no bidet at toilet for common Malaysian people and a few facilities need to upgrade or maintain

I like the room,it is situated just in front of the beach,so I can always look at the beautiful view just from my room. The staffs also so helpful and friendly. Restaurant also serving wide selection of food

Beautiful rooms on the hills. Great with small kids. The have baby chairs and baby cots. Food is great and large offer with kids menu. Very friendly staff. Great hawker center nearby with a seven/eleven.

I pay for poolside view room but got the hiĺlside room, not worth it.

The location is fantastic, on the beach and with several nice trails starting close to the hotel. Staff was nice and helpful. The pool is nice, and long enough for swimming.

The rooms are old and not too attractive, they look closer to a 3* rather than a 4* hotel.

L’environnement est joli, sur le bord de la plage (même si la plage n’est pas aménagée, donc aucune chaise, ni parasol, d’ailleurs il n’y a jamais personne à la plage, on a trouvé ça étrange). Mais la nature est belle, et ça donne une pause de la ville ce que nous avons apprécié, mais c’est aussi assez loin du centre-ville et avec le trafic ça pouvait nous prendre plus d’une heure pour s’y rendre. La nourriture à la carte pour le souper était bonne et le buffet déjeuner (comprit dans le prix) était bien aussi.

Hôtel très délabré, sans âme et sans vie. C’est vraiment très laid (sauf son emplacement et la piscine dans le haut de la colline qui est magnifique avec la vue), sinon c’est affreux. Nous avons d’ailleurs dû demandé de changer de chambre, car la première donnée était tellement sale, la salle de bain aucune nettoyée ark, avec un lézard de mort sur le plancher, etc.), pleine de poussière, de fourmis, et l’odeur épouvantable, on dirait vraiment que ça faisait des mois et des mois que personne avait mis les pieds dans cette chambre. On s’est plaint, et nous aurions changé d’hôtel si ça n’avait pas été qu’il était plus de 22h et que nos enfants étaient très fatigués. On nous a donc attribué une autre chambre (immense avec vue sur la mer), c’était très moyen et tjrs aussi laid avec ce décor des années 80, mais au moins plus propre que la précédente. Je ne recommande pas, fuyez absolument cet hôtel !!

The beach was beautiful, pools were pretty clean but not the cleanest either.

No nightstands, only one chair in the rooms and the pools have leafs/insects floating in them.

Świetna lokalizacja - widok zza okna za każdym razem wywoływał uśmiech na twarzy. Przemiły, zawsze uśmiechnięty i pomocny personel. Śniadania smaczne, powtarzalne ale zawsze z drobnymi zamianami w menu. W czasie naszego pobytu w obiekcie było bardzo mało innych podróżnych - odnosiliśmy wrażenie, że basen jest na naszą wyłączność :). Na basenie dostępne bezpłatne ręcnziki basenowe. W ciągu godzinny jazdy samochodem można dojechać do Parku Bako, Rezerwatu Semenggoh Wildlife Centre czy też centrum Kuching. Zaraz obok hotelu znajduje się Sarawak Cultural Village

Obiekt ma już swoje lata - widać to i w samym pokoju hotelowym jak i w otoczeniu. Niemniej nie przeszkadza to w korzystaniu z obiektu. W pokoju brak WiFi (ale była strefa w której można z WiFi korzystać). Ciepła woda w kranie nie wystarczała do napełnienia wanny (ale na prysznic na rodziny 2+3 wystarczała w zupełności)

Heerlijke bedden!! Servicegericht personeel, erg attent en vriendelijk. Groot resort met mooie lounge, fijn zwembad (met veel ruimte eromheen) en mooi strand. Heerlijk balkon. Perfect voor een verblijf met kinderen!

Het resort is verouderd. Is echt wel aan renovatie toe. De kamer was prima (alles functioneerde) maar wel echt oud. Geen 4 sterren waard. Vloerdelen met kieren ertussen, kitranden in de badkamer vies, veel losse tegels op resort. Het oogt een beetje 'vergane glorie'. Maar de ligging en het buitengedeelte evenals het personeel maken een hoop goed.

My room is located too far from the reception and breakfast area, and requires us to climb steep stairs. As I am accompanied by my elderly parents who suffer from knee pain and have limited mobility, I would highly appreciate any assistance

Comfortable bed and clean room. The staff were friendly and accommodating to us. Had a good breakfast and dinner there, the options for breakfast buffet a bit limited but still tasted great. You basically can walk to Sarawak cultural village and Damai central from the lobby. The beach with Mount Santubong as the background is beautiful

Boede i en hytte tæt på vandet. Hotel-rum opfylder behov. Lidt slidt og et tv som ikke rigtig fungerer. Men ellers er dejligt sted at bruge et par dage.

Udefra kommende som trænger ind på området.

Fantastisk beliggenhed ned til stranden og i gåafstand til naturparken. store rummelige værelser i stueplan. Lækkert og rent swimmingpool. god aircon. Personalet var meget søde og hjælpsomme. Rart med en lille købmandsbutik midt i det hele. Rigtig god morgenmad på restauranten. Kun 10 minutters gang til anden lækker strandcafe/restaurant Escobar.

Vinduet kunne ikke åbnes, så det kunne nemt blive lidt indelukket. Baren ved poolen havde mærkelige åbningstider og havde udsolgt af mange af de almindelige drikkevarer. Der var mange larmende gæster/børn i weekenden. wifi virkede ikke under hele opholdet :-(

The view and weather was nice. A coway water dispenser was provided.

Love the sunset view. Our room was upgraded to chalet and it was spacious with comfy beds.

The room and the bathroom are spacious, and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The prices at the cafe are reasonable and yummy too. The surrounding is full of green, and quiet. A great idea for a short getaway from Kuching city.

The swimming pool closes too early - at 7pm!

Close location to tourist attractions within the damai beach area including the Sarawak Cultural Village and ports for the river cruises. Staff were friendly and approachable.

The resort is quite run down. Rooms and grounds have not been maintained or updated. Definitely not what you expect when booking into a resort. No wifi in rooms and very basic furnishings.

Das Resort hat ein gut geführtes Restaurant mit aufmerksamen und geschulten Angestellten. Vielseitiges Frühstück, gutes Preis- leistungsverhältnis fürs Abendessen. Die Lage direkt am Strand, absolut ruhig und naturnah. Gute Wandermöglichkeiten fußläufig zu erreichen. Shuttleservice nach Kuching, Flughafen. Große Zimmer, angenehme Balkongröße.

Schlechtes Wifi, viel Personal aber es wird nichts gemacht, d.h. Müll liegt tagelang auf den Wegen der Anlage, Poolbereich ist ungepflegt, Pool wird nicht regelmäßig gereinigt, am Strand liegt der Müll und die Treppe ist kaputt. Im Zimmer konnte man die Balkontür nur sehr schwer aufschieben, die Betten waren durchgelegen, der Fußboden müsste dringend erneuert werden, die Einrichtung ist spartanisch. Mein Eindruck: Das Personal hat keine klaren Arbeitsaufträge, alle hängen nur ab und werden nicht angeleitet.

Our room has easy access to both pool areas and the beach, and the hot/cold water dispenser was a godsend for midnight snacks and hot drinks.

Some of the fixtures are well used over the years and may have slight malfunctions.

Disappointing stay. The bathroom had a bad smell and the sink was clogged. Breakfast choices were very limited, and the staff at the laksa and egg station were unfriendly. Overall, needs improvement.

Location and people were good

The place needs maintenance, badly. Shingles falling off, paint peeling, termites... Food very mediocre, pizza is soggy, little menu variety. Most windows need cleaning in the rooms. Buggy response, erratic

Tak sesuai untuk saya yg ada bayi. Agak seram dan decoration mengundang. Sangat jauh ya dari lobby. Kena pakai shuter van. Leceh. Saya yg salah booking.

1. The chalet oftenly have sand inside the room. Need to study or create a solution to mitigate sand from penetrating yhe room. 2. The room facilities are totally outdated especially the chalet room. Altough the room facilities are fully functional but some feautres such as the SPC floor is run down and you can see through the floor and the ground and the wooden stuff are not up to the standard. 3. The breakfast refill was too slow and the menu options are too little.
