The location, the proximity to the sea

I am allergic to dust mites. All rooms have carpet. I had a strong allergic reaction (even if they changed my room and cleaned them) and I had to leave the hotel. They did not agree to give me a refund even if I didd not stay at their hotel for the last two nights. I would never come back to this hotel.

Luxury and excellent staff and pool and views

Our stay at the Delta Hotel was absolutely incredible from start to finish. Everything about the experience exceeded our expectations. The room was utterly delightful beautifully presented, exceptionally comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The attention to detail throughout the hotel was fantastic, and the facilities were excellent. What really stood out, though, was the hospitality. Every member of staff was warm, welcoming, friendly and genuinely eager to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. A very special shout-out must go to Carmen, who made our stay even more memorable. She is an absolute credit to the hotel and truly deserves her position as manager. Her professionalism, warmth and genuine care for guests shine through effortlessly, and it’s clear that she flourishes in her role. Carmen is genuinely a tremendous asset to the Delta Hotel, and her personal touch made an already wonderful stay feel extra special. From the cleanliness and facilities to the service, atmosphere and outstanding hospitality, everything was simply amazing. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would happily return without hesitation. Highly recommended!

Great location, lobby and pool/beach area are lovely. Breakfast was delicious and dinner was really good. The staff was mostly friendly and helpful.

The rooms are pretty dated. They don’t really match the decor of the lobby and surrounding areas.

Чудове розташування готелю з власним пляжем і шезлонгами та достатнім місцем для всіх гостей на пляжі, поруч з готелем безліч крамниць та кафе, де можна пообідати або повечеряти. Неймовірний персонал, готовий завжди допомогти в усіх питаннях, чудові комфортні кімнати, де вистачало простору і було комфортно відпочивати, особливо коли є балкон і вид на море. Ми майже щовечора пили вино на балконі і дивились на морські хвилі і це було неймовірно. Також чудово те що поруч немає жодного шуму від дороги. Нам усе дуже сподобалось і ми ідеально провели відпустку, рекомендую цей готель якщо хочете зупинитися в Джардіні Наксос, він найкращий з того що можна там обрати для відпочинку

На сніданках персонал не встигав своєчасно обслуговувати замовлення гостей. Видно було що вони дуже старалися але така кількість персоналу на кухні не встигала фізично опрацювати всі замовлення гостей за столами тож ми після двох невдалих спроб, коли нам принесли омлет вже коли ми закінчили свій сніданок, просто нічого не замовляли і користувалися шведською лінією яка була дуже непогано наповнена

Bardzo dobry hotel na rodzinny wypoczynek. Świetne położenie tuż przy morzu, prywatna plaża, duży basen i dużo przestrzeni wokół hotelu. Nasz pokój był naprawdę ogromny, czysty i wygodny. Bardzo dobre i bardzo bogate śniadania, a kolacje w formule HB okazały się wręcz znakomite – duży wybór i bardzo wysoki poziom kuchni. Piękny ogród i przyjemna wakacyjna atmosfera. Chętnie byśmy wrócili.

Sam budynek i część wystroju mają już swoje lata i przydałoby się odświeżenie. Szkoda też, że basen zamykany jest już o 18:30 a plaża nie ma piasku tylko kamyki, ale to są drobiazgi. Nie mam dużych wymagań I ogólnie mi się podobało.

Everything was exactly as we expected. The breakfast was delicious, and we had a wonderful and relaxing stay. We truly enjoyed our time at the hotel and would be happy to come back again. Highly recommended!

Rooms super outdated, smelled like cigarettes and mold. Bathroom dirty. Staff super rude - had to fight for my life to get a proper room with a shower. Got told there’s no rooms available while the people next to me got upgraded. When we asked for slippers and a bathrobe we got yelled at. Same thing with coffee at breakfast - getting a shot of espresso with a cup of ice was too much to ask for

Der Empfang war sehr nett, uns wurde sofort ein Parkplatz angeboten und mit dem Gepäck geholfen. Unsere 2 Zimmer waren trotz verfrühter Anreise beziehbar. Das Hotel hat seinen eigene Charme aus neuem Style und altem. Insgesamt ehr schick aber auch schon in die Jahre gekommen. Lobby und Restaurants sind neu renoviert. Gutes Frühstück, Eierspeisen können a la carte bestellt werden. Sehr gute Getränke an der Bar. Getränke Service am Privatstrand, sehr komfortabel. Sun downer deck , sehr entspannt zu sitzen. Gute Lage um weiterer Restaurants und Bars zu besuchen.

Alte und kleine Bäder. Pool schließt um 17:30, ein Teil des Privatstrandes schließt um 18:00 mann kann dann aber auf die andere Seite umziehen wenn mann will.

la spiaggia era ben servita.

la colazione molto scarsa, poco adatta ad un 5 stelle, varieta' solo per i primi arrivati. il mare era bello, subito molto profondo, non adatto a bambini piccoli e a chi ha qualche difficolta' motoria. il bagno della camera era poco attrezzato, la vasca da bagno era alta e molto scivolosa. il menu' della sera e' stato fatto per una settimana sempre uguale, senza alcuna varieta'. le ultime due sere siamo andati fuori a cena.

Great pool and beach front location, 15 min walk to main beach promenade. I had a car so easy to get around and to Taormina. Liked the idea of a quad room which really helped.

Cortesia, pulizia, servizi eccellenti (dalle due spiagge private alla palestra, alla spa), ampie camere. Ottima posizione. Buffet colazione strepitoso! Ho apprezzato che nel prezzo stanza fossero compresi lettini e ombrellone in spiaggia e teli, oltre all'accesso gratuito nella spa una volta al giorno (bagno turco, sauna finlandese, cromoterapia, docce emozionali...) e alla palestra. Eccellente anche l'assistenza dei bagnini.

La spiaggia è costuituita da ciotoli e pure da qualche scarto edile. La composizione, evidentemente, non consente di rastellare a fine giornata per eliminare mozziconi (accumulati anche sotto la postazione del bagnino) e qualche piccolo frammento di rifiuto. Il servizio del personale bar consegna e ritira cibo e bevande con attenzione. Considerato il livello della struttura, si può suggerire di consegnare agli ombrelloni posaceneri (anche biodegradabili) per costringere i clienti a svuotarli nell'immondizia contestualmente alla riconsegna dei teli. Altro piccolo elemento da migliorare - ma presumo sia causata da una carenza infrastrutturale di fibra nel territorio, la connessione internet e la rete wifi, molto lente.

Its on the beach.

The TV didn’t had no internet or streaming possibilities. The freezer in the room didn’t worked. We changed it and the other one died in 2 days afterwards. For breakfast, the tomatos that were server every day for 5 days were mixed with not fresh tomatoes (from previous day) and they tasted really bad. In Italy, not having fresh tomatoes is a crime!

The room decor is a little outdated, also being in Sicily, I would have expected better choices of coffee in the room and not just instant coffee. Seems this service is not catered for tourists who enjoy a good espresso when in the room!

Cudowna lokalizacja przy samej plaży z widokiem na Etnę i góry.. W hotelu jest mnóstwo przytulnych miejsc do odpoczynku. Nietuzinkowy design. Komfortowy, duży pokój. Bardzo wygodne materace i miękka pościel. Doskonałe śniadania.

Die Anlage ist sehr schön, wenn auch teilweise etwas heruntergekommen. Die Zimmer sollten mal renoviert werden.

La cuisine

The room was a good size, clean and well lit. The view was beautiful, overlooking the beach. The Beach was not too overcrowded and the sea was fresh and clear. The breakfast was just amazing. It had a huge variety and the items were fresh and tasty. Not one bad remark on that. The whole vibe of the place was relaxed and the staff were all very very helpful and friendly.

The Pool was a bit on the small side and the water got warm and over the day the water was not that clean but it was good that we could go to the beach so no fun was lost. Also there was little shade near the pool area but we got there early and managed a spot.

We stayed from 1.7.26-8.7.26 when Mount Etna was putting on a display. The hotel was excellent in many ways. We had a fifth floor sea view room. There was also a view of Mount Etna from the picture windows in the corridor where you could watch the volcanic activity from a distance. The bed was very comfortable. The room whilst classic in decor (which we like) was very well equipped including tea and coffee facilities and an iron, hairdryer etc. The cleaners did a good job. The room included an allocated beach bed, and towels were available from the beach hut. As other have said the beach is pebbly so sea shoes needed. Breakfast was excellent, great selection of cakes, breads, fruit and salads and could order omlettes etc. Staff were professional. There were restaurants over the road, but we mainly walked into the main part of the town for meals approx 20 minutes walk. Visit to Taormina a must, easily done on the local or city bus. The only negative was that drinks in the hotel were very expensive - I understand that there were standards to maintain however we would have liked to have sat in the bar or outside in the evenings but it was lacking in atmosphere and a little expensive, so went to the little cocktail bar along the road instead to people watch.

Immer freie Liegen am Strand und generell wenig los aufgrund des eigenen Hotelstrandes, sehr nettes Personal, gutes Frühstück und Lage zentral um zu Fuß gut unterschiedliche Restaurants zu erreichen. Auch für Ausflüge nach Taormina und Ätna und Alcantara Schlicht gut gelegen. Täglich frisches Wasser im Zimmer. Gym gut ausgestattet.

Really nice room as we were I think Gold Member upgraded. Hotel is nice with a good pool and location is amazing with Mt. Etna right there in the background as you enjoy the seaside experience. Our room had a balcony which faced the ocean and Etna so in the evening you could watch Etna eruptions with their glowing red lava spouts. Overall good experience. One let down was the restaurant where they had only in person taking orders so the entire restaurant had people waiting 45+ mins to place an order.

Le personnel exceptionnel de gentillesse, toute la journée aux petits soins pour nous. Les chambres immenses et les lits immenses. La piscine et la plage avec une vue imprenable. Buffet du petit déjeuner varié et au top avec commandes d’omelettes personnalisées et possibilité de prendre à l’emporter pour les enfants qui dorment 😂.

Mes enfants ont une chambre avec une petite véranda au lieu d’une terrasse ouverte et l’air y est étouffant. C’est dommage. Si on sort sur la terrasse et qu’on ferme entièrement la porte-fenêtre, on ne peut plus ouvrir et on reste coincé dehors. La salle de bain manque de crochets et tablettes pour déposer nos affaires. Les places à la piscine sont très vite prises.

Staff, no garage, AC not very effective and the hotel desperately needs an upgrade. It is still furnished with the American type of bombastic furniture. The balcony door locks you out.

Nice hotel with a nice beach not too far away from the main Towns five minutes in a taxi the rooms are quite dated in thebathroom is like a death trap no handles for getting in and out the shower with doubles as a bath my wife fell over and quite badly injured herself

This is a great hotel with excellent staff in an amazing location right on the beach underneath the majestic Mount Etna. When we arrived, having booked and paid for 6 nights b&b on Hotels.com, we were underwhelmed by the room. There was a really strong smell of airfreshener/carpet cleaner and the decor was in need of a refresh - wall paper peeling and with holes in obvious places, the balcony was in need of a lick of paint, there was no walk-in shower as shown in the pics on the Hotels.com website. No bathroom amenities like toothbrush or razor or showercap. There was a bathtub in the ensuite bathroom with a good strong shower, but with deep sides, which would be difficult to negotiate for anyone with mobility issues in getting in and out. When we rang down to reception to see if we could change to a room with a walk-in shower we were told that those rooms were "for handicapped people"...so we declined. There was a mini refrigerator and a safe and also tea/coffee making facility. There was a full size ironing board and iron. The bed was huge and really comfortable- we slept really well. The sea view from the room and balcony is stunning. There is a view of Mount Etna from the corridor outside the room. The housekeeping staff are excellent- especially Maria- who made sure we had plenty of towels and the room was kept perfectly clean throughout our stay, also 2 containers of water each day. The breakfast was excellent with a huge choice- cooked and cold items, plenty of fruits, delicious fresh bread and pastries. Absolutely delicious omelettes cooked to order by speedy chefs. Really good strong coffee served to the table or from machine. Plenty of staff in the breakfast room provided an efficient and memorable service- especially on the veranda when we were lucky to get seats outside to have breakfast on 3 mornings. It's a stunning location. The private beach area is well maintained and there are several lifeguards on duty who are diligent in their work. You will need swimming shoes if you don't like the feel of pebbles, as there is no sand. The pool area is lovely and the pool itself is very refreshing and very well maintained. The hotel guests would benefit greatly by having a kids pool area separate to an adults pool area. It was very busy while we were there with lots of children enjoying the pool, but not entirely relaxing for adult guests. However, the lifeguard was doing his best - many parents these days seem to switch off and let the children do as they wish. This is no fault of the hotel. We enjoyed a day on the Hop-on-hop-off tour ("See-City") which was exciting and enjoyable- up to Castlemola and Taormina. A fantastic day out. There are plenty of reasonably priced excellent restaurants just across the road from the hotel. All in all, an excellent stay. We would highly recommend it.

A very spacious hotel with impeccable facilities. Staff is polite and courteous.

Little details, but there were no slippers in the room, which was carpeted. The rooms still have baths that you need to climb into and not showers. The furniture is rather dark and old-fashioned.

I feel for the price that there should be table service at the pool and the beach. As a solo traveller, if was very hard to keep my space without leaving valuables. Even a QR code sunbed service would be better than none. You can't call it a beach club without table service.

Hotel location is good. The hotel was very clean, with comfortable rooms although the bathroom was small. The staff were friendly and in the most helpful. Breakfast choice was good, however the dinner menu was limited and never changed so we ended up eating out. On the one occasion we had dinner it was very bland and beige with no garnish etc.When we asked if we could change to lunch each day the hotel would not allow this. More flexibility would have been appreciated. I would advise travellers to opt for bed & breakfast

Great location, easy to travel to taormina by bus or taxi. Good lunchtime and dinner restaurants across the road. Lovely beach and lots of sunbeds there. Breakfast staff were friendly and worked very hard.

Breakfast was good but not amazing as I would expect in a Marriott. No bean to cup coffee machines or an egg station, you have to order but noone tells you this. Bar service wasn't good,- poor watery cocktails by the pool and poor service in the evening bar. Not enough sunbeds and towels were left and not removed by staff. Expected better from a Marriott.

When we checked in, the staff took more than 4100 euro from my Mastercard. When we checked out yesterday, another staff didn’t release my credit but instead asking me to pay for the actual bill which is around 3499euro. Try to explain and his boss or colleague tried to explain to him also but still they can’t release my credit 4100. This kind of operation is not proper and not understandable. As it causes me directly can’t use my credit again while we are really need it. Due to the Etna eruption, only God knows how long we have to hang around in Sicily before we can go home. And don’t feel any help or assistance from the hotel.

The breakfast was excellent with a huge choice- cooked and cold items, plenty of fruits, delicious fresh bread and pastries. Absolutely delicious omelettes cooked to order by speedy chefs. Really good strong coffee served to the table or from machine. Plenty of staff in the breakfast room provided an efficient and memorable service- especially on the veranda when we were lucky to get seats outside to have breakfast on 3 mornings. It's a stunning location. The private beach area is well maintained and there are several lifeguards on duty who are diligent in their work. You will need swimming shoes if you don't like the feel of pebbles, as there is no sand. The pool area is lovely and the pool itself is very refreshing and very well maintained. The hotel guests would benefit greatly by having a kids pool area separate to an adults pool area. It was very busy while we were there with lots of children enjoying the pool, but not entirely relaxing for adult guests. However, the lifeguard was doing his best - many parents these days seem to switch off and let the children do as they wish. This is no fault of the hotel. We enjoyed a day on the Hop-on-hop-off tour ("See-City") which was exciting and enjoyable- up to Castlemola and Taormina. A fantastic day out. There are plenty of reasonably priced excellent restaurants just across the road from the hotel. All in all, an excellent stay. We would highly recommend it.

Dodałam fragment o kolacji i całość lekko wygładziłam: Jestem bardzo zadowolona z pobytu. Jedynym minusem był niezbyt atrakcyjny widok z pokoju na boczny parking personelu, ale to moja wina, ponieważ rezerwowałam pobyt tego samego dnia, w którym przyjechaliśmy, i był to chyba ostatni dostępny pokój. Personel zorganizował cudowne 6. urodziny mojej córki. Zamówiłam jedynie tort, a obsługa przygotowała całą piękną aranżację - dekoracje, prezenty dla dzieci oraz wyjątkową urodzinową atmosferę. Była również piosenka, co sprawiło córce ogromną radość. Dziękuję za to, że moja córka mogła poczuć się ważna i że ten dzień stał się dla niej naprawdę wyjątkowy. Mam również wrażenie, że przy okazji urodzin córki został zorganizowany specjalny kącik dla dzieci, w którym wszystkie dzieci z hotelu mogły robić sobie tatuaże, makijaże oraz prace plastyczne. To było bardzo miłe i pokazywało, jak bardzo personel dba o najmłodszych gości. Bardzo podobało mi się także to, że podczas śniadania można było zamówić dodatkowe rzeczy poza bufetem, szczególnie świeżo wyciskane soki, choć nie jestem do końca pewna, czy były w 100% wyciskane. Personel był bardzo miły, pomocny i zaangażowany na każdym szczeblu - od pana ze sklepiku na plaży, przez obsługę restauracji, recepcję, aż po barmanów. Na szczególne wyróżnienie zasługuje również zorganizowana kolacja z muzyką, pysznym jedzeniem i świetną obsługą. Czuliśmy się tam naprawdę dobrze, swobodnie i wyjątkowo zaopiekowani. Organizacja wyjazdów, wynajmu auta oraz innych udogodnień była na bardzo dobrym poziomie. Wstawiam kilka zdjęć z tego cudownego wyjazdu. Na pewno wrócimy tu za rok - moja córka już zapowiedziała, że chciałaby co roku spędzać tutaj swoje urodziny.

Had a fantastic stay at this hotel! Good for relaxation and also a great base for exploring with bus terminal 5 mins walk away with frequent busses to Taormina (20 mins on bus) and busses/trains to Catania and beyond (if you don’t hire a car- hire car place also less than 10 mins walk away if needed) Pool area is quite small for the size of the hotel and most beds had been taken by 9am when we were there (although not just ‘reserved’ with towels thankfully! actually being used!) but they also have a large beach club as the hotel is right on the beach - we never struggled to get a bed there which was better for us as had a great sea breeze and sea was lovely to swim in-take sea shoes you will be glad of it! The beach club was free, assume would be for all hotel guests? But may depend on time of year/room etc towels were given out daily (free) at the beach club just had to confirm your room number/name & could change them daily if wanted We were here on a B&B basis and couldn’t fault the breakfast. Typical offerings for a buffet breakfast but good selections - inc gluten free options. You could order your eggs (omelette, poached, fried) with the restaurant staff and they would deliver to table as they would be cooked to order. There was also a ‘grab and go’ section u could use if you were heading out and didn’t have time for breakfast which I thought was a nice touch as lots would be off exploring on day trips. We never struggled to find a table as large breakfast room it seemed the busiest around 10am however if u sat somewhere that needed cleaning or setting up the staff were onto it straight away so v good! Great restaurants across the road for a quick lunch or evening if u want to get out of hotel but not wanting to walk down to seafront (takes about 15-20 mins and lots of restaurants there too) also good little supermarket across road for essentials and which does panini made to order they were v good! As mentioned in previous reviews the rooms are v dated but the hotel main areas receptions pool bar restaurants etc were clearly updated & v modern. All v well maintained, clean etc We had a sea view room on 5th floor (view was amazing!) which was v large and clean. Bed v comfy, water put in rooms daily when cleaned and it had all the facilities you would need. Clearly there is currently work being done at the hotel (maybe upgrading rooms?) as we could hear builders etc during day but nothing too early that it woke us up and never at night-mainly heard it when on beach but again not constant. Overall a great hotel and all the staff are very welcoming and friendly - would recommend if you are looking to stay in the area!

Great location makes this hotel worth to visit. Good beach for swimming and peaceful area. Rooms are good size and clean but housekeeping comes very late to make up the room. Like now e.g. it is almost 4 pm and my room is still waiting to be cleaned. Breakfast is of good quality but it is exactly the same every morning. Some variety in the breakfast offerings would be needed.
