This hotel has everything including an absolutely beautiful, huge pool and cabana staff to get you a drink! Very nice clean facility inside. The rooms are very large and our "partial" view of the beach from our balcony was exceptional.

The parking ... $44 per day (really?!) for an underground parking lot that we really could have easily done ourselves. In addition to an already hefty resort fee. And they suggested we tip the valets $7 per car retrieval. 🙄 Yeah ... right. So what was the $44 per day for, if not for the staff? This property is right on a busy road so be careful where your room faces. It could be noisy on the street side.

I didn’t get to experience breakfast or anything else on my stay. The power was out the entire time, my family and I was hot and in the dark due to the weather my entire stay. No wi fi, pitch dark… worst experience ever. Side note I do realize this was an unfortunate situation.

I fell and hurt myself on the last night when I was on the beach deck near the gate taking a picture and I tripped on the step that is raised and went down on my knee and slammed my shoulder into the wood post and rail . The raised area is something they need to look into it’s a problem waiting to happen.

We loved the happy hour and breakfast. Plenty of tables and chairs.

Same snacks at happy hour all 3 nights. I know this is a dog friendly hotel, but the smells in the hallways were bad.

Middle of the night wake up call by fire alarm issue at 3 am

Our company hosted an event at the Embassy Suites. The staff who worked the day of the event were incredible. Everyone from valet, to the wait staff, to Janet who was cleaning the bathrooms were amazing. The service, attention to detail, energy, kindness, and smiling faces of everyone didn't go unnoticed. Our team was blown away by the service we received. They made the event a wonderful experience for our guests. The valets who unloaded/loaded all the equipment for me were a huge help and I can't thank them enough. I was completely impressed by everyone involved in making it a great day!

The pool closes at which is to early for me and also the kids play area closes around 8 as well. Seems like most places hotels the pool closes probably 10. For the expense of the room i feel they should stay open later for things to do.

St. Augustine Ocean Front Hotel. I used to think the an Embassy Suites was a middle of the road hotel. I was so wrong. The rooms were well kept and the staff was super polite, especially Janet. The food at the restaurant was excellent and was a very fair price. The atmosphere was great because of being on the beach.

I did not like the way my car was handled by the valet's. While waiting for my car to go out to dinner they were racing around the parking garage and almost ran into each other.

Need more hooks in the bathroom! Where hang bathing suits? Also, “dress code” to be in the building: we’re at the beach. No one is putting on resort wear just to go to the bathroom. (Thank you for not enforcing that!) Really didn’t need the “living room space”. I know; it’s a suite. I wish there were room options that minimized that part.

Excellent hotel. Rooms are very spacious. Staff were very helpful, especially the valet guys. There is a washing machine and dryer on each floor. About $1.75 per load. The complimentary breakfast is basic but sufficient. The pool is great, right next to the beach. Rooms have the basic amenities. Location - good for the beach. The restaurant opposite, Salt Life Shack is good. For sightseeing downtown, it’s about a 10-15 min drive. Note - it’s a pet friendly hotel. Someone must have left their dog in the room, we could hear it barking non-stop.

Location and breach frontage were good.

Our stay was disappointing due to the room not matching what was advertised, unexpected additional costs, and the poor response from staff when we raised our concerns. The room configuration was misrepresented. Based on the photos and description, we reasonably expected a room with one king bed and two single beds. Instead, the room contained one king bed and a pull-out sofa. When we asked whether a rollaway bed could be provided for our second child, we were advised this was not permitted. For a family staying for an extended period, this made the accommodation uncomfortable and unsuitable. The room amenities were also misleading. The photos showed room was equipped for an apartment-style or self-contained stay. In reality, while there was a microwave and a small bar fridge, there were no basic items such as plates, bowls, cutlery, glasses or mugs, making it impossible to prepare or even eat simple meals in the room. This was particularly inconvenient for a family travelling with young children. Also, the bar fridge was not functioning properly. We had to request assistance several times before anyone attended to it, despite it being an essential amenity for storing food and drinks. Another significant disappointment was the parking. The hotel only offered valet parking at a cost of us $42 per day which came as an unwelcome surprise. Not only did this add a substantial unexpected cost to our stay, but retrieving the car regularly took around 30 minutes, making it frustrating and inconvenient whenever we wanted to explore the island or head out for the day. Check-in was also a very poor experience. We were informed that the hotel required a USD $400 per day security deposit. For a 10-night stay, this amounted to USD $4,000, which we felt was completely unreasonable and placed an unnecessary financial burden on guests. After raising our concerns and spending approximately 45 minutes at reception, with three different staff involved this was reduced to $100 perday

This place is absolutely incredible. Beautiful hotel with an excellent pool, food, valet service, comfortable and clean rooms, perfect beach access, entertainment, super amazing staff and more. I will never stay anywhere else in St. Augustine.

The oceanfront wasn’t “oceanfront “ it was more overview off in a corner. I also didn’t like the bathrooms were not updated as pictured - no standup shower it’s a tub :-( !

Arrived and the valet directed me exactly where to pull up to unload (self parking is not an option). The valet opened my door, bouncing it nicely off the concrete barrier next to which he had just directed me to stop. Got to our room and noticed a puddle of water on the floor in front of the fridge. The cleaning person either sheds pubes or just didn't clean the room (given the state of the fridge, I would guess this room hadn't been attended to prior to our arrival). I asked the front desk for a new room and he said none were available. He offered to have someone come look at the minifridge and clean up the water, but at 10pm, I told him I would just throw a towel on it.

There were many places to relax and very well maintained. Very hospitable, staff were very kind.

In the photos the pool looks bigger than what it really is. It was misleading.

The Staff Was incredible especially Stanley and Netina Fronm the front desk Made my Wife and I feel very welcomed and made some nice arraingements for our 30th anniversary. The pool was great and the hotel resturant one of the best meals I had all week. The sunrise Grill good food and customer service. The salt life good food and service. Dont eat at crabbys.

The only dislike from the week long trip was that our room did not have a dresser or anything other than a very small closet to put our clothes. We Had to live out of our suitcases, very unexpected for this type of hotel. I would have expected some sort of storage

Unfortunately we only were overnighting so hard to judge it entirely. But from arrival which was very late to departure the staff were lovely, breakfast was wonderful and the valet parking was great.

Room was not oceanview as shown when I booked online. They could not offer oceanview when we got there. Pool closed earlier than other hotels (at sunset). Had to pay for parking.

The location, rooms and amenities were wonderful!

The check in staff worked quickly, but left us with some unanswered questions regarding using WiFi. It took a process and some trial and error to figure it out.

Location and amenities were nice. Hotel was beautiful and restaurant was good.

They force Valet parking on you, which I didn't care for because it made unloading rushed and created a bottleneck. The booking did not advertise that valet parking wasn't optional, nor did they advertise the additional $42 valet fee that the hotel charges you at checkout for something you didn't even want.

While it pains me to write a negative review on this property, I felt that I had no choice. We have stayed at the Embassy Suites several times in the past and we do love the location of the hotel, the pool, access to the beach, and that it is pet friendly! The big negative for us was the cleanliness. Our room was dirty when we checked in. It looked like they made the beds and didn’t bother to clean the rest of the room? There was dirt and hair all over the floor, especially in the bathroom.. the trash bags were not in the bins (they were put underneath?), and there was leftover food all piled up in the refrigerator. It was late at night and we had groceries to put away.. so I cleaned out the refrigerator myself. We knew it was 4th of July weekend and the rooms were sold out, so there was no point in complaining. One time I used the restroom on the first floor waiting for valet, and noticed how dirty the bathrooms were there too. Dirt all built up in the corners.. which tells me overall, it’s lazy cleaning. This is not what I expect from Embassy Suites at all! I really hope they read this and make changes for the sake of the hotel. The hotel really gets you on fees. Resort fee $42 a day… Valet (no self-parking) $40 a day.. and a one-time pet fee $75. It really adds up. We paid almost $2300 for 3 nights. Basically over $700 a night! And we got a dirty room. Our room 284 was also a really long walk from the elevator. Anybody with a disability would have trouble walking so far. We had to take the stairs every time since it was closer. I will say the staff working at the pool and bar were all so friendly and accommodating! The hotel has glimmers of greatness.. they just need to step it up on the cleaning.

What a difference! After a very disappointing experience at another smaller Hilton property nearby, I contacted Hilton Honors customer service, and they took exceptional care of us. They quickly canceled our remaining stay at the other hotel without any hassle and relocated us to Embassy Suites St. Augustine Beach. The process was seamless, and we couldn't have been more grateful. From the moment we arrived, the experience was outstanding. The staff was welcoming, professional, and genuinely seemed happy to have us there. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the amenities were fantastic. We especially enjoyed the beautiful beach access, the pool area, the complimentary breakfast, and all the available activities. Everything felt organized, well-run, and focused on providing a great guest experience. After the challenges we experienced at the previous hotel, this stay completely turned our vacation around. We only wish we had known about Embassy Suites sooner and had stayed here from the beginning. This hotel exceeded our expectations, and we absolutely plan to stay here again on our next trip to Florida. Thank you to both the wonderful team at Embassy Suites St. Augustine Beach and to Hilton for making a difficult situation right. This is exactly the kind of customer service that builds loyal customers.

We loved the location of our patio room! We had very good access to all the amenities. My husband loved the free drinks during happy hour. We also enjoyed the food from the resort as well.

Hated that the pool closed so early. It felt like you had no time to use it once you ate dinner and returned to the hotel.

Great location at the end of a public beach, next to a nature reserve. Perfect for Long Beach walks. Two room suites were spacious and beds were comfortable. The only odd feature was - no dressers!! Absolutely no drawers for clothes. Small closet to hang things but you are living out of suitcases on the floor. One luggage rack. Very inconvenient Hotel is perfect for families. Huge free breakfast. Well run and well staffed. Huge pool. Kids activities. Plenty of pool chairs. Hotel is also pet friendly, so lots of dogs. Free beach chair set up, but ends early about 5:00. Happy hour is crowded but fun. Fire pits and conversation areas are nice too But if you are looking for a quiet vacation, without kids. This is not for you. If you are looking for a place for an extended family vacation, this works well. Great restaurants within walking distance Extra charges - valet only parking at $46 per day was outrageous, as was the constant text requests for tips every time you got your car. Beaches umbrellas were extra too. And a ‘resort fee’ is added as well.

Made reservation for 6/13. 40th wedding anniversary. Drove almost 2 hours only to get there and be told Hilton made a mistake and they were sorry. No room! "Would I like some points?" Called Hilton 3 times to try to make a complaint only to told the manager wasn't in or was too busy. Very poor customer service!

Really wanted to give this a much better review but you get what you give. LOCATION- amazing, 10 stars if I could. STAFF- polite, not very knowledgeable and very under trained, not very fast (except for Amy at front Desk, she was absolutely amazing) Management- if you complain to them they will get you what you want, I saw it multiple times! Like when I told one of the pool attendants that the entry of the pool was dangerously slippery after my son fell, and they didn't do anything about it until a child slipped and busted her chin in almost the same exact spot. Rooms- bed comfort was not possible, maybe just me, but they were the worst of any hotel bed i have ever stayed at. Room cleanliness was minimal at best for every single day that we stayed there, the pull out coach and bed all had all kinds of stains on them that I took pictures of. Breakfast and Dinner- No breakfast options made available for non pork eaters, not until I asked the for the third time was it finally made available to us on the third day of our stay. Dinner prices are ridiculous, the Filet Mignon was $56 with less taste of the one you get at Longhorns just a couple minutes down the street! Safety- it was actually pretty scary how free people were to walk in and out of the hotel either from the street or public beach into the pool without anyone even looking.

We liked it so much here that we rearranged our plans to include the Embassy Suites St Augustine on our return from our cruise next week. The pool was fantastic and the beach is phenomenal. Breakfast was great, and we did not have to wait for anything. The laundry facilities were convenient and cost $1.75 to wash a load and $1.50 to dry it. You need quarters. The valet, Chris, helped us with our bags and the people at the front desk welcomed us with a smile. I would recommend that pool towels be distributed similarly to cruise ships, as the pool cards were a bit disorganized. However, in our opinion the hotel was every bit the restful resort we hoped for.

Very Overpriced hotel for embassy suites-- Not only are the room rates on price with 5 star resort but there's a DAILY RESORT FEE, Lots of taxes & $40 a NIGHT TO PARK per car even when paying these high rates and bogus resort fees for the hotel - find this very price gouging their own Hilton guests- NOT a good look HILTON! Hotel with screaming kids so not a couples paradise which is fine with us -With so many families the breakfast always had very long lines everyday --by time I got my omelette the rest of my food was cold-they need more chefs for cooked eggs!!! NEED TO HAVE LONGER HOURS for BREAKFAST during Summer months to accommodate all the families! Instead right at 10 am the breakfast people stop everything no matter what! BREAKFAST SHOULD BE TO 11 AM to accommodate so many guests and because its vacation!! WHY NOT LEAVE COFFEE AND TEA out ALL DAY??? Hampton brands do I would expect this expensive Embassy to leave it out all day too- very disappointing when they definitely have the space & for the prices and one of few resorts in Florida to charge RESORT FEE - so leave fresh coffee and water out all day for amenity and if charging for parking how about a nominal fee - $40 is ridiculous esp when paying for resort fee shouldn't that cover it at least? Im 59 years old yet they asked for ID for drink at the happy house- Im at pool come in for the lousy two drink minimum and asked for ID and doesnt matter key card or bracelet - come on some common sense bartenders I dont look anywhere near 21 or I"d be rich!! Also HAPPY HOUR needs to be TWO HOURS as its so very crowded once again and long lines to get a small drink- apps used to be nicer but now just goldfish or crackers. Live music is so nice though on patio during HH! Pool should stay open later into evening with so many families - during the day it's very very crowded and very shallow so no swimming just standing in pool. Hot tub should also be open into evening as too hot to use it during day! Music needs to be louder and more lively! Pool bar is really nice however their daiquiris are all premade NOT FRESH for the high price it taste like kool aid so sweet and very weak. Frozen drinks just way too sweet or we would have had many more and very expensive for what you get! Food is good but need more variety and is also expensive by the pool. If your on the other side of the hotel expect very long walk to elevators and long waits on elevator. THeres only one bank of elevators and guess they forgot the other side of the hotel!! A nice embassy suites but no where near a 5 star like their prices reflect - need housekeeping daily (which we didn't get) expect a better fitness center, dont overcharge guests for parking, longer breakfast hours with additional chefs for egg station - longer happy. hour - and LEAVE COFFEE OUT ALL DAY!!! If Embassy Suites Hilton St Augustine Beach wants to act like 5 star with these prices then give 5 star service and amenities yet that is not what you get here. Sad cause it's a great location directly on the beach but felt overcharged and lack of service and amenities at this resort.

First time visiting this hotel. It's been on my list for a few years, and finally checked it out. We loved the relaxed atmosphere & amenities. Staff was pleasant, and the kids activities during the day were nice too. Plenty of hang out areas, and felt safe enough for kids to run around alone. Room was nice, but the only down side was the pillows were so flat. They could use a revamp! We asked for more but they were still so dull.

Shout out to employee Janet.....cleaner extraordinaire. She keeps the lobby and bathrooms very clean. Plus, she is very nice and happy to chat with guests.

I visit the Embassy Suites St Augustine Beach once a week with local running club friends. We run in the area, then stop at Starbucks on site and enjoy coffee in the beautiful Embassy Suites lobby. We are greeted regularly by Janet, one of the employees responsible for cleaning the lobby. Janet does a fantastic job and she always greets us with a smile & kind words. Thank you, Janet!

The rooms were clean and my young children loved the pool. The staff were both friendly and helpful.

Stayed 2 nights in this hotel for a conference and this hotel was great. The location on the beach was nice, and it was a nice, easy walk to the beach. The hotel has a really good-sized pool area facing the ocean with food and drink available. The meeting space was perfect for our conference, and everything was professionally done. The rooms were very spacious and clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel if staying in the St. Augustine Beach area.

ABSOLUTELY love this place. We try to get here as often as we can. This place is very family friendly but also very couples oriented. It’s set directly on the beach. The aesthetics are beautiful. As much as we love it here because of the great Florida weather and the beautiful beach views the main reason we ALWAYS return is because of the wonderful employees. The breakfast crew is second to none. We look forward to seeing Daryl and Michael at every visit. These two gentlemen and i mean GENTLEMEN are the absolute BEST! They are so inviting and hard working. They remember us EVERY TIME!!!!! Thank you for all you do. Looking forward to seeing you soon. p.s Daryl…….. GO COWBOYS!!!!!

Everyone was polite and would assist you with anything needed. Wendy greeted me every morning at breakfast and was super helpful. She was a pleasure to speak with. Definetly would come back to this resort again and again!

We are locals and frequently visit to enjoy the Starbucks. The staff is extremely kind. Recently Janet made our stay enjoyable with sweet conversation while she was petting our dog. It is nice to feel at home.

Balcony chairs insanely uncomfortable. Bed is ok but not great. No crowd/noise control. There was a wedding party there and they kept us up all hours of the night both nights we were there.

Room was a connecting room which means the balcony had zero privacy and the walls seemed paper thin. Air-conditioning was set to 75 upon arrival which was comfortable but we set it to 72 and it never reached that temperature over 24hrs.

I’m super picky when it comes to beach resorts. I have yet to find a resort in Florida that compares to those in the Caribbean (St. Barths, Antiqua, Vieques, etc.) - I have FINALLY found that resort and it is here at the Embassy Suites in St. Augustine. Beautiful accomodations. Pool and Pool Service were stellar. Walks on the private beach - fishing off the pier - short car ride to historic downtown. Loved sitting on the balcony of my room watching the sunrise and sunset. I was NOT EXPECTING the levels of excellence provided by the entire staff. Fabio greeted us and took good care of us. Breakfasts are phenomenal and be sure to seek out Wendy D. (Server) - she was the best tour guide and gave us stellar recommendations as one of the days was rainy. Giuseppi was a riot at the front desk and was super helpful. I travel over 200 days a year for business and pleasure - by far this takes the cake as an OUTSTANDING beachfront resort - will be back again and again for sure. Also the property is very dog friendly.

Have been here multiple times for day passes to enjoy the pool and have never been hassled for wristbands or anything else. However, today was a completely different story. Just a couple weeks ago day passes passes were inexpensive. Cut to today and now it’s through a third-party and $95 a person. Also, the people working were extremely rude, which is a first at this establishment in my experience. Communication between their valet staff and their front desk about the process to get a day pass is completely uncommunicated between the parties. Very disappointing from a locals perspective. It was a huge selling point to be able to go saddle up to the bar have a few drinks and enjoy a pool for the day. Been planning a staycation here and now, don’t even want to. Absolutely disappointing and as Hilton Honors members completely dissatisfying.

Great location if you want a long flat beach to walk. The hotel was clean and workers such as Janet made an extra effort to meet all our needs. Great breakfast too! Can't wait to go back.

We love this resort. It was our fourth year staying here for spring break. The service is amazing and both the Cantina and Hook and Reel have excellent food and service. A special shout out is due to Tory, Hunter, Katie, Analiza, and McKenna!

This was our 5th staying at the hotel for my kids school Spring Break. We had loved this hotel for the consistent experience and family friendly atmosphere. Unfortunately this stay missed the mark. Common areas are showing signs of disrepair. The pool heater clearly was either not working or was set far too low. When I messaged through the app asking what the temperature was supposed to be set at and reporting the issue, I was just told it was on. When checking in our room was not ready at checkin and when I asked an ETA was not given one. I had groceries delivered 15 mins after check in that needed refrigerator and when I asked if they could take them and refrigerate was directed towards valet who only offered to place them in their luggage room. Hotel Manager ended up giving us a gift card to their restaurant as a make up which was nice but staff whom I dealt with prior did little to make the situation right. Cushions and furniture on their formerly wonderful patio area was heavily worn and in need of replacing. Turf areas had trash on them that wasn’t cleaned daily. Breakfast was great and consistent with other Embassy Suites experiences. You now need towel cards for the pool area which made me feel like I was at a Holiday Inn. After 5 years of visiting we would need to see significant recommitment to maintaining the property before returning. I really hope they can improve this property because it was a gem.

Ultimately I would not stay here again. The entire hotel, including the hallways and rooms, reeks of chlorine. I did notice the housekeeping leaving piles of pool towels on the hallway floor today so I guess that explains that a bit. It’s noticeable when entering the room. The hotel is billed as a resort and has a corresponding fee. However it doesn’t have the services other Hilton resorts have. There are beach chairs and umbrellas with service 8-5 but they are sit up chairs not loungers. Other Hilton resorts will bring food to you on the beach. They do have a poolside food option and they also have poolside cabanas but not beach cabanas. No additional resort services such as spa. The pool is not as luxury as other Hilton resorts I have stayed at with infinity oceanfront pools for example. The biggest thing you should know is that it feels one step away from Great Wolf Lodge. Kids roaming in packs everywhere. Parents not supervising. The hotel makes an E shape facing the pool and you need to be on the outside top or bottom of the E unless you want to hear kids screaming past 9:30 pm every night. I am including pictures of my “partial ocean view” room which was on the outside top of the E (odd low 200s). It’s apparently a turtle preserve. The full ocean view rooms appear to be on the edges of the E ends and are oversized corner rooms. The balcony chairs did not recline or have padding. The breakfast met standards for Embassy suites. It is 7-10ish. Multiple hot options and fresh cut fruit. Happy hour was good but always a line. Shower has a metal plate in it so it sounds like Beethoven when washing your hair lol. The outdoor fire pit areas were delightful. This location is top notch but like I said because of the permeating pool smell and kid packs roaming I would not stay again. Room was clean (other than chlorine smell and coffee?? stain on boxspring..) and pest free. Suite layout was good. Bathroom is between living room and bedroom. Balcony off bedroom. Did not receive housekeeping service one day. Staff was polite.

when we checked in we were given no information about the area ie what there is to do and places to visit we were just handed a map . The Breakfast area was dark there were 2 large open black bins that food was scrapped into by the drinks and toasting machine which was not something I would expect in a 4 star hotel and quite frankly not pleasant to see . The rooms are ok although one day ours was only half cleaned leaving the bed unmade and bins not emptied

Ambiance, location, views, decor, restaurant, poolside bar, beach amenities. Staff was great. Restaurant dinner was OUTSTANDING (we were a little surprised!).

No clothing storage. Seriously. The closet with hangers is barely 20" wide, and there's no dresser or drawers anywhere to put your clothes in. I asked, and it wasn't an oversight, it's intentional in the design. In a suites hotel, that's NUTS. The staff brought us a small 36wx30H three drawer dresser because 4 adults shouldn't be living out of their suitcases on the floors.

Beach front. Property was clean.

Valet parking. Not worth it. Also not as seemless and expensive for no reason especially since I didn’t have another choice.

I had dinner tonight at Harvest & Reel at the Embassy Suites, and it was a great experience. The food was delicious and the ocean view from the hotel is absolutely beautiful. I also want to highlight the valet parking service, especially Fabio. His professionalism and friendly personality — along with his funny accent — made the experience even better. Highly recommend this place!
