The Crystal Lodge

Loved our 2-night stay at Crystal Lodge this July! The location in Whistler Village is unbeatable—walking distance to everything. Our room was super clean, quiet, and spacious, with a very comfortable bed and great AC. A special mention to Billy at the front desk for being so friendly and helpful, and we loved the complimentary lobby drinks every afternoon! Only small downside was that one of the two elevators was broken, which made waiting for the remaining lift quite slow (took 15 mins once when we had luggage). Otherwise, a fantastic stay!

This was a beautiful place to stay right in the heart of Whistler Village.. Perfect location and great value. The staff were warm and all our needs taken care of.

I stayed in the handicap accessible room because I use a wheelchair. The bed was too high, but I only had to request that the bedframe be rmoved and this was done in under an hour. The rool-in shower was easy to navigate and worked well after i transferred to the shower seat (which was attached to the wall). The staff really went out of their way and took great care of me and my wife. I will definitely stay at Crystal should I come back to Whistler!

We really enjoyed our stay in Whistler, and the hotel was very nice and in an excellent location. The gym is a bit of a closet room, but we were there to enjoy the outdoors activities so it didn’t matter.

we go every year for an annual hockey tournament. Staff are always friendly and accommodating. This year we had to bring our puppy and it was so nice that he was welcome into the hotel. Location is excellent as it right in the village, close proximity to everything. Loved having a full kitchen to cook as I have a number of allergies and eating out is always a challenge.

The location is perfect. The service we received went above and beyond our expectations. We were travelling with medical supplies being delivered in advance. We were notified when they arrived and they were in our room upon arrival. Fabulous service

The fold-out couch was the worst i have ever experienced. The mechanism did not work well to open the bed and mattress size left a 12-inch gap either at the top or the bottom and the mattress was very uncomfortable! This is our 7th year at Whistler and 5th at Crystal. I expect better, especially at 400$ per night. Maybe time to shop around for new hotel for next year?

I love this hotel Check in and check out are always fast and efficient The facilities and rooms are always super clean The staff at the front desk and the room attendants always go above and beyond to be helpful and accommodating There are tons of nice little touches at the crystal, they gave my son (7year old) a few toys to play with when we arrived which he loved Everyday we were there, there was something interesting going on in the lobby. One day it was a local beer tasting with a live band, the next it was a whiskey tasting and soccer game, it was great and it was all for free Which for Whistler is rare I appreciate the fruit water they always have in the lobby as well Its a small thing but I find myself constantly filling my water bottle from the station This is also a odd thing to notice but the parking garage has really nice murals in it, which makes it much more enjoyable then a typical drab grey parking underground So great staff, great amenities, super clean comfortable rooms, the pool and hot tub are always clean, its all makes for a very pleasant stay The crystal is my favourite place to stay in Whistler by far and I have stayed in almost all of the hotels in Whistler, I feel its very good value for the money

Loves the hotel, service and front desk was great. However after check out the next few days i got numerous small charges to my card. They had said i bought bags and cliff bars which i did not

Crystal lodge is so central you leave the hotel you’re right on the village stroll. It is still tucked away from the louder restaurants making it quiet. We use the bike valet to keep our bikes stored and safe when we aren’t using them and love this service.

Couldn’t fault the central location. The room was clean and comfortable and even had a balcony. (Unexpected and fab) We asked the staff for information on the local buses, and for their recommendations on places to eat. They were knowledgeable on both. They had a printed post card with their recommendations for breakfasts locally, with a map of where to find it. The pool looked clean and inviting but was limited on time and was sadly unable to use it. Was sad to leave as the stay was lovely and too short.

Really nice hotel in a great location. Nice big balcony area on the standard king room too. Rooms were clean and comfortable with lots of space. The only negative was the parking which was around $40 CAD per night which seems expensive.

We loved our time at the Crystal Lodge. The rooms were great, super clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The highlight has to be the location, it is easily accessible and close to absolutely everything in the village. It was completely worth the money spent and we wouldn’t hesitate to book here again.

Great location! Steps to the gondola, amenities are steps away and many lovely trails nearby. Lots to do and the scenery is spectacular!

The hotel itself was very cosy and its location was fantastic, right in the heart of everything. The staff were pleasant and helpful and the rooms were clean and adequate. We had just finished a road trip so had stayed in numerous hotels prior to this one and of them all the beds and pillows were the most comfortable here.

If there was one thing to be negative about it would be the size and location of our room. We were only there over night so it was fine but maybe a bit claustrophobic if staying for long and our view was a concrete wall.

Only stayed here over night but found the experience to be very pleasant. Had an issue with my room being double charged but management sorted it out very quickly. Overall we had a positive experience here.

Loved the massage chair in our room! The hotel is older but has been tastefully updated; the room itself was quite spacious, and we loved having a microwave and a set of dishes. The location is great and parking underneath (for a fee) was convenient. The outdoor pool was a moderate size but enjoyable, and it was super handy to have the Old Spaghetti Factory restaurant right in the hotel. The only real negative was the poor quality mattress that was saggy and uncomfortable; the bed definitely did not reflect the quality of the rest of the room and hotel, so hopefully the hotel will update the beds soon.

The room was very small and so narrow it felt like a corridor and never expected a quality hotel to have one side of the double bed against the wall. That is something a bit awkward at home when you have a double bed in a small room, not in a nice hotel.

We stayed for 2 nights while travelling around. The village can be a shock when coming from quieter towns but you get used to it. Whistler is a busy village , but the surrounds are beautiful with bear watching, and the Gondola up to the mountains for trails and mountain biking this time of year. Room was ok, had a microwave , bed was large ,and a nice bath. Clean and good service. Its a little bit of a noisy place until about midnight but nothing the hotel can do with bars opposite

We love the crystal lodge all around. Located in the centre of Whistler village surrounded by restaurants, shops and close by the whistler gondola. Room is spacious and clean for my family of 4, fully equipped with microwave fridge etc. All the staff are helpful. Fully reccomend this hotel.

Location was fabulous. Room was spacious and well appointed. Housekeeping was fantastic and so polite.. nothing was too much trouble. Would happily recommend this hotel

Great location, spacious rooms and very good customer service. Pool area is a bit small but nice to use. Sauna was good. Electric car Chargers were convenient.

I can't tell if this is a repeat of the survey I already filled in for the hotel itself or if it is required to complete my guest survey.

Right in the village…

Paying $35 per night for parking. This charge will make a difference when booking a hotel at Whistler next time.

Desk staff was wonderful. Cleaning staff also very helpful.

We found bath tubs are too deep to get in for senior citizens. We felt that must be mentioned by front desk when we checked in. It was scary and difficult. Need foot stool.

Proximity to the Village Centre

Single room with double bed was abysmal. This room makes no sense and was likely constructed to use some leftover space. There are some short and longer rectangular alcove that might fit skis and snowboards. But for regular people, there is little room for anything. One chair means someone had to always sit on the bed or stand up. One end of the double bed is flush against the wall so one person has to climb over the other to get out or one person has to get up to allow the other one out. Not practical during the night. The bathroom is likewise poorly designed. You cannot pull the toilet paper from the roll when sitting on the toilet. The hand towel gets hung in a recess between wall and vanity. The air conditioner is behind the drapes which blocks it when closed at night. All this was annoying but the clincher was the hundreds of kids in town for a dance competition running up and down the halls screaming day and night. Finally, the south floor was under construction so more noise and dirt. We were really looking forward to this weekend and it was a bust. To their credit, they offered to wave the parking fee for the 2 nights.

The room was very small, and one side of the bed was against the wall, so I had to climb either over my partner or from the bottom of bed to get in and out of bed.

The property is located in the village very close to the gondolas and lots of restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and well appointed. Parking is available on site which is a plus. We had special requests for a birthday and anniversary which accommodated and appreciated.

The air conditioner in the bedroom was a little loud and woke it on the first night, not the second.

Omg!! I’ve stayed at some of the best hotels around and I have never experienced such incredible customer service. German Laurence, the front girls at the counter, the manager, Andrew ….I mean everyone was outstanding. I’ve not gotten such great assistance from neighbours let alone hotel staff!!!! You walked by staff and they were genuinely happy to see you. It wasn’t a phoney smile it was real. When I tried to tip Laurence, he said no I tried to tip someone else he said no and then I insisted because they just went above and beyond not expecting anything. I asked them how come everyone was so great consistently and he said it comes from management. The manager is fantastic. Well, yes, he is fantastic and he shares everything with his staff and that’s what makes them all wonderful this hotel really really does care about customer service. The pool wasn’t open, but that was no one‘s fault because it had to be repaired, but that’s why I took off two points in my review but really 💯!!!!!!! thank you so very much everyone!!!!!! outstanding!!

It was central very clean, but I can’t say enough about the staff and management.

Close to most of the town and all the amenities.

Bed we’re not comfortable to sleep. Room could use some maintenance. Washroom door does not lock which is a problem when you are staying in a group.

The room was lovely and large. Treats and blanket provided for dog was a nice surprise. The location was AMAZING. The pool was closed but by providing access to other hotel pools was great and very much appreciated.

The price seemed high, and makes it difficult for me to rebook, and enjoy a stay here more often. However I also do understand the high 300's is a typical "average price" these days :(

Staff was short and uninviting, I requested a 1 hr late check out, due to a conference that I was attending. I was told it was not possible. So lost on valuable conference information. Not a conference friendly venue

The view was not half bad. Staff were pleasant. Housekeeping team was great.

The size of the room. Really thought that there would be a kitchenette or at least a bigger room. It was so small that my mom and I had to keep squeezing through to get things done.

The rooms were Spacious and there were two large bathrooms which was perfect as we were a family and an adult staying together. The kitchen was equipped with lots of cookware and plenty of utensils that were all clean. Overall the room was very clean, the beds comfy. They had the childs playpen in there ready for them to sleep :) The pool was great!

When we got to check-in none of the card machines seemed to work for any of our cards and so we had a long wait at check-in and had to eventually get cash out of the ATM to leave a deposit. Not an ideal start to the holiday with a toddler.

great location, I had a king room....which was very spacious, with a good-sized balcony, a nice kitchenette and tasteful decor. The bed was very comfortable with excellent bedding! They also have a nice pool and hot tub and the front desk staff were very welcoming!

One of the best hotel rooms we've ever had. So comfortable and convenient. Fantastic location, stunning views of the snow capped mountains from our balcony. Ski valet was a great service, and such an easy walk to the gondolas. Restaurants everywhere, supermarket 2 mins walk away. Comfortable bed, great shower pressure, bathrobes as soft as clouds. Plenty of space and storage. Everything you could need in the kitchenette. Staff were so helpful and lovely.

TV was unreliable, constantly couldn't pick up a signal. This was frustrating. Difficulty working out the aircon, so was a bit too hot and didn't sleep as well as we'd like. Had to be in the shower recess to turn water on - so icy cold and inescapable until the hot water came through.

The location was perfectly situated in the village so it was very walkable. The hotel had all the amenities that you could possibly need for a ski vacation. It was a nice perk to access Starbucks and Balam right from the hotel lobby.

The room had many beds which was nice, and had a full kitchen for us to cook dinner. The hotels communication was great and they were able to organize flowers and a treat for the birthday celebrant. Very central and walking distance to alot of places.

-One of the toilets didnt flush properly. Asked for the matience guy to fix it but after he did it still started to not flush properly. -Mini bar/snacks/drinks was extra. Also the hotel did not provide water bottles. We did not know if the tap water was safe to drink so we had to go all the way down to the lobby and fill our water bottles with the complimentary orange infused water jug. -Very noisy and you can hear the drunk people outside partying. But the hotel did provide ear plugs which is a nice gesture.

Modern facilities, we had a room with a kitchenette and had everything we needed. There is a supermarket not far away so we could either cook, get takeaway or go out. Staff very helpful, room was super quiet, ski valet was a treat. Proximity to gondola is fabulous. We needed to do a lot of laundry and they had a large washing machine and dryer which were efficient and easy to use.

The Crystal Lodge is in the middle of Whistler Village! The Stroll! There's a Starbucks and an Old Spaghetti Factory and LuLu Lemon and Roots and a bunch more in your hotel! You are in the middle of it all! The Crystal is a hub! Best location and a great place to stay. Nice pool and great food.

I ski whistler as often as I can. Over the years I stayed in many different hotels at Whistler but I always prefer to stay at the Crystal. Their location is perfect for proximity to the gondola, staff is very friendly and always willing to go beyond, to make our stay better and their prices are good (comparatively speaking).

Great central location. Close to ski lifts, shopping and restaurants. Friendly and fast staff. Clean room and common areas. Rooms are clean and spacious. We had two adults and three kids and fit well. Good value for how convenient the location. Noise level was fine. No issues. Has a hot tub and heated pool which was nice. Ski valets, ski rental shop all right there. If you are a family going to whistler to ski it’s great and we would stay here again.

From the early digital check-in process by email, through the careful instructions and services provided by Andy, it was perfect! The room was clean, well-decorated and bright. Ski pick up was fast and easy from the storage service. The service at the Old Spaghetti Factory and the pub near the lobby was superb. Pool at night with the kids was also a great highlight.

LOVED the Crystal Lodge! Our 6 person loft felt like home for the week and was perfect for our family of four. Location was unbeatable, amenities were plentiful and the staff went above and beyond (especially Andy at the front desk!).
