Having room with pool access is the way to go for quick relived from the hot weather. Breakfast was excellent food was always changing everyday and staffs was very polite and kind. The room was nice, spaces and clean.

Nothing. Everything was great. The staffing was kind everywhere we went, from relaxing at the spa with my family to eating out at every restaurant on the property. On the last day the staff at Beach Grill surprised us with birthday song for my daughter and even moved us to a table with better view.

Actually, everything! The staff are absolutely phenomenal. Everyone is incredibly polite, attentive, and always smiling. They truly give you that warm feeling of coming home, which makes your stay feel extra special. The entire resort is spotless, both inside and out. Breakfast is amazing, with a huge variety of choices and dishes from many different cuisines, so there is something for everyone. The pool and beach area have such a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere — the perfect place to unwind and enjoy your holiday. From the beautiful surroundings to the wonderful service, everything has exceeded our expectations. We have truly loved our stay here and would absolutely come back! ❤️

This hotel absolutely impressed me and went beyond my expectations. In each venue, the teams were making you feel comfortable and were extremely attentive, smiling and very dedicated to their tasks. The rooms were very spacious and beautifully maintained (somewhat hard with the high level of humidity). The Foods in all of the restaurants was just fabulous. I had a Suite then a smaller room as I needed too extend my stay for a few more hours. The Breakfast was very generous and displayed a large selection of different items (maybe the Juices station could be improved with Freshly pressed juices instead of boxed ones), but the highlight of my stay was definitely my belated birthday celebration - the reason of my visit to this hotel. The team went above and beyond the entire evening and the foods was nothing shorter than excellent. I would like to give a very special thank you to VELIA who was absolutely fabulous, went above and beyond for any of my concerns and most importantly surprised me with a beautiful Bouquet of Flowers for my birthday and made sure my evening would be unforgettable. Mission accomplished. I'm already planning my next visit to your premises (I come to Bali every year but normally stay in Ubud) - but from now on, I'm convinced that a detour by The Ritz Carlton before to return home is mandatory. Kuddos to your exceptional teams in all the departments but especially for all of your Chefs because the foods in all the venues is absolutely DIVINE! Thank you very much again for my wonderful stay in your premises and see you very soon.

The pool is disappointing. The pool for children is big, for adults smaller.. they are not well separated so you can not fully enjoy the pool. Ocean is almost impossible to swim, especially afternoon. Big tides remove the swimmable parts of the ocean and leaves only big walkable areas of sand, pebbles and see weed (Caution, while walking you may be hurt by see stones or shells). In summary, If you come here to enjoy the ocean and swim, think twice, it is absolutely not an option for you..

Ein außergewöhnlich schöner Aufenthalt Wir waren während unseres Aufenthalts im The Ritz-Carlton, Bali außerordentlich zufrieden. Das wunderschöne Resort ist sehr großzügig und stilvoll angelegt und bietet an vielen Stellen eine beeindruckende Aussicht auf das Meer. Unsere Zimmer waren luxuriös ausgestattet, großzügig und gleichzeitig sehr gemütlich. Auch kulinarisch wurden wir rundum verwöhnt: Das Frühstück war wirklich außergewöhnlich gut und von hoher Qualität. Unser Tipp: unbedingt im BEJANA frühstücken! Auch darüber hinaus gibt es zu jeder Tageszeit hervorragendes Essen. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den außergewöhnlich freundlichen und aufmerksamen Service. Das gesamte Personal war durchweg herzlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend – und zwar auf eine sehr angenehme, authentische Art. Ein kleines Beispiel, das uns besonders positiv in Erinnerung geblieben ist: Nach unserer Abreise erhielten wir noch eine E-Mail, dass wir etwas im Zimmer vergessen hatten, verbunden mit dem Angebot, es uns nach Hause nachzusenden. Für uns sind es genau diese kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten, die echten Fünf-Sterne-Service ausmachen. Auch am Strand war der Service hervorragend. Es wurde jederzeit dafür gesorgt, dass wir eine Liege bekommen, sodass wir uns darum nie Gedanken machen mussten. Die gesamte Anlage ist wunderschön gestaltet und sehr gepflegt. Auch das sehr gut ausgestattete Gym möchten wir positiv hervorheben. Ebenso gibt es eine wunderschöne Bar mit einer wirklich einzigartigen Aussicht – ein perfekter Ort, um den Tag bei einem Drink ausklingen zu lassen. Auch die Lage des Hotels hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Ritz-Carlton liegt ruhig und wunderschön direkt am Meer, gleichzeitig ist man aber sehr schnell und unkompliziert im Bali Collection in Nusa Dua. Mit einem GRAB ist man in wenigen Minuten dort. Das Bali Collection bietet eine große Auswahl an Restaurants und Geschäften. Besonders angenehm fanden wir, dass man dort zahlreiche Möglichkeiten hat, sehr gut und gleichzeitig

Der Strand ist aufgrund seiner natürlichen Beschaffenheit teilweise etwas schwierig zu begehen. Dafür kann das Hotel selbstverständlich nichts. Zudem wird an der Küste leider immer wieder einmal angeschwemmter Abfall angespült. Positiv ist allerdings hervorzuheben, dass das Hotel sehr bemüht ist und den Strand regelmäßig bzw. kontinuierlich reinigt. Der Strand- und Poolbereich ist naturgemäß sehr gut besucht und insbesondere am Pool sind viele Familien mit Kindern anzutreffen. Wer absolute Ruhe sucht, sollte dies bei der Wahl des Hotels berücksichtigen. Gleichzeitig möchten wir positiv erwähnen, dass man zu jeder Zeit eine Liege bekommen hat – trotz der Größe und Auslastung des Resorts. Auch für ausgedehnte Strandspaziergänge ist die Lage nur eingeschränkt geeignet, da der Strand zu beiden Seiten begrenzt ist. Wer einen kilometerlangen, weitläufigen Strand zum Spazierengehen sucht, wird hier daher nicht ganz auf seine Kosten kommen. Das Frühstücksrestaurant im unteren Bereich haben wir persönlich nicht genutzt, da es zu den Frühstückszeiten auf uns sehr voll und entsprechend lebhaft wirkte. Wir haben uns daher für das Frühstück im BEJANA entschieden, das für uns ohnehin eines der Highlights des Aufenthalts war.

The resort is very nice and well maintained. The rooms are spacious.

Breakfast felt extremely hectic and overcrowded, with long queues and very little sense of order. The hotel is very large and frequently accommodates big (Chinese) tour groups, which made the breakfast experience particularly chaotic. The lobby is also quite a distance from some of the rooms, making it inconvenient to move around the property. On a positive note, the kids’ club was nice and was one of the better aspects of the hotel.

Ritz never disappoints. Whatever you might expect from such a name - you get that and beyond. Incredible breakfast, dream-like bed, spacious rooms, luxury feeling - it has it all. Highlights: - kids club! If you travel with a small kid - please seriously consider it, we loved the facility. Ritz Kids has their own (warm!) swimming pool with a big slide, and we’ve happily lost our 3 years old there. - breakfast Incredible selection, brilliant service, awesome quality - service Goes without saying, very very good - spa&gym Serious and well organized, we’ve enjoyed it a lot

We’ve had an unpleasant experience with Indonesian restaurant of the Hotel - two people of our group got “Bali belly” after a dinner, but, I guess, it can happen to anybody and everywhere. We’ve got the apologies from the hotel, perhaps an additional gesture of attention for us could be nice but altogether it’s not a problem. Please note that big pools can be quite cold, same goes for the private pools in the room

Très décevant pour un hôtel présenté comme un 5 étoiles. La propreté laisse clairement à désirer : ménage mal fait, taches un peu partout et espaces qui donnent une impression générale de saleté. Les transats sur la plage sont vétustes et sales. L’humidité dans les chambres est également un vrai problème, avec une odeur très désagréable. Nous avons dû changer deux fois de chambre à cause de cela. Les draps n’ont pas été changés pendant toute notre semaine sur place, ce qui est inadmissible pour un établissement de cette catégorie. Les chambres sont vieillissantes, le mobilier est usé et l’ensemble ne correspond absolument pas au prix demandé. Si vous avez l’habitude de séjourner dans de vrais hôtels 5 étoiles, vous risquez d’être très déçus. À ce niveau de tarif, mieux vaut louer une villa de luxe ou choisir un établissement réellement à la hauteur.

We had a wonderful family stay. The resort is beautiful, peaceful, and exceptionally well maintained. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the food was excellent, and the service was outstanding. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Mr. Go, Mr. Emanuele, Mario, and Mira, as well as the entire team, for their kindness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality. They made us feel truly welcome and ensured our family had a memorable stay. We look forward to returning in the future.

Everything but most of all the hard working staff that truly went out of their way at every opportunity to go above and beyond and serve with kindness and sincerity. The beachfront is stunning. The grounds are maintained with the highest level of care and consideration. The food is exceptional at Senses and is a must add on for the stay for the buffet it is truly like no other. Bejana is my fave for dinner location. Breezes lounge is a stunning view and exceptional drinks. The spa made me feel such deep gratitude for my life. The ladies on the beach clean the plastic and refuse all day and groom the beach so beautifully with such care and dedication.

This is the splurge that is worth putting on your bucket list. It’s our first time at the Ritz and this stay made our 15th wedding anniversary a core memory. Every staff member serves with such sincere desire to go above and beyond. No request is taken lightly. The food, the grounds, the beachfront and the beautiful rooms and amenities are the best we’ve ever experienced. From the Diptique amenities in the rooms, glass water bottles, people cleaning the plastics and grooming the beachfront daily, the scent, the fumigation… zero mosquitoes, the service and exceptional food at the buffet, Ayu especially at Senses always cheerful and kind and thoughtful with the special touches and attention, the amazing spa services, the cabanas and just everything was beyond my expectations and reminded me of how staff at Disneyland don’t let go of a kids hug till they do… this place is like a spiritual hug that reminds one to be grateful for what life brings and to appreciate all the fortune in life to be able to experience the Ritz in Bali. Sooksma Ritz!

We had a really nice 5 nights. It’s quite a large resort with a number of restaurants and a beautiful lounge bar. Our room was the Junior Suite which I believe is the lowest level of room however it was spacious and we were lucky to be on the top (6th) floor of our block. As you walk in there is a make up table, walk in wardrobe then bathroom area. There are sliding doors between the bedroom area and the bathroom however it is not the most private bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and they made up the sofa bed for our son at no extra charge. A separate rollaway was chargeable however the sofa bed was perfectly adequate for our 6 year old. The balcony had a day bed and a table with two chairs. All very comfortable and as you would expect from a RC hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, if anything a little too much. Though I won’t complain about that. They could teach some European and US hotels a thing or two. One point to be aware of is the distance you have to walk. From getting dropped at reception you have to go through the lobby, past some shops to the lift down to the beach level from the cliff top. There is then a buggy service that will take you to your room. It’s not a short journey and got a little tiring after a while. Our son loved the kids club. They put on some great activities for him and the pool slide was a big hit. He was even able to have his lunch in there which is a nice touch. One area where I think this hotel is let down is the pool/beach area. It is starting to show its age. The pool isn’t particularly kid friendly and isn’t big enough for a resort this size. It was busy when we were there (2 weddings in one weekend) and it was a struggle to find somewhere to sit either by the pool or beach. The staff did do their best to help. The loungers were a bit old, rusty and not that comfy which was a surprise considering how comfy the rest of the hotel is. This area needs to be refurbished to match the rest of the resort and bring it up to the standard you expect from a RC property. We didn’t have a meal in the hotel except one breakfast which was large, had a nice selection but was the usual breakfast you would expect from a resort of this style. Overall a good hotel that’s starting to show its age slightly. Friendly and helpful staff and the provisions for kids start to make up for it though. Would we return? Maybe , but we would consider other options.

The hotel is a tropical heaven. Beautiful clean accomodation overlooking the beach. We enjoyed the surroundings including walks on the clean sandy beach, the hydrotherapy pool, the Grill Beach Restaurant, the beautiful Bejana Restaurant with its traditional Indonesian food. The breakfast at the Bejana Restaurant was a daily celebration. The chefs in all restaurants catered for our granddaughters special dietary needs with great attention and generosity. Chef Kojong Hariyasa f&b manager made our stay memorable with his welcoming smile and constant attention. We cant thank him enough. We are also grateful to Chef Raymond and Chef Adi. The staff at the resort remembered our family from our previous yearly visits and presented them with traditional gifts which was unmatched great gesture. This hotel is our permanent destination in Bali. The duty manager vMIra Novita was also kind andn helpful in all.

We spent five days and four nights at this hotel and, unfortunately, left feeling disappointed. The biggest issue is that this property appears to be primarily focused on conventions, weddings, and package tour groups rather than individual travellers. During our stay there were three weddings, and because the event space is located between the hotel buildings, there was no escaping the loud music, which continued until around midnight. After the events ended, staff spent hours dismantling stages, tables, and equipment, creating noise until nearly 2:00 a.m. The disappointing part is that during the day the hotel is actually wonderful. The staff are friendly and professional, the beach is beautiful, the grounds are well maintained, and the food is very good. It has all the ingredients of a relaxing holiday—until the evening arrives. Our six-year-old son struggled to sleep because of the constant noise, and despite changing rooms once, and the hotel kindly offering another room change, apologising, and providing a financial credit, the problem could not really be avoided because the events affected much of the property. After travelling 26 hours to reach Bali, we had hoped for a relaxing family holiday. Instead, by the time we checked out, we felt more exhausted than when we arrived. My advice to anyone considering this hotel—or many of the larger five-star resorts in Nusa Dua—is to check whether conventions, weddings, or large events are scheduled during your stay. These hotels generate significant business from large groups, and at times it feels as though individual family travellers are expected to work around those events. Restaurants and facilities may close or be reserved for private functions, and the evening noise can significantly impact your stay. If you are attending a conference or wedding, this hotel is likely a great choice. However, if you're looking for a peaceful family holiday or a quiet getaway, you may want to consider a property that is less focused on large events.This version is factual and balanced, which generally makes reviews more credible while still conveying how significantly the noise affected your family's stay.

Swim up room included 3 rooms, very small and pointless area with no sun into area throughout day. Breakfast service terrible, 45 mins for coffee and had to reorder numerous times. Same with some meals at breakfast. Room awful smell like stale grass, moist bedsheets that smell, toilet broke twice, old worn rooms rust in areas. Avoid 6102

Staff were exceptional!! So helpful and friendly. Food at breakfast was amazing, so much selection and tasty. The facilities are the best we’ve ever seen, so well maintained and clean. We were blown away by some of the facilities. We rarely left the hotel as we spent most of our days at the pool where the staff were so welcoming and helpful.

Not hotels fault but just to be aware if staying in lagoon suite, we were relaxing on our patio when a monkey came down and tried to get into our room. They hissed at us when we tried to shoo them off. While there’s not much the hotel can do in this regard it did spoil our rooms full experience as the more we looked, they were frequently going onto balconies.

I had a fantastic three night stay at The Cliff Villa. Before booking, I was deciding between The Apurva Kempinski and The Ritz Carlton, as the two resorts are located next to each other. In the end, I chose The Ritz Carlton because of its outstanding reputation for service. It turned out to be the right decision. The service truly lived up to every expectation. The beautiful surroundings and thoughtfully designed landscaping made every walk to the beach peaceful and enjoyable. There were also plenty of beach loungers, so finding a comfortable spot was never an issue. The breakfast spread was excellent, with an impressive variety of choices, and the staff paid close attention to every detail. A special thank you to Dhea from the Spa, who found my wallet and immediately alerted the management. I had no idea I had lost it, and the team handled everything professionally, ensuring it was safely returned to me. Their honesty and efficiency saved me a great deal of worry and anxiety. My sincere thanks also go to Chef Aidi, who took great care to ensure our vegan diet was fully catered for. Every meal was thoughtfully prepared and genuinely enjoyable. This restaurant provided a great view of the ocean and we caught a whale leaping again and again from the sea! See attached photo. Last but certainly not least, thank you to Darma and the entire team. It takes dedication, patience and teamwork to deliver such consistently exceptional service. Every interaction reflected genuine care and professionalism. You have elevated The Ritz Carlton to the top of our list of places to stay in Bali. After this experience, we will always give your resort first priority over other hotels whenever we return. Thank you for making our umpteenth visit to Bali such a memorable and enjoyable one.

This was a very pleasant stay! The room was clean, tidy, and decorated in a warm and comfortable style. The bedding was soft, allowing for a great rest. I would also like to extend my special thanks to my butler, DWIPA, for the exceptional service. The service staff were enthusiastic and attentive, making us feel cared for from check-in to check-out. The hotel's location is also very convenient, with complete surrounding facilities. The overall value for money is high, and I recommend it to friends traveling here.

We liked the food, especially fish burger at the Missoni Beach Bar.

First of all our room was not ready at check in time. The room was out dated. There was a strange odour coming from the vanity. The beds were firm and the pillows were uncomfortable. The semi-private pool was cold and there were monkeys on our terrace. In the restaurants, the waiting time for the food was long and they forgot our order. The sun beds were also out dated and dirty and the beach towels were smelly.

The Ritz-Carlton is luxury at its finest. From the breathtaking ocean views to the impeccable service, every moment exceeded our expectations. A special thank you to Made Sukadana and Yvonne for their warm hospitality and thoughtful care throughout our stay. Their attention to detail truly made the experience even more memorable. We stayed in a Pavilion Suite with a private pool, and it was elegant, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was exceptional, and dining at Bejana was one of the highlights of our trip. A beautiful resort with world-class hospitality. We would return in a heartbeat.

We stayed at the Ritz-Carlton Nusa Dua during a particularly busy time when the hotel was at nearly 100% occupancy due to two large weddings, so my perspective is certainly shaped by that bustling atmosphere. Overall, it was a good stay, but it definitely has a distinct vibe. The property itself is decent and our suite was perfectly reasonable, easily meeting our minimum requirements for space and cleanliness. However, the hotel comes across more as a high-end, corporate business resort rather than a tranquil, ultra-luxurious escape. For a point of comparison, we visited the nearby Westin Nusa Dua during our trip and actually found their property to feel a bit more polished. When it comes to dining, the breakfast buffet offers a massive variety of options, but the food itself was just standard—nothing to write home about. One notable inconvenience for families or longer stays is the hotel's policy on outside food delivery (like Grab). The staff will not bring food deliveries to your room. This meant we had to call for a buggy and ride all the way to the lobby to collect our food, which easily added 5 to 15 minutes to the process. A helpful suggestion for management would be to offer a liability waiver that guests can sign upon check-in to allow direct-to-room delivery, making things much easier. Despite the somewhat corporate feel and the strict delivery policy, the staff's hospitality was a high point. We were incredibly grateful when the team went out of their way to bring fresh aloe vera from the spa when my daughter needed it—a thoughtful gesture that we truly appreciated. Ultimately, this is a very good property, but temper your expectations if you are looking for a quintessential, over-the-top "Ritzy" experience. It feels much more comparable to a refined InterContinental or a high-end Westin.

I couldn't be more happier and thankful for their help in securing a "YES!". Furthermore, the room was beautiful with a Junior Suite that overlooked the resort & restaurant, the bed was super comfortable, the amenities was fantastic & best of all, the customer service that the Ritz has going with their staff is hands down the best you will get anywhere in Bali. I highly recommend staying here as you will get every penny's worth. The pool was good, nothing extraordinary but again, the friendliness of the staff securing you a bed, offers for drinks & food just make it all worthwhile. Plus, because the resort is massive getting anywhere other than walking is done with buggies which you can call from your building or hailing one down. The complimentary activity, at least the one we got was the 30 minute photoshoot which was fantastic for a complimentary service and the photos came out amazing. Coming back to Bali I will definitely stay again. Thank you!

The general atmosphere of the resort was quiet and relaxing, the type of resort where everyone is just in a peaceful mood rather than the hustle & bustle of some other resorts. The Ritz does what it does best, and creates an atmosphere of peace & relaxation. The pool was good, nothing extraordinary but again, the friendliness of the staff securing you a bed, offers for drinks & food just make it all worthwhile. Plus, because the resort is massive getting anywhere other than walking is done with buggies which you can call from your building or hailing one down. The complimentary activity, at least the one we got was the 30 minute photoshoot which was fantastic for a complimentary service and the photos came out amazing. Coming back to Bali I will definitely stay again. Thank you!

Upon arrival, was greeted by a young intern, told me to wait while they are checking my luggage? Then ushered to the balcony and was not allowed to check in, mentioned about long queue (no queue at all) and insist that I listened to him explaining facilities. I was in a hurry because I have 3 pm make up appointment and it was 2:30 already. I had to scold him to let me check in. Told that check in time is 3, give us free drink and wait in lounge. Waited till 3:30, still no room. Managed to go back to office and insisted on getting my room, finally got my room at 4. After let the reception talk directly to my make up artist whom treaten to leave because it was way passed their waiting time of 30 minutes. It waa tiring and disastrous check in process Room was not ready on time, cant check in until 4pm. Aircon is not cool. Ask technician to help to set up, still no change Breakfast selection is poor, juices are tasteless Staff perform service out of duty, not sincere

The property has amazing beautiful gardens and nice clean beach and view of the ocean the staff is very friendly especially Rendra who works in the beach and grill bar always so helpful with anything we liked

I didnt like that they were very slow at check in. We were there at 15.00 and we waited untill 16.45 to be brought t to our room

Our trip was super amazing and our family had a great time. I especially appreciate the hospitality of all the employees and how they put their hearts for making our stay unforgettable. I truly want to thank Angga in the SENSES dining area because he made sure we were taken care of in all matters of our stay and made sure we had everything we needed. I would come back to Bali and definitely stay at the Ritz because of Angga at SENSES!! The world needs more people like him!!!! Others I would like to mention were Ari, Nova, Kadek and many others that I can’t recall to name. I really enjoyed my holiday time here and would return again. The live music at the Missoni was wonderful to enjoy also.

I had an amazing vacation in Bali at the Ritz Carlton Resort and Hotel. The food was exceptional. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The beach was so great with soft sand and crystal blue water…which was a bonus during our stay. The staff was so friendly and welcoming during my entire stay with my family. We had a great time. Want to give a special shoutout to Angga, who we met at the Senses Restaurant, made sure our visit stayed exceptional with his fantastic customer service. Yes, I will definitely come back to Bali and stay here. Hoping Angga will still be here when me and my family return to Bali in the future.

We stayed in one of the larger suites (125m2 ??) and it was sooo spacious. Furnishings were excellent. Staff are amazing. Restaurants and spa are very good. Only thing letting this hotel down is the substandard maintenance of external areas. It needs a repaint and there are lots of cracked and damaged walls, tiles, roads, and water damage everywhere. Mismatched silicone joint repairs and white patches in the pool. Doesn’t really affect the experience but it’s a poor reflection on the management of this once magnificent resort. Prices are in line with the room rates. Staff are wonderful.

The whole place is like a maze, huge and beautiful. The breakfast is one of the best I have ever had.

The room is old, peeling and not well cleaned, also it’s humid and cold even I turn if the AC.
