Downtown Golden. Walk everywhere. Perfect location.
It was expensive (but given location, summer, etc, I get it and wasn't unhappy).
The quaintness, location , friendly staff
I liked everything, no complaints
Location and walkability were outstanding. We liked the room size. The entire hotel had an ambience that we appreciated.
The only negative was that they didn't have an accessible room available as we requested.
Great location…walking distance to everything and close to Red Rocks Amphitheater- about 15min
Our first room was awful. Super loud AC and felt “wet” in the room. They switched us when I spoke to them about it though and the second room was fine. I think this property is over priced for what you get.
So conveniently located in Golden. Helpful staff. Great atmosphere.
Aesthetic, location, size and layout of the room, convenient valet, friendly staff, complimentary water, ice machine, balcony and view from the balcony.
I’m partial to down pillows.
Location was excellant.
The staff was very friendly! The decor and the charm of the older hotel remodeled with all the amenities and service were very pleasant! Thank you! It was as nice having the restaurant on property! Valet parking worked well!
The only thing would be to have a phone plug-in on the table near the bed to recharge. Plugging it into the wall left a short cord which made it harder to use while still working and charging! But all very nice!
Location was great. Restaurant was nice
Pull out bed very uncomfortable, bathroom could use update.
This was such a great location to explore Golden and to attend a Red Rock Amphitheater event.
The lobby and hallways have an exceptionally intense room perfume. It was really annoying. They had a text service with the front desk but when I replied, no one answered. When I asked if there was a town shuttle to Red Rock, they gave me a card to a $650 limo service. I used uber instead.
It was clean, spacious and comfortable. The beds and pillows were great. The location was amazing, very close to shops, coffee shops and the park.
Nothing
Location
The cucumber water in the lobby was a good idea at altitude but it tasted horrible. My guess was that the cucumber was not fresh the day we checked in. I informed the lady behind the front desk who did not seem to care and I also informed a lady who worked in the restaurant but she just said she wasn’t responsible for the water and coffee in the lobby. I even asked her is she had tasted the water and she just said no and left. Basically this showed up the lack of proper management and training. We had cucumber water today at the American Airlines lounge and it was delicious. American Airlines better than tge Table Mountain Inn. Not a good reflection.
Great location to walk around Golden and attend concert at Red Rocks. The hotel is comfortable enugh but the rooms are dated and the bathroom was quite outdated and should be improved, especially the tub!
Location, it’s literally on the main street so that was convenient. The interior has kind of a Spanish/southwest feel making it warm and unique. Bathroom amenities were nice and the door closed quietly
Did not know that there was only valet parking and we had to pay extra for that. The refrigerator right next to the bed was kind of noisy, and there was no microwave in the room.
We enjoyed our stay, hotel was good, cool decor and had a great location and awesome staff! The restaurant food was also good, I was pleased every time we went. Most things you could want on vacation are within walking distance. The town is nice but it is a bit on the touristy side. Our stay was too short (long weekend) to see and do everything. Enjoyed it and will return!
This place is perfectly located downtown and walkable to everything. Every part of the engagement we had with the staff was excellent. The architecture and the interior decorating of the hotel is unique and engaging. We loved our stay here and we’ll be back.
Great location and charming look and vibe. Staff was friendly.
Room was small, dated, with uncomfortable beds - especially for the price per night.
Amazing. Likely the best place in Boulder along with maybe one or two boutique hotels. Too 3 for sure. If you want a go to hotel in Golden this is it.
Table Mountain Inn was the perfect spot to stay - 10 minute drive to Red Rocks, easy drive to Garden of the God's and great access to a variety of trails. Loved having a balcony overlooking the main street. Great food at the Cantina and lovely staff!
We’ve happily stayed at TMI many times. The location is perfect, the hotel is clean and comfortable.
Property a 10, valet team figured it out within a day, we are very active…., location is amazing, coffee houses nearby are all great. Staff was hit in miss. Cleaning crew super friendly and engaging as you passed them in the hallways. We didn’t use turn down services, they offer a free cocktail if you don’t have your room cleaned. We had to read a small sign to be offered that on day 2. They need a smiling greeter or concierge and the place would be amazing. Morale of key staff seemed lackluster. Highly recommend this location. Beds and pillows decent not great.
Was in the heart of the town!
The pillows were lumpy.
Table Mountain Inn is always our fave place to stay when visiting Golden! So close to Red Rocks when it’s concert time & perfect for when we just want to on hang out in town. Friendly, comfortable & cool!
Convenient, clean
Expensive
Great location, older property but well kept. Staff was friendly and accommodating. There were water issues due to a main break outside, but other than that no problems. I didn't receive a receipt for final payment, but will call to chase that down.
Very little as I was sold a different room with no windows and a brick wall ! But was told I’d have Mountain View ! lies all lies
Everything bathroom was old and falling apart staff was cold when problems were pointed out and did nothing to fix it! Food was very expensive and not that good except my last meal the trout! Maid service was pathetic ! I’ll never recommend this place
Easy access … downtown Golden
Table Mountain Inn is a gem tucked into downtown Golden. Fantastic views and in the middle of great restaurants and nightlife. A must stay!!!
For anyone visiting Golden, the location of the hotel is excellent. Just about everything you need to see is within a 10 minute walk. The hotel itself is very clean and decorated pleasantly. The restaurant/bar offer a good selection of food and is reasonably priced. The staff is more than helpful.
Nice quiet room with comfortable beds on second floor. Great location in heart of downtown next to lots of restaurants and walking distance to CSM. We opted for no housekeeping and got free margaritas in the bar.
High cost of the room, but decided worth it for convenience of location and covered parking. Restaurant doesn't open until 7pm. Service friendly but slow.
The hotel has a great location. Close to a coffee shop, great restaurants and shopping. There is a bar and restaurant on site. We were on the side of the hotel that heard garbage trucks early in the morning, so wish we would have had a different room location.
Unique. Friendly front desk. Clean. Easily accessible to red rocks amphitheater
Fairly pricey
The location was great, quaint little town full of shops, beautiful views and things to do. It was very clean and everyone was extremely friendly.
Little high price but i think that’s normal for the area.
We booked a king room with a balcony for a Thurs - Sunday stay. We arrived Thursday and the balcony was covered in plastic, taped down and all the furniture moved and stacked in the corner. We asked about it and they said work was being done and it would be removed by 5pm. Fine. Friday... plastic still on. We asked and they said it would be removed by Friday at 5pm. We asked if we could get a lower rate, the same charged for a room with no balcony. They would "have to ask a manager tomorrow." Saturday... plastic still on. We asked again about the rate change as we are now on day 3 with no use of the balcony. We were told we could stand on the plastic and look out. (By the way... NO WORK was ever done while we were there... not one person out there working) I told her it was not the same standing and looking. We like to have a glass of wine on the balcony together, sitting down! She said she would have to "check with a manager." We were out most of Saturday... came back and the plastic had been removed but no furniture moved back. We did get to enjoy a short time out there before our dinner reservations and plans, moving the furniture back ourselves. We left for an early flight on Sunday morning. We asked again at checkout for a discounted rate at least for the first 2 nights. She said she would have to ask the manager on Monday morning and send me an email. It is now 7:30pm Monday... no email. So....... just beware. We totally get that work must be done. But it should not be at our expense. A lower rate should have been given. And the poor staff at the front desk should be allowed SOME POWER to make decisions and make a customer happy. We would have been fine with a $50 credit for each day we could not enjoy what we paid for. We paid $1600 for three nights, which seems like a LOT for a simple room with a king bed and a balcony. Without the balcony... we got so ripped off. Pros to the hotel: Great guys in the valet parking... always on it and so friendly! Easy to walk to everything in town. Can even walk to the Coors tour. Onsite restaurant. Rooms feel like you are in the southwest... not fancy... but clean and feels like Colorado more than a Hampton Inn. We opted for no room cleaning during our stay and they gave us 2 free Margaritas at the bar. But buyer beware... you might not get what you paid for... esp if it requires a manager to ok it.
Excellent! Great in town location, super clean, comfortable rooms, on site parking available, the on site restaurant was excellent!
Hotel has went down hill-heard it was bought and is no longer an independent hotel. Never notified of exterior work being done when booking a balcony room with plastic covering, scaffolding, and men outside on a crane. Woke up to concrete being drilled at 7am on a couple trip. Hotel food subpar from the past 5 years we have been staying. Service worse-not accommodating and took over a day to respond to a request. So disappointed since we fell in love with Golden partly based on this hotel and the restaurant attached.
I normally do not write these comments, butI have to share the great care I amd my wife received from the Desk member, Julian and the Valet person Casey. Over all, the staff was awesome.... but these two took it to another level. Thank You
Location is great.
Getting a bit dated. Needs a refresh. Double charged my room and had to get refunded.
The room was fabulous, the view was amazing, staff was super helpful, and o loved Golden!
A pool would have made it perfect!!!
Great location Great staff
The Table Mountain Inn is one of those rare non-chain hotels that is operated on a very high level of hospitality. The rooms are lovely, some with views of the mesas and mountains. The staff is helpful and kind. Parking right on site and just steps from everything that Golden has to offer.
nothing.
Great location in downtown Golden.
Nothing fancy but very comfortable.
Location
The location.
Very dated. Needs updating badly, overpriced!
Golden Co is fantastic and the hotel is nice. The issue I had was that I prepaid a few weeks before the trip with the assumption I was saving money. I found out the week before we traveled that the price was about $60/night less. I called and asked for a lower rate but was refused. Then asked can I at least get a discount on the restaurant and again was refused. The below is from the hotel website: "Advanced Purchase Rate Pay now and save! Offer is non-refundable and cannot be modified." I realize it says the offer cannot be modified but it also says "Pay now and save". Kind of conflicting info. But I do feel like I was conned. My advice if you decide to stay there - DO NOT PREPAY.
The room was very clean and spacious. When we checked in we were basically given a k and that was it. Found out later there were amenities available that we weren't told about, including an off-site exercise place. The valet charged $24 per night but was rarely available and you would have to hunt down someone from the staff to get into your car. The front desk staff seem to be handling the heavy lifting for all of the people staying at the hotel. There were other staff members and plenty of them that didn't seem directly involved in taking care of guests.
I held a small conference here for about 60 people and the atmosphere was good, the food was more delicious and vegetable-forward than I’d ever had from hotel catering, and the event staff was just fantastic. They were all positive and easy to work with and created a really good experience for our guests. Definitely recommend!
I had stayed here many times in the past. Had not been here for several years but it had not changed as much as I thought it might. Have many good memories of resturant and location. The enchantilata plate was wonderful just as I remembered.
Information given front desk on check-in was confusing regarding garage rules and cost (not mentioned $, even though I asked if there was charge) Had to be chaperone in garage and leave keys so you had to get keys if you wanted to get something out of car. Had to ask for microwave to get one delivered to room. Only learned about microwave when asked at desk if something could be heated for me. Still love the ambiance...
Great location to access downtown Golden. The hotel is quaint and well-kept. I liked the fireplace in the lobby. The front desk folks were nice.
The hotel was a bit confusing to navigate, but it wasn't a big issue. I wish the coffee service in the room included the creamer cups, instead of a powder packet--but that's just me being a coffee snob. I wasn't in the room/hotel enough during my stay to fully evaluate the experience. We were gone most of the time. But I certainly would consider staying there again.
Great location! Staff was fantastic
Great central location in a great walkable town! Kudos to the Management for all the modern room conveniences and updated beds without losing the rustic charm. The onsite restaurant was good, but I especially enjoyed the outside patio dining.
Great location comfortable room
Staff was often missing in action
great breakfast!

Love location
All good
I expected charm, but this was more than that. They have preserved the old character while making it as comfortable and up to date in services as possible. I loved it
Everything was fine in the room.
Parking was mandatory valet with NO other options in the old town. I was told I could park in a nearby church lot for $21 , but had to get my car out by 6am. The city of Golden will not allow any overnight parking. I do not engage in Valet parking for many reasons. The staff could not provide me any alternative. I have stayed there numerous times , but unfortunately it will be my last stay strictly due to no parking options.
Everything was great except the bed
The bed and pillows were so bad that i had to leave early. I had lingering neck and back pain for a few weeks after staying here
We loved the location. It was walking distance to everything Golden has to offer. The room was a amazing with a southwestern style that really made it a great small mountain hotel
Stayed here in Feb 2026 for Goldens in Golden. Outstanding stay. Location to EVERYTHING in Golden is excellent. We walked from one end of the town to the other from this hotel. We walked to the Coors Brewery Tour in 10 minutes. Location. Location. Location was excellent. The rooms were cute and cozy. The staff was kind and friendly. This is clearly a well-run establishment.
Only the location. The hotel was one of the worst hotel's I've stayed at in over 10 years. It was so bad, my wife and I checked out and went to a Marriott property for half the price and was what a hotel should be. I would not recommend that anyone stay here.
A lot. From the front desk staff- they could care less, to the overall poor conditions of the rooms including the bedding, floors uneven, bathroom, furniture everything was outdated-dirty and old.
Excellent location in downtown Golden, accessible to many great restaurants. Comfortable beds and large rooms -- great that the hotel is dog-friendly but also very clean.
My main complaint is the parking situation -- I get it that we need to allow the valet to park our vehicle, but when few people are staying and there is plenty of parking in the garage, why can't we just keep our key and enter and exit without having to ask the valet to get our car? It just seems like a time-wasting step to me.
Outstanding location within walking distance to downtown venues.
Location and very clean
The restaurant closed very early for a Saturday night
Close to the Main Street of Golden and within walk distance to shops and restaurants.
Kind of a musty smell in the rooms. Carpet should be updated.
At the main street of Golden right across a popular pizza restaurant… room was spacious with large bed… wifi worked perfectly… toilet was spotless clean with nice hot shower and fragrant soap and shampoo… friendly staff and easy to talk to… quick 5-minute walk to the Colorado School of Mines campus, would definitely stay again :)
I hope breakfast was included and 100 usd deposit wasn’t required because sometimes one may encounter problems with the bank during the deposit reversal process
Very clean and great location for the reason we were there.
The staff from check in to bar seemed bothered to wait on us. Bar was not extra busy but took quite awhile for waitress or bartender to wait on us. When they did they didn’t want to answer questions. When a friend showed up we pulled up an extra chair from one of the extra tables and the waitress, couldn’t get there fast enough to move all our drinks, even our coats to another table. We don’t go out for dinner and a show and get a hotel room for an evening, but friends ask us. This was not a good start to our evening. However, the waitress for breakfast was very personable. Keep her!
The restaurant was excellent. The location is in the heart of the historic downtown Golden and within walking distance of other restaurants, shops, and coffee shops.
The only issue I had was every time I stay here is no view from my room. If there is you must ask specifically for a view.
My mother, a Golden Colorado native, had never had the pleasure of staying in this storied establishment. We have had a wonderful stay at the Table Mountain Inn. Upon check in, our reservation was incomplete (through no fault of the staff). The desk clerk, whose name I failed to get (check in the evening of 12/27/2025) was very accommodating and made sure our reservation was properly addressed. The room is spacious, comfortable, and quiet. The housekeeping staff fulfilled each request. We had table service in the cantina on thefirst night of our stay, Chris was our server. She was a kind, efficient and accommodating. On the second evening, we had a celebratory dinner in the cantina. Sierra was at our service. She handled our table of 6 with grace and ease. However, not all of the service we received was top notch. Sammy, the front desk, clerk on the evening of 12/28/2025, was unhelpful, rude, and unprofessional. Had it not been for our experience with Sammy, I would have given five stars all around.
The hotel is very nice and in a great location.
The decision to eliminate everything except valet parking is a non starter. Also, the placement of guests with pets in the annex is also bothersome. I have stayed here many times over the years but certainly do not feel valued.
We enjoyed our 3-night stay very much! The room was clean, and we received clean towels and wash cloths daily. My wife and I take Christmas vacation every year somewhere in Colorado. This is our 2nd year staying at the Table Mountain Inn. We enjoy Golden and surrounding areas a great deal, and we absolutely love your Table Mountain Cantina!
Right in the middle of town main st. Was clean n nice. Beds were comfortable n room was spacious. It was all good.
Stepping into the lobby, we were transported into a western! Cow hide chairs line the lobby and bar, kiva fireplace creates that special ambience, and interior stucco arches took us back to our time in Santa Fe. The rooms were super quiet so if you are a light sleeper you will be happy about that. The mattress was a little lumpy and soft but not enough to disrupt sleep. Overall, the price and location made this inn a good deal and the grill and cantina were superb.
Fantastic location
Nothing
While we never ate at the restaurant we wish we had. One night stay in Table Mountain Inn and we had Key Lime Pie and another dessert at the bar. Scott behind the bar was superb, friendly chatty and a wealth of knowledge for us. We wish we had more than 1 night there to go into the Cantina - the hotel was superb and im sure the cantina is too. Beds comfortable nice warm clean room. Lovely Western theme. Close to everything. Thankyou Scott for a great experience!
The location is perfect, walking distance to almost everything! All of the staff was so friendly and attentive!
Nothing! We wished we could have stayed longer! Haha
Clean. Friendly front desk. No issues.

Right in downtown Golden Switched me to a different room when tv didn’t work and gave us a 15 dollar voucher for food in their amazing Mexican restaurant
Great location and a very comfortable place to stay. If you don’t mind the serious and somewhat unfriendly front desk staff, this is a great spot.
