Loved the location and they have a washer and dryer available.

Where do I start! The area and beach were beautiful! But the hotel.. not so much! We arrived and there were string hanging out of the closet. Fine, just to a bag in there. Checked the bed and there was hair in between the sheets and a blood stain on the mattress protector. They looked dirty. (Not changed) So we had them changed. The floor was not vacuumed and was dirty, there was cereal under the couch the bathroom was not cleaned properly, cobwebs underneath the sink, dirty floor around the toilet! Tub was cracked! there was dead bugs behind the couch. And the sliding door rails were filthy! And to top it off they decided, on the morning we were leaving, to drain the cloudy pool into the parking lot! With No notice to the ones who were parked there so I had to walk in water up to my ankles to get into my car! Wet shoes for a 15 hour drive home!

Location is perfect. Breakfast was great and they switched up the choices every 3 days. We were there 4 so it was nice to have something different.

The lights were not on the building in the back and the sprinklers weren’t on in the pool. Asked at the front desk and also maintenance and was told he did not know why they don’t let him turn them on

Rude staff at front desk named Kizzy. didn’t get a towel card until the second day. Room not the cleanest, pool was ok but not the best. We left a night early and went somewhere else!

Staff seemed rude and standoff ish but you only had to talk to them on check in check out and for towels so it’s ok

The breakfast was very hearty. The bed was quite comfortable. The room was a little bit cold but thankfully the AC was adjustable. I adjusted it back when I checked out. The amenities were good.

The electrical outlets in the room were confusing and not what I needed. The balcony was also locked, and I did not figure out how to open it so that I could go on the balcony.

Fantastic beach front location . Legit hot breakfast. Good rates. Place was clean. Rooms were huge and had balconies .

Sometimes had to wait awhile for the elevator but other than that nothing was bad.

They went above and beyond my expectations everyday!

The desk agents were chill, the room was a good value.

They charged my card 2x so 250$ of my vacation budget was sucked up on hold and I still havent gotten it back, causing me to have to cancel parts of my vacation.

Location, facility was clean, staff was accommodating, pool snack area was open daily.

Great pool and spa excellent outdoor poolside bar right on the beach splendid full hot fresh well diverse complimentary hot breakfast!!!

Breakfast was great! The staff kept everything clean and stocked up for everyone during breakfast. They engaged everyone with friendly conversation about the morning. All throughout the day staff were making sure everyone was taken care of in the hotel and at the pool area.

Each room needs a little broom or vacuum so the guest can clean up any unwanted sand or mess. Even though we cleaned off at the showers by the pool coming from the beach we still tracked in some sand and I would’ve liked to be able to sweep it up.

Location was awesome. The kids loved the pool

No water fountains to refill water , a member of the cleaning staff was sitting in the hallway on her phone waiting for us to leave at 9:30 but we didn’t have to check out till 11:00.

From check in time to check out the staff was very nice, very friendly and helpful.

My only complaint is having to check out.

She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and made us feel like valued guests. Her professionalism, positive attitude, and willingness to help truly stood out. It’s rare to come across someone who takes such pride in providing outstanding customer service. Beach access, the hot tub, great view, clean

Breakfast choices were amazing! The stay was so calm on the beachfront. We loved easy access to the beachfront and the pool :)

The room had some rust and peeling around the floor and walls but I know it's due to storms in the past.

The breakfast was very good. The menu was varied with a good selection and not the exact same every day.

Softer butter not in fridge. That's our only criticism. Everything else is fine. Service staff was excellent!

The location, steps from the beach and white sand beach. Truly beach front property. Breakfast selection was great and organized. We would like to recognize Susan from the breakfast area, the young gentleman in the pool area (7/9/26) and the front desk ladies, you guys made our stay the best.

This is a non smoking property yet some guest are smoking in the pool area exposing second hand smoke to young kids and pregnant moms. These smokers need to be held accountable and be punished.

The breakfast was the only thing good here.

Location was great, right on the beach. The breakfast every morning was wonderful. Our bed slept great and we enjoyed the balcony and view of the ocean. We rented the umbrella and chairs available on the beach and the attendant was super nice!

I love the breakfast and the location. It is close to Walmart anout 5minute drive and about 8min drive to the fishing pier. It is directly on the beach. The hotel is clean and well maintained.

The property needs more parking space. I had two rooms and there was not enough parking. The staff ensured me I’d be able to park at Walmart in which I did and as a result got towed and paid 210$ to get my car back. The parking needs to be expanded and the staff needs to be informed to not tell guests false information.

Just wanted to remind anyone on here reading reviews that this place is TERRIBLE!!! I was an IHG spire elite member. The experience here so awful I have abandoned any IHG owned hotels. I travel a lot for work and all my business is Hilton and Bonvoy. I’m Diamond Select with Hilton and Gold with Bonvoy. Trust me and stay as far away from this place as you can. Just an awful place. Cleanliness was absolutely horrific and the staff was just as bad. Take my word for it and look elsewhere.

I loved how close the location is to the beach. The pool is also very accommodating to the amount of people there for the summer. Never got over crowded.

We did not opt out of room cleaning. (Traveling with children) they did not clean our room. We had to ask for towels several times. We requested they clean our room and they didnt not even vacuum the sand up. Only took our trash.

I will start by saying the staff was very nice and helpful. Other than that I would never stay there again. When you first entered the hotel the lobby was very hot. Then we get to the elevators and only one was working and it made all kind of noise. Make sure to bring your own way to get your luggage to your room because they only have 6 of the trollys that are triangle shaped, not even a full sized luggage cart at all. We had to make 3 TRIPS up to our room on the 5th floor!! The rooms are very outdated and dirty. We didn’t even get to enjoy the balcony because it was so grimey!!! Also the wave pool is very small and there is no swimming pool. The pics online are VERY misleading. Bring your chairs and umbrellas if you want to get in any water. We even left a day early because we just were done with it. We stayed in the Hilton Inn at Fort Walton last year and it was supper nice and clean. Guess I was expecting the same quality at this location. For the money it cost I am VERY disappointed with our stay. Hope this review helps someone else.

Rooms are starting to age and not as clean as they could be.

The location, food area/bar at the pool, access to the beach. The room itself was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The shower was not very clean.

The elevator operation certificate was expired and the elevator was very sketchy. My husband ate the breakfast, and said it was almost not even worth eating and tasted old.

Staff was great!!! They tried to handle the issues and as I said the staff did a good job.

1. We asked for a king bed but we got two double beds. 2. Humidity in the room was out of control, everything was wet and the room was hot. They did find a dehumidifier and I also bought one which both ran for 4 days straight but the room dried out. 3. Housekeeping asked if we wanted our room cleaned and we replied yes, but they never cleaned our room.

Mandi provided great customer service the whole trip. She provided great hospitality very knowledgeable about the process when asked. You have a very great representative onboard your staff. All were pleasant but Mandi provided guidance where to find everything through out my stay.

It was wonderful!!

Loved the maintenance supervisor he fixed our a/c and our bathtub drain. Wonderful staff, except one her name is Sarah. Rude and acted like she didn't want to be disturbed. My husband was very upset after he went to the front desk to ask some info. But everybody else there was great.

Mandi (front desk) and Tiffany (housekeeping) were amazing! So kind and made our quick trip extra special! We will be back!

The hotel is old and worn out. Mold near shampoo dispensers. Water in the tub drains slowly - probably hair or sand in the drain. Ceiling paint chipping and cracking. Shower walls are just gross. Obnoxious guests are constantly making noise and it’s hard to sleep.

We had a wonderful time. The hotel staff was very nice. The room was very clean. The beds were comfortable. It had great access to the beach. Highly recommend.

Lonnie was an extremely helpful asset...my girlfriend does teleheath And she made sure that I had everything she need to get started @6am central since she had an appointment that was 7am eastern she went out of her way to make the day easier...all this with a smile

Super thin walls..you can hear everyone and everything in this hotel. Definitely don’t plan on sleeping past 7 while on vacation, it won’t happen here. Also, the parking lot is very small and parking is tight. We woke up on the morning of checkout to the repair guys banging upstairs above us..so we decided to check out early. When we made it to the parking lot to leave, we were blocked in by the service trucks and trailers and they never offered to move..but rather help direct us in a 55-point turn to get out of the parking lot.

The property was meticulous and the location was great!

The hot tub was not working and a couple of staff workers were a bit snarky

Had a wonderful experience this memorial day week-end, had a lovely breakfast (Eddie was great), and the beach was just to die for, beautiful weather and the water was great! It was clearly very busy for the workers at the hotel but they were all very attentive to me and my husband. Lonnie was especially amazing and very kind, I truly felt appreciated and like I got the royal treatment! We'll be coming back again for sure, it was truly one of the best holiday experiences I've ever had.

Peace and Quiet

The location. All restaurants were a little drive from the Hotel.

beds were comfortable, the view was beautiful, beach was literally steps away. Breakfast was good- I really appreciated that they had Turkey Sausage. I would definitely stay here again.

Elevators need help! One would close on you as soon as it opened, we tried going down one time and when we got to the first floor the doors didn't open but it sent up back up then back down.. the other elevator was slow.. so slow.

Hotel is very old and needs a facelift/updated rooms especially the bathrooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful, couldn't do enough for you. The beach is wonderful and clean; the pool was very clean and well kept. Free breakfast was just ok, nothing special except for their cinnamon rolls were good. ocean front room we had was clean and comfortable, as I said the bathroom needs serious update. The room rate is not bad until to add three local taxes that adds 40.00 to the room rate, but the kicker is parking fee of 11.60??? Overall, the hotel is what it is an older hotel but clean, friendly and I would probably stay here again if traveling to gulf shores.

We have stayed at this location twice and have nothing but great things to say about our stay. The staff is incredibly friendly and ready to help. The breakfast rivals any breakfast restaurant on the main strip. The views from any of the rooms from 17 to 22 have a Gulf view. We watched several dolphins playing in the surf from our balcony. If you're comparing this to a condo, that's not a fair comparison. Each room is clean, spacious and quiet. We stayed during a basketball tournament and could not hear any noise from the adjacent rooms. Don't hesitate to stay here!

The hot water was not working during our stay. The pull out bed was in deplorable condition and the roller bed was very uncomfortable. The room was not that clean, a powerade bottle was not discarded prior to our arrival.

My mom and I had a great experience at Holiday Inn at Orange Beach. I gave 4 stars because the toilet was broken and the room wasn’t super clean. However, the excellent customer service made up for that. We want to give special mention to Dominique (custodial), Eddie (breakfast), and Sharhonda at the front desk. These workers consistently went above and beyond at making sure we had everything we needed. They were all super friendly and made our girls trip so very enjoyable and memorable. We will definitely come back and bring friends!! —I want to add that the toilet was fixed promptly— —And the ocean view from the balcony was amazing!

I was very disappointed in this location. We have stayed at many IHG hotels, and this by far was probably the worst. It is completely outdated and does not look anything like it does on these photos. The pool and hot tub area we're really just gross. We are diamond, elite or platinum, and they literally gave us a room facing someone else's parking lot. When I asked about it, I was told there were no more rooms waterside. Yet, we met a couple out near the pool who said they had just checked in, three or four hours after us, and they were given a waterfront room for an upgrade for free. They wanted to charge my husband a hundred dollars for the upgrade online. The entire hotel needs to be rehabbed. The walls are so thin in this place that you can hear everyone in the entire hallway in their own rooms. Somehow we got placed near the elevator, which I'll be sure to never do again, because it really sounded like they were literally standing in our room. Every time the elevator ran we could hear it and everybody getting in or out of it. So needless to say, we didn't get much sleep. As soon as we finally started to fall asleep, it sounded like someone was weed whacking outside of our room window. Come to find out it was the cleaner, and her outdated vacuum, that sounded just like a weed whacker.. She was down the hall cleaning another room.. The toilets barely flush and you have to hold down the lever forever. Well, unfortunately, our toilet overflowed. We called for a plunger and they brought it to us in a dirty bag with a rusty razor at the bottom. I can assure you we won't stay here again.
