Just love this place

Room was not ready at check in. Plumbing and electrical issues in our room. Maintenance did not respond to our first request to fix electrical issue. Not enough staff at front desk during checkin.

When we checked in, the room was very clean. But during our six-day stay, no one came to clean us. We returned the towels ourselves and got new ones. Overall, the staff was friendly.

It was a good property to stay at.

The property was very clean. Loved the pool. Very quiet and peaceful.

Shuttle was great!

Great property and the front desk team is one of the best I have ever experienced. Anita and Mindy were so kind and friendly. I was in North Carolina for an interview with a local solid waste company and they were so helpful to get me a room early to prepare, spoke very highly about the Carolinas and were so polite and friendly. Anita and Mindy told me I would get the job since they felt I was a good people person too, and they were correct! I got the job and will be moving to North Carolina soon. Thanks Anita and Mindy! The room was excellent too and it was super clean and upscale. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Sonesta team for making me experience at the hotel excellent.

The location is excellent, about 5 minutes from the airport. But the windows are not soundproof so you hear the planes. Also people walking in the room over your head. For some strange reason they don’t supply dish soap or shower gel and file out dishwasher tabs 1 at a time. Otherwise it was an acceptable unit.

Everything was clean well kept up front desk was friendly.

Our stay was great but I hope the service and cleanliness was a little better.

First time staying at Sonesta ES. Rooms were very spacious and very clean. Front counter staff were very friendly.

It was like home away from home. Very cozy and inviting.

Staff at the front desk were super nice and helpful. The elevators are currently down but that resulted in a lowered deposit, and they even had a staff member bring my luggage up for me. Nice room that served the purpose I booked for. Close to the airport and my two jobs so it was very convenient. My one complaint is that when I checked in some toiletries like the hand soap and body wash were not filled, but it wasn't that big of a deal. Overall satisfying stay!

We took this trip with almost no notice due to a family emergency. When we arrived, we weren't thinking straight, we were exhausted, & scared. I barely even remember checking in, but I remember being helped by a lovely woman at the front desk, & I remember her telling me not to worry, that she'd tell me everything again in the morning. During our entire stay, the staff, especially Angela & Effie, treated us like their own. We truly felt like we were staying with family. When our loved one passed away, they wept with us & held us close. A hotel is a hotel is a hotel. This is a home away from home. We felt welcome. We felt safe. We felt loved. There is no way we can ever thank you enough for your kindness. It meant the world to us, & will never forget you.

Staff was wonderful.

Not a Marriott! Checked in and room had no soap whatsoever; no hand soap, no dish soap and no body wash. Went to the front and was offered a small bar of hand soap. Small, curly hairs on shampoo dispenser, gross! Next day, went to front to ask for soap again. Hotel doesn’t provide dish soap with full kitchen? Pet area was very dark at night, was completely out of poop bags and garbage was overflowing for three days; paid $75 pet fee, but not sure why. Insect in room, missing bedding for sofa bed, and cheap shampoo and conditioner. My hair was dry and brittle after three days. Would not stay again.

The room was a great size for the price. The hotel was conveniently located near the airport and the airport shuttle was available. Please be aware that this is an extended stay property and there were definitely some people that seem to be very settled in. Housekeeping only services rooms once a week. The hand soap and body soap dispensers were both totally empty in my room - that left me wondering when the last time it had been cleaned or checked. That being said, I felt safe there - the bed was extremely comfortable and the property was quiet and well lit. There is nothing within easy walking distance other than other hotels and a hooters, but there are good amenities a short ride away

Loved having a 2 bedroom option with a living room and kitchen.

I enjoyed the room amenities. I had a 2 Br suite. Very accommodating! This NY girl I would stay again in a heart beat.

This place has wonderful customer service. Angela, in particular, was amazing. So friendly and helpful. The rooms are very pretty. And, are comfortable. I would come back again in the future. Thank you, Angela!

Nice room with plenty of options for making your own food with a small refrigerator, 2-burner electric stove, and microwave. Comfortable bed and nice bathroom. 2 large screen TV’s, one in the bedroom and one in the living room area. Quiet air conditioner. Good breakfast buffet with scrambled eggs, pancakes, bacon, yogurt, cereals, and bagels. OJ, apple juice, coffee, tea… Very satisfied with my stay and would not hesitate to stay again.

I did not stay at this hotel due to a flight cancellation that prevented me from arriving in Raleigh/ Durham on the days that I had a reservation for. I attempted to cancel, and was charged for one day anyway. I would like to be reimbursed for the second day as I was unable to be there due to the airline cancelling my flight.

We stayed at Sonesta ES Suites Raleigh Durham Airport Morrisville the night before dropping our son off at college, and the manager’s kindness and attention made all the difference. When the pull-out couch mattress in our first room was too warped for our son to sleep comfortably, the manager personally dragged in a spare mattress so he could rest well. The very next day, as soon as another room became available, they moved us so our son could have an even better night’s sleep before the big day.

Room smelled musty and the elevators didn’t work. The only redeeming quality was that our front desk person took us to the airport but that is because the shuttle forgot to show up.

Near to RDU, nice rooms, breakfast

I liked the rooms and Felicia was very helpful and attentive. I was checked in quick and my room was pristine. When I needed a bit more time to gather my belongings for checkout Felicia was understanding, patient, and helpful.

The deposit was a bit high and the elevator wasn't working, although they offered to help get bags up.

We absolutely loved our stay and wish we could have stayed longer! I especially loved the fully equipped kitchen and all the space! We highly recommend!

Grouped with a bunch of old and tired cheap hotels near RDU. Except for its proximity to RDU for 6 am flights, there’s absolutely nothing to recommend this hotel.

Loved this hotel! It was great for our kids and dogs! Breakfast was good! Only 7 mins from the airport. Highly recommend!

Nice spot to be at

It was a wonderful facility —contemporary decor, nice layout and convenient. My biggest concern is the once a week room cleaning policy. I was not made aware of that either in the materials or at check in. The reception and check-in staff could have been friendlier and more welcoming. They did the job; but the hospitality was missing. Perhaps additional training on the importance of professionalism and hospitality is needed.

The room was super clean and up to date! The bed was comfy. The only downside was that the elevator in my building was out of service so I had to walk up 3 flights each time. There seemed to be a good amount of breakfast options but they ran out of food and I was pressed for time so I couldn’t wait for them to replenish.

This was the first time we stayed at this hotel and it was absolutely amazing from check in to check out. The room was clean and specious.

Very grateful to get a later 1PM check out that we very much appreciated. Our room was right by the courtyard/pool on the first level and was very serene. Nice stay.

Room was specious, clean and comfortable. Up to date property. Breakfast was decent but you need to wait for coffee for more than 10 mins to be replaced. Breakfast lady did not wanna replace the pancake batter although there was still 20 mins before breakfast ending time. Small things but could be improved. Generally great stay and value for the money.

I arrived at 3:30 pm but check-in was at 4 pm. I waited in the lobby/lounge area. My son wanted to play basketball, so he asked Ms. Kim at the front desk for a ball and he went off to play. I went to the front desk to ask a few questions and Ms. Kim was so pleasant and professional. She provided me with a list of restaurants. We decided on Bone Fish Grill which was only a 8 minute drive from the hotel. I met Ms. Effi when we checked out atgreat! am and she was also very professional and pleasant. My overall experience was really good.

I wish check-in was at 3pm. After traveling all day, I just want to check-in as soon as possible.

It took us till 9:30 at night to get frying oans that weree suppose to be provided. The plugs in the kitchen didnt work unless thwy were reset. The pool was aweful Hot not refreshing at all. Was not told about a 250 depotsit by hotels.com. The place was clean other wise and thw beds were comfortable.

Amazing stay, only issue is you hear the upstairs people. Other then that the whole stay was great!

I did not like the fact that I had to park on the side of the building in order to enter my room. Lighting is not good and there are a lot of trees. It was late and I was by myself, as a female, I did not feel safe. I got out of my car when when I saw another family preparing to go inside. To be fair the clerk did tell me that i could go through the pavilion to get to my room, it was just as dark. I loved everything else!

Overall the stay wasn’t too bad but house keeping could’ve been a bit better I had to go to the desk to get towels not a big deal. Breakfast was good pool was clean staff was nice. Even the fitness facility was good to use. Only a Wendy’s in the area that is walking distance but I would stay again. 4 out of 5 for me.

The suite was perfect 👌 There were five of us, and it had so much room. My daughters had their own space with a bathroom. Loved it! The lady at the desk was very kind and friendly. She explained that we could park our car there and take the shuttle to the airport. We were so relieved. One less thing to worry about! When we got back, we only had to wait for about five minutes for the shuttle to take us back to the hotel to pick up our car. It was so convenient.

The pool was very nice, customer service was great at reception. Bed was very comfortable.

The dining table and chairs in our room were very wobbly. It seems like it needed the legs tightened. Did not feel comfortable eating at the table. I report to the reception person at check out.

There was a leak uber the sink which they kept saying they would get fixed and never did

Breakfast kept running out of stuff and the timing did breakfast. Also the sofa bed was broken and springs in the bed you can feel them . It was uncomfortable. No towel at the pool area . The toilet kept clogging up . The hold amount for the stay after already paying for the hotel stay . Was unexpected.

It exceeded our expectations, the breakfast was phenomenal and just the overall experience.

Everyone working was lovely. Allowed late check out when flight cancelled. Food and coffee in the morning was excellent. Room was fantastic.

Everything was good for my stay, so much so that I extended it. All the things I needed were provided.

The hotel was not bad. The only issue was a person who claimed to be the manager. Very disrespectful. Will never stay there again
