Shower needed cleaning. Disgusting around the soap holder. Bed very lumpy and uncomfortable on right hand side.
Really comfortable bed, clean room with excellent black out curtains. Very helpful and friendly staff.
We stayed at this hotel to visit Silverstone Racing Circuit and to take part in the 2025 Adrian Flux Road Tour. It was a good choice for both. On our arrival, although we had not booked an accessible room, and due to there being no lift, we were reallocated to a ground floor room, as my wife is awaiting a full knee replacement operation. The staff were courteous and helpful. We eat in the restaurant on the first night of our stay, and the food was good and service adequate, but the menu choices were limited, so we eat out on the remaining two nights of our stay. Also, for some unspecified reason, we were not able to charge the restaurant bill to our room account. I was happy to pay by card, but somewhat confused by this event, as I’ve not encountered this issue previously. We did not have breakfast at the hotel as all our day starts were early and we chose to eat later. The room was very pleasant with good location and facilities, but the room safe was locked on arrival and had to be opened by a staff member. Having used this type of self coded room safe on multiple occasions, I was frustrated by the strange operation of this facility which again locked itself whilst I was trying to set it for our use. Needless to say, I didn’t bother getting it opened again and just did not use it on this trip. On balance, I would use this hotel again, being aware of the limitations, but being very happy with the room itself, and the assistance of the front desk staff.
All the staff were very helpfull and friendly
Very friendly welcome from reception
Best thing of our stay the bed!! Lovely nights sleep one of the best! What more is there to say
Lovely location but it could have been cleaner. E.g.. When I went back to my room, cleaners had left teaspoon in sink after cleaning, bits of old drink in cups etc. Expected a cleaner stay for the price. Breakfast was good though
Took 20 mins to check in as there was no one on reception and then when one person did arrive it took a while to clear the queue. My room was basically in the basement very far from the lobby. The area is residential and you can’t walk anywhere. Food options are limited. This is a hotel for overnight tradesmen and golfers.
Comfortable stay helpful staff
Excellent stay friendly staff
Very friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent. The room was described as having a king bed but it was a double. The TV didn't work, we reported this but it wasn't mended.
nice location, easily accessible.
The outside smells like a sewer
The hotel exceeded expectation
Ambience, Quiet location. Courteous staff.
Hotel and room were clean and well presented. Reception staff were friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately the shower drain was partially blocked and drained very slowly. There was evidence of people frequently smoking in the room indicated by thread bare carpet under the bedroom window and cigarette butts on the roof outside. Hairdryer was clogged with dust and was wired into the desk making it difficult to use. Despite being told at check in that they were having issues with the terrestrial TV channels but Netflix was still working I couldn't get the Netflix app to open on the TV. Bed was comfortable and the A/C was very appreciated in the muggy weather. Would stay again for future events at Silverstone.
Sadly the stay here wasn’t what I expected. The room was still a mess from the previous guest. We were promptly moved to another room where the tv didn’t work. They had made us aware of some TVs only working on Netflix but this one didn’t work at all. A fair gesture of free breakfast was accepted but still not good for a hotel of its name. But overall a good nights rest.
The hotel was so clean. The lady at reception went above and beyond to help us with tax’s etc. The breakfast was excellent and the chef at the hot food station checked to see if everything was ok and was very attentive. Would recommend stay here.
Lovely privilege room and breakfast was nice
Was ok but the bathroom was terrible. Small bath with a glued down glass shower wall onto the bath so you can’t turn the shower on without being in it. No way this was 4 star
Really good quality hotel, room is dark and quiet at night and bed very comfortable. Food and bar very good.
Hotel staff were lovely. And can't fault the hotel.
Considering the price we paid, we were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. It was very clean and comfortable. The rooms were big and the bed comfortable and there was plenty of free parking. The staff were polite and attentive. The breakfast was very nice. Plenty of choice. Everything fresh and hot. Gluten free options were clearly labelled. Location is good. Just about a 8 min drive to centre and good links to London. Wembley was about 1 hour away.
Comfortable stay convenient for Silverstone Festival
Smeared bed linen. Staff with no smile and rude attitude.
Quite location
Tele didn't work in the room. Was moved to a basement room that smelt damp and the tele off the wall and was laying on the floor. Moved again to a third room where the tele didn't work so i requested to go back to the original room as i was so tired, it was gone 12 pm. All this following my ex husbands funeral. Was offered a breakfast, which was lovely. Will not be staying again
Not a great overall experience due to cleanliness, impacting comfort so would not stay again. Mould in window corners, cobwebs in many areas of room, smears on shower screan, dust on every surface. Finger prints on door handles. Made me very uneasy as to what was lurking on bedspreads and show pillows if these obvious need clean areas werent done. Holes in back of bathroom door, chips in bath, bathplug broken. Hotel corridors not hoovered 2 days we were there.
The property was amazing and staff friendly
Enjoyed our short stay in the mecure (3 nights) we got the train down to go to Bletchley park and Stowe Gardens etc. it wasn’t within walking distance of anywhere particularly but taxi’s are only 10 minutes to wherever you want to go We ate in the restaurant the first two nights and the food was great. Breakfast was lovely too. As the weather was nice it was good to be able to sit out on the terrace in the evenings aswell. Rooms were clean and had all amenities. If you are visiting that area I’d defo recommend. Thankyou for a lovely stay x
Lovely hotel in a nice surrounding and at a great price from Expedia
Lovely stay. Fantastic breakfasts. A very friendly chef who was happy to chat. Seen him on previous visits . Really nice to have a conversation with him. Evening meal was only let down when we had to ask for more cutlery and restaurant had run out of ‘green vegetables’! But staff were friendly.
Golf Course access
Room was clean and tidy Service was great
Comfortable and quiet, nice view over the golf area. Bed was amazing. Towels got taken but not replenished and room could’ve been cleaner (floor/mirrors/shower) but overall would recommend.
Another good stay at this preferred hotel. Always good staff clean comfortable room.
Always stay here when in the area
Excellent location, loads of free parking, clean room. Lovely breakfast. Staff MUST be advised that when guests check in, especially lone female travellers, they should not read out the room number - particularly when there are others who will overhear it in reception area. It’s much better to just give them the piece of paper with the room number on.
Booked a privilege room but it had stained towels and no coffee machine. Although the staff did say I could get a coffee from the bar anytime - which doesn’t help when you get up and want a coffee 1st thing! The view across the golf course was lovely.. Had to send back 2 glasses of Sauvign blanc in the restaurant as it was “fermented” and fizzed on your tongue! Staff overall were pleasant and helpful.
Hotel was amazing. Comfortable bed and excellent service. Receptionists was lovely. A warm welcome. Would definitely stay with thwm again.
The beds were super comfy . All the staff were very friendly and helpful . The breakfast was lovely stocked up and enjoyable . All in all a great trip
Was perfect
Staff were very helpfull
It was a lovely room. The beds were extremely comfortable. The walk in shower was very welcome. A pleasant stay and I would recommend it .
A very warm welcome, by Natalie. The communal areas are nicely decorated and inviting. Our room smelt musty and damp, overlooking the carpark. Natalie apologised and swifly upgraded us and we had a lovely view of the golf course. It was lovely and quiet. The bed was the comfiest I had ever slept in, and the air conditioning made for a very comfortable night.Parking is easy and outdoor areas well kept and pleasant. There were a couple of issues that need attention. Stains on the carpet, and a dripping tap in the room. Some corridor doors were grubby and stairway carpet dingy. Overall a very pleasant stay. I would recommend this hotel.
A
Fantastic staff, breakfast was really good with freshly cooked food. The chef has been there 31 years, he’s a credit to the hotel, reception staff very friendly aswell as chambermaids all very professional and an enjoyable comfortable stay
All the staff at this hotel were very good . Paid attention to their work and customer requirements. Breakfast was good . Freshly made good selection and good staff.
Staff were very helpful
This was my 3rd stay and it was lovely as always. There was one gripe I had and that is that the WiFi was very poor this time. I did report it, and reception did send someone, but it had been working for 30 minutes then so I assumed it was all ok. Unfortunately 30 mins later it stopped working completely. I did try again when we came back from dinner, but it didn't work for the rest of the night. Hopefully just a one off. Other than that, everything else was great.
Many of the staff were lovely, there was just one lady on reception who was quite cold, but other than that, the bar staff and breakfast staff especially were kind and helpful.
Great quality Great service Consistent
Outstanding
Had an amazing night away with a friend. Fantastic setting and quality of food was excellent. Would just recommend that some staff seemed quite inexperienced and require some training on general customer service, ising initiative and serving at the bar when customers clearly waiting. Beautiful amenities and friendly chef at breakfast. Thank you
The hotel is really nicely, the venue itself is located in a nice area and the venue is clean and tidy. The only downside that is a big negative point is the cleaness of the rooms, that was not done ,they just replaced the towels and done the bed, the carpwt wasn't vacuum, basin and toilet wasn't clean at all. Also for a 4 star hotel i was expecting a fridge in the room.
Nice stay
We love love loved this hotel! Stayed the night before a festival at the bowl and it was a great price, especially considering there was a big event happening. The member of staff who checked us in was really friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were really clean and spacious, and we were so thankful for the brilliant air con as we were there during a heatwave. At midnight I went to use the water fountain to fill up mine and my partner's water bottles but it was broken, so the reception staff kindly filled them up for us from the bar. It was the perfect rest we needed before our long day the next day. Probably the best hotel I've stayed at in the UK, and we will definitely be staying again for the festival next year.
Comfortable room. Air con was a blessing. Breakfast was fine but limited options for dietary requirements.
A good base to visit Bletchley Park or the golf course next door. Easy to get to, albeit a little out of town, but fine if driving or taking a cab. Hotel a little dated, but very clean and comfortable. Staff are excellent, very friendly and effective. A very good breakfast with plenty of choice and good quality. All in all a great value stay and would return.
Was a bit noisy one night. We stayed 3 nights.
Lovely hotel very smart
Friendly and helpful staff. Went out of their way to help.
Location good. Easy to find. Staff friendly on reception desk. Problem with room. Had no heating. Reported on 2 day but was told been fixed when it wasn’t. Moved us to another room. Problem with the 2nd room. Air conditioning broke, leaking water above 2 electric sockets. No communication back from staff. Rooms needs to be checked for good maintenance before renting out.
The staff were excellent, the young lady on reception (Natalie) was very helpful,a great asset to this hotel.
great location and hotel aambiance, reception lady gave us a great local restaurant recommendation - very helpful.
Reception area of hotel very stylish Hotel room had a musky smell had to leave the window open for it to disappear to a level of satisfaction...beds werent the best a bit lumpy...definitely a budget hotel on par with travel lodges
Hotel is very clean and well maintained. Room was very spacious and clean. Good location.
Staff were really helpful, plenty of parking, hotel was great. Location is a little isolated from local amenities.
The bed mattress had a full row of broken springs at thigh line The phone beeped the entire night The room smelt of dampness
When we arrived the room was at the top, as neither of us could handle stairs the staff straight away changed the room for us, it took away stress and made our stay very comfortable.
It is a very attractive looking hotel and the main reception and bar area are lovely but on my arrival the receptionist didn't even smile at me and answered my questions with one word answers and just handed me the key and sat down - really unfriendly, especially as I was on my own and it is a big deal travelling on your own. The bedroom was clean but the mattress was about 4 inches smaller than the bed base and there was absolutely nothing in the room to welcome you or tell you what time things were, Wi-Fi password etc. It was only when I happened to turn the tv on later on that I found a whole menu of options and info! The restaurant was pleasant and the staff were friendly in there and the breakfast was good.
We found Mercure Milton Keyes well appointed and a good price. The rooms are tasteful decorated and a good size, including the bathroom. We did not use the restaurant aside from breakfast and we enjoyed the buffet. We were there for a performance at The Stables and it was only 13 mins away so will stay again in the future.
Great hotel, great facilities. Most importantly the bed was comfortable and I had a great sleep. Would definitely stay again.
Was good for break when driving between South of England and Manchester
Very clean hotel
Nice location friendly staff nice room and nice breakfast
The privilege room was a great size with everything we needed and a fab view of the golf course. The bed was huge and super comfy and it was lovely and peaceful. Everything was superb.
It’s a very nice hotel, much better than the usual ones I stay at for work trips. The halal dining options were very limited but other than that it was very good
Really convenient location. You will need to drive but that was ok for me. They had a lovely outside area. We stayed for Japfest and it was great.
Had a great stay. Definitely stay again
Fabulous hotel and staff couldn’t fault anything at all even the food
Lovely hotel with friendly staff, convenient free parking and well located for Milton Keynes
The was hairs in the bathroom sink, the mattress was very uncomfortable. Didn't get a decent night sleep, not a 4* more like 3* hotel. But overall it was ok for 1 night stay.
Another good stay at this well run clean hotel. Look forward to my next stay.
Another good stay at this favourite hotel when I’m in the area. Very friendly staff.
Really good hotel, friendly, helpful staff. Ideal location for my needs. Food was good and quick
Good location for our needs
Nice hotel.
Everything a hotel should be will stay here again
Shower was amazing Room was lovely
Great comfort and cozy bedrooms for a sound night sleep, Hotel is safely tucked away in a quiet peaceful area, an excellent weekend hideaway
Great location, plenty of parking, quiet location
Great
Pros: Friendly staff, decent breakfast and a nice quiet area with clean rooms. Also was glad to use the gym even if it was tiny. HOWEVER. . . . . (1) - mucked up my breakfast order so had to keep negotiating that I had breakfast each morning. (2) - had to put up with an annoying DRUUURRR DRUURRR repeating noise that was easily audible from my room constantly and especially at night. So despite being in a quiet area, you have a constant noise of some kind of air con fan or generator or similar keeping you awake so you can't sleep. Well that completely neuters the point of it being in a quiet area. Now I don't know if that is a problem throughout the hotel, but I would imagine the floor I was on would be susceptible. (3) - The shower has a handle that is stiff as hell, can barely be turned and its handle is basically a square protruding barely from the handle with two sharp edges. How the hell would an old person operate it, I'm fit and in my 40's and I could barely turn it at all. And golfers would reside here which are going to be mostly old people. So for the price which is at a premium, it's no different really from a Premier Inn, except that the breakfast is a bit better, you get a gym and more noise.
I stayed in a privilege room for 2 nights and everything was so lovely. The room overlooked the golf course and was very peaceful. It was decorated and furnished to a very high standard, the bed was super comfortable, and the room was equipped with everything we needed and more. The whole hotel was superb, the food in the restaurant was excellent also. I can't recommend enough and I will definitely return.
The staff are pleasant and the room clean, but the facilities need renewing. I got into the shower in the morning and found the temperature dial just spun around. Loose knob. Reported this to reception, but had to have very cold shower as needed to get to appointment and could not wait around for repair. Also no indication on bath/shower controls which knob position did what. Just a polished chrome plate. Needed some form of sticker to say what each position did. Thought Reception might have offered something on checkout but no.
Reception and bar staff very helpful. Excellent condition. Might not be the best location for central Milton Keynes but was ideally placed for our purposes.
All is excellent as always
I stay here regularly and it is always my first choice when visiting Milton Keynes. I always receive a warm welcome from the reception staff, nothing is too much trouble. I use have a privelege room and they are very comfortable.
Stay quiet and provided the rest required
