Il bagno in camera decisamente da migliorare, c'era la vasca e non la doccia, i sanitari erano datati e lo spazio molto ristretto. Apprezzata la presenza del bidet, ma lo avevamo scelto anche per questo.

Bfast was very basic and the room didn’t have a fridge. TV was old and didn’t have Netflix but loads of channels to watch. Netflix would be nice for those who like to watch their series. Staff did their job and kept their heads down. It needs a little bit of TLC, but overall happy.

There was a wonderful variety of breakfast options to cater to different tastes. Loved the cosy lounge — it was a great spot to relax.
The room requires extra ceiling lights. During the day, the natural light from the window suffices, but at night, additional lighting beyond the bedside lamps is necessary.

La poca luz de la habitación. Hay luces led que son insuficientes y son pocas. Sería conveniente que incluyeran frigobar en las habitaciones. En verano con la altas temperaturas, no hay lugar donde dejar bebidas frías.

Each time we got a room at a different side of the building, and the view from both was impressive (Batalha Square and the Sao Ildefonso church or the Clerics tower). The hotel is located in the town centre within walking distance from the main tourists attractions, with lots of restaurants around. The staff was helpful, and the rooms were comfortably furnished. Free refill water station in the lobby was a great advantage. The breakfast buffet was diversified enough to cater for different types of diet.

Reviewed Aug 8, 2026The front desk staff were excellent- warm, friendly, helpful, especially Maria who pulled out a city map, showed us the location of the hotel and gave us a general orientation of where we were relative to points of interest in the city. The location of the legendary Porto Hotel is excellent for getting around the city- Hop On Off bus starting points are a short walk away. Restaurants for varying budgets, small convenience stores, a Normal store, and a fairly large shopping mall with a food court, are all within walking distance as well. Breakfast was excellent- warm and cold food choices, tea, coffee, freshly-squeezed orange juice(!), breads, fruit, pastries.
The room safe did not work, even after 2 attempts by maintenance to fix it. We were told a new safe would be installed but we were only there for 2 nights so that did not happen during our stay.

Reviewed Aug 7, 2026La chambre était spacieuse, lumineuse et très bien aménagée. La literie est très confortable. L'hôtel est très bien situé et dispose d'une bagagerie ce qui est très pratique. Et le personnel de l'accueil parle parfaitement français.
Le bruit dans le couloir avec des enfants qui courent mais ça ne relève pas de la responsabilité de l'hôtel.

Reviewed Jul 16, 2026Buena hubicación, frente a la plaza, caminando se puede visitar casi todo el centro histórico. Limpio, con personal 24 hs.y guarda equipaje. Tiene calienta agua y sobres de tés y cafés. Dejan agua de cortesia. Cambian las toallas a diario y junto con la ropa de cama estaban impe cables. El placard es grande con espejos en las puertas. La ventana lo hace muy luminoso de día. Hay aire acondicionado. Hay restoranes y tiendas en los alrededores. El bus 207 de la terminal intermodal te deja enfrente.
De los dos días de entancia, uno y medio no hubo agua caliente en el baño, problema que solucionaron. El dormitorio es un poco pequeño si se viaja con mucho equipaje. Solo hay un reposa maletas y una silla. No tiene frigobar. El baño es completo pero pequeño, sobre todo la cabina de ducha. El colchón requiere un cambio urgente, se hunde hacia los costados. Falta luz de techo en la habitación, la iluminación proviene solo de las portátiles de las mesitas de luz y del escritorio.

La propreté de la salle de bain, (des cheveux, et des comprimés par terre oubliés par les anciens clients ).!! La baignoire n'avait pas de robinet... seulement un plumeau ( bien calculé pour éviter le remplissage !!!! ) Le bruit des clients en rentrant dans leurs chambres, ma chambre était face à l'ascenseur !!

De lift is erg klein en vroegen we ons iedere keer af, halen we de 6e etage. ( is goedgedaan ) We misten een plafondlamp, verlichting slechts 3 spotjes.

Il personale è sempre stato gentile e disponibile. La colazione, inclusa nel prezzo, era abbondante e varia, con un buon caffè. Ho apprezzato molto anche il dispenser per riempire la borraccia d'acqua, un servizio davvero utile e attento all'ambiente. Nel complesso, un ottimo hotel ci tornerei volentieri e lo consiglio senza esitazioni.

Reviewed Jul 1, 2026He estado en este hotel (con distintos nombres y razones comerciales) en distintos años y siempre me ha gustado su ubicación céntrica, y dentro de lo que cabe, la accesibilidad con coche para lo que es Oporto. Tuvimos suerte con la habitación en planta alta, amplia y vistas a la plaza de Bathala por lo que era inmejorable, baño reformado y mobiliario actual. Todo perfecto en este sentido. Dispensador de agua mineral gratuita en el hall.
Estuvimos seis días y se nota que es un hotel turístico para estancias cortas. El desayuno muy justo y repetitivo. Como punto bueno a destacar el zumo de naranja natural (maquina exprimidora). Café de maquina pésimo, variedad de alimentos salados muy justa con huevos revueltos y embutido mínimo y de mala calidad. Variedad de dulces reducida a pequeñas magdalenas y croissant además de la máquina de tortitas y los pastelitos de nata. Fruta correcta. Cuando pasas varios días el desayuno resulta monótono. Lo peor de todo el café.

Wurst und Käseangebot war okay, aber das Angebot an frischen Früchten / frischem Obstsalat und frischen Tomaten und Gurken war hervorragend. Das Nachlegen in überschaubaren Platten war ebenfalls spitze, generell die Übersicht des Personals im Frühstücksraum ist hervorzuheben.
Unser Zimmer war schon vor langer Zeit eingerichtet und sehr hellhörig. Der Modernisierungsbedarf sollte erfolgen. Günstig wäre auch, wenn Body-Lotion bei diesem Preis mit angeboten würde.
