La struttura ha una bella posizione sul fiume, con un bel giardino in cui brucava un simpatico coniglietto. La nostra camera era spaziosa e comoda, col frigo ma praticamente senza finestra. La nottata ad Upington è stata molto fredda ma nella nostra stanza si stava bene. Comoda posizione per andare a cena in città e per fare tappa prima di andare al meraviglioso parco del Kgalagadi. Staff gentile e disponibile. Sala colazione vista fiume.

Wonderful management, who upgraded our room and were always willing to help, including assisting with removing feathers from the room due to my allergies. A stunning view of the Orange River and lovely breakfast each morning made for a great stay.

The river front

Open plan, bathroom in bedroom is unacceptable. Bed linen tired and not fresh. Pillows need replacement. We used outside braai area which was not cleaned and municipal dustbin was full. Pet monkey and swimming pool light is disturbing to bedroom lighting.

We like the location on the river and fact that we had secure parking.

The second night there was not sufficient secure parking on the property, and we had to park in the dark street. There was no guest toilet on the property so if your friend was using the bathroom, you could not use a guest toilet. The guest toilet we found one night outside, in an emergency at 2am when my friend developed a stomach bug and had a very runny stomach and was vomiting. We had to go outside in the dark, around the corner downstairs and past gates, which was really not nice as it was a real panic situation. Toilet paper is a necessity, and they should not skimp on it. I also believe a guest toilet is a necessity on any premises. The coffee in the room was instant and milk was powder milk. We had to ask for real diary milk which they did supply. A coffee plunger with ground coffee would have been a nicer touch.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived late and there was a little bit of a tricky parking situation but was sorted out quickly. The bed and the room was comfortable however the security light outside shone into the room the whole night. The room was a little crowded as the bed was massive but overall perfect for an overnight stay. We had dinner there which was really tasty very overpriced but was a big helping.

Very comfortable with lovely garden and view over the river. Super comfy bed. Spa bath was a treat. Staff very friendly. Breakfast outstanding!

Parking is a bit of a challenge ( a bit tight), but secure off street. Not sure about big bakkies and trailers though! We had a Rav4.

The river view is stunning and so relaxing.

The property’s fantastic location and clean, lovely-decorated room made it a relaxing place to stay. The garden overlooking the Orange River added to the charm. Two parrots, a rabbit, a cat, and a couple of frogs welcome you on the property. Morne, Louw, and the team were very friendly and professional. We had a great time. Very recommendable.

The place is indeed top notch and for the price charged, you really get more than what you pay for.

This property makes a fabulous secure B&B. We’d a very warm welcome on arrival and Lowe and Debbie did a marvellous meet and greet check-in. Fabulous breakfast, and close to the airport and easy access to the Quiver Tree Route! The Orange River view from the garden to die for!

Beautiful, cozy, great location. Quiet and absolute value for money. Friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was delicious. Would recommend this place to any traveller.

Although the room and bed was beautiful, the bed was unfortunately creaky.

Ein tolles Frühstück und ein wirklich sehr schönes Zimmer mit Blick auf den Fluss und den Garten. Eine Whirlpool Badewanne/Dusche rundete die Einrichtung ab. Eventuell sollte man mal über eine Trennwand zum Bad nachdenken, aber uns hat es nicht gestört. Die Lage ist hervorragend und zu den Restaurants (Hennie's und Steakhouse) sind es nur knapp 10 Minuten zu Fuß. Was auch sehr zu Empfehlen ist, ist eine traumhafte Fahrt mit der schwimmenden Bar Sakki se Arkie in den Sonnenuntergang hinein, die auch nur fünf Gehminuten vom Moonriver Guest House entfernt liegt. Von hier aus kommt man auch in knapp 1 Stunde zum Kalahari Nationalpark. Aber da nimmt man sich dann besser ein Zimmer vor Ort.

There were not Windhoek lager beer and the coffee in the the room were not Jabobs brand.

They accommodated us to have late breakfast, the omelette was great, staff was great. Very nice lookout on the river .

Parking not great, safe but not great. To small, i had to climb out bed early, because vehicle in front had to leave.

The property is centrally located and next to the river, nice pool with pool slides for the kids. Staff were very friendly.

Our room was over crowded and hardly any place to move. There is a tv, but the wooden bed 'frame' is in front to the tv and makes it difficult to watch. The second room with the river view had lots of lighting and a beautiful view, but the room smelled like cat urine. The pics shows a trampoline - which was one of the reasons I chose the property as I travelled with children, but upon arrival there was no trampoline, only the pool with slides.

Location is Just Perfect, Peaceful, Plus a View of the Great Orange River. Garden with Pool, the Room i got was Fit for a King and all His wives . Big enough to Host a whole family. Best Breakfast and the breakfast Packages are even better 😋. If I could I'd extend my stay.

There's Nothing to Dislike there.

Unfortunately, Upington had a fairly severe rain the previous day and our room's ceiling caved in. We were contacted telephonically and informed of such and were promised that other arrangements would be made. The other arrangements were however at another lodging with the room at the back of the premisis without any decent windows. The chef also took ill (noones fault) but when we heard of this decided to make it easier for them and did not order a meal. Overall very disappointed, BUT the staff really tried to help. I felt that the owner should have compensated us somehow, as the staff suggested us, but nothing happened.

There were other very nice rooms available at the 'replacement' lodgings, but we were put in a very disappointing place.

Everything was convenient. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The view from the terrace is amazing, especially the sunset. It is also very peaceful, made for a nice weekend away.

Am Fluss gelegen; gesicherter Parkplatz. Zimmer ausreichend groß, bequemes Bett, Kühlschrank, WiFi, Terrasse. Gutes Frühstück; gutes Abendessen wird im Haus angeboten.

Aktuell Renovierungsarbeiten; insgesamt sehr hellhörig.

Everything about the place was amazing.

It had everything we needed, with friendly staff, perfectly pet friendly and within walking distance to the shops and local take away restaurants.

Room5 was cluttered. The bed is too big and has a big frame around it that obscures the television. There is hardly any room to move. It's a hassle to park and move your car.

The view on the riverbank and swimming pool with green lawn, perfect for a sundowner. Nice breakfast.
