Airport Gold Star Motel

Friendly staff

Location, newly decorated, pleasant and roomy

Nothing

Clean tidy

Parking was a bit tight

Close to airport. Shuttle service - excellent. Room was clean and tidy, bathroom as well and bed comfortable. Highly recommended.

Unit was spotlessly clean. Free parking and airport shuttle was so great and definitely a decider when choosing where to stay.

We stayed in one of the older rooms, so the glass entrance door meant that I was woken up by car lights blazing into my room when guests arrived and were parking their vehicle in the early hours of the morning. Maybe move the Queen bed over to the other side wall and the single to that side as I’d say the larger bed is more frequently used. I noticed that the refurbished rooms have a solid door so this wouldn’t be an issue for those.

This is convenient to the airport and value for money.

This place is a real surprise! Nicely refurbished room and larger than most in this area. Great airport shuttle service (even very late at night) and lovely staff. Excellent blackout curtains help with a good nights sleep too.

Bit too much light shining thru a small window by the front door at night, but not a major issue. Nothing else to report here.

Location, clean, roomy. Complimentary Transport van to the airport, 4am, 5.30 and 7am, then as required.

The mattress needs upgrading

One of the cleanest motels have stayed in

Comfortability cleanliness

There was 1 night a young group of people were partying on the floor above us playing music loud past midnight.

Very Happy with all aspects of our accommodation. A

Muy cómodo y limpio

Nada

Good sleep Comfy bed Clean unit

The outside noise. But beyond the control of motel. It’s Auckland!!

Clean very comfortable bed staff on hand very friendly

There’s nothing to dislike about the whole stay here tho it was only for one night

Convenient services

Friendly service,value for money

Close to airport and free parking.

The hall beside the motel had a band that started early Sunday morning.

Great location to the airport with a clean and comfortable refurbished room.

The mattress could have been better

Loved the shuttle bus to and from the airport

TV remote needed batteries. Noisy room with loud traffic.

Location to airport

Nothing

Location was good to where we were working

Couldn't use the oven

We selected this motel as it was cheap, near the airport, had a shuttle and cheap parking while we were overseas for 2 weeks. Our unit was recently renovated, clean and comfortable.

There was traffic noise

3 of us stayed 1 night at each end of our holiday and left the car at the motel. Newly renovated rooms Clean and comfortable Very quick and easy pick up from the airport at 2am. Would highly recommend as a stress free stay

Close to busy road so a little traffic noise as expected.

close to airport

Handy to airport. Loved the free shuttle service, and ability to leave car in long term parking. Very clean room.

It was a good price, room was large, modern and clean. Staff was friendly

Depressing neighbourhood with no shops in walking distcance and very loud neighbours that played music at rock concert level all night and it wasn't even a weekend.

So close to airport. Recently refurbished rooms. Very nice and wellndone Good size rooms. Good price. I didn't use the airport shuttle but that option is there.

It is a little noisey with traffic but its just a transit place parking is tight

Staff were helpful. Shuttle to and from airport

Nothing

its near the airport. easy and fast to commute to airport. The shuttle is just efficient

Too many instruction with the kitchenette.

Nice clean rooms.

No electric blankets on the beds and a lot of street noise at night.

Super convenient to airport. Efficient shuttle. Lovely helpful owners making a great job of renovating the place. Highly recommend to out of towners flying out early from Auckland airport. As clean and tidy and secure as the more expensive options.

Cleanliness efficient staff

Comfortable and great shuttle service to airport.

Recently renovated room, very spacious and well laid out.

Lack of privacy with room on view to the public and in particular the trades who were working on the property. The room needs lace curtains to provide privacy plus allow natural light. Missing basics like tissues, face washers (flannels) and shower gel - 1 small cake of soap was provided. Also only one pillow per bed space provided, the norm is two.

Lovely and comfort facilities for the one night it accommodated to our needs

Parking was awkward

We were able to leave our car there for free while we went overseas, and they had a free shuttle to and from the airport.

Tan and the team went above and beyond to accommodate and facilitate our needs. We can't thank you enough.

Value for money, clean and tidy

Remote worked sporadically, batteries flat, small problems

Convenient for what we needed. Good info via app communications

Not much verbal communication

Ideal for our late arrival and early departure to the airport.

Very basic and needs updating.

Beds were comfy, room was spacious

Had to wait a bit till we received our bond.

Friendly staff and free pick-up to and from the airport

It was a bit cold but I didn't want to leave the heat pump on all night!

Heel fijn dat er een gratis shuttlebus naar het vliegveld was. Handig klein keukentje en fijne douche.

X

Bed spreads had stains on them, needed to get office staff in to change bedding. hot water was temperamental my child got burnt trying to have a shower it was either to hot or to cold. The car parks were tight as, and very limited. No curtains for day time privacy, unless you wanted to black you room out

친절한 직원들 깔끔한 숙소 저렴한 가격 공항 무료셔틀 장기 주차 가능 수영장 있는 정원

시설이 약간 오래되긴 했지만 잘 관리되어 있어 사용에 불편은 없음

Very friendly staff that went the extra mile to accommodate our requirements

Everything, nothing to complain about

Timely airport drop off and pickup.

Distance to fine suitable restaurant

Great location for early morning flights, great pickup and drop off service.

The host picked us up promptly from the airport. The room was clean and had a good TV. There is a little kitchenette, which was nice. We bought Take Aways near by and could warm them up etc. It was comfortable for the price and served our purposes as a layover before our regional flight the next day. The driver took up to the airport on time and was friendly and helpful.

I can't really complain too much about this motel. It was dated, but comfortable and clean. No difficulties for our one night stay, the process of checking in and out was seamless.

Close to the airport which what I wanted

Nothing really for a night stay

Easy and very good for around the airport. Transport from the airport to the hotel was good.

Nothing all good thank you.

I stayed at this motel for three separate nights, spread over about five weeks during a trip through New Zealand and the Cook Islands, and I had a very good experience each time. The shuttle service was excellent, reliable, and completely free, which was a huge plus. For a very reasonable price, you get spacious rooms, some of which have been freshly renovated. The rooms were surprisingly large and comfortable. Overall, this place is hard to beat for the price. If you're looking for a budget-friendly stay with huge, recently renovated rooms and a reliable, free shuttle service, I can definitely recommend it.

24 hr Reception Airport Shuttle Space in room 303 Well stocked with crockery and cutlery

Very old and dated

Great to be picked up from the airport by a lovely helpful staff member. The room I stayed in was huge - and had a queen, a single and a separate room with two singles, a small bathroom with a shower over bath, a large wardrobe with extra blankets, a working heatpump and a decent sized TV, a nice view of the garden and pool and a very functional kitchenette with stovetop and microwave.

There was no double glazing, and a lot of people driving past at night with sub-woofers (not the hotels fault) just important to be prepared with earplugs. The shower head was very low. I am sure if I had asked there was probably a hair drier I could have used, but none provided in the room.

Close to the airport friendly helpful staff. Love the drop off and pick up from airport.

De kamer is echt top. Heerlijke bedden en fijne douche!

Niet van toepassing

Great location, handy to the airport with awesome park n fly service after your stay with them.

Nice and clean, very comfortable

Shuttle service, close to airport, spacious, comfortable bed, very new and clean facilities.

No facecloths and temperamental TV - WIFI kept dropping out. Awful insufficient UHT capsules. A motel of this size, should provide 250 ml containers of milk.

Accessibility, ease of getting to the airport plus the ease of getting onto the motorway.

Clean tidy

Too close to the main road

very clean, i was upgraded to the refurbished area. wasvery comfortable

i would have liked a face flannel plus the shower could do with a soap holder in it.

Clean, comfortable and perfect location for overseas travel, and car parking whilst overseas. Easy transfer to airport arrangements.

The noise from a church/community centre next door. They were singing all night.

Comfortable, clean and convenient location to the airport.

nothing, everything was great!

Good free shuttle. The owners are refurbishing the whole motel, room by room, so there is no disturbance. So if you get a referbed room, everything is brand new, including the very comfy beds. Great for an airport stay and there is a good Indian take away just 500mts from the Motel. we highly recommend it.
