Travelodge by Wyndham Timmins

stayed overnight on friday june 19,left saturday june 20 in am, and upon arriving we noticed are room the door wouldn’t open properly, or close(had to slam the door), the hallways and room smelt musty and like cigarette smoke. when i took my shoes and was walking around the room the carpet was wet feeling really bad could even feel it through our socks, the bathtub had like cigarette burn type indents on it, and was old looking and i don’t know it the gym or something was directly above our room but from at least 11:30am-at least 5-6am I heard a lot of footsteps-banging-and stuff dropping on floor, if it was the gym it should be closed from 9:30pm/10PM at night so people can sleep, so our whole night was ruined and couldn’t sleep, a lot of noise etc the breakfast area was decent a lot of grab and go options and things to eat from frozen in microwave or toaster. Will not be staying again did not enjoy my stay at all.

Could not figure out the tv, and I am in IT, called the front break multiple times, no answer... texted twice... no answer... then received a call at 10-1030 and woke us up.

The morning staff was very pleasant. the evening staff was very cold.

Breakfast was very subpar. I was not told during check-in that there would be multiple kids teams staying that night. Noise was a problem

It was very busy the night we stayed, therefore very noisy. Seemed to be there was little to no hot water in the morning for even washing hands in the sink.

The female front desk staff member was very welcoming when we arrived. The hotel did quiet down after 11.

The hallway towards our room was full of garbage, many rooms were open where we could see long term renters sitting in a hoarding situation. There were children playing in the hall which was a complete mess. We had to step over and around it. There were sketchy guys with hooded jackets who kept their heads down when we passed them which made me feel uncomfortable. Our door had a fairly large gap all the way around it so the light from the hallway seeped in and the lock didn’t feel secure. We listened to yelling and arguing till 11.

We had bed bugs in our room so we had to switch rooms.

Je remercie énormément le personnel que j'ai rencontré qui a vraiment été très agréable avec moi. A mon arrivée, le personnel d'accueil m'a aidé avec mes affaires. Le lendemain, lorsque j'ai eu un problème pour faire fonctionner la douche, le personnel d'accueil a tout fait pour me trouver une solution.

J'ai eu un léger problème avec la douche qui a fini par se régler.

It was clean and comfortable

The carpets and the room was clean and the bed was ok. A bit noisy, but we understood there was teams of teenagers tournament all weekends. But overhaul was a nice stay.

The beds were ok. The staff were pleasant and the towels were nice. Appreciated the fresh apples in the lobby too!

The room temperate was 60 and it was minus 18 outside. We couldn’t get the room warm all night. There were summer sheets on the bed. Two very small and aged pillows. No warm blankets for this time of year. We could see into the hall from the edge all around the door. The door was too small for the frame! Not pleased at all for the price of the room.

The bathroom was dirty the garbage was still full from the previous stay stained towels and bed sheets

Room is out of date and has partial carpeting. Can smell the carpet when you get into the room. Wasnt happy with the downpayment amount that was required upon check in. Too expensive for what was given.

Very serviceable for a single number that stay passing through. Not great for a shortterm stay as dated and no elevator. A place to rest your head while passing through.

Staff was not willing to help, and rude. Room smelt like dirty feet and was very damp

The room smelled, like musty. Which then means its not cleaned properly. They sheets on the bed were not on properly. The door barely opens and closes right. It just feels very run down and old. The beds are hard.

the hotel isn’t near anything, but there isn’t much in Timmins to start.

The front desk staff was lovely!

The bedding had stains and it was old, the room poorly lighted, the light temperature of the nights stands are different, there is a food smells in the hall all the time, the bathroom curtain is old and used for too long. Overall, the the hotel is overpriced.

Convenient location, good price, bathroom needs new fixtures

The roof is completely finished. Almost every hallway room door is scuffed or marked or painted over hardware. The white wash paint job looks cheap. You can still see the previous colour. The floor in the washroom has scum in the corners...been awhile since someone deep cleaned. Very outdated and worn out place. Not worth what you charge.

Everything was good from arrival to departure. Desk staff (Mathieu) was supper helpfull. Clean room and functional. Convient Eastside Mario's next door and very good food there.

Good place to stay while on business.

The room had been redone recently ans was spacious. The breakfast was a little bit weak. No mil for the cereal and even no cereal the one morning

I like the place but breakfast was finished by 9:20 when I came down.

This sure was a hotel. Towels were unfortunately stained. It works as a safe and fairly clean place to sleep, but don't expect too much out of it.

Hotel was good choice for stop over, but best bet is skip breakfast as they do not keep it stocked well.

Run down somewhat, shown in the price. Need to quit spraying air freshener in the rooms or whatever causes that chemical odor. Folks were friendly and bed was good for me. Thanks

Easy to get to, close to restaurants and shopping. Convenient parking. Quiet. Great staff at front desk.

Property was fantastic

Les passages était sale. Pour déjeuner personne ne lave les tables et comptoir donc très sale. Manquait café, beurre et plusieurs choses donc nous devions a chaque fois aller voir le personnel . Pour avoir demeurer souvent dans des motels normalement un employé passe régulièrement afin de s'assurer que tout soit propre et qu'il manque de rien. Très déçu. Cest la première et dernière fois que je loge dans cette établissement.

The hotel was reasonably priced, convenient and clean. The room, which was a non-smoking room, reeked of smoke. It was really strong.

Clean & friendly staff

The room has to be updated as paint in washroom and living area needs to be redone. Baseboards are old and broken. Cleanliness of room is not optimal. Let’s just say , I needed a place to sleep and that is all. If you are slightly difficult, I don’t at all recommend.

Rooms are dated and falling apart. Needs updating Front Desk staff in the morning at checkout very unfriendly and absolutely not helping. I ask to have a receipt printed and he refused. Won't stay there again
