HotSpot @ City Centre by SSVC

Asin, the receptionist was a fantastic girl. Really loved her vibes as she was extremely great helping us out. We had a few issues with the 1st room allotted to us, as the aircon won’t work, immediately she offered us a technician to come over and have a look at the room. However, as he was unavailable she changed our room. The changed room had a shower handle issue where it was broken (operational but broken). When bought to her attention she just upgraded us to the other room for the second day. -We had water given and also they had water refill station. -Location is great, everything is walking distance. -7/11 bang opposition -Laundry is wall touching, basically next door named HotSpot itself

Mentioned above already. Rooms can have technician sent and fix all the odd jobs at once as the property location and staff is ultimate

Wir sind nachts angekommen und haben ein schmutziges Zimmer vorgefunden. Haarknäuel, Wasser auf dem Fussboden im Bad, Beschädigung an der Wand. Wir haben das Hotel gewechselt, später gab es keine Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter. Unsere Beschwerde und dir Rückforderung der Miete war ihm egal. Absolut nicht empfehlenswert, vorallem entsprechen die Fotos nicht der Wahrheit.

It's not as luxury and clean as the photos seem, it's a tad tired and not the cleanest. The main issue I had was the smell, it had a dreadful smell from the bathroom and also possibly the AC unit. Could do with a deep clean and some attention to the drains then it'd be perfect. Be prepared for a long hike up stairs with luggage also.

It’s central and at ten minutes walking from the main streets and markets. Easy check in and check out, and in front of a seven eleven and many other markets if you need something quickly.

The photos are a little bit different from the reality. The place is a little ruined and the photos are showing a really new place. So can be a little misleading if you think about staying in a brand new apartment. But in the end it’s ok not fantastic but neither ugly. I would say that if four people with luggages decide to stay here the room would be quite small.

Inexpensive, clean and location is convenient. Staff is available via messaging and I think they'll come quickly if needed. There is a water cooler with drinking water (less need for plastic!)

The place was beautiful, clean, and perfectly located close to everything. The staff were very friendly, and the service was excellent throughout our stay.

The room was spacious and comfortable.

The entrance leading up to the room is a bit narrow, but can walk through. Theres also no lift, only stairs. I dont mind that. The price was worth it and the rooms are comfortable.

The pillows were cleaned, not smelly. The water pressure was excellent, the heater worked well and i love the new microwave. The hair dryer functioned very well and the location is superb, self laundry just downstair and easy to move around by walking distance

I booked the family rooms which are really big and comfortable. I love the bed, it was cozy. Everything is nice and perfectly prepared. The staff were friendly and helpful. The check in process was also easy and the staff gave great instruction. It's a great place for a family like me who has small kids and needs a big place to stay together.

Everything is good. Only the weather is out of the blue. Can't go anywhere due to heavy rain, flood and landslides. But it was not the hotel's fault. Would love to stay here again. Thumbs up..

Mucho ruido 24/7. Las camas bastante incómodas. En general poco espacio y no muy limpio. La puerta de la habitación daba poca seguridad en cuanto a robos.

Difficult to find in the dark and taxi driver couldn’t find a. Very narrow entrance with people hanging about on the bench by reception.

Premier point noir le bruit, même après un changement de chambre, les appartements ne sont quasiment pas insonorisés. Tous les équipements sont vieux et parfois dysfonctionnels comme le pommeau de douche qui fuit, la peinture écaillée, un manque de propreté. Aucun nettoyage ou changement de serviette n’ont été effectué durant notre séjour. Le bâtiment est plutôt délabré, et l’accès au chambre mal présenté. Les photos sont vraiment trompeuses et la note de Booking encore plus, ne mérite pas plus de 6/10.

Location and price point is great. Rooms were clean and comfortable, AC worked well. Staff were really friendly too and let us leave our luggage whilst we went on a trip to Brunei. We stayed three times in the end!

No elevator so be prepped to carry your luggage up! In one of the room types the beds are mattresses on the floor, was a bit uncomfortable at times. We stayed in a different room type and the bed was perfect tho

It was at a very good location and very central and the building was in pretty decent shape, as well. The bathroom was to my liking. There was a fridge. Bed was comfy enough.

I wish there was a place to work on my laptop.

Great location in KK, self laundry service next door and 7/11 across the street. Large spacious flat which felt very homey, with sofa and TV set up. Self check in and out service was explained very over WhatsApp making the process of checking in much easier. Staff often around if you need them for anything

位置非常非常难找，我第四次来亚庇了。第一次出门吃东西半小时都没找回来。大门只有一个人没啥标志，根本找不到。而且。。。不能放行李 不能延迟退房

Cheap, big and tidy room

No elevator, position is close to city centre but at night it's a bit sketchy, you may be approached by prostitutes or clochards but it's quite common sadly

Staff were friendly and attentive.. Room was very small bedding was clean but old. Inexpensive for the budget concious and fairly well located to the harbour.

Property is well past it's prime. No eleveator, not an issue for us but may be for others. Room was very small and furnishings well worn. Horrible smell of sewer gas in the bathroom that would not go away..

Awesome location, plenty of shops around, and it's close to a self-service laundry. Staff were super helpful and nice.

The AC in Room 204 wasn't cool enough, and there's no lift, so carrying bags upstairs was a bit of a workout.
