7 rooms booked between us for a family wedding. Location by train station is great. Very comfortable rooms, very clean, quiet, very pleasant staff, great range of buffet breakfasts. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately we had an 8AM car rental reservation, so we were unable to take advantage of the breakfast offerings before leaving in the morning.

Breakfast was Excellent cold cereals, pastries, fruit, yoghurt and juices smoked salmon was very good quality and there was bacon and sausages. The staff were very friendly and the lady on for breakfast accommodated requests. The bed was very comfortable, bathroom was clean, functional and a good size Nice TV sensibly situated compared to many other hotels. AC available. The downstairs decor is unusual but works but the bedrooms are beautifully decorated

Room had aircon and huge bath towels. James was superb at helping us relax after hugely stressful journey. Good recommendation on eating options

Upon arrival I found out breakfast didn’t start until 0800. As I was staying for work rather than leisure I needed to have left by 0800, and found this to be very late and inflexible for a weekday hotel stay. As a result, the breakfast I had already paid for was unavailable to me. I mentioned this when I checked in, and the staff said he’d check with the breakfast team in the morning to see if they could fit me in. I heard nothing, and tried the door to get into the breakfast area, which was locked, so not having time to wait, I grabbed my bags and went to find somewhere that would serve me before I had to head to work. I’ve never stayed at a hotel with such restrictive breakfast times on a weekday.

Nice little hotel on the way to Stonehenge. Good breakfast, the lady at the breakfast room has been very kind and helpful with us, especially the last day, when she allowed us to have everything ready at 06.30 am

Room was clean and had everything you needed and breakfast was great. Air conditioning in this weather is great.

Shower was a little slippery needs a non slip rubber mat option. My room was a little smaller than when I stayed before but more private by not facing the main street which I preferred.

Beautiful turquoise & gold decor, 1930’s feel throughout. I was pleased to find they had decaff tea.

Almost all breakfast items were sweet (cereal, pastries) or meaty (bacon, sausage). I would have liked healthier options like tomato / mushroom / beans with the egg, and rolled-oat porridge.

Very comfortable room with air-con - as we arrived during a heat wave this was great. Excellent breakfast, good selection of both cold and hot options. Approachable and helpful staff. Although there isn't parking onsite we used the Just Park app and parked in Waitrose car park - about 15 mins walk away but very cheap.

The room was comfortable and spacious and the showering facilities were of good standard. Staff were generally nice, although it always helps to introduce yourself when meeting for the first time and not have to be asked for your name, just something that endears you to your customers better. Apart from that, I was given the necessary information and a cold bottle of water-I appreciated that as it was right in the middle of the heat wave.

Location was not the greatest-my room was close to the road next to the train station-it was quite noisy at times. Not the property's fault, perhaps, and yes, the proximity to the station might be an advantage for travel reasons. However, the business should consider better soundproofing if that is permissible in building regulations or the hospitality industry rules.

Great location - it's near the train station and very easy to find. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, very comfortable and clean! The bed was great and they have large fluffy bath towels and great water pressure. In the heat of an unusually warm summer, air conditioning was much appreciated! The breakfast is great with options for vegetarians. I highly recommend staying at Caboose!

So close to the train station. so easy to reach after arrival, so easy to leave for departure, so clsoe to the bus stop leaving for Stonehenge. Room I stayed in had character which I enjoyed. Bed just right for myself. Pleasant agreeable staff. Able to drop off bags early, and leave to collect for later departure.

Traffic noise

As I was travelling by train the location was ideal. I was able to drop my bag off on arrival and pick it up later on departure. It is a little way out of the city centre but just a short walk via a choice of routes. The staff were all very friendly, polite and helpful. Breakfast offered a good range of choices including a cooked option. All well presented.

Initially I did not notice the small sign about putting the key in the slot to enable electricity. I have seen this in large hotels but not small guest houses. A larger sign by the kettle would be helpful. Maybe I just need to go to Specsavers.🤣

The hotel was a stone’s throw from the railway station. The property, especially in the dinning room was very quirky in a nice way, very different. The staff very engaging with all guests, especially Kate, she couldn’t do enough for you, very nice lady.

Great breakfast, friendly staff and good location for where I needed to be. Bed was also comfortable and rooms had air conditioning which was a bonus in 30 degree heat! The hotel had a cool 1920s theme throughout.

Nothing I didn’t like but traffic was a little noisy as I live out in the country. The blind in the bathroom I couldn’t get to go down because I’m not tall enough but there was heavily frosted glass.

From the moment we arrived the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The property is delightfully quirky and interesting and we enjoyed the air conditioning in the heatwave!

I loved everything about Caboose! The location was amazing, and the room was comfortable and felt very safe. The staff were incredible, so friendly and welcomed me personally with COOKIES 😍 I loved my time here and will go back again as soon as I can.

One of the best experiences we've had in England. Not just Salisbury, which is well worth a few days' visit, but this particular accommodation, which is absolutely charming. Mrs. Kate and the young lady who greeted us at reception were absolutely delightful. The breakfast was incredible and plentiful, the location perfect, just two minutes from the station, and the room beautifully decorated. Special mention goes to the toiletries, which smelled wonderful. Thank you so much for everything; it's a pleasure to stay in places like this.

Muy buena ubicación, céntrico y cerca de la estación y de un parking. El conedor dónde sirven el desayuno muy bonito y el desayuno muy bien. La chica del bar miy simpática y agradable.

La limpieza muy justa. En la limpieza diaria solo estiraban un poco las sabanas, no ponian ni los cojines bien. En 4 días que estuvimos no repasaron ni un dia el baño.

The check process was very straightforward. The location is very good an easy walk into the city centre. My room was very clean and the towels and bed linen good quality and the bed was very comfortable. Excellent Wifi. The breakfast was really good all freshly cooked. The staff were really friendly. So all in all a good place to stay.

Even though we were in a King Size room it wasn’t very large and had no room for a desk and only one (uncomfortable) chair. Not good if you’re there on business or want to sit and read. The stairs are narrow and steep which could be a problem for those with mobility issues.

Valeria and Julia were delightful when we checked in, and the lady who served breakfast was quite lovely as well. We felt so welcomed, like special guests, not customers. The room was beautiful with a fireplace and nice decorations. The bath products were very nice as well. If I ever return to Salisbury, I would stay here. Just a few steps from the train station and easy to get the tour bus to Stonehenge. This stay was perfect! Highly recommend.

I liked everything. There are steps vs a lift so if you have mobility issues, you may want to look elsewhere. But we pack light, so not a big deal.

The room was spacious with a relaxing colour scheme and fittings that were more attractive than the norm Staff at breakfast were very obliging and chatty giving a homey feel to dining.

Sadly there was mould growing in the shower shelf and on the tiles of the shower.

Good choice at breakfast, whether you wanted continental or full English breakfast. Very tasty. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel, bedroom, en suite shower room were spotlessly clean, plenty of hot water. Bed very comfortable. I was surprised there was little noise from the nearby railway station. I will definitely be staying here again.

Lo mejor sin duda Valeria. Su amabilidad ha sido algo espectacular. Cabe destacar la comodidad de la habitación y lo bien cuidado que estaba todo. El desayuno un 11/10. La verdad que el pueblo nos encantó y este hotel además de bien ubicado cuenta con todas las comodidades.

Tal vez lo calurosa que era la habitación, pero cuenta con aire acondicionado y entonces no lo convierte en un problema.

Outside the window in room number 3 was a zebra crossing and all night all I could see was the flashing light at the crossing and also it was really noisy with traffic and people going and leaving the train station. The bed was not really comfortable
