Love how family friendly it was. They was no hateful people staff was very polite

Everything was fantastic. Room was spacious and comfortable, all staff were friendly and helpful, location was great- close to everything we wanted to do. Had a wonderful pool and access to the beach from hotel. Definitely will be back.

The Guy Harvey resort was a great find and i got an excellent deal through my booking account. The property was in a great location just steps from the beach. They have a restaurant in the lobby that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner with an array of options. The hotel also offers beach rentals that they will set up for you. We had a slight smell in our original room and they were quick to move us hassle free. I really liked how the hotel was a stop for the historic trolley tour which is very convenient. The resort is pet friendly and it was so fun seeing all types of dogs throughout our time. Overall this hotel was a big win for our last minute getaway.

There are two elevators for the hotel (one on each end). They are very small but since they operate only between 5 floors, the wait isn’t too bad. You do have to walk through the pool area and then up/down the stairs to get to the beach. We saw many people struggling to get their beach wagons, coolers, etc up the stairs. I’m not sure if it’s just our room but the sink area was small and the sink height was tall. Whereas the toilet was super low to the ground. The beds were comfy but the pillows are small.

While the staff was pleasant, the resort itself appeared dated and could benefit from updates. The shower had mold along the bottom of the glass door, and the fabric covering the box spring beneath the bed was torn and hanging loose. We also did not realize the resort was pet-friendly. While we have no issue with pets, sharing a crowded elevator with several large dogs felt uncomfortable and raised some safety concerns. Parking was very tight for a full size truck.

The pool was great.

The place could use some sprucing up. We did not have guaranteed parking and could not find a nearby parking space one night. Our room had no couch or additional seating to set luggage on. And the partial beach view balcony needs to be described as having to lean over the rail which is dangerous to be able to see the beach.

It was on the beach! It was also secured. You had to use a key to enter the building. Someone was on duty at all times in case you needed help. We called for a broom because we broke one of our items and within five minutes someone was at the room with a broom!

One bed was not comfortable. The other one was great.

the entire floor smelled like everyone smoked a joint. my husband couldn't site on the balcony and smoke a cigar, but someone could sit in their room and smoke pot. also there was a huge cockroach in our room. gave me the massive creeps

The staff is so approachable and really want to make sure you are satisfied. We really enjoyed the music bingo while we had our dinner ! The beach is clean! The LOBBY is clean! There are outhouses on the beach as well, but unfortunately spaced far apart, for us we had to go back to our hotel room. We really enjoyed the music coming from the Tiki bar while lounging or swimming at the pool. Live music outside was also enjoyable! You definitely want to get ocean view if your staying here. I had partial and it wasn't exciting you look out your room into the parking lot and have to go out on the balcony and turn your head to left and now you have partial ocean view. I also would go 1st floor if I came back to this resort just for the convince of a bathroom. We had surf and turf bowl which was good and we also had a Poke bowl which was very, very good.

The hotel room bathrooms do not have adequate counter space. The ledge on wall beside the sink is tilted downward so unusable. The chairs in the hotel room are not comfortable . They are hard and left marks in my legs. The carpet felt tacky so I had to keep something on my feet all the time. Balcony is very small, when you sit in the chair you have about 12" until your knees hit the railing. Lobby bathrooms really nice. Outhouse is bathroom for the pool it is unisex, did not use went back to my room on 4th floor instead ,so not convenient. THE DRINKING WATER IS HORRIBLE! EVEN WITH FRUIT IN IT! So ended up buying water to drink. Our hands stayed tacky feeling no matter how many times you washed your hands and hand sanitizer would not get rid of it. When we left Saint Augustine our hands went back to normal feeling. The food disappointment was the hamburger came out very well done and dry and the collard greens were way tooo salty could not eat them. The first night eating here the Poke bowls and Surf and Turf were generously filled. The second night we only had about half as the first night. Our third night still about half the amount of food. So we let our waitress know and she came back with a side dish of more vegetables for the Poke bowl

The rooms were great. The restaurant was inconsistent as we asked for coffee one morning and they wouldn't give it to us. But while we were having our breakfast, they gave coffee to go to a patron.

See above. The tiki bar was not open late enough, but it was a great experience. And we loved the drinks!! We also enjoyed sitting outside when the weather permitted. It's very comfortable.

I didn’t like it at all. And neither did my grandkids. Says kid friendly that’s why I picked it. Had little flies in our bathroom the entire time. Dead bug of some sort underneath the bed. (Kids see everything) the room smelled funny. These things were brought to the attention of the front desk when I checked out a day early and took a loss in many ways.

Like I said up there I did not like the place at all.

The Resort greeted us with enthusiasm and generosity. The staff is Great and Managment leads the way. Now the food & service EXCELLENT !!!

That the two buildings were not connected....

Doors did not keep noise out and for some reason people tended to congregate out in the halls.

This is one of the best resorts I’ve stayed at. The location was perfect. The staff are amazing and always helpful. The accommodations were great. The bed was extremely comfortable the room was very clean. The restaurant and bar inside the lobby was perfect for the evenings we wanted to stay in and the pool and tiki bar was great.

Floors in our room were dirty. The property is not a resort by any stretch of the imagination. Very noisy person in room next to us and when we told.front desk about it they were of no help. My room did not get cleaned daily like they said. I had to empty trash and get fresh towels.etc. from house keeping.

Had a Keurig type coffee maker in room. But no free bottled water provided for use? Thought that was standard these days.

I liked the bunk beds and small room divider . The accessible pool , ease of beach access. The staff are nice. Only thing annoying is that people are allowed to smoke at the sitting area near the restaurant and hotel, near the pool are .. absolutely disgusting! Can’t enjoy the fresh outdoor beach air and have to practically run while holding your breath to get past it. Wish that was different :(

It has easy beach access and it has an accessible pool lift. Rooms are nice and the staff is nice and helpful.

People are allowed to smoke right outside in the sitting area and it just ruins the walk around the place! Would be nice to have free coffee in the lobby . Otherwise it’s nice.

Not impressed with the bartender at the Tiki Bar. (Unsocial) Bar should be stocked with lime, lemon etc. to garnish drinks. Drinks are overpriced and tasted awful. Two sips and into the trash mine went. A waste of $10

I thought the access to the pool was a bit odd - but it wasn’t a big deal - thought the band at the pool was a bit loud

Excellent location with beach access close to historic St Augustine. Enjoyable pool with Tiki bar, beach chair/umbrella rentals and pool towels. Next time I’ll upgrade to a room facing the beach. Will definitely return.

You need grab bars in the shower and chair height toilets it felt like I was sitting on the floor. I’m 93 and it’s hard to get up

The pool seemed a bit small for the size of the hotel. It was very full most of the time.

Room was a little far, but neat and clean. Breakfast is not included, but there is a bar and restaurant located within the premises (no room service through). The property has easy beach access and towels available at the pool if you need to go to the beach. They were kind enough to allow us a late checkout.

If the hotel and restaurant are owned by the same property owner, then at least the breakfast should be part of the package.

I like how close to the beach and pool it is, and its not out of the way of everything else to do thats offered in the area. It is close to all amenities and stores you may need

The only complaint I have is that some of our pillows seemed worn out and weren't very comfortable. They were flat and some were became flat once you laid on them. I will bring my own pillows next time.

The property was beautiful. There were outdoor and indoor gathering spaces. There was a store and restaurant in the lobby area. We really enjoyed just hanging out.

The access to the pool and beach is why we came.

The room was damp and it smelled because of the damp conditions. The air conditioner made it very cold so there wasn't a happy medium to be achieved. We actually squished on the ceramic wood tiled floors when wearing sneakers. The toilets are too low and the bathroom space is way too small. When you have four people in the room it is not easy to store toiletries there.

One thing I can not understand. We booked a room with a balcony because we do smoke. No were did it say it was smoke free. The issue we had was all the dogs. Some people are highly allergic to dogs.There is no way that you will get the dog smell or the dander out from the carpet or beds even if you steam clean the room afterwards, which is highly unlikely. Yet it is a $250.00 fine of you smoke on the balcony!!!

That there is carpet in the rooms even with all the dogs you allow. Hard to keep that sanitary like other flooring types. Also that non paying guest can flood the parking lot so paying guest have no where to park and it was frustrating. The pool was so crowded with folks that were not guest that there was no room anywhere and we had to go back to the room.

We loved the proximity to the beach and the friendliness of the front desk staff.

The noise from the hallways was too audible inside the rooms. All rooms have adjoining rooms and sound could be heard too clearly - especially when the couple next door started fighting at 1:30 AM (and then making up at 3 AM). We woke up to doors and feet in the hallway each morning.

The staff was excellent, very pleasant and helpful. The facilities ere clean, easily accessible.

When you walk in, you are greeted by an enthusiastic, most helpful staff. The lobby is inviting with an absolutely great restaurant for any or all meals!. There's shopping for all ages and comfortable cool lounge area. The pool is refreshing and the beach is right there! You can absolutely stick your toe into the Atlantic Ocean. Bonus: The Hop-on Hop-off tour picks you up at the hotel and shuttles you to the Historic St. Augustine district.

The bottom of our bathroom door had water damage and it was distracting. It degrades the comfortable, clean room.

The staff was very nice and helpful. Housekeeping was great about restocking our coffee when we needed it. The beds were comfortable. The front desk assistant's were great also. The sunrise was an awesome view to see. I sent in a photo. We stayed in a room that had a partial view of the ocean and it was still beautiful. Next year we are booking an oceanfront view room.

I really wish that the boardwalk way to the beach was longer , like all the way to the roped off area , to make it easier for the people that have health issues like myself to get to the beach faster and easier.

The fact that they didn't want to give you extra towels the fact that I asked for a balcony room when I booked this and get there and I'm in a standard room for nearly $200 a night while they have coffee in the room they do not have a reception area with coffee and the walk was way too far from the front desk to the rooms and limited luggage carriers parking was horrible
