Provider-sourced guest reviews.
We were in town to see the Phantom of the Opera for my girlfriends birthday. I had always wanted to stay at the Peninsula Beverly Hills and our experience surpassed all expectations. The entire staff was extremely welcoming and made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The Living Room Tea was a terrific experience which I would recommend to anyone. The property was beautifully maintained and our room was spacious and quiet. The team went above and beyond in all areas. The highlight was arriving back in our room from the show to find a custom designed Phantom of the Opera cake! It was delicious and a great reminder of the level of service the Peninsula dedicates itself to. We look forward to future stays with the Peninsula and consider it a home away from home!
It’s perfect. Beautiful, kept in tip top shape. Service from anyone and everyone in the hotel is perfect. Rooms are gorgeous. Pool evokes classic California vibes. Comfortable and luxurious without being pretentious. A+
We last stayed at the PBH about 12 years ago. I remembered it as being a very good hotel. But this stay was truly superb. The hotel was much as we remembered--no major renovation that was apparent. So you might think the facilities are getting a little shabby. Nothing could be further from the truth. The hotel gleamed--immaculately clean, extremely well maintained, and classic without seeming dated. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped, as you would expect from a luxury hotel. The location is conveniently central for West LA, but quiet. The food in the restaurant is excellent. But what really makes this hotel fantastic is the service provided by the top notch staff. Everyone we encountered was genuinely warm, friendly, and eager to serve. From the front door bell staff and valets, to the concierge, bar, and restaurant staff, the standard of service was truly exemplary.
The Peninsula Beverly Hills is the epitome of luxury! The property is absolutely immaculate, and the staff is lovely and attentive. I even got to see Ben Stein having lunch at the pool. On my final day, I decided I wanted to get Botox before going home. The concierge Kerri was excellent, and managed to secure me a last-minute appointment at Beverly Wilshire Aesthetics, and I love my results!
The service from beginning to end was beyond exceptional.
I recently stayed at the property and was very impressed. The beds are very comfortable, the service was wonderful, the concierge Kerri was very helpful (my request was very much out of her scope, yet she was very kind and helpful, which I appreciated very much). I have previously stayed exclusively at the BHH but would recommend The Peninsula to anyone, any day.
Such personalized service. I mentioned we were coming for Kanye and I was floored that they had set up 4 clear backpacks with water Gatorade glowies and snacks. And of course the monogrammed pillowcases. They know your name and everybody is so solicitous you feel the warmth of a long lost family reunion. A nice contrast to the impersonal sense you can sometimes get in LaLa land.
We stayed at The Peninsula Beverly Hills for a family vacation with my wife, kids, and in-laws, and overall it was a really strong experience. We booked two rooms through Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts. Before arriving, I called to ask about a possible upgrade—while that would have been about 3x the price, the team was helpful and instead arranged adjoining rooms for us, which worked out perfectly for a family trip. I’ll admit, I had read some negative reviews before arriving, which made me a bit hesitant. But in our experience, we didn’t encounter any of those issues—which is actually why I felt compelled to write this review. First impressions matter, and they nailed it. The private motor court entrance and valet setup immediately set the tone—elegant, smooth, and not overly crowded despite being in Beverly Hills. We booked base-level rooms, and honestly, they exceeded expectations. They were very comfortable, well-appointed, and a good size—not cramped at all. Everything felt polished and thoughtfully designed. Where this hotel really stands out is the service. It’s consistently excellent across the board—from the doormen to housekeeping to the waitstaff. Everyone was attentive without being overbearing, and it made a noticeable difference throughout the stay. We also spent time at the pool, which was a great spot to relax, and made use of the car service, which was incredibly convenient for getting around. One practical tip: bring cash for tips—you’ll want it, given the level of service. The overall feel actually reminded me of The Langham in London—classic luxury, not trendy, but done really well. No major downsides to note. I’d absolutely stay here again and would recommend it, especially for families looking for a comfortable, high-service hotel in a great location.
The stay was ok, but the really rude manager, who used to be the bar manager but she got promoted, Rebecca, was really rude to me and my dad. She was extremely unprofessional. I have also heard bad things about her from the staff who work at Peninsula New York, where I stay sometimes, saying she used to work at the bar there, but once she got promoted it got to her head and started treating all of the staff badly. A server, who I will let remain nameless, said that he is supposed to get a complimentary stay at peninsula hotels when he is travelling, but when he was in Beverly Hills Rebecca refused his employee privilege for no reason. Absolutely horrible people out there, this is shocking and just a reminder.
I spent a few days here and Rebecca is very rude and unprofessional. They don’t take car of the guests and are arrogant and rude. Not a 5 star hotel. Take your money and go to a place where they treat you well, and there are many of them in Beverly Hills. There are also cockroaches in the rooms. I switched 3 rooms because of it
After staying 2 weeks, my cats didn’t go through. I called my bank to clear the charge but they wouldn’t let me check back in. The manager, Rebecca, said he saw my name pop up on a “database” and said I should leave, and that I am LOITERING. Really? After I got along so well with all of the staff and spent thousands of dollars, as soon as my card doesn’t go through and I am calling my bank I am loitering? Wow, ridiculous. Rudest and most incompetent so-called manager ever. Stay at the Beverly Hills hotel, bel air hotel, beverly Wilshire, or maybourne instead, where they treat you with respect and have actually good service. The rooms are also old and small, and they have a bee hive problem. 6 bees flew into my room within an hour of me having the window open. Also they allow people to smoke strong weed on the property. Terribly bad hotel don’t stay here
Very good breakfast and location
Responsivenss of staff to room issues
We were dining guests of the Belvedere. Kitchen staff was terrible for a Thanksgiving, Holiday Menu and what you would expect for the holiday was missing. Raviolis and dry tasteless turkey etc The.charge for 3 dinners plus one cocktail $1000. The Peninsula Gaddis in Kowloon former restaurant in Repulse Bay and in tokyo hotel contributed for their star rating
Classic hotel with top tier service - the staff is amazing. Special thanks to Dillon and Justin at the rooftop food/pool who were super helpful and went out of their way to try to ensure I was well taken care of. Both are gems. Servers Juan and Kenneth were also top notch. The concierge including Kerri were great and the complimentary Rolls for rides into town driven by Max was a nice touch. Food was excellent all around including breakfast and in the bar lounge, and I appreciated the free morning coffee. The rooms are a bit small for a family of 4 (we had 2 double beds) and are nice with comfortable mattresses/sheets but felt dated, and the HVAC system was noisy. Several of the front desk staff including Victor, Natsumi, Marcelo, Ariana and Ben all tried to help me find a quieter replacement but nothing seemed to fit our needs. I asked for a quiet room including away from HVAC prior to my stay as I am a light sleeper, but was told my room was actually close to the HVAC unit on the roof. Overall a decent experience but don't think I will be returning.
Having just stayed in 12 luxury hotels (Bel Air, Peninsula Beverly Hills, Four Seasons Palm beach, Faena Miami beach, Waldorf Astoria Park city, W Aspen, St. Regis San Francisco, Waldorf Astoria Vegas, etc) around the USA, I have a fresh feel to review these hotels with great comparisons. Having just stayed at both the Bel Air and the Peninsula, which I consider the two best hotels in LA, the top pick really depends on your preferences. This hotel has a great location, with in walking distance to Rodeo Drive etc. Bel Air is super secluded, but offers the best privacy in LA. But in my opinion, you do get enough privacy here too. The service here was excellent, literally nothing in terms of service could have been better, even considering the sky high expectations. The staff at the lobby new our names even before we provided our IDs. They were so full of joy and welcomed us so warmly, that it almost felt like coming home, even tho it was our first time at the hotel. The lugagge were taken from the car without usbeven noticing and delivered to the room. The valet even asked if we wanted the backsests back up, no other hotel has ever asked that! We were upgraded to a huge suite for our stay. The pillows had our initials. The welcome amenity and champagne was excellent. The bed was first class, soft and silky linen. The pool area is beutiful and very relaxing. Its nicely small, so it does not turn into a resort feel, but remains quiet and intimate. Service over there was also very anticipating. The pool area never got crowded either. Even tho the pool and pool area is bigger at Bel Air, it felt more like a family resort as there were many kids playing and jumping. Peninsula pool felt more higher end for that reason. The only downside is that the valet and front yard can get very crowded as many people come for a tea time on weekends. As we checked out, we waited for our car for 25 minutes atleast. Also the service at breakfast felt a bit cold, a huge difference to the rest of the staff. All in all, I would definitely visit again!

We were looking for a place in Beverly Hills or Bel Air to spend our last three nights of our Californian tour to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. We love the Beverly Hills Hotel and the Bel Air, but I do like to try somewhere different (FOMO). We had been here before for breakfast and due to its location right in the centre of Beverly Hills, decided to go here. A few days before our arrival the hotel contacted me requesting some additional details to make our stay more personalised. When we arrived they parked our car and took care of our luggage. The check in took a little time, but I believe they were finalising some touches in the room, We were given room 211, which is up a few stairs from reception. As soon as we entered the room we could see some really special touches about the fruit bowl, like dipped strawberries and monogramed pillows. The room was very spacious, no particular view, but a lovely bathroom. Modern and classic at the same time, if that is even possible. We had some breakfast credit within the room rate and ate at the rooftop restaurant beside the pool every day. The food was fantastic, particularly the granola. The juices were freshly squeezed. The staff here were excellent. The same goes for the pool, which we also used every day. It is relatively small, and on the one day where we couldn't get loungers in the shade, they gave us a complimentary cabana. The only issues we had were that on one occasion someone was playing their music through a speaker and on another occasion, someone was recording influencer type videos in the hot tub. We ordered room service one night as we didn't want to go out for dinner. We opted to share the cheeseboard with wine and it was perfect. We noticed that the hotel has a Rolls Royce Ghost to ferry the guests around in, so one evening we took it over to Rodeo Drive. That was pretty cool. They really went above and beyond on all levels to make our stay memorable.
Superb , faultless , wonderful
Service
From start to finish, our afternoon at The Peninsula Beverly Hills spa was absolutely wonderful. Imani at the reception greeted us with such warmth and professionalism instantly making us feel welcome. Then Irene and Farah, the nail technicians, were fabulous skilled attentive, and made the experience feel truly luxurious . Finally but not forgotten Derek, server with that beautiful warm smile brought us a beautiful glass of champagne hooray and kudos to all who helped make our afternoon special Thank You Highly recommend
Fabulous
Banker who booked a trust client into the hotel when it was newly opened in 1991/2. Gave them her address and relayed she had a wheat allergy. Hotel made no accommodation for her wheat allergy. When I requested to cut through the garden to go to my office on the next block, arrogantly informed the garden was for villa guests only. Visited acquaintance in one of the villas - ridiculously over swathed in fabric. As someone who pleasure traveled four continents by age sixteen, and stayed in palace hotels, I know how things are done, this place wasn't it. Never booked another trust client here. Will give them that the lobby living room was beautiful and The Belvedere restaurant had great food, but that's it.
The best experience in Los Angeles. The Peninsula it’s a great hotel the staff is awesome, all of them without exception. We will be back for sure!
Listen up — I’ve been around the block a few times. From Bayonne to Vegas, London to Cancun, I’ve stayed in some fancy places. But The Peninsula Beverly Hills? That joint just walked in and blew everything else outta the water. You pull up, and right away you know you’re dealin’ with a different league. The valet’s crisp, the lobby’s like a palace, and the scent in the air? Pure class. No cheap cologne here — this is the real deal. Rooms? Spacious like a penthouse, decked out with every comfort you didn’t even know you wanted. Bed so soft, you forget the world exists. The staff? Attentive without hoverin’—you feel respected, not stalked. And the rooftop pool? Forget about it. Views that make you wanna drop a hundred grand just to soak it all in. I brought Gionna, and even she was speechless — and that’s rare.
Everything was perfect from the moment we checked in until we checked out. The entire staff at the Peninsula went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a success. The employees at the reception desk were just as wonderful as the doormen and valet. It was almost too good to be true. Everyone was so genuinely attentive and very professional at the Peninsula. Our room was very clean. Many times as guests you have to accept that things aren't perfect, even in five star hotels but not at the Peninsula. Our room and all throughout the Peninsula, everything was super clean. They take luxury and five stars to another level. What stood out was that during our entire stay we've never seen a cleaning cart in the hallway, which never bothered us in other hotels but it added to the luxury feel at the Peninsula and the hallways are so much prettier without those carts standing around. In general the housekeeping is very detail oriented but barely noticeable. They offer turndown service which is common in luxury hotels but not always done in such a subtle way they do it at this hotel. The pool, the room, the restaurants, the facilities were all fabulous. The complimentary car service was awesome! Max is the best! We’re looking forward to our next stay!
Beautiful hotel! Amazing friendly staff! Unfortunately, we were only able to stay for one night. We did have time before our business dinner to sit by the pool and enjoy drinks and a great lunch. Will definitely recommend to others!!
Nothing to like.
Extremely Disappointing Stay – Not What You’d Expect from a Luxury Hotel Our recent stay at The Peninsula Hotel in Los Angeles was extremely disappointing and far from the standard we expected. From check-in to check-out, we encountered consistent issues with both the service and cleanliness. Firstly, the staff was surprisingly rude and unaccommodating throughout our stay. The front desk experience was unpleasant, with unhelpful and dismissive attitudes that made us feel unwelcome from the start. To make matters worse, the room was not properly maintained. A kettle brought to our room was not only dirty but also had visible mold inside — an unacceptable oversight for any hotel, let alone one of this supposed standard. Around the hotel, we noticed carelessly left cleaning wipes hanging in multiple places, adding to the general feeling of neglect and lack of hygiene. Finally, during check-out, we were incorrectly charged for breakfast we never had. The hotel attempted to add a bill of $81–$90 to our account, which we firmly disputed. This left us with a lasting negative impression and a strong sense of frustration. Overall, this was a deeply unpleasant experience, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone expecting genuine hospitality, cleanliness, or professionalism.
Comfortable, quiet, and old-world elegant with a lovely garden in the courtyard. High tea was delightful. We were able to see fireworks from a cabana by the pool. The staff was kind in a way that felt genuine.
IPad in room didn’t work. No coffee in room but coffee until 8 am in the lobby.
High tea at the peninsula was exquisite again. With live harpist playing in the background, while we enjoy savory finger sandwich and sweet delectables, plus the scones are moist & perfectly crumbles in your mouth, accompanied with delicious homemade cream or lemon curd or jam. Generous pouring of champagne, as well as excellent choice of flavorful teas. Service from the moment you walk in, is absolutely excellent by each person/server. Also I’d like to say thank you to the chef/staff, as they really do listen to your request. As I’d requested for light on any cream in the sandwiches & one of my friends is gluten intolerance, yet she had nothing less than us on her tray of delectables. Excellent accommodating on all of us! Not forgetting the ambience and furniture, exquisite, elegant and immaculate. I felt like I was back in England having high tea either at the Ritz or Claridge’s again. A great place to treat oneself with friends or family.
Excellent but no perk received
Checked into the Peninsula Beverly Hills on a sunny afternoon, entering an experience defined by invisible excellence combined with California warmth. The location of the hotel, the proactive service philosophy and the attention to detail from leadership on down were all core elements of an excellent stay. On arrival, Rebecca greeted me with great cheer and displayed excellent advanced knowledge about the context of my stay and my preferences. Marcelo worked with her to show great attentiveness and ensured that all details were attended to. Finally, Logan showed me to the suite and ensured that I was familiar with the property. The suite was spacious, well equipped, and an excellent welcome amenity was laid out for my arrival. Little details were sorted out well, and my interactions with housekeeping showcased splendid professionalism. Every request was fulfilled with speed and thoroughness. In room and on premises dining were all top notch. From breakfast to midnight pork shumai, everything was tasty and satiating. The gym was well equipped and Dillon at the pool did a fantastic job making sure our party had all that we needed. Location, of course, is a key asset of this hotel - close to everything you need to get to in the zone, not too far from the beach club in Santa Monica and all the other places, people and things that one needs to access. California is a place firmly rooted in the now and the future - where the hallowed past is often so much set dressing, the now is a muddled work in progress and the future a continuously rewritten storyboard. Quoth Joan Didion, "California is a place in which a boom mentality and a sense of Chekhovian loss meet in uneasy suspension; in which the mind is troubled by some buried but ineradicable suspicion that things better work here, because here, beneath the immense bleached sky, is where we run out of continent." The Peninsula Beverly Hills is one of those places where things work, and do so exceedingly well. Rebecca’s team brought their A game and showed us an excellent time, demonstrating a level of hospitality that is uncommon in this country or elsewhere. If you want a stay that’s very in the city and yet far from hustle and bustle, this is your place.
Beautiful and elegant hotel, excellent staff, very comfortable rooms and bed, large bathroom. Great on site dining
Pretty average—desperately needs a renovation.
The Peninsula Beverly Hills was totally fantastic. This hotel team has the best service and staff of any hotel around . The monogrammed pillow cases were a nice extravagant touch . I plan to stay at the Peninsula Tokyo when I go there as I liked it so much . Thank You Peninsula Beverly Hills for a memorable stay .
Fantastic. This is the best place to stay in the area.
I wanted to visit the Peninsula BH for a while now. Loved the hotel and how impecable every detail is crafted. I admire timeless hotels like this one and the immaculate condition of the room and its finishings. MD, Offer, and his team did an extraordinary job. Check out was at 3am and the team offered me a lovely black tea with milk that helped me with much energy I needed for a couple of calls at the airport early in the morning. Thank you Offer, will be back!
Amazing property!
The location is beautiful. But the staff was so incredibly disappointing. When I tried to book an afternoon tea reservation the hostess was so rude and dismissive. The restaurant was also very rude. It amazed me to be spending so much in such a high end hotel and have such rude and dismissive staff. It was repeatedly unfortunate and affected my stay.
Breakfast was wonderful and the staff thoughtfully provided a cake / pastry for our anniversary
I thought the room would be a bit more spacious but that’s not a big deal. I think I understand why cars must be parked and retrieved by valets, and yet when all the occasions for tipping are included and when one doesn’t always carry cash, that can be a bit stressful for one who wants to honor labor
I have stayed several times at this hotel and it seems to be getting better every time I go. The hotel itself is in a quiet neighborhood of Bevery Hills walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. We had booked our room through Amex, unfortunately we were not upgraded however we had a quiet room in the back of the building. The room was decorated in its usual trademark Beverly hills colors and prints. The furniture was traditional but all the modern amenities were present. The bathroom had a shower and a tub as well as a single sink and an enclosed toilet area ( which I really like). The welcome fruit, the monogramed pillow cases, the friendly housekeeper that replenished daily with things she noticed we needed were all extremely nice gestures that made you fell welcome. Highlights of the room was the Very Comfortable bed and the Water pressure in the shower, which was excellent. I also appreciated the little foot rest in the shower for shaving my legs. Overall we had a great stay, of course there were little incidents which I alerted management and they were taken care of immediately. The grounds are well kept, upstairs rooftop is nice but small. Bar area is very crowded and you do not have privacy, specially if you are allergic to pets and people sit with their pets near you. Breakfast area is beautiful, menu is decent with lots of healthy items, and they have many gluten free options. Shout out to Edouardo and Narciso for the extra care they gave us and remembering me and bringing me my gluten free toast without even asking for it. The lobby area was always packed with guests coming in and out. Security was heavy by the door area, I'm not sure if there was someone that needed it, but I never saw anything. The hotel offered tea everyday , while I did not experience it, it seemed like something people truly enjoyed, maybe I will try it next time. Overall it was a great stay and I will definitely stay there again. I give it my GoldnAdvice seal of approval.
Our favorite Los Angeles hotel
Great
We had a great a stay at the peninsula - the highlight was the ghost Rolls Royce To drive you within the BH area and our drivers Nick, axle and max were so wonderful and accommodating. We also had a great experience with Lyle and Jose at breakfast- the chocolate charcoal bowl was so creamy snd delicious and their house made smoke salmon flatbread was excellent. We loved the personal touch initials on the pillowcases. Fish tacos and burger on rooftop very good quality too. Only recommendation is to renovate the carpet in hallways - but the room carpet was new. Great service overall, we will be back!
Peninsula is ALWAYS amazing! Literally, every trip is spectacular. The staff is so kind and goes far beyond expectations. Beds are so comfy + all Hasten -best mattress ever ⭐️
This hotel has next level luxury and thoughtfulness. Every team member there is so focused and aware of doing every little thing right to make you feel happy and comfortable. They do little things that are so cool, for example if you ask a team member where something is, they will literally walk you to wherever you wanted to go. It doesn’t matter if they are busy, they will stop what they are doing and help you. The other thing that blew me away is that my son is 3 months old and having his first ever hotel stay. I told the front desk that this was a special experience for my family being the first time my son has stayed in a hotel. The front desk team member, Marcelo, asked me for my sons name and how to spell it, he ended up having a gift sent to our room with a little stuffed animal with my sons name embroidered on the gift. I have never seen something like that, I am so impressed with this hotel. I am so thankful and grateful to stay here.
From the moment we arrived, the young gentleman greeted us with “welcome home” and that was the vibe of our entire stay! Everyone was so courteous and friendly without being “stuffy”. We were escorted to our room by Angelee who was so sweet. Our room was absolutely beautiful. From the personalized birthday cake, champagne, fruit tray to the monogrammed pillow shams; this beautifully appointed room took our breath away! Gary assisted us with our luggage and brought us extra water bottles. He was knowledgeable about the property’s amenities and gave us great recommendations. Every time we returned to the hotel, we were addressed by our name. This was a special occasion, my daughter’s 21st birthday and Everyone at the Peninsula truly went above and beyond! We enjoyed a delicious dinner at the Belvedere and a delightful afternoon tea in the living room. Cannot wait for our next visit!
Use Peninsula Time you can check in at 8 a.m. or check out at 4 p.m.This is a huge advantage.Plus friendly staff, excellent service and comfortable rooms. What could be better than that?
À true home away from home
I’ve stayed at this hotel many times and it never fails to impress. The staff are friendly, well informed and helpful and the hotel is clean and organised but the reason I return is the rooms. They are spacious, light and cozy. The beds are incredibly comfortable and fluffy. The bathrooms are well appointed and everything is well looked after. The rooftop pool and restaurant is a highlight. The spa is good too.
Loved my stay and will be back on my next trip. Personel was amazingly helpful. Location was great. A+++
The beds
The high tea service at the Peninsula’s Living Room is the best in town. We continue to go back and the quality and service are always at the highest level. Edwin, our server, was welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable about all the offerings. The tea sandwiches and sweets were out of this world. The Holiday decorations also made it a very special experience. I highly recommend it!
“I have much to say, but I will keep it brief and to the point. If you are Black and not a celebrity, this is one of the worst places to spend your money. As a real estate agent who lives just two minutes away, I attend many events in the area and often stopped by this hotel’s bar for drinks or dinner after work. Unfortunately, my experience was overshadowed by the behavior of a specific female manager at the bar downstairs close to the check in area. From the very first time I encountered her, she was rude and unwelcoming. While I initially tried to ignore her demeanor, it eventually became impossible to overlook. On one occasion, her behavior crossed the line, and I began to notice a consistent pattern of different treatment toward people of color. This establishment was once one of my favorite places, but it quickly became one I can no longer support because of this individual’s actions. As the bar manager, she is present frequently, making it difficult to avoid this issue. I have since chosen to take my business—and my clients—to other venues like the Waldorf Astoria, where we feel respected and appreciated. I have a photo of the manager in question and will share it to raise awareness about this unacceptable behavior.”
The PBH is the epitome of elegance, opulence and refinement. It sets the standard for hospitality in all respects. I have never experienced a hotel where every single employee that I interacted with was pleasant, hard-working and loved their job. The GM has certainly created a culture of hospitality and personal engagement. The GM sent a personal welcome to the room (something that does not happen as often anymore with hotels). Valet parking was a breeze as well as check-in. The room was well-appointed, up-to-date with electronic and internet connections as well as very quiet. The bed was most comfortable and one of the pillowcases has my monogram embroidered on it. No request was too small and each question was answered knowledgeably and with a courteous smile. Housekeeping and turndown were impeccable. Breakfasts were a highlight. The PBH offers something for everyone's taste buds. I tried both the Belvedere and the Roof Top Garden. The menu is virtually the same and the open air of the roof top made that my go to place. The pool was never over-crowded and yet the staff went above and beyond to insure comfort and pool-side service. The lobby lounge was filled everyday with people enjoying afternoon tea (they have a harpist who played Christmas music). The bar and lounge were always full and the dessert they offered at night was decadent. The area is walkable to Rodeo Drive, the Beverly Hills Sign and access by car to the sights was a breeze. No other place in Los Angeles compares to the PBH. Once you spend even a night, you will not want to stay anywhere else.
Fist class hotel perfectly located
Safe, Quiet, Clean, Elegant, Sophisticated. Absolute perfection!
Everything
Elegant hotel with excellent staff and service, from the front desk, to the Concierge, the SPA and restaurant Belvedere
If I could give this hotel six stars, I would! The attention to detail was mind-blowing - from the perfectly pressed linens to the meticulously curated local art adorning the walls. The concierge was a fountain of knowledge, guiding us to hidden gems we would have never discovered on our own. The rooftop bar offered craft cocktails that were works of art in themselves, compleThis establishment truly understands luxury is in the details. The staff demonstrates exceptional emotional intelligence in their interactions. The rooms are perfectly appointed with everything you might need, and the housekeeping is meticulous. The property's common areas are inviting and well-maintained, creating perfect spaces for both work and relaxation. The concierge servmented by a view that made us feel on top of the world. This wasn't just a stay; it was an experience we'll treasur
What stood out most was the warmth of the staff - genuine smiles and a willingness to go above and beyond. The public spaces were meticulously maintained, and the overall atmosphere exuded tranquility. I particularly appreciated the blend of modern amenities with classic hospitality touches. It felt like a home away from home, just with much better service.
Everything was wonderful!
What sets this place apart is how they combine efficiency with genuine warmth. The rooms were spotless and well-appointed, but it was the little touches that made our stay memorable - from the welcome drink to the personalized recommendations from the concierge. The restaurant service was particularly impressive, with staff who knew the perfect balance between attentiveness and giving space.
The Peninsula BH does some things great. Service and responsiveness from the lovely staff is spot on. The building and back gardens are gorgeous and the afternoon tea looks amazing (though I didnt get a chance to try it). However, the rooms here clearly haven’t been updated for at least 30 years. Everything is very, very tired in the rooms and feels like your grandmother decorated it. I will say they’re quiet which is a must for me and the villas in the back are private and spacious. But you’re a 5 star hotel in BH, time to get with the program. Lastly, My fiancée came and visited me for the evening. When I asked the valet how much it was for him to park for a few hours, they said “don’t worry about it” which I took to mean as it was complimentary. But it was SEVENTY SIX dollars. Had we known it was so expensive he would’ve parked down the street. Definitely a gross bait and switch. Will not be retuning because of this.
We spent 3 nights here whilst travelling. route 1 and taking a detour to see LA. A beautiful hotel, very well appointed as you would expect with extremely high levels of service throughout our stay. Concierge was always helpful in making suggestions and booking tours etc. The hotel was a great location to explore LA. and take in the local shopping including Rodeo drive. Nice cocktail bar and food in the Belvedere restaurant was good. Breakfast was OKAY but a little slow to be served! Overall a great place to stay to explore this interesting city.
The room was nice , but would have loved a balcony
Even a small balcony
Wonderful hotel and excellent customer service!
UGH. SO. TIRED. OF. COOKIE-CUTTER. HOTELS. But THIS place? TOTALLY different story. It's like they took EVERYTHING boring about hotels and went "NOPE!" Instead? QUIRKY art. FUNKY furniture. COOL staff who actually seem to ENJOY their jobs (SHOCKER!). Room was small but PERFECTLY formed - loved the WEIRD but WONDERFUL decor. Location is AWESOME - right in th
SERVICE: 5 out of 5 From the valet who remembered my name, to the front door man to the bellmen to check-in where they greeted me with a friendly hello (again by name:) , to the efficient concierge who arranged for the house car to take me to Spago for dinner, to the housekeepers who did evening turn down and morning make up right on time and remembered exactly how I like things; to hostess and waitstaff at the Belvedere EVERYONE gave attentive, well-mannered, exemplary service. Special Kudos to General Manager Mr. Offer Nissenbaum, who not only keeps loyal staff year after year (a real rarity nowadays); but who very clearly imbues his entire front of house staff with his vision of what makes a hotel wonderful not just in words -- but in consistent actions. ACCOMMODATION - SUPERIOR SUITE: 5 out of 5 Has everything a guest could ever want in a stay. Lots of light from the various windows and french doors leading out to the balcony. Incredibly comfortable bed with pristine linens and sleeping pillows, writing desk with a lovely white orchid and a nice handwritten welcome note from the General Manager, table for room service, sofa and coffee table with a basket of fresh fruit; The marble bathroom had good water flow in the shower, separate tub and at the sink; soft, absorbent bath towels, nicely sized soap, good lighting, a make-up mirror, and a hidden niche for a top of the line heated toilet with automatic lid lifting/closing & flush FOOD: 5 out of 5 Belvedere dining was excellent at breakfast and lunch. Love the pretty formality of the room, combined with the excellent and welcoming service. High quality ingredients, generous portions, beautifully plated and everything was delicious. Afternoon tea was totally full, and I had forgotten to make an advance reservation. Next time! Their formal afternoon tea is a splendid treat. CONCLUSION: Everything you could wish for, in every aspect of a 5 star hotel. Asked to compare it to the others in town, easily hands down would rather stay here than anywhere else in Beverly Hills. Highly recommend, and already looking forward to my next stay!
great
very personal staff, beautiful hotel/lobby
I don’t usually stay with brands outside of the Accor Group, as I am a loyal customer to their brand but after receiving a voucher from a colleague to the Peninsula Beverly Hills I decided to give it a shot and I was delightfully surprised. Right from the start the PBH has impeccable service over the phone and email in preparing for your arrival, they handled the planning smoothly and professionally. The concierge team is incredibly helpful in making reservations outside the property and handled the complimentary house car service with ease. The valet team was efficient and very careful with our vehicle. The property was stunning, we enjoyed our time at the hotel by taking advantage of afternoon tea service, the extensive spa on site, and the gorgeous pool with poolside service. We were treated like royalty during our stay and I would expect nothing less from a brand like the Peninsula. I would like to personally thank Jim, Thalia, and the entire PBH team for their tremendous hospitality. I will certainly return.
Had a wonderful high tea that was very special with a harpest playing lovely music ! A lovely elegant destination.
I don't want to sound like on of those reviewers who says they've been to a lot of amazing resorts, but this was the best, but its actually true! The Peninsula Beverly Hills is the best. It's that simple. It's the best hotel I've ever stayed at and it may possibly be the best in the United States. I had the great privilege of staying at the Peninsula Beverly Hills for a work conference. I extended my stay and brought my wife and 1.5 year old daughter along for the experience. From the moment we walked in, until the moment we left, every person working at this establishment made us feel like we were the most important guest to have ever visited. The stay begins with ample bellmen waiting and willing to assist bit luggage. Within seconds, everything was out of the car, loaded onto cars, and we were provided water bottles. Check-in was flawless as they were expecting our arrival. We arrived around 1:30pm and our room was ready. We were guided to our room by a lovely employee who provided us information about the hotel and offered to help hold anything we wanted. Upon entering the room, which was just stunning, we had monogrammed pillow cases with all of our initials. They even went so far to provide a doll for my daughter with her name on it. The room also had crib, diaper pail, changing station, large empty refrigerator, and tons of baby supplies. The rooms are elegant, classy, but modern. The best was beyond comfortable and the shades allow for pure darkness. We loved going to the pool deck. The pool is the perfect size and the service up top couldn't have been better. I hope that I get another opportunity to stay here because this truly is the best hotel!
Everything was perfect but i booked a car for my son's movie premiere and even they confirmed with me twice when i went downstairs they told me there is no car booked and i had to book an uber which that caused a delay for our event.
Excellent staff! Felt very welcomed and taken care of
Very elegant
Very clean hotel with a friendly staff. Rooms are large enough for a family with one child.
Excellent service
Even though this property is more expensive than nearby hotels, it's a good value considering the service and amenities. My only minute complaint is that check-in is at 8am, and my room was ready when we arrived, but we had to wait for staff to "inspect" the room before being taken up. It seems an inspection could have taken place after the room was readied. We had to wait about 20 minutes. Part of that time may have been waiting on the bellhop to place luggage. The person checking me in said she'd call my mobile phone when the room was actually ready, but she did not offer any suggestions about where to wait. Other than that experience, the service was excellent.
Extremely nice and clean as well as excellent customer service. The food is great too!
Everything! Great service, great food and excellent location!
Nothing.
