This is a small issue but a bit annoying. People next door had a dog and small child so the noise level was high in the early hours. Also, the fitted sheet would ride up at my feet because it wasn't put on correctly or it was worn out and needed to be discarded

I took my husband away for his 60th bday. We have stayed at this location previously, without concerns. However, this trip the AC unit in-the room made a vibration we could not stop. My poor husband didn’t sleep AT ALL due to the vibrations throughout the night. It was too warm to shut the AC off altogether. I did mention it to the staff as we checked out, probably shouldn’t rent out that room before it is fixed. They took may name and number, but I have never heard a word. Very disappointing. Felt super bad for my husband.

Difficulty in using the gift card Room did not contain a table. Other rooms on the floor did contain one. We asked for one to be added to the room but it was not.

Great location and an outstanding staff that went out of it way to be helpful.

We had dinner from the restaurant. My meal (a BLT sandwich) was so salty that it was inedible. The restaurant manager was very apologetic and did not charge us for the meal.

Housekeeping, room service, the view from the bar, and the location were amazing!

The AC was noisy, the valet was expensive, and our room had a view of construction and was probably above the pool area given the smell and humidity

Déjeuner très cher, ils nous ont même facturé le café que nous n'Avons pas demandé il avait été déposé sur la table a notre arrivée, mauvais service, serveuse pas souriante et semblait ne pas vouloir travailler ni nous servir. Nous avons demandé une chambre avec vue, la réceptionniste nous a dit que nous avions vue sur la ville, mais en fait nous avions vue sur un bâtiment en construction a l'opposée de la ville.

Our room was oddly shaped with a tiny bathroom. Had to request room be cleaned because they overlooked us. Elevator broke. Elevators very slow. Construction across the street disturbed us each morning.

The valet and car drop-off experience was chaotic and poorly organized. Cars were backed up in long lines, and it was unclear who was directing traffic or managing the process. There was little to no assistance with luggage, making the arrival experience feel disorganized and frustrating.

The breakfast omelet was exceptional.

The location was misrepresented online. It wasn't "Harbor side". It was a construction site that began at 6:45am and railroad tracks and train whistles, and a highway with semi trucks hauling the salt from the salt mountains on the other side. The only onsite parking was an additional charge of $40 for a valet to park the vehicle within a few feet from the front door. The haddock sandwich for lunch was a nauseating, previously frozen, dry piece of overcooked mystery fish. The bed's mattress was sagging with permanent body impressions.

The staff are the stars here. They were all helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The room was spacious and clean. The restaurant was great. The valet service was quick and efficient.

The only thing we didn't like, but it wasn't that big of a deal, is that we stayed club level and the club itself was on a different floor. The breakfast options were really good, but the evening offerings weren't.

Donna the front desk manager was awesome. Gave us a water view room which unfortunately was blocked by huge salt barges - not the hotels fault! Food was good, drinks were good. Atmosphere exception, bathroom exceptional. They had valet service and valet parking.

Can't really think of anything - will stay here again!

The staff was fantastic. We had to leave a day early for an emergency and they could not have been more accommodating.

Nice place to stay on the waterfront in downtown Portsmouth. It is near the port so there is some industry nearby.

Front desk customer service was excellent. Also gentleman who served us breakfast was very friendly. Food was great. Loved the bed. And had a decent workout

Dinner in the restaurant needs to up its game and the bar stools need rubber on the legs because they make a god awful noise

Renovated spacious room and a location that's walking distance to downtown. The parking could be considered pricey, however parking in the area is a nightmare so it's worth it. I had a wonderful stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Checking into our room the safe was not working they told us we could change rooms and the room they gave us was a small triangler shaped room very claustrophobic, so we opted to stay in our original room took them several hours to fix safe so we lost our morning and early afternoon because of it

My husband and I had a short stay and everything was perfect. The room was spotless with perfect temperature. We had lounge access and it was perfectly staffed and all food fresh and plentiful! A special shoutout to Kara, at the front desk for being so helpful and welcoming - we will be back!

Joy at the front desk was over the top helpful, thank you Joy! Helped us check-in early, assisted with our special parking needs and advised what to see and do... The location made it easy to walk to lunch and dinner allowing us to enjoy meals right alongside the water.

Lovely hotel

Our stay was quite disappointing. We were awoken in the middle of the night by a neighbor who checked into the room next to ours and proceeded to engage in a screaming phone conversation for almost two hours. On top of that our toilet paper roll holder was broken. After complaining to the concierge, we were offered a discount, however they were unable to honor it because we booked through hotels.com.

Property appears refurbished with some modern touches. We had a room on the 3rd floor looking right into the driveway to underground garage, it was not at all noisy but it was a very small room! Club Room is on the first floor. Bfast on the weekend was busy but the very nice and personable lady serving the room was right on top of everything!!! Hot Selection is usually three, Oatmeal, Eggs, and Bacon/sausage. Coffee machine with ‘drink’ options was a nice touch and it actually worked 100% of the time! Cold case have an assortment of drinks and snacks. Overall a nice stay if you want CLOSE to downtown for plenty of places within walking distance. Note, they do appears to cater to a lot of Convention Meeting groups, Airline staff and Military groups, but our experience with these groups is that they are mostly friendly, ie not the drunken LV convention types!

My family and I were visiting the Landing School in ME and we’ve stayed at this location before. We had a lovely stay both times. The food is yummy and close to shops and attractions. Check out the Albacore submarine if you stay here!

Just wanted to give a shout out to the amazing staff at Sheraton Harborside! Everyone we encountered was so pleasant, welcoming, and friendly. Sue, in the club breakfast area, deserves special recognition...she is definitely an asset to your hotel with her warmth, attentiveness, and stellar attitude! In addition to the amazing staff, we found the hotel clean, the beds comfortable, and the food and beverages delicious. The location was both picturesque and perfect. We were able to walk to dinner and our show. If you need accommodations in Portsmouth, we highly recommend this outstanding hotel!

The front desk was amazing - Ben - He was friendly, efficient and empathic. I was exhausted from a long trip and he made the check in process easy and fast. The room was fantastic. We did room service in the morning and the breakfast was to us quickly and it tasted great!

Donna checked us in at the front desk when we arrived on St. Patrick's Day. She is very helpful and sweet and an absolute pleasure to talk with! There were cute St. Patrick necklaces and trinkets for guests set up on a table when we came into the lobby that were replaced later in the night with chocolate cupcakes with buttercream, mint frosting. We walked to all our favorite spots and wound up the night at the hotel bar, with the bartender, Dan. Not only does Dan make a mean martini, but his menu suggestions were on point! Trust and believe that everyone deserves a bowl of rich, chocolate gelato and some blueberry crisp. Both, suggested by Dan, and devoured by two very happy guests. The room was set up nicely and the bed was so comfortable! We will be going back this summer.

Overpricd, expensive valet parking, broken in-room coffee machine, broken ice machine on 2 floors, no coffee or hot water in lobby except in the morning, represented as a Sheraton but not at that standard, inconvenient location.
