Reviewed Sep 18, 2026On the night I arrived, your receptionist was most unhelpful and gave the impression it was too much for her to direct me properly to a local car park given you have no car parking facilities. Other than "2nd left", her directions caused me tremendous stress and inconvenience in finding one after a long drive from South Wales and I spent 30 minutes searching for one. She also almost threw my key at me. However, your Asian receptionist, the following morning, was delightful.
More helpful and written directions and plan to the car park please

Smoking inside the hotel corridors. I felt bad for the homeless people sleeping outside who coughed so violently in the night.

Reviewed Sep 17, 2026The bed sheets and towels were clean. It was positioned right next to the bus station and near the city center. Kettle, hairdryer, iron and ironing board provided.
The room doors slam quite loudly so I was woken up each time another guest entered/left their room. The room was a bit dated. The pillow was very hard. There were some sticky patches on the carpet. Finally on my last night, a small cockroach appeared from my things.

Bathroom was not cleaned properly and cigarette burns on the shelf next to sink not a nice sight, the bathroom floor was not cleaned dirt in places , The room was ok apart from the carpet was dirty, and had cigarette burns in the carpet .

Had travelled from yourshire so needed a shower was looking forward to a restaurant meal. Half an hr in after whilst getting dressed two rats ran down the room cluching the skirt. I did notice thst there is a stain on the carpet all around the skirt so im guessi this has been an issue for some time left immediately, the reception was rammed so never got a chance to request a refund or air my views, booked another hotel on here.

Staff on arrival were not helpful very blunt no smiles..asked what time the bar was open all i got was later...room was dirty mirrors not cleaned on wardrobe . Light switch was covered in sticky stuff which i had to clean..remote for tv wasnt working but found another 1 under the bed Stayed in many of these hotels but this is the worst..staff need proper training on customer service

The reception staff was very rude, she was Spanish lady did not great us or no smile on her face like we wear there for our need not for them like we paid the money not staying there for free, atleast hello and thank you after checking in. After some time we saw her arguing with other guest as well. Looks like she hates her job.

The thing I didn't like is not having intercom in the room to reach the reception. Maybe not all rooms but mine in the 4th floor didn't have. Also a little bit of body lotion can also be placed in the room for someone may forget to bring, there was none in my room. Overall, 👍👍👍

The giant turd in the toilet! The room stank of bleach but they had opened the window. People smoke in the corridors. Some staff are pleasant but I didn't meet any this trip. The bed was all springs and very uncomfortable.
