The location was fantastic. The front staff were really nice but during check in. The room was clean.

Well to be honest, the front desk staff were talking way too fast for me to even understand what she was saying. There was a lot of information and I think giving ample time to explain would help. The breakfast was actually pretty bad compared to other Hilton hotels I’ve stayed at with the same name. There wasn’t a lot of different options. The cost didn’t seem to match the value in which I felt. The AC in the room didn’t work as well as I thought and made weird sounds all night. The pillows were thin. I guess I’m nitpicking, but again for the price, you kind of expect more.

The staff were warm and friendly. We arrived early and our room wasn't ready, but we were allowed to park and use the facilities until then. The rooms were exceptionally clean! We were beachfront and it was a lovely view!

The carpet was a little worn,but not enough to ruin the trip. The cleanliness made up for it.

The location was absolutely perfect right on the beach. The staff made us feel so welcome. Our room was immaculate and the staff was very helpful. We absolutely loved our stay !!!

It was conveniently located and the pool was decent.

The room we booked was supposed to be an ocean view balcony, our room wasnt ready at 4 so we waited an hour and it still wasnt ready at 5 so we had to settle for a lesser room just to be able to start relaxing. The desk agent comped us parking and other things to try and make up for the room situation but for the price it was pretty disappointing.

Property is in an excellent area , easy access to beach , restaurants, coffee shops , grocery store, and more. Staff were very friendly, attentive to your needs and caring. Hotel was very clean.

The hotel needs maintenance on hvac units in many rooms, other guest had no a/c . OurA/c was not working well either. The pillows and mattresses need replacing. Fencing needs replaced in pool area.

Free breakfast, jacuzzi, tiki bar, WiFi, and other amenities.

I wish that all the rooms had balconies.

Well it is pet friendly BUT when you have horrible fur baby parents that leave a dog ALL DAY long in the room that does nothing but bark, cry and wine then it is for a miserable stay.

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel and would not stay here again. My biggest concern was what I believe are unfair charging practices. I strongly recommend that anyone staying here take a video or photos when returning wristbands or any other hotel property. Despite returning our wristbands, we were later charged for them. If you return items at checkout, make sure you have proof, because in my experience, the hotel disputed that they had been returned. After the charges appeared, I repeatedly tried to speak with management. Liz, the manager, never returned my calls, and no one else in management followed up either. Liz is also the name of the person we returned our wristbands to. It was extremely frustrating to have additional charges placed on my account with no meaningful opportunity to resolve the issue. Another issue was the lack of transparency. I was not provided with a detailed receipt or itemized breakdown explaining all of the charges, making it difficult to understand exactly what I was being billed for. Even the parking charges that appeared after checkout did not seem to add up. If you book through a third-party website, be aware that a $15 parking fee may not be disclosed during the booking process. Finding out about additional fees after arrival or after checkout is not something I appreciated. There were also problems with the room itself. An animal was staying in the room above us on the 9th floor, and it urinated onto our balcony, making it unpleasant to use getting in ourselves and our items before realizing it was urine. This was an unexpected and unacceptable experience. What makes all of this especially disappointing is that we spent a significant amount on our stay and made a point of tipping housekeeping and the food service staff for their hard work. To then end up disputing charges for items we had returned left us feeling that we were treated unfairly and that our concerns were ignored. My advice to future guests is to document everything: take photos or videos when returning wristbands or other hotel property, review your credit card statement carefully after checkout, and ask for an itemized receipt before you leave. Based on my experience, doing so could save you a great deal of frustration. One star because the room was as advertised.

I like the location on the beach

The breakfast could be better. Nothing but waffles and carbs. The sides were not very tasty. I had just stayed at a Hilton in Mississippi and the breakfast was amazing so this was disappointing.

I got charged $275 for having a cigarette in my hand on the balcony that was not even lit. Other than that everything else is fine

The hotel over all was great, front desk was very friendly, main issue is I drove from Texas & while down there a tropical storm developed and was forecasted to hit the coast. I went with my 6 & 3 year old kids and based on weather decided to leave a day early to get back before any bad weather. Asked for a refund of the one night we didn't use and was denied because they didnt have a 24 hour notice, although the prediction center didn't even notify me until Sunday morning. I know going to the coast is a gamble with storms/hurricanes, but I'd of thought they would consider safety and the decision to leave early especially because my kids were with me. Over all good that was just disappointing.

The bathroom on the northwest corner on each level where the water from the shower head flooded on the floor. I spent minutes to mop and asked for extra towels to dry the floor; even, the customer above my room complained about water leak from my bathroom.

The bed, lack of room service, TV was slow, curtains mangled, no stairs to use to the rooms, elevators slow and only way to your room. My balcony door in first room was not the original lock I was told so I struggled getting it open and paid for beach front view. Was moved to another room after we unpacked everything. It was not the best option and the bed was horrible for My back and the pillows were flat. Then I was told I had to pay for parking after I arrived which was $15 a day. Then I was charged $10 more and when I asked about the transaction I was told it was a refundable fee if nothing was broken. Again none of that explained upfront prior to booking. Waiting to see if I get my $10 refunded to them. It was a struggle getting clean towels. My experience was not that great and because of that we checked out early.

Didn’t like the pool and hot tub it needs maintenance and painted. Also didn’t like our shower leaking the entire time and rusting the tub. Also didn’t like the air went out one night as well as no batteries working in the bath tub.

Breakfast too crowed. No where to sit. The staff for breakfast worked without gloves. The coffee was good.

More prompt cleaning. Staff with gloves and hair covering. I had to clean my own table getting paper towels and water from bathroom. The white pool concrete had black mold. First room had stopped up toilet. Had to have maintenance plunge and he said himself it was too sketchy and we moved to another room after I demanded that we be moved.

This property is beautiful and the location is excellent! All staff were very friendly and helpful also. The hotel itself is kept very clean and tidy. It sits directly on the beach with a walkway down to the sand. Adequate pool and patio with a bar on site is really nice. Drinks were pricey but everything is these days! The breakfast buffet was very nice with plenty of waffle machines, fresh fruit and bakery, yogurt and good coffee and juices. The only statement I'll make is that every day the same omelet was offered and would have been nice to change that up a bit. The room was clean and the beds were honestly some of the most comfortable I've slept on. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the ocean which was awesome! Perfect and the view was wonderful. TV was huge, with a frig and microwave, coffee maker also in the room. Really it was great with the only complaint being that it is so humid there that everything is kind of damp and a bit sticky (don't know that it is the hotel's fault on that- it's the seashore). Their exercise room is beautiful with machines taking advantage of looking out over the beach. Full laundry room also available. Parking is $15/day, but it is nice, covered parking. All access to the hotel is secure and must swipe your room card to enter any of the doors. Towels for the pool are to be checked out daily and returned by 10 pm or there is a fee. The location is very very good. The hotel is across the street from eateries and near a Starbucks, Walmart and pizza place. Easy walking to all. Would definitely stay here again! Oh and this hotel accepts dogs! Saw lots so that is really great!

Be aware that room cleaning is every other day which really is fine unless you got really dirty at the beach. Lobby is a pass through for many heading to the beach which is why I think it gets busy etc. Sun to pool is only in the am as the direction the pool is in the shade from about 1 pm on- not a negative unless you want to sun all day.

Our experience at this hotel was unfortunately disappointing. Initially, we were assigned a room where the refrigerator was not functioning and leaking on the floor, and the television was also not working. We were subsequently moved to a different room, but this room had its own issues: the telephone was inoperable, and the air conditioning was leaking onto the floor, resulting in a wet carpet area for our entire stay. Additionally, the water to the toilet had been turned off for some reason, and we had to restore it ourselves. Overall, we were quite dissatisfied with our stay at this hotel. While the beach access is excellent, the room issues significantly impacted our experience, for the price of this hotel and the issues we faced we would not recommend this property.

Room was excellent with the balcony. "Liz" who was at front desk was exceptionally helpful, kind and always with a smile.

I definitely did NOT like area for smoking. I am a smoker and the only designated area was at the front of the hotel with a bench on the street. There was no place to extinguish cigarettes, ashtray or anything. Therefore, there were many cigarette butts on the ground. I have been other places where there was a nice place to smoke and put out cigarettes. I expect better from this hotel.

Spent a lot of time sitting on the balcony.

The breakfast was outstanding the first two mornings. It was cold the third morning. The eggs, sausage, and potatoes were all cold. I should have said something but did not.

Breakfast over 7 days always had eggs (mini omelets ususally), some type of sausage, potatoes, cereals, waffles, boiled eggs, bread, fresh cut fruit and often yogurt. Location can't be beat, you walk out the back door, and onto Orange beach. Across the street was Publix, several restaurants and Walmart wasn't a far walk. Free parking, roomy parking garage. Always had variety of teas, hot chocolate and coffee in lobby. The king bed was comfy with a veritey of pilllows. Staff was very friendly and were always cleaning public bathrooms and main areas. Part of the outdoor pool was shaded and hot tub was shaded. Very pet friendly!

On weekends especially, it was very difficult using elevators (only one set) often had to wait a long time. The pet area is a small strip of grass in front of the hotel on the busy street-there was no other grass areas. The scrambled eggs (only served once) were inedible-I usually am ok with scrambled at most hotels. I wish there was a microwave in the breakfast area to heat up food (didn't want to go all the way to the room). Coffee was light roast.

Easy beach access

At the time of booking, it did NOT list that you had to pay $15 a day for parking. I only looked at options with free breakfast and free parking. We’ve even stayed here before, and parking was free. HOWEVER, upon checkout I saw that I was charged $75 unexpectedly. It now lists on booking.com that there’s a $15 a day parking fee, but this was NOT listed when I booked several weeks ago. We also requested 2 different times for an extra towel (4 guests and only 3 towels in the bathroom), and each time they said they’d have housekeeping bring one up, but no one ever did. Next year we’ll be staying elsewhere!

We just finished up a 3 night stay here. While the hotel was great the workers not so much. On our travels back home I got a notification that we were charged an additional $250. I called to inquire and the girl answered the phone, without asking my name or room number, said it was because we were smoking in the room. Initially I was shocked and said there must be a mistake because we do not smoke but she gave me attitude and argued with me telling me they have the pictures to prove it. We actually turned around to head back to the hotel because again we do not smoke and we absolutely wanted an explanation and to see these pictures of the alleged cigarette and vape in the trash can. She was rude and condescending. I get a phone call a bit later from the hotel from a different worker apologizing that they had made a mistake… it was in fact a different room ( after I clarified with the original worker multiple times my room number and there has to be a mix up) and that they had refunded the charge. Great. Yes mistakes happen. How they handle the situation is more the problem. Now no one will give me the girls name so I can file a complaint. She has a very distinct voice and I had already spoken to her during our stay.. black girl with lighter skin, nose ring and long curly hair with caramel highlights. I feel certain corporate can figure out who she is.

The free breakfast is the reason we chose this place to stay. It’s not worth it. They serve a hot breakfast but it wasn’t that good. They served cheese omelets one day, western omelets the second day. Finally they had scrambled eggs the third day which was good but then they had cheese omelets again. The omelets weren’t that good. They had roasted potatoes every day, sausage patties one day that are rubbery when you try to eat them. Chicken sausage the second day that was terrible and polish sausage the third day. Like I said the breakfast is free but they charge you $15.00 a day to park your car in their parking lot after paying $224.00 a day to rent the room. I wouldn’t stay there again.

That we had to go over payment and cards got mixed in your end even though I called many time to be sure ever was processed before the trip and if still was a issue when I Arrived and wasn’t told on the phone as much as I had called and the sheets were clean but it was hair behind pillows and around so I did wonder if it was really clean

Breakfast was luke warm and needs to be changed up. The carpet was filthy. I had to throw the socks away. We bought 2 pina coladas on different days with different bartenders. The price on my bill was different. Dirty at the bottom of the tub. Smoke detectors were filthy and the sprinkler system.

Usually don't complain but I paid to upgrade to a large oceanfront room for a special weekend and was disappointed that 2 out of 3 overhead lights weren't working when we walked in , the toilet roll holder was literally falling off the wall, the closet doors would barely slide open due to all the rust, and the A/C unit would keep running even after being turned off....down to 63 degrees!...if you tried to run the heat, it would run and run and go the other way... we'd have to keep balcony door open to keep from freezing or melting. The in room fridge froze all our drinks (no control inside). Wonder when maintenance last checked this room! Very stingy on room towels...had to request every day. We emptied our own trash. Beware of extra charges ..$10 per tiny beach towel if you don't bring it back to the lobby and sign it back in the book....parking is $15/day, beach chair rentals available through a third party, and make sure you return wristbands when you check out or those are $10 each (even though we were never told to return them). The hot tub has tons of MOLD around the edges....gross. For $500+/night? . Beds are average., room was clean. The upside is the beach is beautiful and you can walk right out, pool is (slightly) heated, and there are a lot of great restaurants in the area. Most of the staff are very helpful. The tiki bar is nice outside, with a great bartender!! Breakfast is just ok.... Highly recommend going to Sunliner Diner! Won't stay here again for that price....but Orange Beach is amazing. (And construction is going on next door so don't recommend that side for a room).

Large room, good breakfast, very friendly staff, excellent location. Beautiful beach, nice pool. Gulf Shores State Park nearby was gorgeous for walking, riding bikes.

Fitness center had no disinfecting wipes and the ellipticals squeak. Tub faucet dripped constantly. No disposable gloves or disinfectant for use at the breakfast bar.
