Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham - Timmins

Place was clean. Staff were pleasant

Pool and hot tub not available since May 2026

Location

Price for quality

Place was clean and lots of parking

The pool and hot tub still not working it has been closed for months

Breakfast was okay but eggs were cool instead of hot

Rooms were very small for 2 people and for the price paid

Propre et service courtois

fausse publicité, piscine et spa hors d'usage et aucunement mentionné nul part . Très fâchant quand c'est la raison principale du voyage

clean and nice

the only reason why i booked this hotel was for the pool and hot tub but it was closed. didn’t mention nothing about the pool being in renovations.

Our air conditioner was not working in our room and all we got from front desk was “sorry about that”. It was 80 degrees in our room. It was brutal.

Very little to be honest. I have stayed here several times before but the price was astronomical this visit especially while they are doing renovations. Over $400 a night. I dont really have very much goo to say about this trip.

Too expenisve especially while under renovation and not told about renovations before getting there. The drain in the bathroom smelled bad, the heating system was blowing cold air so I had to turn it off and the fridge was very loud and had to unplug this. Between 12-2am a loader was brushing the car park behind and was beeping very loudly right outside my window every time it went into reverse. Pool and hot tub not available which renovations were going on. at 7.30 in the morning after a very bad and short sleep I heard drills going which was also very loud. I stay in microtels often and not sure I will be back to this one again

Location

Pool was not working and dis not find out until we got there. No noise insulation could hear door slamming, footsteps toilet flushing all night long

Upon check in the Front desk clerk was amazing, very friendly

The carpet was not vacuumed. Which made it hard to take off your shoes in the room. I did ask when they clean it the next day to vacuum and that is literally what they did. Just vacuum. We were excited for the pool to find out they put all the new furniture all over the hallways and pool area not allowing us to us the pool. There also was issues with the heat in the room. The thermostat was set at 24 and it was still super cold in the room. There was a headboard in the hallway which was very dangerous and my daughter almost hit her in it.

Parking for handicap were not available because snow removal, had filled both spots with mountains of snow. Pool room was full of furniture for renovations.

I was placed in the very first room beside the lobby where all the hockey players/teams and their drunk parents all hung out. It was a terrible stay

The steam room and hot tub were not working

Good location very new rooms were clean

Nothing

Signage was very difficult to see, as was the access road. Room telephone did not work, coffee and breakfast was the worst we’ve ever experienced . There were kids playing hockey in the hallways until midnight both nights. Staff either did not attempt to resolve the problem or did not put enough effort into it.

Everyone friendly, very clean and close to restaurants.

Every thing was as expected!

Nothing really

These rooms are beautiful! Very comfy!

Nice hotel. Comfortable stay.

Front desk staff at check-in was friendly and helpful. Some other front desk staff I seen, seemed as though they were there to fill a chair, not too friendly and didn't seem to acknowledge you as you passed by. The room we had was very small. The bed was soft, fairly comfortable for me but my wife thought it was too soft. The cleaning staff did the bare minimum, there was dust on the floor when we arrived and it was still there when we left 3 days later. The second day the cleaner took our face cloth and never replaced it before we left. The room was really dark at night, so much so that we left the bathroom light on all night, with the door opened just a bit, so we could have a little light to see where we were going if we got up during the night. Would be a good idea to put night lights by the bathroom for that purpose, be cheaper on electricity that way. The breakfast was good, warm selection every morning. The breakfast area was very clean and I seen the young lady cleaning regularly.

Spa vraiment trop chaud , température piscine génial, silencieux et personnel accueillant Oreiller non confo

The room was small but well laid out with everything you could need. The pillows were quite large and bulky. They really weren't comfortable, and prevented us from sleeping for the most part. The "party room" is in the same open area as the guest services desk immediately when you walk in the front door. At check-in time the party room was in use for a kids birthday party and it made it difficult to hear when checking in. The guest services guy checked us in without any problems but he didn't explain what he was doing with my credit card on a prepaid room, didn't say anything about WiFi, pool hours, dinner service or breakfast. Overall not a bad place to stay just don't expect welcoming or informative staff.

The bed was very comfortable and check in check out was simple and easy. Location right where I needed to be

Everything was perfect here definitely a 5plus :😀

Staff was very friendly, Room's were clean, Pool was perfect temperature, hot tub was nice and hot, sauna also was hot, breakfast was delicious with plenty of options, easy parking. Walmart is at the back of the motel so you can walk there if you wanted. We love staying there and will be staying there on our next trip our new found home away from home definitely a 5plus 😀
