No se puede desayunar en el hotel… No dispone de una zona con chimenea de leña donde tomarte una caña o una copa…

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und ist mit dem Auto einfach erreichbar. Zimmer war sehr geräumig und sauber. Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Excellent emplacement pour profiter de Whistler à pied, tout en étant très facile d’accès en voiture. Hôtel moderne, propre et confortable, parfaitement adapté à notre étape en famille. Nous n’y sommes restés qu’une nuit, mais nous avons particulièrement apprécié de pouvoir laisser la voiture et rejoindre très facilement Whistler Village et les remontées mécaniques à pied. Une très bonne base pour profiter au maximum d’une courte étape à Whistler.

Rien de réellement négatif sur notre court séjour. Comme souvent à Whistler en pleine saison, le rapport qualité/prix est forcément influencé par le niveau général des prix de la destination.

L’emplacement près du Village et l’environnement global autour et dans l’hôtel. Le personnel s’est montré avenant et disponible comme souvent au Canada. Point positif, le parking « gratuit » vu les tarifs et conditions pratiqués dans Whistler.

Location was perfect

Not clean. When we got into our room there was a used cotton bud on the side and the bed sheets were crusty and dirty, it had definitely been slept in as well the bed wasn’t made. They moved us to another room which was a worse room so they moved us to what they said was a better room. In that room there was an old pot of opened yogurt so clearly not cleaned very well at all, didn’t even feel comfortable walking on the floors without flip flops on after that. Wouldn’t stay here ever again unfortunately.

Das Hotel hat eine traumhafte Lage. Ruhig und in wenigen Gehminuten mitten im Zentrum. Es war sehr sauber, modern und gut ausgestattet! Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Très décevant Notre séjour dans cet hôtel a malheureusement été assez décevant, surtout au regard du prix déjà très élevé de la chambre. La climatisation faisait un bruit extrêmement important, au point de rendre les nuits vraiment difficiles. Les chambres sont par ailleurs très petites, avec peu d’espace. Le parking est également un gros point négatif : il est peu pratique et coûte 27 dollars canadiens supplémentaires par nuit. C’est tellement la bataille pour avoir une place que l’on préfère ne pas bouger la voiture de peur de ne pas pouvoir se garer en rentrant. À notre arrivée, l’accueil n’a pas vraiment amélioré l’expérience : le réceptionniste était peu aimable et marmonnait dans sa barbe, ce qui rendait les échanges assez désagréables et difficiles à comprendre. Enfin, il y avait beaucoup de chiens dans l’établissement. Leur présence ne nous aurait pas forcément dérangés, mais à certains endroits, l’odeur était assez désagréable. Au vu du prix payé et des prestations proposées, nous nous attendions clairement à mieux. Une expérience très décevante que nous ne renouvellerons pas.

This hotel is located right near the Whistler Village, walkable distance to many destinations. The room was clean and spacious. Staff were extremely friendly and courteous. Parking is charged per night and is in the basement of the hotel. They have a pool, hot tub and sauna.

UPDATE: Management reached out, apologized, and issued a full refund for my unused night, showing great customer service. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I checked out a day early from my Aug 2–4 stay due to urgent home security alerts about a possible break-in. When I explained the situation to the front desk and asked to waive the second night, I was met with complete indifference. The employee, whose name I understood to be Angelica, showed zero empathy or urgency, and staff claimed there was no way to contact a manager. Hospitality is measured by how you treat guests during an emergency, and this cold experience originally left me deeply disappointed.

I MISS The Boat !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! all those years when I in Whistler for business or pleaser I always checked into those big chain resort , but thanks to my Office Staff this time she booked us into " Aava " for our AGM for couple days , I was flabbergasted when I check in to the hotel , not a extravaganza high price resort but the whole property so convenient located close to the village , and the environment feel home away from home so relax cozy lovely boutique hotel , characterful interiors friendly polite front desk staff , our room is upgrade to mountain views so quiet comfortable laid back spacious comfy bedding , modern bathroom not a spots can find I am very fussy eater and my hotel stay , super delight with Aava Whistler , gym and pool area well keep and there is no restaurant or Bar on site but the beverage station well stocked ( close to the Village , lot of variety eatery and Bar to choose from ) One of my manager from out of town so happy and grateful he find the hotel wheelchair accessible so easy from the street to his room , I all ready sent memo to the office from now on Aava Whistler will be my first and only choice to stay ! Thank you Management happy to say all your staff so professional all way have the Can Do Attitude ! I am in hospitality field over six decade , I know for sure what I talking about . just IMPRESSED how well the whole operation run ! I will be back for sure . if you looking for a convenient , modern clean cozy Laid back and budget friendly hotel , check the Aava Whistler first , you will thank me for sure .

Everything!! Modern, clean, comfortable & excellent location right in the centre of Whistler! Would be fab in the winter too for skiing - shuttle bus not required and a 5min walk to the gondola!

Nothing other than it being room only (which we knew about when we booked) and there are a couple of good supermarkets nearby. Note our room had fridge but no microwave or cooking facilities. It didn’t bother us but might be a consideration for a longer stay.

Excellent location with great bike facilities as well as a nice pool and spa. The room was really spacious which was excellent during a holiday where we were living out of bags and needed to sort stuff out. The laundry facilities were really useful and it's really easy to access lakes, trails and the village.

Our family of 4 stayed here in July 2026. The pros: Exterior of hotel is very nice and tidy Front desk staff polite and helpful Location is excellent, very walkable Price was reasonable for hotel Beds very comfortable Parking was good The cons Hotel common areas weren’t all that clean. Something as simple as the floor mat in the elevator had gross stains on it and was chewed up. Rooms weren’t all that clean, random hairs stuck to door frames that kind of thing. As other reviews have said if there is someone above you walking around, you hear it. I probably wouldn’t stay here again unless the rooms were updated. We stayed at the sister hotel (Summit Lodge) last year and it was far better than this hotel for not much more money.

Clean and great location

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share this experience. I booked a two-night stay from August 2–4 expecting a relaxing getaway. Instead, I received repeated emergency calls from my home security company about a possible break-in at my house. After the second alert on August 3, I had no choice but to return home immediately. I explained the situation to the front desk and asked whether the hotel could refund or waive the unused second night due to this genuine emergency. I understood they might decline, but what disappointed me was not the answer—it was the complete lack of empathy. The front desk told me only the manager could approve my request, yet they had no idea when the manager would arrive and said there was no way to contact them. I found it astonishing that a hotel could operate without any way of reaching a manager during an urgent guest situation. The front desk employee, who said her name is Angelica (that is what I understood in the conversation), showed no compassion throughout the interaction. I received no sense of urgency, no effort to explore alternatives, and no meaningful attempt to help. The conversation felt cold and dismissive, as though my emergency was simply an inconvenience. Hospitality is measured by how you treat guests when something goes wrong, not when everything is easy. This hotel had an opportunity to show compassion and flexibility, but instead chose indifference. I checked out a day early because I believed I needed to return home to deal with a possible burglary. I left feeling frustrated, helpless, and deeply disappointed. This experience fundamentally changed my impression of Aava Hotel. If empathy, responsive management, and genuine customer service matter to you, I cannot recommend staying here.

Great location with short walk to village

Although stated on Bookings.com and room key sleeve that every room contains a safety deposit box, after searching room, we were advised by front desk that our room did not contain one. Recommend guests confirm availability prior to booking room.

Our safe wasn't working, we reported it and reception said they would get someone up to fix it. When we checked out 3 days later it still hadn't been repaired. We were not informed that the hot tub bubbles were not working.

As is typical with high end ski villages, rather overpriced for what you get, room was ok. Small bathroom- shower floor was a little slippery. Chair n the room was unraveling. Bed was average. Paid extra for parking in underground garage (70 CAN for two nights). Did not find staff particularly friendly. Pool was quite small.

Room quite small for 4 people compared to other hotels.

Die Lage ist zum einen perfekt; quasi direkt an der Fußgängerzone, ohne mitten im Trubel zu sein. Zum anderen liegt sie sehr nah an der Schnellstraße, so dass Verkehrslärm (ab früh morgens) zu hören ist. Wir hatten ein großes Zimmer im obersten Stock (West Flügel), dass auch ziemlich hoch war (1,5-stöckig) - das schafft ein exklusives Raumgefühl. Das Kingsize-Bett war bequem; genauso wie das große Sofa. Schön waren der Kühlschrank und die Kaffeemaschine mit Pads. Das Badezimmer hatte eine große Dusche und eine große Badewanne - sehr chic! Die Milchglaswand zum Schlafraum ist zwar weitgehend Blickdicht, aber wenn man nachts das Licht im Bad anmacht, ist das ganze Zimmer beleuchtet. Das hat uns aber nicht wesentlich gestört. Der Pool war relativ großzügig; wir haben ihn, genauso wie den Whirlpool nicht genutzt. Beide Anlagen wurden aber gut angenommen. Durch die Nähe zur Fußgängerzone mit einem gut sortiertem Lebensmittelladen und Cafés ist auch für das Frühstück gut gesorgt. Das Hotel ist sicher nicht als super modern zu bezeichnen, aber es ist sehr sauber und attraktiv ausgestattet (z.B. mit hängenden Sitzkörben in der Lobby). Das Personal ist sehr freundlich.

Parken ist in Whistler allgemein eine Katastrophe. Das Aava hat zum Glück eine eigene Tiefgarage; diese muss aber gesondert bezahlt werden (ca. 15 Euro pro Tag). Ohne den oben genannten Verkehrslärm bzw. die direkte Nähe zu der Schnellstraße wäre es nochmal schöner gewesen.

Perfekte Lage, Pool zum Abkühlen oder Whirlpool zum Aufwärmen, tolle große Zimmer

Parken nur gegen Gebühr mit ca 25 Euro pro Nacht, es gibt leider kaum freie Dauerparkplätze in der Nähe

Noisy no sound proofing, no breakfast. Not cleaned properly found a few cans of beer under sofa bed!! Laundry room consisted of 1 washer for the whole hotel there was no way you could get your laundry done! Really poor would not stay again

My stay was a genuinely positive experience, largely thanks to the excellent service and thoughtful room design. From the moment I arrived, the staff interactions were outstanding—everyone was incredibly welcoming and entirely non-judgmental, which set a comfortable and relaxed tone for the entire visit. The room itself was fantastic. The high ceilings were a major standout, making the space feel exceptionally open and breathable. The bed was incredibly comfortable and provided a great night's rest, while the bathroom was spotless and well-appointed. While I don't drink coffee myself, I did notice that the coffee amenities provided were well-stocked and nicely presented, which is sure to be appreciated by guests who enjoy a morning cup like my friend,.

There are a few common areas that could use some updating. The elevator feels quite old, and adding some background music would be very helpful in making the ride a bit more pleasant. Additionally, I noticed that the carpet in the hallway had a bit of a musty smell, which detracted slightly from the otherwise great atmosphere.

Loved the close proximity to the village and the lovely Australian lady who checked us in. Everyone was smiley and pleasant.

La gentillesse a la reception .La situation geographique .LA grandeur du logement .Les equipements pour cuisiner . Prix plus que correcte vu l emplacement et la ville . A 5 minutes a pied de tout ! De quoi mettre les velos en securité .Un parking ( payant ) juste en dessous de l hotel .

Peut etre moyen de consolider l insonorisation .Et juste faire attention a la propreté dans les ascenseurs .Le frigo a du etre debranché tellement il faisait du bruit .

There was zero soundproofing-we could hear every conversation in the hallway, every door opening and slamming shut, dogs barking in adjacent rooms . . . NOT a peaceful, restful stay!
