A beautiful garden cottage in a peaceful setting. Very neatly kept and well maintained. Lovely patio in the garden for lazy mornings

Had a lovely patio, where we could eat supper. We didn’t use the kitchen or braai facilities as our stay was very short, but will use it again whenever we need to be in UMhlanga. A small private Garden was fenced so a good doggie friendly spot I am sure.

Room was very nice. Very nice hostess. Our fur babies were very happy there

The bed was a bit small for a big person...

The Lazy Lizard is superb , outside the busy hub but close enough. So peaceful and lovely hosts Chris and Wendy they were so helpful. The place is beautiful , I like their well maintained garden

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The little patio outside the room was delightful for morning tea, and the kitchen had all the basics we needed. Wendy and Chris were extremely helpful when we had a minor issue with the button for the gate.

It’s located close to amenities, private access with the spacious patio and braai area. They really considerate for pet lovers.

Very peaceful and quiet and close to all amenities. Very nice outside seating area.

We travel with our Jack Russell Dog and she had her own little yard to play and sniff in. The place was quiet and felt like home.

Owners very friendly and accommodating

When I first stumbled upon this accommodation, it seemed almost too good to be true. Everything was as perfect as it seemed online. Chris and Wendy were the most thoughtful host. They provided me with all the information I needed. The accommodation is really comfortable. The kitchen contains everything you need. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom and terrace are clean and light. The location was incredible. They went way beyond to make my stay comfortable and memorable. Chris and Wendy thank you.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Lazy Lizard. It is very quiet, clean and Wendy made us feel most welcome. The air-conditioned guest suite was fabulous and very well equipped with everything we needed. The garden was very well manicured and pretty.

The property needs to be dusted for it to be neat. Otherwise everything else was good.

The room was comfortable and pet-friendly. We were able to walk down to the beach with our two small dogs (though the walk back is a bit uphill and challenging). We could leave the dogs behind in the private garden while we explored the Durban area. Wendy was a great host and very accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay.

Wendy is awesome!! From the moment I got there she was extremely welcoming and easy going. She made sure I felt comfortable and that everything was in order. Lazy lizard is a beautiful place and central to many amenities. We had a number of places around that we could order food from. The beach is close by too. Wendy was amazing enough to allow us to stay passed the check out time which we are extremely grateful for. As the weather was cold and rainy and horrible, I had no jacket and we had no idea of what to do in such horrible weather until my boyfriend had to go to the airport in the evening. She has a heart of gold and we would definitely recommend lazy lizard to others 😁

Space was wonderful, the appliances available was great. The attention to detail for me bringing my dogs was too special. Perfect area. Absolutely wonderful to meet Wendy. Exactly the place you wish to find.

Room was exclusive, and we liked the braai facilities.

The location is safe, quiet and so close to the beachfront and local restaurants. The amenities are plentiful, and the hosts were wonderful and gave us privacy. The hosts very kindly allowed me to let my dogs stay with - which was convenient.

Wendy was an amazing host. It was a peacefull stay. If l could l would have stayed a whole week 😁. I highly highly recomend this place. Place is clean, quiete, and cosy and close to the beach. Unfortunately l forgot to take more pictures of the room

Beautiful entrance garden with lovely trees, just when i open my door it was wowowowow! It was so stunning, very fresh, the detailed furniture speaks everlasting history which calm your mind, OmG! The bed was so comfortable very comfortable and duvets and pillows where like the mothers touched when nourishing her baby, the place is soooo quiet peaceful only thing u can hear was lovely birds, lazy lizard staff extremely respectful and loving trust me they will take excellent care of you, everything is around is just walk,new ocean mall just around the corner, very safe place extremely safe, secure parking incase u driving the do offer, I can write 72 pages about this lovely guest home trust me, I just wanna say thank you and I'm looking forward to spend more holidays with lazy 🦎.

Did not like that I did not have gifts to give to anyone is what broke my heart... I LOVED EVERYTHING,ZERO OF ANYTHING I DIDN'T LIKE EVEN ESKOM DID NOT SPOIL MY HEART BECAUSE THE PLACE IS WELL PREPARED...THEY HAVE EVERYTHING BUT ABOVE ALL THE HAVE LOVE AND TRUE CARE...

The dogs had their own space. Very impressed with the unit

It is as warm and lovely unit.Position of the unit gives you privacy and homely feeling. Also the basic kitchen gives you options to prepare food.I will return.
