Reviewed Sep 10, 2026Solicité habitación con vista al mar, excelente lugar , muy completa la serie de servicios bar, farmacia, tienda muy cerca, restaurantes, el centro de Mazatlán realmente queda a solo unas cuadras. El personal atento y la limpieza bien.
Yo creo que solo mejorar el mantenimiento al aire acondicionador, quise modificar la temperatura pero me lo permitió, supongo ya estaba seteado pero si me tocó a 26-27 grados, no pude bajarlo un poco más. Aunque era más cálido que afuera aún quería un poco más de frescura. Solo eso.

Reviewed Jul 15, 2026Ubicación muy buena frente al mar. cuenta con piscina, y restaurante, aunque hacen solo snack como hamburguesas y botanas esta muy rica la comida, el aire acondicionado en las habitaciones genial, por fuera del hotel hay comercios y tienes a la mano varias cosas.
deberian actualizar el letrero de la piscina respecto al horario y que el restaurante te pueda servir alimentos cerca de la piscina.

Reviewed Mar 8, 2026The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was in the old town area. The main area was very nice with a patio in the middle to sit, eat and have drinks. The bartender was very charming and spoke very good English. The room had a balcony so we were able to sit and watch the sunset at night.
Not their fault and I should have expected it to be quite noisy since it was near the ocean and the Malecon. We wished the beds were more comfortable as my husband has a bad back so he had trouble sleeping.

Habitacion huele mucho a humedad, te insisten revises cantidad las cosas en tu habitacion porque si falta algo al final revisaran y te las cobraran porque envian a alguien a revisar si no robaste, ( que duden de ti intimida e incomoda, no se que tipo de huespedes manejen pero a las personas honradas nos molesta que duden de tu honor) que cuides tu tarjeta llave por si se desprograma. ( es decir note que les molesta reprogramarla) por ultimo la ventana del baño se cayo por falta de mantenimiento y oxido. Yo no volveria a hospedarme aqui, hacen que te sientas incomodo.

The room was comfortable and roomy. The location cannot be beat if you are interested in proximity to the old town, lots of restaurants and a lovely sandy beach.

Reviewed Oct 5, 2025This is a great place to stay in Mazatlan. It is close to everything. It is right on the beach. I loved just sitting on the balcony watching the waves. The hotel is old and is showing signs of wear. The cable TV system kept freezing making it impossible to watch. The place is basic, but it is well cared for. Absolutely bring ear plugs. It is not the hotel's fault that locals like to BLAST music when they drive and could care less if others are sleeping. It is a nice place and simply the best location.

Winter is great time to visit, however sea water is a bit cooler. Bed was great, if you like a firm mattress, internet, ok, not great! Access relatively easy to many parts of the city. Great experience at Hotel Siesta!

the only thing is the i think the i said is they can improve a lot of little details to look better like new water faucets , more promotion in the bar and in the restaurant for the visitors, happy hour or something like that to get m ore business and income for the owner and employees . also replace or renew the torta place downstairs.

Accept that Mexico has music blasting vehicles at all hours of the night. Bring earplugs and have a great experience.

Reviewed Jan 14, 2025No safe! Great breakfast! Very nice workers! Can be noisy at night on the Plaza, and after parties until late. Pack earplugs if you’re disturbed by partiers. We were their over New Years so partying is expected! Room was nice, toilet paper very soft & no fragrance!!! No window opening to outside, If you open up windows to hallway people can look in 😜. Patio on roof needs cushions on chairs. More people might hang out then. Nice unused space! Rooms are small, no dressers to put clothes in! Hard to unpack. There is a desk for computer or whatever. Very clean. Hotel has a unique atmosphere with the decorating! Nice restaurant on the plaza!
