I was delighted with my experience at the Castle Lodge, and love that it is a family accommodation. It’s a very relaxed environment, well appointed, and close to the city center. My room overlooked garden and was very comfortable and quiet.

I enjoyed my stay at Castle Lodge. It was close to everything and I was easily able to walk to the city center, and it was also easy to drive into Killarney Park. The traffic can get heavy at certain times in the area, but I was traveling at peak season. There is parking on the premises but it is first come first serve. For some reason a small tour van was in the parking and seemed to cause havoc at time on the parking situation as he would take up several spaces a time, so maybe it wouldn't be bad at any other time. My room was spacious and the bed was ok. The bathroom was a nice size and shower was great. The room could get warm during the day, but as long as you are ok to open the windows at night it cools down.

The room was dirty. The blinds were covered in dust and had cob webs. My boyfriend came to visit me in the evening and upon entering the man at the desk asked if he was staying the night, and then asked if there was enough beds in the room. My boyfriend was then charged a €50 fee to stay the night. This just felt very unexpected and the questions we were being asked felt uncomfortable. Asking if there was a bed for my boyfriend to sleep in felt very uncomfortable.

Es u hotel muy bien situado, cerca del centro de la ciudad y del parque, muy fácil de localizar. Las anfitrionas son muy amables y nos hicieron el cambio de la habitación sin ningún problema. El desayuno es muy correcto.

Que el primer día nos dieron una habitación individual y una triple cuando habñiamos pedido 3 dobles, pero al día siguiente nos la cambiaron sin probelma.

I loved everything about this property. The location is fantastic, right next to the beautiful park, and everything is within easy walking distance. The room was clean, comfortable and cosy, and the staff were absolutely wonderful — very friendly and helpful.

You couldn’t leave the toilet door open as it is on a spring. No windows in the toilet/bathroom and it really smelt. The towels were in need of replacing

Tutto il resto. Ci danno una prima stanza e lo scarico del bagno era rotto. Cambiamo stanza e la doccia non funzionava, non riusciva a regolare l'a temperatura dell'acqua calda che usciva bollente. Ci hanno proposto una soluzione: andare a fare la doccia in un bagno al piano superiore...... moquette a terra sporca, colazione da far inorridire

Great stay as always. It’s my Killarney home on at least my first and last night when travelling via Kerry airport. Walking distance from town, easy parking, lovely comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and lovely cooked to order breakfast. Great location for day trips.

My only wish would be an earlier breakfast for earlier flights, but I have always been offered food to take to me room the night before, or even toast in the morning. 8am is standard for lots of hotels so is not at all unreasonable.

Wir hatten das Zimmer 25 zum Garten gelegen und dadurch sehr ruhig, kein Straßenlärm, bei offenem Fenster geschlafen. Gutes Frühstück, gute Betten, schnelles WLAN, 5min zu Fuß in die Innenstadt, kostenfreier Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus, sehr nette Angestellte, super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

It was a nice property near to the centre of Killarney. Unfortunately the rooms we were allocated weren’t ideal and we couldn’t use or get a refund for the 2nd room as our son couldn’t make it at the last minute and we had booked through yourselves as a 3rd party.

We had two rooms, one for our son who couldn’t come at the last minute. Neither room was ideal for us and we were disappointed we couldn’t get a refund for the unused room but understand why. Our room was large and dated with 3 beds which we didn’t need, it had a bath which I would have found difficult to use as I had hurt my ankle. Also the toilet was too close to the basin. We used the room my son should have had which was a bit quirky with a step up to the shower room. Not ideal but we managed. The shower was also too hot and not possible to turn the control to make it cooler.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Castle Lodge Hotel in Killarney. The room was very comfortable, and the bathroom was equally pleasant and well maintained. The bed was cosy, and despite its convenient location, the hotel was wonderfully quiet, which made for a very relaxing stay. Breakfast was included and, while simple, it was fresh and satisfying – exactly what was needed to start the day. The real gems of this place are the staff. Everyone was incredibly nice, friendly, and helpful throughout my stay. A very special shout-out goes to Amy at reception, whose warm smile truly brightened my day. Her kindness and welcoming attitude made my stay even more memorable. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Killarney.
