朝食の鮭とご飯がとても美味しかったです

The room was lovely and modern and the location was excellent for exploring Nozowa, including being right across from a nice Onsen. The communal area with fire was also nice.

The cafe and bar were unfortunately not open the whole time of our stay.

Stylish, super comfortable and relaxing in a fantastic central location in town. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Very cool attitude and vibe - as in good, not pretentious.

Honestly, we loved the place.

野沢温泉灯籠祭りで訪問しました～

Super clean and friendly staff. Provides everything you need to enjoy the hot springs outside (from Yukata to toiletries… just one more thing, a pair of slipper for rental would have been AMAZING), from which I was able to tell they genuinely try their best to help their guests have the best Nozawa experience possible.

Nothing, it was one of the best stays I’ve ever had in the world :)

周りのロケーションが少し残念…道幅が狭いのと坂道がたくさんあって車椅子での利用が難しい事。駐車場が遠かった。

Everything! Amazing ,stylish , comfortable premises in a good location close to the onsens ans restaurants. The room was spotless, very comfortable and spacious. The Tanuki cafe ( connected to the hotel) had super delicious breakfast and coffee. We originaly booked it for one night but then decided to stay another night. If you are ever in Nozawa please go and stay in this hotel. You wont regret it.

部屋が3階でしたが階段しかなかったので荷物を持って階段を登るのが高齢の母にはかわいそうだった。 シャワールームが水漏れしやすく使いずらかった。トイレ側まで水が簡単に行ってしまうためバスマットもびしょびしょになってしまった。

野沢温泉のど真ん中という場所で、他の施設へのアクセスも良かったです（大湯、足風呂、食事処、温泉まんじゅう）。部屋は広くて天井も高く清潔でした。ベッドは腰痛持ちの私でも寝心地良かったです。

夜中、何かのファンの音が鳴ったり鳴らなかったりを繰り返していて、少しうるさかったです。でも、ベッドが快適だったのですぐ眠れました。

Alles war super! Die Angestellten waren sehr nett und bemüht und das Zimmer war sehr sauber und sehr schön.

The location, the staff and the premises

初めて行ってご飯屋さんがあるのかやってるのか不安なことがたくさんだったけど、店員さんが親切でとても丁寧に伝えてくれた

It's a very small onsen/ski town, and so many other lodges share this same characteristic, but the lodge is in close proximity to a few public baths, and restaurants. The cafe restaurant attached to the hotel offered good food. The Superior Apartment was massive with is own laundry machine and dryer, kitchen, full size fridge, dining area, living area, and two bathrooms with a toilet and a standing shower. They provide laundry detergent. The bed in the master bedroom was comfortable. There was free parking about 500 meters away.

We paid about $300 USD per night for early August 2026. For a family of five, I think that's not the best value. The hotel doesn't have its own onsen. Guests are recommended to walk to any of the public baths (all of which are free). In doing so, the hotel provides a small basket with bottles of body wash and shampoo. They didn't have enough of these baskets (looks like maybe 6 max?), and on our second night, we went to the onsen without them. The attached teppanyaki restaurant was closed. Many other restaurants in town were closed. Most open businesses nearby closed early. The convenience store nearby closed at 9 PM. Apparently August is off season for Nozawa. The bedroom with bunk beds didn't have an AC unit in it. I think the only AC was in the master bedroom. There are stairs, and there are no elevators. Second floor is the front desk, and our room was on the fourth floor. This is not at all a hotel for those with mobility issues or large amounts of luggage.

家族が多いため、部屋の空間の広さが気になっていたが2段ベッドやダブルベッドもあり、子どもたちも自分の好みの場所を選ぶことができとても喜んでいた。 無料で、洗濯機を使用できるのも良かったです。 アメニティーも揃っていて良かったです。

小さめの冷蔵庫は部屋にあるが、季節的に暑いので冷凍庫付き冷蔵庫があれば良かったのになと思った。冷たい飲み物が欲しい時に、製氷器があると嬉しかった。シャワーとトイレの手洗い場の水の出が悪くて、使用しづらい。

大変清潔感があり、スタッフさんもとても親切でした。 温泉もいろんなところが利用でき、満足感がありました。 子供もとても喜んでおり、またぜひ利用させていただきたいお宿でした！

備え付け駐車場がなかったため、事前に確認は必要です。 部屋の中にオオゲジゲジがいたので、虫のチェックはした方がいいかと思います。

Unfortunately the cafe was closed on the days that we stayed but for the first morning the hotel provided granola which was delicious! The cafe looked great though

It would have been great if two mornings of granola was supplied because there were limited other option in town that were open. But this is just a very minor inconvenience.

The location is on the doorstop of great restaurant and shops and onsens. The staff were incredibly helpful. Our room was very well equipped and spotlessly clean.

The cafe was closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. Best coffee in town, and I had to miss out on those days

The location was perfect with onsens within 5-10 minutes in every direction, amazing restaurants, and mountains hugging in the small village. The staff was especially welcoming and we stayed longer than expected, a week!

The Apartment was nice with big bathroom and separate bedroom. Comfy lounge area. Location very good short walk to Bus stop and cafes and Thermal area. Surrounded by Onsens.

In Summer 80% of places were closed. Our place advertised a Bar, a Bakery , a Souvenir shop and a Cafe opened for breakfast until dinner. The Cafe was only open until 1500 and close two days we were there . Every thing else was closed permanently . The kitchen was a sink and one element was not a kitchen to cook in.

とても綺麗でした。 温泉街の真ん中に位置していて、周囲を回りやすかったです。

分かっていた事ではあったけど、駐車場があればさらによかったです。

到着が夜遅くなりホテルの場所が分からず連絡したら、スタッフの方が迎えに来てくれました。下の娘が怖くて泣きじゃくってたので、本当に助かりました。

ロケーション最高 朝食　選択制でどのメニューも美味しかった。ドリンクを頼んでも加算なし。 お部屋も広く、快適 傘のレンタルもあり、良かった。

お部屋に浴衣があるか、レンタルがあると良かった。

オシャレで清潔。接客も親切で丁寧。 朝食場所も店舗なのでオシャレで綺麗。朝食は選べて美味しい。

Extremely noisy at night. The building has a bar downstairs (and is surrounded by other bars/restauranra) so drunk tourists were yelling outside our window until very late at night. There is no sound proofing

外国の方の利用者対応がメーンのためか、 朝食の仕組みなど日本人には少しわかりにくいかもしれませんが、良くなかった点は一切無いです

I was really impressed with the size of the property and the small creature comforts like the pellet fireplace, board games, parachute coffee, and fully equipped kitchen.

I can’t fault the property.

Esthétique de la chambre, accueil, petites attentions, c’etait très agréable. Très bons choix de petits déjeuners divers. Raffiné et branché !

御盆休み中で、朝食を頂く事か出来なかった。 駐車場が遠く、建物内の階段が多く、重い荷物は大変。 洗濯機が最新のようだが、使い勝手が難しい。

夜ご飯付きのプランがあったら試したかったです。 雨だったので、部屋のテラスに出られなくて残念でした。 近所のお風呂のお湯が熱すぎてゆっくり浸かっていられなかったので残念でした。

最新設備の揃ったコンドミニアムで、家族でゆっくりできました。温泉街の中心にあるので、外湯めぐりも楽しめました。

Breakfast was great. Staff were lovely and showed us all the popular locations such as onsens and the ski slopes we could use. Rooms were very clean and modern with all amenities you could need.

The pillows on the beds were not very good and led to a couple of sore necks.

到着が遅くなるのを心配していたんですが、宿の方が親切に対応していただいて助かりました。 お部屋はこの料金でここに泊まっていいの？って思うほどのおしゃれで清潔、とても快適でずっとここにいたいな〜と思うお部屋でした。 宿の方もレストランの方もショップの方もみんな親切で ニコニコと対応してくださる、本当にいいところです。 野沢温泉も大好きになったので、次は雪の季節に来たいな〜と計画中です。

大浴場がない。フロントの人が経験が浅く、対応が浅かった。　駐車場の場所には看板がなくわかり辛かった。 アメニティの置き場所や種類、部屋着が部屋に用意されてないなど後でこちらから聞くことが多かった。

お部屋や廊下も綺麗で、スタッフの方も丁寧で気持ちよかったです。温泉街の中央にあるので商店や温泉へのアクセスもしやすく、賑やかでいいところでした。

浴衣の貸し出しをチェックインの際に聞いて頂けていたら、裸で寝ることはなかったかもしれません…

We had a pleasant stay at the Tanuki Nozawa hotel which is very new and modern - beautifully done. The breakfast that is served in the cafe downstairs was really good!

We asked for the room to be cleaned, but the beds were not made - not really an issue, just a bit odd. The room had a bunk bed, but the railing gap on the top bunk was very wide so we were not comfortable with using it, so both our children shared one bed instead (just worth noting if travelling with small children). As with many hotels in Japan - its shoes off before entering the room, but there was very little space to take shoes off (and store them) before entering, especially with luggage when arriving - was just a bit tricky as a family of four (again, not really an issue just would've been nice to have more space).

Very nice hotel, right in the centre of Nozawa Onsen, with access from the main square. The facilities of our block were very new, everything was clean and the staff was very nice. We highly recommend it.

Location was central to all we needed in town. All facilities were first rate. Breakfast was delicious and generous

Super comfortable room, the best layout I’ve experienced in any hotel. Everything is very clean and high quality, great design. The location could not be any better, in the heart of the village.

The only negative was that the restaurant was closed gor the most of our stay, just like many other restaurants and bars in the village, given that it was off season. You really have to investigate what is open on which day.
