Reviewed Aug 22, 2026Positive aspects * The bed was comfortable. * The room was generally adequate, although the bathroom was quite dated.
Negative aspects After many years of travelling and staying in countless 3-, 4- and 5-star hotels, I have never experienced a hotel this disappointing, particularly because of the staff’s attitude and lack of courtesy. The breakfast experience was especially frustrating. This is genuinely the first hotel I have ever stayed at where, if you want a cappuccino, you are expected to make it yourself as if you were the bartender. Seriously? I have never encountered anything like this in a hotel. A brown/blonde-haired waitress brought me the milk and a stainless-steel jug and simply told me that I had to make the cappuccino myself. Her attitude was extremely rude and unwelcoming. Considering the hotel category, I found this completely unacceptable. The breakfast itself was also quite poor and offered only the bare essentials. The location is another downside, as the hotel is outside the city centre and a car is essentially necessary to get around. The bathroom is also quite dated and would definitely benefit from renovation. Overall, a very disappointing stay, mainly due to the unfriendly staff and the poor breakfast experience.
