El Hotel tuvo una falla de seguridad informática y fuga o robo de información de huéspedes como yo, falla que no me fue informada a tiempo, el problema es que el día 16 de agosto que tomaría la habitación, durante la mañana se contacto conmigo por whatsapp un supuesto chatbot del Hotel Catedral que me dio todos los datos de mi reserva, datos como mi nombre completo, mi numero de celular, sabia que me quedaría 3 días desde el 16 al 19 de agosto y hasta sabia el monto de la estadía, este chatbot solicito un pago de garantía al que accedí porque supuestamente era del hotel ya que tenia todos mis datos, luego de pagar el chatbot quiso volver a cobrar el mismo monto de garantía aludiendo que no se había podido cargar la tarjeta, cosa que era falso porque pude comprobar que si había cargado la tarjeta, entonces corte la comunicación con el chatbot y llame al hotel donde la recepcionista me dijo literalmente que "Habían tenido una falla de seguridad y que habían datos de huéspedes que habían sido sustraídos". Al llegar al hotel y hacer mi check-in informe a la recepcionista de este problema para ver que solución podía haber al respecto ya que alguien se tiene que hacer responsable por dejar salir esta información sensible, me ofreció un up-grade que no acepte y solicite que el gerente se pusiera en contacto conmigo, pasaron los 3 días y ni el gerente ni ningún otro empleado del hotel me contacto para conversar sobre el problema. La conclusión que saco es que esta perdida de información se tradujo en una estafa que no se a quien pudo beneficiar, talvez al mismo hotel, talvez a Booking.com. Es mi opinión que de esta manera algunos hoteles sin escrúpulos usan este tipo de "herramientas" para incrementar sus ingresos, no lo se. Me he tomado mi tiempo para explicar lo que ocurrió, para que futuros huéspedes de ESTE HOTEL en particular tengan cuidado en hacer su reserva y, de ser el caso, estén alertas a esta nueva modalidad de estafa.

Todo, el personal de servicio es espectacular al igual que la ubicacion y restaurante. La muchacha de recepción (paulina) excepcional en su atención, amable, atenta y muy cordial e informativa con nuestra familia. EL agua y las guayabitas a disposición. Los baños de uso común impecables.

El lugar es una belleza, sus instalaciones son muy impresionantes la verdad un 10/10 y el botones que nos atendió la verdad un excelente servicio al cliente.

En la recepción cuando llegamos vi a una chica frustrada, nos dejó un buen tiempo esperando, luego nos atendió y nos explicó algo del lugar y cambio un.poco la situación, el dia siguiente yo tenia que cerrar un negocio y llame a recepción consultando si tenian centro de negocios ya que necesitaba unas impresiones y escanear unos documentos firmados y me indicaron que no tenian esta opción que las impresiones si me las podían sacar pero no tenian escaner y que no tenian centro de negocios, que tenia que salir a buscar un café Internet, la respuesta la vi poco profesional y rara a la vez, por lo que tuve que manejar todo desde mi oficina y la verdad fue complicado y molesto me tuve que atrasar como 3 horas para salir viendo que hacía para solucionar este tema al final lo logramos, luego el dia siguiente a este tema estábamos observando con mi esposa y hay un cartel donde indica que si tenian centro de negocios, me moleste y me diriji a la recepción y le indique a unas señoritas 3 por cierto que estaban ahi solucionando un problema que tenian con una impresora nuevamente frustradas y les comente sobre el tema y una de ellas me respondió de una forma inadecuada que no servía el equipo del centro de negocios, el lugar es hermoso pero veo personal con muy poca capacidad o falta de capacitación para estar atendiendo este hotel, yo fui gerente de recepción en un hotel 5 estrellas en un lugar que se llama Antigua Guatemala, Hotel Casa Santo Domingo y ahi se cuidan tanto estos detalles ya que uno de huesped espera estar como en casa o mejor que en ella, espero resuelvan este detalle, por otro lado en el restaurante hay personas demasiado serias, no se por que se comportan de esta forma como que no les gustará lo que hacen, la verdad que si es asi se deberían de buscar otro trabajo, el arte de la hostelería es el servicio al cliente y sobre todo una sonrisa calida. Vamos a regresar por que nos fascinaron las instalaciones!!

Suggerisco minifrigo nelle camere

Lovely building and v interesting to have ruins beneath the floor. Bottled water freely available for guests but also a bottle refill station is available in reception, which felt more eco-friendly! We had breakfast one morning and it was very good with lots of variety. Laundry service available to charged per item. Rooftop bar also had good small plates and delicious cocktails. Location brilliant for historico centro sightseeing, though not much open in the evenings.

Dinner in the restaurant was fine but had TVs playing the news constantly (which seemed to all be natural disasters in Latin America and very violent crimes across Mexico so felt quite disconcerting upon arrival!) Room was a little dated but clean and functional. I'm not sure how good the air con would have been if it was very hot but it was only around 27 degrees in the day when we visited so not really needed anyway!

私の言葉が通じなかったのかもしれないけれど、1泊づつ2泊予約したので同じ部屋にするようにお願いしていたのですがチェックインの時に対応した女性は一度チェックアウトしてチェックインするように言われたと思いました。でも翌日の朝他の方から同じ部屋で大丈夫だったと聞かされました。荷物をまとめる手間がかかってしまって残念でした。

The lobby and the location was great. The staff at the front who helped with our luggage were excellent—very friendly, helpful, and attentive, and they made a great first impression.

The hotel was good quality overall, but the restaurant service was very slow. The staff did not seem to have any urgency when taking orders or bringing out the food. It felt like they were not very attentive to guests or concerned about providing timely service. The restaurant experience could definitely be improved.

Loved history, locations, improvements, food and staff.

We were in the original section and while improvements were obvious there is more to do. The room and bed was fine but we ended up in a room with an older jacuzzi. The tile work was worn, faucet leaked and it was precarious to get into to shower especially for us seniors. We were conscious that these are old fashioned and use a LOT of water too so we did not even try to use it. We know the hotel has invested so much money and effort so upgrading the bathroom will likely happen next

Nos gustó mucho el servicio desde el primer momento que llegas muy buena atención, el hotel muy bonito y limpio, excelente ubicación, tienen cortesías de agua, guayaba, papas espacios de descanso, excelente comida y restaurantes. Y el gesto q mas nos gustó es q tuvieron en cuenta a los huéspedes que iban a correr y ampliaron su horario a las 3 por el maraton increible gesto, eso suma mucho más en un mundo donde solo el dinero importa. Excelente sigan consintiendo y teniendo ese excelente servicio.

•Due to the location of the hotel, especially over a weekend, it was very difficult to sleep due to the street noise below. Mexico City is lively until the early hours, so I suspect this is an issue for many hotels in the area not just this one. •We asked the staff to book us a taxi for the morning, for out onward journey, and they had obviously forgotten as we were kept waiting for at least 20 minutes before it arrived. •Limited or no English at reception depending on the staff working

La habitacion era hermosa, muy espaciosa, el baño de lujo, hermosa vista a la catedral. La cama muy cómoda, todo limpio y ordenado. Los snack en el frigobar estaban incluidos en el precio de la habitación. En el hotel habia botellas de agua fria para sacar en cualquier momento, también te o café. La ubicacion del hotel fue perfecta para conocer el centro historico de Ciudad de México. Volvería a quedarme aquí.

Podria haber una opción de desayuno incluido. Tuve que pagar aparte. Aunque la comida era muy buena y variada.

The location is perfect for sightseeing. Many iconic landmarks were a few minutes from walking distance.

The room was a bit small.

It’s in the center of tourist attractions. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. They give complimentary snacks and drinks during your stay. Most of the hotel staff spoke English.

No small hand towels to bath with. Extremely small room. The advertisement of room did not give an accurate description of room.

It is in a great location and has modern feel in a mix of history.

Bedroom door was not sound proof and others returning later on at night could be heard.

The location was perfect. Right beside the cathedral and minutes walk to templo mayor, the metro and numerous sights and restaurants. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The terrace bar also makes great margaritas.

The walls were thin that we could often hear the people beside and below us in the morning/day but it was quiet when needed at night.

メキシコらしいと言えばその通りなのですが、、初めてメキシコへ旅行に来た両親をがっかりさせてしまいました。 17時にホテルへ到着したら、宿泊予定の部屋の清掃が完了していない、終わる時間も未定だからロビーで待っていてほしいと言われました。 15時からチェックイン可能なのに終わっていない理由を尋ねると、前の宿泊客がレイトチェックアウトをしたわけでも無く、特に理由は無いが遅れているとの返答がありました。 フロントスタッフ、後にコンシェルジュスタッフに対応してもらいましたが、お詫びの言葉が無いのはもちろん、上司が帰ってしまったから宿泊料金を割引くこともできない旨の一点張りでした。 仕方ないので清掃中は空き部屋の中で高層階かつ景色の見える部屋を割り当ててほしい旨を伝えたにも関わらず2階の部屋へ案内されそうになったため、再度問い合わせると高層階にも空き部屋があることが分かったり、私たちの対応中に他の宿泊客からの電話に出ていたり、真摯に取り合ってもらえませんでした。 部屋へ上がる際はベルマンが案内してくれるのですが、私たちの荷物を持たず部屋のカードキーを開けたのみ、Wi-Fiやホテル施設の基本的な説明も無いのにチップが欲しそうな顔をされました。 メキシコで日本レベルのサービスを求めるのは間違っているのですが、ロケーションが最高で他の宿泊者からの評価も良いこちらのホテルで、このような結果となりとても残念です。

La colazione. Nessuna torta o dolce particolare, molto incentrata sul salato. Per chi non fa colazioni salate c’è solo la frutta. Non ho trovato nemmeno frutta secca o granola. I cereali erano confezionati con le scatole in vista.

Tivemos uma experiência excelente no Hotel Catedral! A localização é um dos grandes diferenciais: fica muito bem localizado, no centro da Cidade do México, o que facilitou muito nossos deslocamentos e nos permitiu aproveitar bastante a região. Desde a chegada, fomos muito bem atendidos. A equipe é extremamente atenciosa, cordial e prestativa, sempre disponível para ajudar. O quarto também nos surpreendeu pelo conforto — depois de um dia inteiro conhecendo a cidade, era muito gostoso voltar para um ambiente confortável e acolhedor. Gostamos muito também dos pequenos cuidados oferecidos pelo hotel. Eles deixam algumas comidinhas disponíveis no hotel, como batata chips e biscoitos, que são ótimos para aquela hora em que bate uma fome no meio do dia. Além disso, disponibilizam garrafinhas de água para os hóspedes levarem, o que é uma gentileza simples, mas muito útil, principalmente para quem está passeando pela cidade. São esses detalhes que fazem a diferença e mostram o cuidado do hotel com seus hóspedes. Recomendamos muito o Hotel Catedral, especialmente para quem procura uma hospedagem confortável, com excelente atendimento e uma localização privilegiada para conhecer a Cidade do México. Nós certamente voltaríamos!

To say that this location is excellent is an understatement. It was the best hotel I have ever been in my entire life. On the lowest level you can even see the Aztec ruins through the glass floor and viewing area. You could not make a better hotel even if you try.

Hotel Catedral was a great place to stay with kids on a family trip to Mexico City. Central location, great terrace views. Fabulous buffet breakfast, younger kids eat free . Helped with all our tours, and lent us a card for the metro. Free coffee, water, even light snacks in the lobby. Great being above an archaeological site! Family room with 2x separate bedrooms worked well, adjacent terrace to sit out on with hummingbirds! No fridge in room but ice freely available. 7-Eleven and Oxxo convenience stores very close, as were ATM and money change.

Dinner in Restaurant Bar Catedral was a little disappointing. As you might expect for a good city hotel, laundry by the item, and so relatively expensive. Good service wash laundry options nearby, however.

La vista a la calle Guatemala desde el balcón del primer piso fue una de las mejores que he tenido en mi vida viajando. ¡La ubicación es perfecta! La cama muy cómoda y la regadera muy buena. Los bocadillos y bebidas gratuitas para el cliente son un bono extra. El desayuno tipo buffet compite en calidad, variedad y sabor con los mejores del mundo. El personal muy atento y amable.

Great hotel, location can not be much better, exactly in the middle of the old centre behind the cathedral and the big square - ideal for exploring the old center and the history of the city and Mexico. Very clean hotel, friendly staff and fantastic breakfast. The restaurant is also very ok, although not part of the hotel I think. It offers a broad menu for a good and quick meal.

The rooms are very nice, although we had one room that hadn’t been renovated yet and where the Wi-Fi signal was weaker. But we also got a nice discount on the rooms, so cannot really complain. It is just a very good hotel.

Its location just behind the Zócalo could hardly be better, and the rooftop bar offers a view of the Metropolitan Cathedral. The buffet breakfast offers a wide variety of dishes, and the food was excellent. Part of the ground floor has a glass floor through which guests can see archaeological remains from the Tenochtitlan era. Cold drinking water and hot coffee are always available near the reception area and the rear entrance, a thoughtful touch that reflects the hotel’s hospitality. 滞在中に対応を受けた女性のフロントスタッフ2名は、どちらもやや無愛想で冷たい印象でした。また、身だしなみも4つ星ホテルのフロントスタッフとしては、もう少し整えたほうがよいように感じました。 男性スタッフの接客がとても好印象だっただけに、スタッフによって対応に差があることを残念に感じました。接客態度と身だしなみの基準が統一されることを期待します。 The two female reception staff members I interacted with during my stay both came across as rather unfriendly and cold. I also felt that their appearance could have been more professional and appropriate for the front desk of a four-star hotel. This was particularly disappointing because the male staff had made such a positive impression. I hope the hotel can provide a more consistent standard of service and professional appearance across its front desk team.

The location and the staff are the real standouts here. They have multilingual staff and the rest who were not always smile and replied to my rusty landscapers Spanish. The rooftop restaurant and bar had fantastic food even with a paired down menu, but the view is great from behind the Cathedral. Be sure to get their free cold water bottles from the 2 refrigerators in the common areas not just for sightseeing, but also to brush your teeth with….The archeological sight under the glass floor is extremely unique but was not open during our stay. I would say this hotel will be 5-star after all renovations are completed.

Our room and bathroom was a bit outdated and the safe batteries died the day before we left. I would recommend requesting a newer room in the remodeled section. Otherwise I would definitely stay here again!

The room was not ready and the standby room they gave us to put our bags they forgot to leave us with a key! Also there was no milk or creamer for the coffee on offer for early departure!
