Location was great! Walking paths along the river,restaurants near by and nice downtown.

The hotel was under renovation. We didn't know at time of booking(noise and dirt). The first room we had given to us had a film of dirt in the tub. We got switched to a different room with a view of the river(nice). The person next door had put a tray of dirty dishes outside their room and it stayed there for almost 24 hours before I told the front desk!

Not the cleanest, bathroom floor was very dirty aswell as the carpet along the walls.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay in delta hotels by marriott bessborough. Is it comfortable and lovely room. Also, the breakfast was fantastic!

The architecture and design of the building. The location is fantastic.

The upkeep or maintenance of the building is lacking, carpet edges are fraying, stained ceilings, loose toilet, stained sofa, dust seriously built up in ceiling fans of elevators, damaged ceiling panel in elevator, just to mention a few. I don’t expect perfection but these all add up to poor maintenance.

We need many accommodations and lots of assistance when traveling, the staff was very friendly, eager to help and polite. We had a couple little hiccups on our end and they were more than helpful. Our kids felt like royalty staying in the castle.

The pool was very very chilly!

Breakfast was wonderful, location was great. Was easy check out.

Check out could be moved to noon. Beds need updating

It’s our second time staying at this hotel, and we loved it just as much! The room was clean and spacious, the staff were very friendly, and the location couldn’t be better. We also really enjoyed the pool area with its sauna and hot tub. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Saskatoon!

Couldn't use digital key/check in as advertised, unclear communication and booking procedures online and throughout- didn't have anywhere to stay for the weekend. First employee I spoke with on site was dismissive when I arrived, it was late and I looked as tired as I felt. She phoned the bedroom phone while I was in the suite to let me know my booking wouldn't work, when she knew it was late and I didn't have another option. Framed it as doing me a courtesy, but it was really hard to have to stay in my vehicle after going in the room when I really needed rest. It isn't the safest downtown at night and there are added safety issues in my situation. Im in the process of getting a Protected B passport and taking a leave.

I have been staying here at the bessborough for the last 11 years for the Rock the River event and have had amazing service! Great location to take in restaurants, the walks along the river, the mall to shop and the car show as well!

The high price increase in the rooms the last couple of years!

I haven’t got my incidental deposit authorization back to my credit card yet, even after I had already checked out for almost one week. The authorized transaction was simply disappeared on my credit card statement, and the credit limit has been released to reflect the transaction in correct amount. Frustrating that it’s must be improperly processed by the hotel staffs! What happened?

Really enjoyed staying at the Bessborough. The staff were lovely, the property itself is incredible and our room was perfect. Spacious, clean, comfortable and great beds. The local area is fun for shopping and dining. The riverbank area is gorgeous.

The microwave hidden by the elevator. The location of the coffee maker. The lack of ease moving in the hotel and hotel room. The restaurant advertised on the website but actually in another hotel. Generally disappointed, as I had high expectations. We had stayed at a Ramada in Emerald Park outside of Regina for 2 days prior and that hotel was nicer, more welcoming, more ease as small things were thought of and done well.

There was a loud rattling noise in the original room I was put in, but they were very quick to help me to a different room.

Loved our stay was a last minute family trip to Saskatoon. The only complaint would be what was outside in the park. Also would have like to go into the garden area but it was locked up

Beautiful old hotel with rich history. Lovely rooms with comfortable beds. The staff is friendly and accommodating and there is a lovely garden area in the back, facing the river.

Beautiful, historical hotel in a great location. Great views of the river where you could take a nice walk. Close to restaurants and shopping as well. Breakfast was delicious, although a little expensive. Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at the Bessborough for Rock the River from August 14 until the 18th. Our room faced the river and had center view of the stage. For an older hotel the room was a great size and clean. Some of the wall paper was peeling but other than that the room was in good condition. The gym was spacious and the pool and hot tub were functional. Both great spaces. The highlight of our stay was the staff. From the doormen, to the front desk staff, to housekeeping. All were professional and courteous. You certainly felt welcomed by staff and any requests were promptly attended to. A shout out to Laura at the front desk. She was awesome! This is an expensive hotel it if you are looking for a premium stay this is your place. Convenient to everything and steps away from the beautiful river bank walkways. No better way to take in a concert on the grounds especially when the weather is not great, than from a river view room. Ask for room 430 or 429.

Booked a garden view room and the view was excellent. The staff were accommodating and I enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Location was perfect for walking along the paths by the river. Construction was a bit of a nuisance.

The air conditioning was very noisy. The taps in the bathroom sink did not turn on and off with ease. Hot water was very hot and hard to control. The vending machine was out of order. I would have liked a small convenience kiosk to purchase snacks.

We had a great stay in conjunction with a concert happening in their gardens.

The hotel is old and it shows. Paint and wallpaper peeling in our room. Very dusty in corners of dresser. Water leak marks and spots on ceiling in bathroom. It was not the 4/5 star experience we were expecting

The Bess is always a wonderful place to stay. They treat you like royalty.

Very disappointing stay. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, but there was an extremely loud EDM street party. It was too loud to even talk or watch tv. This party was still going on well past 11pm. What a waste of what could have been a wonderful stay.

Excellent Service in a Beautiful, Historic Setting The Delta Bessborough is such an iconic hotel—full of charm and history, with a beautiful location right on the river. We’ve always loved the atmosphere and the castle-like architecture. While the rooms are spacious, they could definitely use some updates. The carpet feels dated, and the bathrooms are quite small with limited space for toiletries or cosmetics,no cabinets or counter space, which can be a bit inconvenient during longer stays. That said, what truly sets this hotel apart is the outstanding service. From check-in to dining and everything in between, the staff is exceptional, professional, warm, and always helpful. The restaurant options are great, and the location in downtown Saskatoon is perfect for walking to shops, trails, and the river. Even with a few areas for improvement, we always enjoy our stay here and appreciate the unique experience the Bessborough offers.

Appreciate the clean place to sleep

Too expensive for the age of hotel and furniture in the rooms were out dated and old. Noisy streets at night probably because of the local bar.
