Holiday Inn Express & Suites Golden by IHG

This location is very clean. Bed 8s excellent and sheets and towels smell clean

No banana offered at breakfast

It was clean and beds were comfortable

No coffee of any kind in rooms. We had to ask for it and carry it up to our room. One working single cup at a time coffee in the breakfast area. There were constant lines for this. We ended up going out for breakfast to avoid the lines for coffee

The proximity to Red Rocks is stellar. The pool was large. The room was nicely equipped with microwave and fridge area

1. The room was not clean: sticky spill on the counter and floor 2. There was a single nightstand for 4 of us between two beds 3. Breakfast hours end at 9:30 which is way too early. 4. The hot tub was not clean and well maintained

Proximity to highway and event location

Staff on arrival seemed completely uninterested in my arrival. Double-charged for a purchase which was corrected although it took quite a long time. Also minimal amenities in the room considering how expensive it was for one night. Uncomfortable lumpy bed. 11 am checkout seems unreasonable. I would have preferred a noon checkout time.

Clean and comfortable rooms. Pool and spa were great. Breakfast spread was adequate.

You needed to sign up for wifi or pay. The air conditioner was noisy and went on/off all night. We couldn't turn it off.

It was close to where I went to visit

The pool was to cold and the hot tub had to much chlorine chlorine it ruined. Our swimsuits was bleached very bad.

The room had a cracked toilet, the bathroom door wouldn't lock unless you pushed hard on the door. The heat/ac was run off of a thermostat so if you sleep with a fan, you will not have the white noise you are used to. There is a construction company that has back up alarms that you will hear late in the night but it will help drowned out the noise of the teenage girls constantly slamming their door and and running up and down the hallway.

Viel zu teuer. Für diesen Preis kann man auch ein sauberes Bad ohne zig Haare der Vorgänger erwarten. Die Sauberkeit ließ leider sehr zu wünschen übrig.

Everything was absolutely satisfactory.

My only complaint was that the mattress wasn’t that great. It wasn’t horrible, but I have back issues and I’ve had better.

Extremely Disappointing Experience. What started as a simple request for help with a TV remote escalated into a shocking situation for my family. Instead of resolving a routine customer service issue, a hotel employee pounded on our door and threatened to have us removed, frightening my young child. We no longer felt safe staying and had to leave. I reported the incident to both hotel management and IHG. However, IHG said they could not override the hotel's decision, and the hotel refused to refund our stay or meaningfully address our concerns. This experience was not about a TV remote. It was about how a minor issue was handled with a lack of professionalism and accountability. Not safe to say and I don't recommend this hotel to any one.

The breakfast were good & we were able to use the EV charger for our car which served our needs when touring around the area given the gas prices now.

The ventilation was horrible… ac unit was noisy… had a south facing room which didn’t help making it difficult for the ac to keep up. Also the tv remote didn’t work properly

Staff was unfriendly and wasn't listening during check in - asked the same question 4 separate times. Room was not clean at check in (mold in shower, dirt on bed).

the room was clean and had the basic things we needed. Staff was friendly and professional.

I booked for three people, but the third bed/fold out couch was not made up and so we had to call for sheets and blankets when we got in around 10pm. There were only two regular coffee pods and the quality of that coffee was poor (low quality brands). I had written an email asking about receiving some food to go early, as we needed to leave at 5:30. no one replied to my email.

I didnt like that I accidentally left my headphones in the room I stayed in (208) and one of the housekeepers stole them.

Freundlicher Empfang, schöne saubere Zimmer! Hotel ist zwar nicht mehr das allerneuertse aber das hat uns persönlich nicht gestört! Frühstück war sehr gut, sogar mit Kaffeevollautomaten. Preis Leistung war sehr gut, Lage ist auch gut, man braucht zwar das Auto aber in 10 Minuten ist man an der Colorado Mills und da gibts Shops und Lokale zum abwinken, sicher für jeden was dabei ;) Im Hotel übernachten auch immer wieder Leute der State Police, in Golden liegt ja ein Ausbildungszentrum mit Teststrecke, man fühlt sich dann gleich sicherer wenn Polizeifahrzeuge beim Hotel abgestellt sind, haha............................ Wobei wir uns aber auch so nicht unsicher gefühlt haben, Hotel liegt direkt neben Märkte und wenn die zusperren ist es schön ruhig in der Ecke!

Drove 9 hours to stay at this Hotel, while attending a concert there, and housekeeping stole from me. I left my smart watch sitting on the desk. Confirmed by 2 others that stayed with me. I checked out of hotel, and realized I forgot it. called to see if it was turned in shortly after I left, they tried to brush me off and say nobody found it, they refused to check with the housekeeper that cleaned the room. Refused to look into it. Called the next day and some really rude guy hung up on me when I asked if it was found. That is clear evidence they stole it. so my lovely trip ended up losing 350.00 that was stolen by some staff at the Hotel. DIdn't even act like they cared or would check on it. Will never stay there again, very dishonest people!!!! and theives!

The window curtains were see thru directly showing a shopping center straight ahead. It would have been nice to have the option to shut the curtains with blackout curtains.

That they refused to do anything about the room above us with kids, literally jumping and stomping on the floor. The whole night and morning was unable to get any sleep was very rude and disrespectful. Will never stay there again.

I wish there was more area for a family of 4 to eat breakfast. I wish guest would not drink alcohol in this area by the pool/hot tub. It is very steamy in this area.

Property had a decent location and the pool and hot tub was nice.

The breakfast was terrible. The juices were watered down, and the kitchen staff was unhelpful. Our room was right above the breakfast area, so every morning starting at 6:30, we heard every little noise. The chairs made horrible scratching noises. Our bathtub wouldn’t drain well, and the Dove soap provided by the hotel smelled really bad. I don’t think it was actually Dove brand. The sofa bed was awful.

Great location for heading west into the mountains. Quiet. Always a great breakfast. Also liked the fitness center.

Fitness center was nice. Pool had hot tub - that's rare! Overall nice atmosphere, especially for the price. Cleaner than most hotels I've stayed at.

Breakfast items. Sausage was very salty and overcooked. I didn't try anything else. Would love you to add a water cooler in the lobby for guests to fill bottles. If there was one, I missed it.

Great location to travel from Denver to Boulder, Breckenridge and all around. Stayed 4 nites… excellent hot breakfast with great variety each day

Very comfy bed and pillows. Very clean facility. Pool and hot tub were not overly coordinated. Only negative was that the traffic noise was very prominent in the room. I think this is the norm for Holiday Inn Express hotels everywhere.

Facility was nice and so was staff. Got charged extra ro check in a little bit early wasn't told found out after I paid we could have waited 15 more minutes. Room was spacious. Shower was nice and dove soap.

The breakfast was sooo gross. Facility very loud kid running and jumping until midnight called and told the staff it stopped for 10.minutes and started up again. Should kick people out that cannot respect others trying to sleep when its super late.

Very disappointing experience. We were scheduled to check in at 3:00 PM and arrived to find the hotel closed, with poorly handwritten signs taped to the door stating there was no electricity. There was no prior notice, no email, no phone call—nothing. We had an event scheduled 10 minutes from this hotel, and instead of resting, we had to spend over an hour scrambling to find alternative accommodations. We were traveling with a 5-year-old and a 2-year-old who were exhausted and cold, which made this situation even more stressful. I understand that power outages are sometimes unavoidable. What is unacceptable is the complete lack of communication. A simple courtesy call or message would have allowed us to plan ahead and avoid this inconvenience. To make matters worse, my reservation was still active and my IHG points were deducted, even though the hotel was clearly closed. When I contacted IHG, I was told the property is privately owned and that follow-up should have come from the hotel itself. It took significant effort just to reach someone at the front desk. I stay exclusively at IHG hotels and have never left a negative review before, but this experience especially in cold weather was extremely frustrating and handled very poorly. I expect my points to be refunded promptly and hope this situation is taken seriously so it does not happen to other guests.

The location to my daughter’s home was perfect, that’s why we chose it.

Nothing I didn’t like, it’s a good location for what we needed. You would have to drive to the town of Golden so it wouldn’t be ideal For some.
