Las dos puertas del baño no se cierran bien, porque la madera de la misma debe estar hinchada. Tal vez faltaría otra butaca en la habitación donde está el sofá Pero como nosotros estuvimos en el año 2024, hemos visto que ha quedado muy bien la restauración y esperemos volver pronto

Great location as it was very close to the Colosseum! I liked that there was a gym. And breakfast selection was grand!

We got an upgraded room without request, where the AC didn’t work. They placed a window unit, which over three hours did not cool the room down anymore than 25 C, which is hot and uncomfortable. At 1am, they wanted to send someone to fix the issue again. Finally, they offered us a new room, which I was told since we got a free upgrade, we won’t have the same quality. Mind you, we never asked for an upgrade. In fact, I made it clear I only want a room without request working AC, that’s all. The manager tried to compensate us for the first night, but now over a month after departure, I am still waiting for what was promised.

Hele aardige en behulpzame personeel! Hotel is erg mooi + schoon. Ook het ontbijt was goed veel keuze! Onze kamer was meer dan prachtig deze werd 2x per dag netjes gehouden en tot onze verbazing zelfs klaargemaakt om te gaan slapen met elke avond een nieuwe flesje water op je nachtkastje en je pantoffels naast je bed voor als je wakker word. Wij zullen zeker nog een keer terugkomen en zullen het hotel aan een ieder aanraden.

Velmi pekne ubytovanie a sluzby

Nos asignaron una habitación recién reformada, muy cómoda y agradable. Además, reponían botellas de agua de cortesía todos los días, un detalle que agradecimos mucho. La ubicación es inmejorable, muy cerca de la estación de metro de Cavour, lo que facilita muchísimo desplazarse por Roma y visitar los principales puntos de interés.

Como aspectos a mejorar, el desayuno nos pareció algo limitado y repetitivo, aunque todo lo que ofrecían era de buena calidad. También notamos algo de olor a humedad en el baño por las mañanas, aunque desaparecía conforme avanzaba el día.

The location was great. We could walk to many of our activities and to some wonderful places to eat. The room was large and full of light, quiet most of the time. The bathroom was big with a fabulous shower and double sinks, plus a separate toilet and bidet. The air conditioning worked really well. We received one large free bottle of mineral water daily, some of which we stored in a smaller bottle of our own in the packed snack refrigerator. Breakfast was abundant and available from 6;30 to 10;30. This is a large, busy international hotel with lots of people coming and going, which affords anonymity.

We prefer lower pillows, and my husband thought the bed was too soft. There were times when very loud children ran up and down the halls yelling at each other. Our TV broke one night and kept turning on by itself every ten minutes. Maintenance people pulled it out from the wall and fixed it the next day. For the cost of having laundry done we could have bought new clothes and thrown away the old ones, and then we were charged twice for the same batch, but we caught it and the bill was corrected. There are probably twenty different light switches in the room, and we never seemed to get them straight. The breakfast, while decent, is served in a zoo like atmosphere where if you want fresh squeezed juice you're told to make it yourself in a juicer that puts the pulp from someone else's drink into yours. I felt sorry for the harried breakfast staff whose main job was to clear away plates and set up new tables. Most importantly I would warn potential guests to check your final bill. We were in a hurry to catch our taxi to the airport and missed the extra charge of 104 euros above and beyond what Booking.com quoted as our final price. It turns out this was an extra service charge in lieu of tips for the staff. Italian law says that these charges on a bill must be disclosed, but they weren't. They are supposed to be at the guests' discretion, so they are voluntary. We had already tipped our maid each day with cash and thought that was the right thing to do. I just hope that the extra charges are really distributed to the staff and not kept by a corporate entity.

The hotel has a great location close to many attractions and good restaurants. The rooms are specious and very clean. The breakfast is delicious with wide varieties. Staff are friendly and very supportive. I certainly recommend this hotel. I will myself use this hotel when I come again to Rome.

This hotel has got to be one of the best on Rome. Celebrating our 30th Anniversary, the hotel staff made our visit very special for us. The welcome and small touches made it perfect. The location is perfect with the Coliseum just around the corner. We had a one bedroom suite which are truly spectacular and very much recommended.

The level of service provided by the staff at this hotel was 5 star standard. The meals that we had in house were also of a great standard. We were made to feel very special on check in with fresh flowers, champagne and fresh fruit in our room. We will definitely stay here again when next in Rome.

We had a great time staying here for four nights. The location was excellent, and the breakfast was very good. Most of all, Isabel was incredibly sweet and extremely helpful throughout our stay. She was always happy to answer our questions and assist us with anything we needed. We arrived early in the morning, and although our room wasn’t ready yet, Isabel kindly provided us with a temporary room where we could rest. We truly appreciated her thoughtfulness and hospitality. Highly recommended!

The location is excellent, and the hotel is in decent condition. The beds are very comfortable, the rooms are large and comfortable. The bathroom is superb, with a spacious shower and bidet.

Breakfast was lacking in variety. The bread was burnt every day. Furthermore, the toast was of poor quality. Scrambled eggs were made from powder. Regular fried eggs were charged extra. Tea was only available black. Hot sausages were cut into finger-sized pieces and swollen with water. The hotel offers parking, which is important in the city center. However, we were denied parking for unspecified technical reasons. My stay was completely ruined by Booking.com's unagreed-upon security fee, amounting to €75 for three nights at the hotel. When I cited the reservation, they threatened me with police action!

Lovely and convenient hotel to stay in for visiting Rome especially close to Colosseum and the Roman Forum.

The breakfast was a pretty average and unappealing for the price charged, even though this is a standard level of cost across most hotels. The service there was rather average.

What a fantastic hotel! They remodeled since my last stay in June of 2025. The rooms are very high quality. Bathroom was large with a beautiful walk-in shower. The staff were all amazing going out of the way to help in any way. An included full breakfast buffet was delightful. A very nice bar where Lorenzo makes a great Old Fashion! This place is an immaculate hidden gem a block from the coliseum. I highly recommend staying here if you’re planning a trip to Rome.

We stayed as a family in connecting Family Deluxe Room. Six of us. It was amazing. This is a fabulous hotel. Its down as 4 stars but delivers 5 star service. Breakfast is amazing with real variety on spread. All efforts are made at the front desk to ensure ultimate customer satisfaction and that rooms are kept spotless. Then there's the location. You are very close to the colosseum on one side and Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps on the other with a whole sea of restaurants in close vicinity. I left my credit card on the final night at the front desk and was en route to Airport. The front desk was able to connect with the taxi driver and then the gentleman at the front desk brought the card out to me without me having to get out of the taxi on return.

Todos os funcionários foram muito atenciosos em especial a Tatiana da recepção, ela é brasileira e nos recebeu com muito carinho inclusive recebemos um upgrade para uma suíte maravilhosa, moveis novos, tudo cheiroso e muito limpo. A noite a camareira arrumava o quarto novamente, trocando as toalhas, deixando de cortesia garrafa de água nas cabeceiras e chinelos ao lado da cama. Ahhh a cama e os travesseiros eram maravilhosos , perfeitos para repor as energias após um longo dia de caminhadas. O café da manhã era delicioso. Muito perto do Coliseu e próximo ao Termini. The location was perfect right beside the Colosseum, with plenty of restaurants nearby. The staff were also very kind helpful, and trustworthy. We accidentally left some belongings behind after checking out and the staff informed us and made sure we knew about them. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had a lovely stay here. Less character and charm than some other Roman options, but the rooms were so nice, the service was excellent, and the breakfast spread was so delcicious that it was an acceptable trade. Just a short walk to the Colosseum, 20+ minutes walk to other major sites. Would choose again, especially for a family with multigenerational needs.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights with the family. The hotel is in a great location , close to the Colosseum and other major attraction, so it was very easy for us to explore the area. They have very professional and friendly staff. The breakfast was very varied , fresh and with plenty of option for everyone. We enjoyed our family stay.

Aircon could have been better, the room still felt warm especially at night. The Room was not ready for check in time which was disappointing, we waited 1.5 hr in bar area being told it wouldn’t be long, would have preferred to be told it wasn’t ready and store our luggage. Unreliable turn down service - some nights no one came, therefore no water when returning from a long day and night out , which was disappointing for the price point and other compared to other hotels in the chain.

It was 100 degrees outside and the AC was broken!!!! Try sleeping in stifling heat. The water temperature was nearly impossible to lock in… on its own it would swing from burning to freezing. The gym had no AC

We enjoyed our stay, the staff at the reception desk were fantastic (shoutout to Maria). Well-appointed rooms with a terrific panoramic view, water and macaroons (we also had a separate sitting room). Breakfast was excellent and the location (near the Colosseum, restaurants and subway stations) was perfect for our first time in Rome. We would come back.

My husband and I stayed for two nights on July 29th and 30th, 2026. We were very fortunate to have been given an upgrade and we stayed in room 801. The room was beautiful, clean, had plenty of amenities including US outlets, and an awesome view of the city. The toiletries smell absolutely amazing. I loved the shower gel and lotion. Housekeeping was impeccable. The beds are extremely comfortable and the staff overall was very helpful and pleasant. Any time we had a request, they were extremely prompt and courteous. From the moment we arrived we were immediately greeted and helped with our many bags. It was well before check-in so we had to wait a short time for our room to be ready. We sat at the bar and thoroughly enjoyed a cold beverage. The breakfast was HUGE and had literally everything and anything you could want. The waitstaff kept the dining area clean and were very quick with beverage requests. The cappuccino was SO GOOD. The breakfast hours are great too for both the early risers (my husband) and the slow-getters (me). The ONLY negative is that the A/C was not sufficient for the 100 F/37.8 C days and being on the 8th floor probably didn't help. However, the front desk staff gave us a fan and we were able to sleep very soundly with it blowing on us during the night. We would absolutely stay here again, just not during the summer. We plan to visit in spring or fall next time.

The FH55 Hotel is one that I would highly recommend. The service, food/drink and room was outstanding. The staff is very professional and met all our needs. The location was perfect as we could walk to the various sites with no issues.
