It was walking distance from the town and to INEC where we were attending an event

Their was a fan I can presume it was for the swimming pool going all night long outside our bedroom window. When we were leaving the nxt morning I was going to say it to a staff member but there was no one around the reception area. The personal touch is gone now for most hotels

There was no tea, coffee or milk but there was a kettle and cups. There was also no one at reception when I was leaving to chat to about my grievances.

No air conditioning, the staff is not friendly, you have to make a reservation to use the pool, the bathrooms were outdated

Quizas algo alejado del centro. Eramos 4 huespedes y solo teniamos tres cucharas y tres tazas. Y lo que no me gusto fue que dejamos para que nos cambiaran la taza y cucharas y al llegar por la tarde-noche estaba la misma taza y cucharas.

Breakfast in the morning is nice and handy. Bar staff is very helpful and bedroom nice and clean and very comfortable.

The heat in the room

On our tour of Ireland, we stopped off in Killarney. We chose to stay at The Parkavon Hotel. We’d booked a deluxe double room with breakfast for one night (7–8 September 26). Positives Very friendly hotel staff Smooth check-in and check-out Breakfast was OK, rather monotonous – typical Irish breakfast. Not much choice

Negative The cleanliness isn’t exactly top-notch. Apparently this is standard, as practically all hotels have carpet in the rooms. The location is a little way out of the centre. It’s about a 12–15-minute walk to the centre. Recommended for a one-night stay

Kostenloser Parkplatz. Freundlicher Empfang. Zimmergröße (16qm) ist für 2 Nächte absolut in Ordnung. Es gab 1 queensize und 1 single Bett. Betten sind sehr bequem. Fahrstuhl . Frühstück im Haus war völlig o.k. Wir hatten keine störenden Geräusche von anderen Gästen. Mainstreet als Zentrum ist in 20 Minuten Fußweg erreichbar. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Tagestouren.

Das Zimmerman lag im Seitenflügel - vorderer Bereich mit seitlichem Blick auf die Schnellstraße. Es ist in den hinteren Bereichen oder zur Hofseite sicherlich ruhiger. Die Fenster sind nicht schallisolierend. Irgendwann lässt der Verkehr nach und man schläft ruhig.

Bottled water could have been supplied to rooms complementary.

Breakfast was excellent with really good coffee. Room was spacious and comfortable. Staff were all warm and efficient.

Das Badezimmer ziemlich veraltet und nicht wirklich sauber im vergleich zum Schlafzimmer 👎🏼 Das Essen im Restaurant, bzw. an der Bar könnte ein bisserl besser sein.

Size of the rooms and location

The rooms were modern and spacious with comfortable beds.

Standard check out is 11am and usual 12 in most hotels. The bathrooms need to be modernised to match the rooms. The pool during the week was closed from 1-4pm which I have never came across, making planning awkward. Also the area in general didnt look the cleanest and a bad smell from the changing room.

Clean and comfortable room in a great location.

A very comfortable room; there is tea, coffee, and a kettle, and everything is spotless. The curtains are excellent—they block out all the light—and the TV allows you to connect your phone, which is a fantastic feature.

The woman at the reception is nice, but she speaks in a very monotonous way, and it starts to get a bit grating; I understand there’s a script to follow, but I think the information could be delivered more quickly.

Habitaciones amplias con camas gigantescas y cómodas. El hotel tiene aparcamiento en la puerta y el desayuno bufet está correcto.

Das Hotel ist schon ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen, unser Zimmer war aber sauber und das ist uns am wichtigsten. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im Erdgeschoss, leider ohne schöne Aussicht und die Fenster ließen sich nicht komplett öffnen. Vermutlich, damit niemand einsteigen kann. Das Frühstück war ok, aber mehr auch nicht. Obst aus der Konserve, ist einfach nicht unser Fall. Hervorzuheben ist aber das super nette und liebenswerte Personal. Sehr hilfsbereit. Ausreichend Parkplatz ist vorhanden und man ist in ca. 15 min auch zu Fuß im wirklich schönen Killarney. Und für den Ring of Kerry liegt das Hotel auch optimal. Alles in allem eine gute Unterkunft für 2 Nächte Killarney. Unbedingt sollte man die Muckross Abbey besuchen.

Ich hatte mich sehr aufs Schwimmbad gefreut, wurde aber ziemlich enttäuscht. Ersten macht es erst ab 09:00 Uhr auf, also schwimmen vor dem Frühstücken geht also nicht. Man muss sich auch anmelden, da die Personenanzahl dort begrenzt ist. Wir haben es einmal am späten Nachmittag genutzt. Es ist aber noch viel mehr in die Jahre gekommen, als der Rest des Hotels und bedarf einer gründlichen Grundreinigung. Genau schauen durfte man dort nicht.

The place was great, it’s in a good location just a short walk into the centre of Killarney. The value for money was brilliant. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful.

The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was a very good size. Also liked how there were so many outlets and usb/c ports that way all 4 guests in the room could charge their electronics at once.

it would have been nice if the bathrooms had a fan to make it less steamy.

Las instalaciones son muy buenas, con piscina, jacuzzi, sauna..., muy cómodo poder aparcar en el propio hotel y gratis. Habitación cuádruple con dos camas de matrimonio muy cómodas.

El desayuno podría ser más económico.

Perfect location beautiful hotel Spotlessly clean and the beds are so comfy

We were on the first floor beautiful room with a large window the only problem was if we opened the curtains for some daylight sun there is no privacy curtain like a thin layer of netting which was needed with neighboring buildings

We arrived at 1pm feeling very much in need of food and no food was being served until 3pm

The expense!! I ordered a little side portion of chips and it was €6!!! The food menu was also expensive for example breakfast was €18 for adults and €11 for a child!!

The family room with plenty of space and the location

I think the hotel was updated but maybe we stayed in the old rooms. Also the breakfast was not worth it.

La ubicación a las puertas del Parque Nacional de Killarney, y aparcamiento en el mismo alojamiento.

Si quieres hacer uso del gym debes pagar un suplemento adicional al que ya has pagado.

No staff about to make you welcome . Only staff member spoke at check in and not again . Poor facility’s in room . Very basic tea/ coffee . Towels very poor , old and stained and mixed sizes .

Clean and plenty of storage. We got the family suite that had 2 separate bedrooms and a common bathroom. The rooms were very spacious. It was 10 mins walk from the town center so very convenient to walk back and forth from the town. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly.

No room service or water in the room. We had to get it ourselves from the restaurant downstairs.

Muy cara para lo que es, antigua y la habitación de 4 era muy pequeña, el baño muy muy antiguo y bañera incómoda con cortina de baño.

I didn't sleep at all due to noise outside the room. This was a constant loud humming sound.
