We enjoyed our stay right from our arrival. We received a warm welcome from Lenny and welcome drinks in our room. The service was impeccable throughout, Lenny was very attentive and helpful. Our room was amazing with beautiful decor and the views from the pool area were stunning looking out onto Gordon's Bay beach, the town, wine hills and mountains. Breakfast was delicious, in particular the homemade muesli with yogurt and fresh fruit. The chef was kind enough to give us the recipe to make it ourselves at home. We would highly recommend staying at Kianga. We spent a wonderful few days relaxing here.

Außergewöhnlich freundlicher und sehr hilfsbereiter Host. Das liebevoll zusammengestellte Frühstück in toller Qualität war der beste Start in den Tag, den man haben kann. Die Unterkunft liegt am Berg und der Blick über die Bucht ist herrlich.

Eigentlich alles. Erhöhte Lage mit toller Aus- und Fernsicht (inkl. Peninsula). Sehr bequemes Bett. Vielfältiges Frühstücksangebot. Fehlt an nichts und wenn doch, würde sich der Gastgeber sicherlich umgehend dafür einsetzen, um auch diesen Wunsch zu erfüllen...

"nicht gefallen" ist der falsche Ausdruck. Als neutraler Hinweis kann viell. angemerkt werden, dass es zwar in der Küche eine bzw. sogar zwei Nespressomaschinen hat, leider aber nicht direkt im Zimmer (wer den ersten Kaffee im/am Bett mag, müsste sich also husch was überziehen...). Letztlich ist aber alles vorhanden und auch Kaffeekapseln waren stets bereitgestellt. Parking: Lediglich zwei, aber sehr grosszügige, eingezäunte Parkplätze; etwas steile Ausfahrt.

Location , decor, services , facilities and great room sizes makes this a great house to stay at. We thank Lenny for the highest level of service we have ever been offered and received, very professional in every way. We were treated more like friends than guests, Lenny has great interpersonal skills, helpful with knowledge of the area and always there to help. Our thanks to Lenny and the staff for their help and support.

Eigentlich reicht es hier "Housekeeper" Lenny zu erwähnen - Top Local, mit dem man gut und gerne den Abend in Gesellschaft verbringen kann. Unfassbar schön eingerichtetes Haus mit einer sehr großen Terrasse, auf der morgens das a la Cart Frühstück serviert wird. Nochmals Danke für alles! :)

Ein rundum gelungener 3-tägiger Aufenthalt in einer sehr sauberen, gepflegten und modernen Unterkunft. Das Zimmer war großzügig geschnitten, angenehm ruhig und bot genügend Platz, um sich richtig wohlzufühlen. Der Pool ist super zum Entspannen. Das Frühstück wird mit viel Liebe zubereitet, ist abwechslungsreich und schmeckt einfach hervorragend Besonders hervorzuheben ist Lenny als Gastgeber: äußerst gastfreundlich, stets ansprechbar und immer hilfsbereit. Selten so einen freundlichen Gastgeber getroffen. Diese Unterkunft ist ohne Einschränkung zu empfehlen. Danke an Lenny und das gesamte Team :-)

Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön, modern, stylisch und bietet sehr geräumige Zimmer. Der große Balkon ist ein herrlicher Ort zum Frühstücken und bietet eine tolle Aussicht auf die False Bay. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und es gibt drei verschiedene Kopfkissen zur Auswahl, so dass jeder ein perfektes Kissen für sich findet. Der Poolbereich ist auch schön gestaltet und auf den bequemen Liegen kann man perfekt entspannen. Das Kianga Team ist sehr freundlich und geht auf die Wünsche der Gäste ein. Die Betreuung durch Lenny ist außergewöhnlich gut, super individuell und sympathisch. Lenny organisiert zum Beispiel eine sehr schöne Tour zu verschiedenen Weingütern und geht sehr aufmerksam auf die Wünsche und Bedürfnisse der Gäste ein. Kianga war ein echtes Highlight auf unserer Reise durch Südafrika. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Das Frühstück im Kianga war herausragend – abwechslungsreich, frisch und mit viel Liebe zum Detail präsentiert. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns die vielfältige Auswahl an qualitativ hochwertigen Produkten und die warme, freundliche Atmosphäre im Frühstücksbereich. Jeder Morgen mit einem kleinen Genussmoment. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Da ich in allen Kategorien die 10 vergeben habe ist dies wohl selbsterklärend. Leider gibt es kein höhere Bewertung denn diese hätte ohne Zweifel Lenny verdient. Wir sind schon sehr viel gereist und haben viele Gastgeber kennengelernt Lenny jedoch mit seiner so angenehmen und hilfsbereiten Art überbietet alle bei weitem. das Frühstück ist liebevoll zubereitet.

Sehr freundlicher und zuvorkommender Gastgeber, extrem leckeres Frühstück, tolle Empfehlungen für die Gegend, Zimmer auch alles super. Am Pool konnte man auch mit schönem Blick liegen. Danke an Lenny für all seine Hilfe, u.a. auch dabei, meine Freundin mit Blumen zu überraschen.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kianga. Lenny was super helpful with any questions and also had many good recommendations of things to do and visit. The breakfast is also wonderful. We will be back. Room was very clean and spacious.

Our stay at Kianga was amazing!!! Lenny was a super host 😊. Breakfast every was morning was fresh and yummy, the entire hotel was clean, and Lenny is extremely accommodating to meet your needs. We will definitely be returning!!!!

The staff were so welcoming from arrival to end. The BNB gives you a very homey feeling and it’s very comfortable. The staff put a-lot of effort into making the guests stay enjoyable. The breakfasts were delicious and the homemade Musli was delicious. I would recommend staying here.

I have travelled a lot and stayed in many places but there has never been a host as good, as attentive and intentional as Lenny. Besides the property being amazing he goes above and beyond to make your stay memorable and comfortable. Me and my wife can’t thank you enough Lenny, you are a remarkable human.

Lenny has been the single best host i have encountered on my travels. Big kudos to him and the kianga team. The breakfast was outstanding, the rooms were large and private, and the views were world class.

We booked 2 nights here, to recover from our long flight. We received a very friendly welcome and were given a tour of the beautiful hotel. We had a deluxe room and it was very nice spacious and clean. Breakfast was fantastic a la carte with plenty of choice. We had a lovely quiet day by the pool here, you can ask for anything nothing is too much. Highly recommended!

Absolutely fantastic location with a beautiful view and new, modern rooms with high comfort. Excellent hospitality and service with great attention to detail. Delicious made-to-order breakfast. Generally just a wonderful experience. You do however need a car to get around if you want to explore, as it doesn’t have much to do in walking distance. Will highly recommend as a nice chill out with a beautiful view and a base to explore sights and cities in the area.

Breakfast served à la carte with several individual choices of eggs, bread, ..... secure area with an amazing view over the bay. Lenny gave us a very warm welcome and he and Lena were extremely friendly and it was always nice to have a talk with them. Herzlicher, hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Grosses Penthouse mit guter Ausstattung (voll ausgestattete Küche und Waschmaschine/Tumbler). Duschen: Wasserdruck niedrig (für Langhaarwäsche mühsam). Gutes Frühstück (leider wie so oft in B&Bs erst ab 8 Uhr, was eher spät ist). Tolle Aussicht von der riesigen Terrasse über die False Bay und Gordon's Bay. Load Shedding: Hat bei drei Übernachtungen 2x das Frühstück tangiert (nicht das volle Angebot erhalten). Für den Preis erwarte ich, dass ich nicht abends im Kerzenschein Zähne putzen muss oder morgens den Föhn nicht benutzen kann. Deshalb nur 4 von 5 Sternen.

Loved everything! Comfy huge bed, gorgeous views and delicious breakfast. Kianga is a beautiful house and the facilities are pure luxury. Lenny the house manager is amazing and super helpful. We really loved our last 2 nights in CT here and will be back!

The location is impecable. We liked the very tasteful, stylish and modern design of the building and in particular the interior design. The common facilities (pool area, little bar next to the pool, library, ...) are perfect and well thought of. Breakfast is great and breakfast time until noon ist exceptional and wonderful. The best of the loction however is host Lenny who is amazingly friendly, helpful and always approachable. He is just wonderful!

We didn't always follow the good advice of our host with regards to places to have dinner, and had some bad experiences (not the fault of the host :-)

Perfect location for driving to Hermanus, Stellenbosch,Franschoek - all within an hour. Kianga is modern and stylish. Lenny was very attentive and helpful. With recommendations and very, very good eggs Benedict! Thank you.

Host was so helpful, beautiful views

This was our second time at Kianga, and we were just as happy this time as we were 3 years ago. The manager Lennie is outstanding in his service. The breakfast is top quality and made just to your liking. This place feels like a private home (only 5 rooms), very intimate feeling. The view from the place is fantastic too. Some really good restaurants close by, but you will need a car for this place. We will for sure come back - thank you Lennie.

What an amazing stay! Lennie was awesome, he catered to our every need, what a luxury experience. He even gave us the granola recipe that he used for making granola for our breakfast. Also the croissants he baked the first morning for us were better than any of the ones we tried all over the world and even in Paris! We couldn’t get enough of the view as well, every night we would spend just sitting and watching the city from above, and the bay. Some days we just chilled by the pool and watched the mountains and the beach. Lenny also offered us drinks from the bar, even though we didn’t take him up on it. We will definitely recommend this place to all our friends and family!

Lovely place and the service was amazing

If you want to relax and enjoy each other’s company in a beautiful setting this is the place. This 5 bedroom and 1 penthouse boutique hotel is absolutely in top quality on all level. Service was excellent, the breakfast was probably one of the best we ever had and the view from the small dining room was terrific too. You will need a car to get here, but if we didn’t need to eat lunch or dinner we would not have left the place at all. We love this place and we will come back ❤️

The best luxury B&B we’ve stayed at in South Africa, if not in the whole world. Wonderful breakfasts served overlooking the ocean, a sunset you could kill for from your room or from the terrace. Incredibly friendly staff. Contemporary design and relaxing atmosphere. Simply the best.

Easily our best experience during our weeks in South Africa. Nothing beats the sunsets from the terrace of this wonderful boutique hotel/b&b. It’s very contemporary and thought thru in very slightest detail. The breakfasts make you never want to leave and are very stylish indeed. The staff go out of their way to make you feel at home, they take personal interest in every guest and I frankly don’t understand how they make it. Only minus: add bath salt in the rooms!! We’ll be back!
