it was a memorable stay especially for families the hotel had everything for all ages. for the facilities there was many options as you could have used all the other surrounding hotels pools and restaurants for breakfast so value for money was just great.

they put our room at the end of the hotel which was not very convenient. i would suggest some middle eastern food options but all and all it was very good and great.

Adult pools where great to find and the food variety was amazing

We found difficult to find sun beds for the general pools, we also found people being extremely noise when taking photos, not only that they took 100's of photos without respecting everybody else's space some were actually rude and invaded our personal space

Everything about this place is excellent! Kisik was our fav restaurant it. I exceeded rock bar which is just next door. The room was amazing. All the pools, gym, facilities were fantastic

Would have been great to have booked in advance for Kisik and rock bar. We still got in but limited days and time available. Rock bar itself had many sections so make sure to book the right one. 5 stars view and service but the actual decor out of date and menu we thought kisik is better. and book from 5.30pm onwards as everyone had umbrellas shading them and hiding the view.

We had a wonderful experience on the Uluwatu Temple tour! A huge thank you to our guides, Made and Wahyu, and our driver, Ketut, for making the trip so enjoyable. Ketut drove us safely and comfortably to and from the temple, which made the whole journey very relaxing. At the temple, Made and Wahyu were incredibly attentive—they guided us to the best viewpoints, helped us take beautiful family photos, and shared helpful information about the temple along the way. What really stood out was how proactive they were in protecting us from the monkeys. They kept a close eye on them and helped ensure none of our belongings were snatched, which honestly could have ruined the experience. Thanks to their care and professionalism, we were able to fully enjoy the stunning scenery without worrying. Highly recommend this team if you’re visiting Uluwatu. They were friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. Thank you again, Made, Wahyu, and Ketut!

This has been the worst and most unprofessional experience I have ever encountered at a luxury resort worldwide. I have solid, verifiable proof that I submitted my cancellation request on July 31st, fully complying with the hotel’s official cancellation policy. All operation logs and screenshots are available for verification. Shockingly, AYANA Bali has completely ignored my official evidence and fabricated a false timeline. The hotel unilaterally altered my legitimate cancellation record to August 1st as a false excuse to deny my full refund and terminate my valid booking without authorization. They refuse to return my payment AND refuse to restore my reservation. This is blatant double-standard exploitation of consumers. Despite me providing concrete evidence to prove my innocence, the management remained arrogant and unreasonable. They insist on enforcing their internal “unfair rules” over objective facts to steal customers’ money. As a world-famous premium resort, AYANA Bali operates with zero integrity and customer respect. Do not trust their brand reputation! Save your money and avoid this unethical hotel that scams international tourists!

The resort is beautiful, and the staff were absolutely charming, welcoming, and always very helpful. We felt very well looked after throughout our stay. The resort is, however, extremely large, which can sometimes make the experience feel a little less intimate. Breakfast in particular can get very busy and, at peak times, almost feel like being in a busy train station rather than a relaxing resort. This was probably the only aspect where we missed a little more peace and exclusivity. We also had a few disappointing and somewhat confusing experiences regarding access to the swimming pools with our 9-year-old daughter. We were surprised to discover that not all pools were accessible to her. We were even refused access to the Three Monkeys Pool because we were told that children under 12 were not allowed. However, the very next day, we saw several children there, which made the situation quite difficult to understand and rather frustrating. Fortunately, our experience at the Forest Pool was completely different. A very special thank you to Satika for her warm welcome, kindness, and excellent service. Her attention, smile, and professionalism truly made a difference and helped make our pool experience a very positive one. Overall, despite these few points, we had a wonderful family stay and would like to thank the entire team for their hospitality, kindness, and attention throughout our time at the resort.

We also loved the resort's private beach, which offers a peaceful escape with crystal-clear water and a unique setting that's perfect for relaxing away from the crowds. Breakfast was another standout. The selection was extensive, featuring both international and local dishes, all fresh and beautifully presented. The quality and variety ensured there was something to look forward to every morning. From the exceptional facilities to the warm hospitality, AYANA Bali delivers a truly world-class resort experience. We can't wait to return.

WOW Ayana is truly the best resort in the world! We love it so much that we have already returned for our third stay, this time hosting our dream destination wedding at Ayana Sky. WEDDING VENUE Ayana Sky is one of many wedding venues at Ayana. It is dreamlike and absolutely beautiful from every angle. It is a huge space that is located on a cliff that has a 180 degree breathtaking view of the sea. The landscaping is beautiful with manicured gardens and the layout is perfect as it contains designated spaces for the ceremony, cocktail reception and dinner reception. There is a stunning amphitheatre for the ceremony which is by far the most jaw-dropping ceremony venue we have ever seen. It was truly love at first sight and picture-perfect. There is a large grass area for the cocktail reception which also extends to a sun deck, gazebo and a bridge. The sunset from the sun deck is unforgettable. There is so much space available and we were delighted to be able to be creative and turn our dreams into reality. We set up a bar around the tree, a photo and video booth, live painter corner and even a badminton area! The dinner reception area is another vast plot of land with amazing views. There is sufficient space to host a lot of people and include a dance floor. We were blessed with wonderful weather and we hosted our dinner reception under the stars but it is also possible to set up a marquee in the case of bad weather. The food and drinks were generally good and we received positive reviews from our guests. Although there is a 10:00pm curfew for Ayana Sky, we were able to continue our celebrations indoors! Ayana recently built its own night club called After Rock that serves as the perfect venue for a wedding after party. The massive LED screen and incredible DJ kept the energy electric all night and our guests loved the late-night food stalls we added on. CUSTOMER SERVICE The Ayana experience is particularly wonderful because of its amazing personnel. Tiffany Lin provided an incredibly comprehensive and beautiful tour of all the wedding venues at Ayana and coordinated our menu tasting. Throughout our long Zoom calls and in-person meetings, her professionalism shone through; she answered every single question and made us feel entirely welcome and at ease. Tiffany’s expert advice was invaluable in helping us select the perfect spaces to host our multiple wedding events. We want to extend a special thanks to our wedding coordinator, Cristina Lawby. We were continually amazed by her professionalism, dedication, expertise and incredibly fast response times. Planning from overseas meant we had endless questions and concerns, but Cristina managed everything in a highly organized and detailed manner. Our plans and decisions changed all the time and Cristina helpfully kept track of everything. Wedding planning is not easy but we always felt like we were in great hands and that we could count on Cristina to make our vision come true. She is very attentive and made sure every detail was perfect for us! We were particularly impressed with the After Rock staff who ensured that every spillage was attended to within the minute. They were able to ensure that our dance floor was kept clean, tidy and safe. Special thanks to Budi who we met on our first visit to After Rock during our site visit. He gave us a wonderful tour and went above and beyond to make our visit very fun and memorable! RESORT What makes Ayana truly wonderful is its sheer size and the plethora of facilities and activities available. The estate spans over 100 acres and offers distinct types of accommodation styles (Villas, Resort, Segara and Rimba) to suit different preferences and budgets. Everything across the property is easily accessible thanks to a frequent tram service. There are endless facilities in Ayana and you can easily stay for a week and not have seen everything. There is a private beach, a museum, a farm, a spa, several gyms, 14 swimming pools, a museum, a farm, a spa, childcare facilities, putting golf, tennis courts and a massive garden. The estate also contains around 30 dining outlets including its own night market village with traditional performances (which is only open on certain days)! There are plenty of paid and free wellness, cultural and learning activities such as normal/SUP/aerial yoga, aqua pilates/zumba and various food and drink workshops. Ayana has its own phone app which provides a virtual concierge service and includes a map and detailed descriptions of all of its facilities and activities. There is something for everyone and the entire estate resembles an upscale amusement park. CONCLUSION Ayana’s wedding team is very experienced and reliable and is able to run their events effortlessly and very efficiently! We are 100% satisfied with choosing Ayana for our wedding and it is undoubtedly the most perfect destination wedding venue in the world.

We stayed for a week in Segara. The positives: very nice spacious, clean room; loved the private Kubu beach and that with minimal waiting could get sun beds every day, the service (except Sami Sami) was excellent 10/10, amenities very nice; the app was very convenient. The negatives: we purchased half board (on Ayana website) with 9 restaurants included which sounded great for 1 week holiday. On the first night dinner we realised that you only get 2 choices of cheapest meals from the menu. The half board worked well in a couple of restaurants (Dava and Scusa) as it happened that the 2 choices of meals were excellent. I don't even understand what is an advantage to prepurchase cheap meals in advance and have no choice what you eat for dinner. It doesn't feel there was any saving either of pre-purchasing as the meals were the cheapest options. If we knew this we would have not purchases half board. The drinks are very overpriced even for a 5 star hotel. The cheapest glass of wine (not great quality) starts at AUD25 in most restaurants which has spoiled dinner time for me as I am wine drinker. Given the wine prices i tried beer which is very limited choice and mainly local beer. We found Corona in one restaurant which didn't even taste like Corona. Overall experience was a mix of both very positive and some negative

Anyo was wonderful entertaining our 9 year old daughter and her 3 little friends at the pool. He kept them laughing and having a great time for hours. As a parent on vacation, his service was priceless! We are very grateful for Anyo!

The resort has beautiful facilities, with a stunning beach and a gorgeous rock pool. The restaurants are all mostly good, although they’re spread out across the property, so you’ll usually need to take a shuttle to get around. That said, it doesn’t have the authentic Bali feel I was hoping for, it feels more like a luxury resort that could be anywhere, with a huge number of tourists, especially influencers taking 1000 pictures of themselves. Despite there being around nine pools, they all seem to be very busy with loads of kids, and during peak times it’s extremely difficult to find a sun lounge. (Had to put towel down at 9am) also all pools except the rock pool were actually quite cold. Our toilet has been broken multiple times, the tv needed to be fixed and our shower was cold on one day as the hotel had no hot water. All in all it’s a beautiful hotel but it’s not for everyone :)

We stayed at the AYANA Resort for the first time on a second trip to AYANA with the first stay in Rimba. I must say the Resort Suites are so spacious and welcoming that our family of 4 has a hard time to say good bye 😅 The resort offers so many facilities, with more 10 dinner restaurants and 3 breakfast restaurants, several pool areas, a private Beach and the Rock Bar - we didn’t have a need to go out of the resort for anything- so if you look for a holiday to fully unwind and just enjoy sunny days without thinking about any practicalities this is the place - clean, comfortable and calm!! We will definitely be back soon and a special mention to Gues De, Arvy at the Padi restaurant and Aari at the Sami Sami restaurant - Also it’s the best India and Italian Food I have had so far on my 21 days trip 😀

Überblick und Kommumikation per App hat super geklappt und ist ein echter Gewinn bei einem Hotel dieser Größe und VIelfalt.

If "old money" has a look, this is it. It's decked in beautiful wood, old but well-maintained and timeless. Beautiful space with an array of amenities. Hop onto the buggy to explore their various resorts, and check out all they have to offer. We loved some of the curated shopping experience as well, not to forget the famed Rock Bar.

The Ayana resort and all its properties are an amazing collection of pools, restaurants, and beautiful views. My brother's family and I stayed at the Ayana Resort and Ayana Wana for a week and we are very happy that this is our introduction to Bali. The only danger of staying at Ayana is that you might not feel the need to leave the resort and explore the rest of Bali. Both resorts have a different feel and yet have the same high level of hospitality. The 4 resorts at Ayana (Segara, Wana, Rimba, and main resort) each has a its own restaurants, pools, and personality. Spending a week there, we had the opportunity to try all of them and each one was superb. The breakfast was mostly the same with small variances but the views and the ambiance were different. The pools were all different. Ayana resort pool had the sunset view while Wana pool had all the pool toys. There were also adult only pools which allows you to chill without children around you. The only negative is that the pool that you see on Youtube and Instagram is at the Ayana Villa and is only available from 7 am to 9 am unless you are staying at the villa. With that said, the kids with us were 100% satisfied with all the pools. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed. Our room at the Ayana resort was large and comfortable. Housekeeping includes a turn down service in the evening which is nice. Getting your room cleaned twice a day is definitely a luxury. My brother's family had the connected room at Wana and they absolutely loved it for their family of 4. Plenty of room for the kids. The negative about Ayana has to be its location. Jimbaran is in the south of Bali and is easily accessible from DPS airport in about 40 minute (depends on traffic). However, if you want to go anywhere else in Bali like Kura or Seminyak, it can be quite a long trek because of the traffic. Plan on an hour or more especially during the busy period or just plan all your excursions to start early in the morning. Fortunately, you do not have to leave Ayana to have a relaxing time but most restaurants outside of Ayana will be significantly cheaper than eating at Ayana. The amenities and what you get when you book at Ayana is pretty good. If you get an hour at the Thalassotherapy Pool, do not miss it. It is a wonderful experience and a good massage. The gym was also very good and has all the equipment you need for your daily work out. Finally, the internet and wifi was strong throughout the resort. Ayana resort certainly checks all the boxes for a relaxing vacation and is family friendly. I would definitely recommend Ayana for anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing resort in Bali. Extra bonus for those who have young kids that love pools. Ayana will not disappoint.

Their services are beyond great, paying attention on the details, I used hairdryer before we heading out for dinner, after back from dinner they tidy up the hairdryer in the draw. Bathrooms have cleaner all the time… we enjoyed very much!

The property is beautiful. The pools are stunning and gardens incredible. The staff are so welcoming and helpful. We did a botanical gin course which was really fun and Kartana knew so much about the local botanicals and cocktails. The gym was great too, and the trainer there was so friendly. The cooking class was excellent too.

The resort is nice and the rooms are clean

The hotel management placed me in the wrong hotel, I was put in Ayana Segara which is further away from the ocean and the amenities of the main resort and was never consulted about it. When I confronted hotel management they framed it as a free upgrade I never asked for, nor agreed to. This ruined the experience as I had to spend extra time travelling to the main hotel, and they did not take accountability for this mix up.

I arrived with high expectations after hearing so much about this hotel, and there's a lot to admire. The cliffside views are stunning, and the variety of pools is exceptional. It genuinely feels like a small town rather than a hotel. Booking restaurants was easy, the gym is fully equipped, and impressively, they still accommodated a late checkout even when fully booked, which bumped up my rating.

That said, the overall experience felt more like a theme park than a premium resort, possibly due to visiting during a very busy period. Breakfast queues were so long that we gave up on the buffet entirely and went elsewhere. If you don't get to the pool by 10am, you're unlikely to find a sun lounger until sunset, and most pools were packed with kids throwing balls around, which became tiresome when it was the case at nearly every pool. The shuttle system to get to the restaurants around the property was genuinely chaotic. Guests queued behind ropes with no staff managing the line, and when the tram arrived, it turned into a frenzy of people piling in, so much so that some who'd queued up first didn't even make it on. Reservations across the board, including at the spa, felt like an assembly line: queue up, get your allotted slot, and move on. Overall, a good resort with a lot to offer, but it fell short of the exclusive, premium experience I'd expected based on all the social media buzz.

Great family stay overall at Ayana Resort Bali. We stayed in the Segara rooms, which were comfortable, spacious, and well maintained, with a high standard of housekeeping throughout our stay. The staff were excellent across the board friendly, attentive, and very helpful from check-in through to handling any questions or requests we had during our time at the resort. Dava restaurant was a standout and easily the best meal we had on the property, both in terms of food quality and overall experience. As we were travelling with family, we didn’t get the chance to try the adults-only venues, but Dava alone was a highlight. The rooftop bar is also well worth a visit for the views and atmosphere, although it can be quite exposed to the wind at times, which slightly affects the experience. The Ayana pool area was excellent, particularly the kids’ section with the slide. This was a big hit and a real strength for families staying at the resort. In contrast, the Rimba pool was disappointing. It looked quite tired, with multiple loose tiles, poor water clarity, and visible debris including bits of plastic and leaves. Given the positioning and pricing of the resort, I would have expected a much higher level of upkeep and more consistent cleaning in this area. The spa experience was fantastic and a definite highlight, one of the best massages we’ve had and well worth booking in advance. Overall, Ayana was family-friendly with excellent service, great dining, and standout facilities.Some maintenance issues, particularly around the Rimba pool, took away from what is otherwise a premium resort.

I've been fortunate enough to stay at some beautiful resorts over the years, but AYANA Bali genuinely exceeded my expectations. An incredible collection of luxury resorts, with so many restaurants, pools and facilities that we never felt the need to leave the property during our 8 day stay. What impressed me most were the people. Every staff member we met was warm, genuinely happy and incredibly professional. Many had worked at AYANA for years, which says everything about how well the resort looks after its team and why the service is so consistently exceptional. The attention to detail throughout the resort was remarkable. Everywhere we looked there were gardeners, painters and maintenance staff quietly keeping the grounds immaculate and constantly improving an already beautiful property. The rooms were spacious and spotless, the food was outstanding, the cocktails delicious, and the magnificent pools overlooking the Indian Ocean made every day feel like paradise. A very special thank you to Eki Putra at Sushi Kimura, whose incredible knowledge of Japanese cuisine and genuine warmth made our dining experience unforgettable. When we learnt she travels around two hours each way to work every day, her enthusiasm and professionalism became even more impressive. Another heartfelt thank you to Setia at DAVA Steak & Seafood, who also looked after us so beautifully. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and his friendly, attentive service made one of our favourite restaurants even more memorable. Living in Australia, it's hard to believe somewhere this special is only around 6hrs away. We were already planning our next visit before we flew home. AYANA Bali isn't just somewhere you stay. It's somewhere you experience. For us, it truly was paradise on Earth. ✨

Everything was great. The cleanliness, friendliness of the staff, the location, restaurant and bar options as well as the quality of their food and cocktails. The amount and different types of pools and activities also makes it so that you never feel cramped or with too much people and noise anywhere, perfect to relax. Also has a great museum which is, without a doubt, worth the visit to know more about Balinese history, culture and traditions.

The only improvement point would be the options offered in the tourism office within the resort which, in our opinion, could have a broader range of options so that you can truly customize your travels, instead of just having the standard offerings you can see online as well.

We usually stay at another resort in Bali but thought we would try this one as a change, as it is talked up and iconic. We elected to stay at the Ayana part rather than one of the properties up the hill (rimba or segara), for proximity to the beach. Which was nice, and the property is beautiful. Most of the staff are very nice. The half board meals are quite good. However there are a few super annoying things about staying in Ayana. 1. Influencers/others posing for photos everywhere. 2. Everyone in the properties up the hill want to come and sit by the pool at Ayana. Many will come, drape a towel, a hat and a bag on the deck chairs then clear off. There is no “belongings left unattended for more than 30 minutes will be removed” sign. So we would arrive at the pool, all seats empty but taken. Also not a lot of shade by that 3. The drinks are the most expensive of any place I’ve ever seen in Bali. Cocktails $20 aud, soft drink $6 aud. It’s not easy to leave the property, and the fridge in the room is very small. So if you are wanting to get the most of your experience at the complex, you can be guided by the above. Stay up the hill, catch the bus down to the Ayana, leave some things by the pool. Ayana Bali resort is the most beautiful resort in the world I need to mention Liyana in the rooftop breakfast restaurant in Rimba who was exceptionally nice to me I arrived alone and sat where table was available and she noticed that I admired the view from the railing and gave me another table for four with the view even though I was on my own which made me so happy . Thank you Liyana

I highly recommend this resort to everyone—couples, friends, and families alike. We stayed here with our two-year-old son and had an incredibly comfortable and enjoyable experience. The resort is beautiful, the facilities are excellent, and the staff made our stay truly special. There were plenty of facilities and activities for children to enjoy as well as adults, making it a perfect destination for families. I would especially like to thank Indri, who took care of both our room and our son as a babysitter. She was an exceptional member of the team. The room was always cleaned to perfection, and her babysitting was truly professional. She was kind, caring, and made our son feel completely comfortable, which gave us great peace of mind. Thank you, Indri, for your outstanding service. You helped make our stay in Bali unforgettable, and we sincerely appreciate everything you did for our family.

We had the wedding of our dreams at SKY at AYANA and stayed at AYANA. From the moment we arrived until we checked out, every experience exceeded our expectations. The location is absolutely beautiful—quiet, peaceful, and free from the noise and crowds, making it the perfect place to relax and celebrate such a special occasion. Our room was comfortable, and well maintained, with everything working perfectly. The entire AYANA team was warm, professional, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our wedding and stay as seamless as possible. We would especially like to thank Mr. Tangkas, our wedding PIC. He was incredibly patient, friendly, organized, and diligent. Most importantly, he was always reachable and responded to every message promptly and we are so grateful for everything he did for us.

We had our wedding at SKY Ayana and stayed at the hotel for a few days with our family as well. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful, responsive, and generous throughout our stay, and they played a big part in making our wedding preparations much smoother and less stressful. Our stay was equally pleasant — the team went out of their way to accommodate our needs, and the rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we are grateful to the entire team for helping make such an important occasion even more memorable.
