton has no SOP’s in place. Food was pathetic; very limited Indian options with quality of food being the biggest concern (Eg - Paratha had no stuffing; Dosa was cold and so was chutney, Puri - Bhaji was missing), taste wasn’t balanced and it wasn’t authentic Indian food for sure. There were no Chef’s whom you could speak to unlike many other hotels in Bali we experienced previously as well as during this trip. For me I would think twice before staying in Hilton property going forward as they are not meant for Indian tourists.

The location and staff who go out of their way to help and always smiling! It was nice surprise to have a welcome cake in the room for our anniversary which was lovely. The restaurants although over priced are good and there is so much choice for breakfast you will not know where to start. If you are looking for an all inclusive resort then it is good. The 2 weddings whilst we were there were loud but also added charm to the hotel.

For 5 star hotel it felt it was a bit run down. The wardrobes creaked so much and there was a problem with the sink which they fixed very quickly. Not sure why the soap and cream is by the toilet and not by the handwashing basin? There is also no dressing table although the magnified mirror in the bathroom was helpful but not ideal.

Weddings music was annoying almost every night in the resort. Unexpected from a 5 stars resort that we visited for a calm holiday on the beach
