We are in New Zealand and actually have doors on our bathrooms , not little 1/2 curtains , as privacy is needed . Ask for a room with a actual door to the bathroom and was told it would cost $90.00 more !!

A lovely friendly and cheerful welcome when I walked in the door Very efficient and my car storage was pre-organised for while I'm away. My room was clean and tidy, there was a small issue with the key lock (I'm sorry Oakwood I forgot to tell you about it) I'm sure they will resolve now they know. My shuttle to the airport was filled with cheerful conversation, thank you again for a pleasant experience, I have recommended you many times and will keep coming back.

This hotel is an excellent stopover if arriving from overseas on a late flight. They have their own shuttle and we were picked up by the caring driver who really helped us when we got lost finding the pick-up area. So very helpful after a long flight and a cold Auckland evening. Very good value for money. Recommended.

The rooms are old and rundown. The early morning shift worker was rude, and airport shuttle was under managed.

No breakfast

Access. It was hard to drag our suitcases up the steps . We are over 70yrs old. There's no light outside to light our way, dragging our suitcases outside to our room, which may have made access easier.

Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Prompt shuttle to the airport at 4am

Location is short drive to the airport, and offer free shuttle service to airport and short term parking. Which is why we stayed here, I have actually stayed here once before, which is why I booked again. However this time it was a completely diff experience.

The room had no proper heating, the bathroom window couldn't close it was freezing in the room. The one bed the base/mattress or something was def wrong as when my child lay in it the whole thing basically caved in around her. Our room was by the "short term parking" so we had people arriving and leaving at all hours, making such a noise right by our unit it was impossible to get any sleep.

Really close to airport and can leave our car there while we are away is really good. Airport transfer is good as well.

A better couches that’s hard ass breaking the showers need to be cleaned properly mould the tv was a waste of Time and the parking is so bad

Some extra attention to detail with cleaning is needed - place was clean but little things like hair in the bathroom on the floor and around the bottom of the toilet were missed.

Master bed was crap could feel the springs through the matress, whole building creeks loud as heck and the walls are paper thin my whole family was woken multiple times during the night to a snoring guest and a screaming baby from the adjacent room. Lightning in the unit was crap. No lights near the dining table so ate dinner in the dark, zero privacy if the curtains are open there were no netting curtains to allow daylight and privacy. Would definitely not recommend staying here and I sure never will stay again

Parking! First in first serve, if you move you lose. It should be numbered, especially if the parking spot is right outside your door.

Location and proximity to Auckland airport was fantastic, as was its proximity to rental car drop offs.

Quality of door's and lack of sealing/fit around room door meant that constant light, noise and cold air came through gaps. This was not a relaxing place to stay before embarking on a full day of air travel.

Great location to airport. Excellent free shuttle to and from airport. Left our car there for 6 weeks at a great rate. Bed comfortable, ideal for what we needed at a good price.

Smell of ammonia obviously for cleaning as you walk in but soon got use to it.

The value was what we stayed for and was so easy to check in and out without fussing over a bond, Second time we have stayed and it is worth saving some coin to be able to do more for your money while visiting auckland. Great sized kitchenette our room had what we needed with a small fridge and even a table to sit and eat at.

The floors were super sticky but we just kept our socks on. There were damages here and there like a hole in the wall that had been slightly covered by the the bed, we were worried we would be blamed and charged.

It would be nice to be able to buy some refreshments. The bed is not very comfortable.

Toilet seat was broken and swung off... staff were pleasant and fixed on request but was still wobbly. Bathroom smelt of urine and had brown Driple downs walls in toilet.

Dog friendly, my fur babies were safe comfortable and close by so I didn't have to deal with woo woo huskies.

Good value for money and location. How ever the shuttle bus driver was not friendly or helpful. Very dissatisfied with his lack of customer service. Wouldn't help with putting our luggage into the rear boot, wasn't friendly nor engaged in any conversation. Very abrupt.

Clean rooms, well set out. Would have preferred a little more info before booking. Would have like a room with its own entry/exit. Next time I'll do more research
