Cool location Clean hotel Unique
Nothing
The location to red rocks was the only benefit to this hotel.
The pictures mask the gas stations and highway right outside the entrance and Martin Marietta digging behind the hotel. The showers were horrible. I say showers, because we had to switch rooms. After coming back late from a full days hike, our original room smelled of sewer. We were told this happens on occasion and had to pack up our things to relocate late at night.
The staff and location was excellent
Hotel had a septic issue and rooms had rotten egg smell. Needed some maintenance.
Nothing
The Service was very poor, the mattress was was worn out, the shower was a massage not a shower etc etc etc the value was absolutely bad.
Location, staff
Property not maintained. All the wood cabinets, trim etc in need of repair & paint. Bed very saggy & uncomfortable. Room not as clean as it should be
I like how close the hotel is to the Red Rocks for concerts.
We stayed here for a concert 6 years ago, and the rooms were really nice! We stayed here again on 9/6-9/8/26, and the rooms need some seriou maintenance. All the furniture was rickety, and had paint peeling off of it. The baseboards and trim in the room and bathroom were really beat up. For more than $400/night, I expect the rooms to look well maintained, and the furniture not to feel like it's going to fall apart.
Like that, they have the shuttle to red rocks and aI’m restaurant and bar and very nice staff
Rooms need upgrading.L The furniture is in bad shape. Hotel need to have drawers in the rooms, especially the nightstands. The rooms are very dark and need much better lighting.
It’s location, all the amenities and the modern design
Location..easy access to highway
Location to Red Rock Amphitheater
Extremely inflated pricing
Comfortable rooms.
Food and service were average.
check in was not professional, next morning went out to courtyard to sit and tables were dirty from night before and dirty glasses sitting around and this was at 8am
Fun lobby bar area and convenient location for shows at Red Rocks.
While on the surface it appears updated, they must have done so cheaply because finishes are already very worn and breaking. Leaky shower heads and chipped tiles etc.
The accommodations did not justify the price and that’s as polite as I can be. Rooms long overdue for upgrading. Restaurant food and service was good, but tables were always sticky. Front desk was friendly in person but never picked up the phone. Our view was of the gas station and the liquor store. Not much you can do about that, but it added to the poor overall experience. Red rocks concert goers filled the hotel parking lots as the hotel apparently has a side business transporting concert goers to the venue for a fee Even if they were not staying at the hotel!
Convenient location to Red Rocks
Because the property has a “captive” audience with its proximity to Red Rocks, Wyndham has not invested in the upkeep of the rooms compared to the high nightly rates charged. Room wasn’t very clean and needed quite a bit of maintenance…walls, baseboards, lamps, shower head all needed help. Higher price…higher expectations.
Quiet location close to Red Rocks, the best place to stay to see a concert.
Very limited restaurant choices nearby

Traveling with a group of 6 can be tricky. Sleeping arrangements are always tough. We booked the Bunk Suite - and had a full room of bunk beds! Fun and genius!

Website suggests this is a luxury hotel and for the price at Vlose to 400$ a night you expect that. But the rooms are pretty basic, bed comfort avg/sad, and food at restaurant avg. we were happy to sleep there after a recent concert but I wouldn’t stay again. Overpriced.
Beautiful facility, so close to the amphitheater
No included breakfast
Great location just off I70. Clean, comfortable spacious room. Friendly staff.
No negatives.
Restaurant and Bar were great.
Great location for Redrocks and beautiful entrance. Unfortunately, the room was a disappointment. The room design with multiple bunk beds is fantastic for a family but the musty smell and beyond awful pillows made the stay a big disappointment.
Our stay at the hotel started out good, but when we went to leave, I had left my purse and when I returned in less than an hour they couldn't locate my purse🤬 the housekeeping manager was very defensive saying they always return lost items. The hotel staff didn't seem to really care about my loss.
Rooms are a disaster, curtain broke, toilet paper holder broken, ceiling in bathroom shows signs of leaking, hole in wall behind door, bed uncomfortable. We reported these things to front desk, no one cared to fix. Very expensive per night to have all these things broken. Will never stay here again!1
Horrible mattress, with a giant sink hole in the middle. No light over the coffee maker, could not see a thing. Poor staff.
Good morning, We’ve been coming to the Golden area for the last 14 years and have always wanted to stay at your Red Rocks location, as our daughter went to school here and has stayed for her career. After staying at the Westminster location on our way North, it feels like we may have missed the opportunity to enjoy the Red Rocks at its finest. As we were headed back South I was sincerely excited about staying at the Red Rocks, finally. Compared to Westminster this location was $150 more for one night in room 211, a beat up falling apart forgotten space. The cabinets are nicked, scratched, and marred from the comings and goings over the years. It doesn’t appear that any paint touch ups have been applied to freshen things up. To accompany the many in-room disappointments there is a very noticeable large stain in the carpet outside our door. But, a comfortable bed, tasty coffee in the morning, and a warm shower the next day could have washed away all of the disappointments. The bed sagged, the coffee machine managed one cup before sputtering to a halt and dying, and there was only one towel for us to dry with. I know the staff downstairs would have jumped in with another towel, and perhaps even a replacement coffee machine, but who wants to add any of that to the day’s beginning? I understand that this is a very favorable location for performances next door and all of a 2 star hotel experiences would be acceptable, but for a weary traveler looking for and paying for something along the lines of a 3-4 star hotel, this was miserable. We’d look forward to the Westminster location, which hopefully doesn’t fall into disrepair before our next stay, but Red Rocks never again. I’ve included some photos. Thomas Green Tucson,AZ
Poor mattress with a giant sink hole in the middle. Poor lighting over coffee pot. Only 2 bath towels. Unresponsive staff at front desk.
Basically the proximity to Red Rocks is this hotel’s main advantage. The good Location, free parking, responsive front desk and very friendly bartenders. The not so good Rooms very tired, not dated but worn; fixtures loose in bathroom, 1 bath towel upon check in, furniture nicked and worn and by far the most uncomfortable worn lumpy bed we have ever tried to sleep on. And very expensive for the quality.
Where to start… the Origin is conveniently located to Red Rocks. The location is a bit isolated for anything other than a concert stay. The rooms are extremely expensive for the quality of the accommodations. The good-We loved the water pressure in the shower as well as the expensive toiletries/guest amenities. The bad- The room was very poorly lit, really dark. No housekeeping AT ALL during our 3 night stay. Only 2 towels were provided for 3 nights. The curtains were falling off the wall. No seat in the shower. Poor soundproofing, very loud. Furniture was dated. When we arrived at 2 pm which was before the 4pm checkin, we were told the room was ready and we could pay $50 for an early check in. On our return visit we will stay in downtown Golden.
Location & super Dog Friendly
Location
Price gouge. Room had wear and tear and not worth $600.
The tv shut off and would not come back on. The floors in bathroom and wood baseboards looked like they were chewed up. Got two rooms the one we had was so so. The one across hall had better flooring.
I love the location, and the full-length mirror, espresso in the room, large window, and nice clean white sheets.
The only thing I would change is to have a bellman service to bring the luggage up, even if you charged extra for that service, people like me would pay extra for that for convenience. I would also pay extra just to have food/room service delivered.
As a full-time wheelchair user, there were many reasons to be disappointed. The location was good. The size of the accessible room was good, although on the third floor down a long hallway. But for the money charged, it felt like accessibility was an afterthought. We booked knowing it was unlikely the shuttle to Red Rocks would accommodate a wheelchair, so we planned to drive. And I completely recognize that accessibility means different things to different people based on the physical limitations, but my stay was unpleasant for a variety of reasons. First, the sliding barn door for the bathroom is a great concept, but a door stop was put in place that limited the doorway width, making it very difficult to maneuver through the door without moving my hands from the wheels. Once in the bathroom, the height of the vanity sink was too high to wash my hands. I was able to see only my forehead in the mirror. The bed was low, which is okay for transfers but the king--sized mattress had a sizable dip making it even lower and uncomfortable to sleep on and difficult to get out. Lastly, the accessible parking was absolutely unacceptable. There are only two spots (not van accessible) in the front of the building by the entrance with automatic doors. If taken, which they inevitably were, there are several other accessible parking spots (also not van accessible) around back, which a sidewalk that leads to a gate instead of the hotel. A second sidewalk leads to stairs. A third route allows building access with a key and two sets of doors. Once inside, it's necessary to return to the front to access the elevator. It is amazing to me that there were no more accessible spots in the front of the hotel if that is the only way to access the elevator. This is a hotel we will likely never stay at again due to the challenges we had and the money we paid for our one night. I was very thankful it was only one night. And I'm certain this will not be a loss for the hotel as it's obvious they don't value business from this demographic anyway. I've has better experiences at Comfort Inn or Hampton Inn with a significantly less expensive bill. If you are not a wheelchair user, I'm sure this would be a convenient and pleasant stay especially if you are attending a show.

Having a restaurant was handy and the service was excellent. The shuttle to Red Rocks is definitely the way to go.
Clean and accessible
Not great. Needs some TLC. Lots of very used furniture with chipped paint, filthy floors, loose/broken bedside lamp, broken hairdryer, loose kitchen sink faucet, dangling toilet paper roll…. Ate at their restaurant, giving it two out of three stars. I hate to complain, BUT for $700/night, they should do better.
The selling point of this hotel was convenience and shuttle to red rocks. However the excessive costs plus the overpriced shuttle for old and creaky beds and limited amenities felt like a bait and switch.
Such a fantastic location if you're going to a show at Red Rocks — I was amazed at how close the amphitheater was. I stayed at the hotel for four nights in June, and overall my experience was very good. The staff at the front desk was friendly and efficient, the lobby bartender was great, and the overall feel of the hotel is modern and fun. The rooms are a little dated, but nothing significant, and mine was very clean. I will echo other reviewers that the mattress and pillows were pretty uncomfortable — lumpy and hard. It's too bad since everything else was good. I do wish there had been coffee in the lobby, but water is everywhere, and there is a cafe across the street. If you're looking for a good place to stay while visiting the Red Rocks/Golden area, I'd recommend the Origin!
Friendly and quick
Location, amenities, and staff are excellent!
Great staff at the front desk. They went above beyond to help order food for the restaurant to go to the concert because no one at the restaurant would answer the phone
One elevator is broken the entire time. $500 a night is a little bit pricey or standard hotel room.
Easy to find, exceptional staff, clean, very close to RED Rocks.
Right off the interstate. This is good & bad. Easy to find but not scenic.
We loved having Launch Espresso Food Spirits as well as Vice Kitchen as eatery options within walking distance to the hotel. We absolutely loved the proximity to the Red Rocks Amphitheater, an easy close drive to it from the hotel. We hiked in Clear Creek Canyon the next day and visited Golden : )
Hallway noise adjacent to rooms was loud and the doors did not provide enough buffer at all. The hotel could improve this for better soundproofing. Our room did not have enough water pressure to rinse soap from our hair; it was similar to showering with a garden hose that had a hole in it. This could be improved upon as well.
Breakfast was fantastic and our server was amazing! Cleaning staff was very kind. Location was perfect to attend a concert and Red Rocks and the shuttle access was our main reason for booking.
Given the price of our stay, an included breakfast would seem more ideal. Our check-in/out process was not super friendly with either staff member, in fact our check-out staff simply nodded and said nothing when we left. Was not impressed with our bed/bedding, mattress had stains on bottom corner and wasn't comfortable. No coffee in the room.
Stayed at Origins Red Rocks because I was attending a concert at Red Rocks. The proximity to the venue is what drew me to the hotel. The hotel was very clean, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean, modern and well appointed. The restaurant was fairly priced and food was very good. We took the Colorado Music bus from the hotel to the venue. Close hotel and shuttle service made attending the concert more relaxed and enjoyable. I will definitely stay here again when going to a show at Red Rocks.
Staff at front desk, very nice! Needed more staff in restaurant and bar. Room was comfy and clean. Close to Redrocks but didn't like the drive into town. Loved the coffee shop across the street!
Great spot and a very cozy place to stay. The room was clean, and the location was very convenient for attending a Red Rocks concert.
Beautiful property and great location. Friendly and helpful staff knowledgeable about the area. Very clean, comfortable and felt safe.
No complaints.
Easy access to red rocks
I didn’t like that my first night here I had to call the front desk to bring a Philips screwdriver to my room so I could fix the shower. Housekeeping knows when they put the shower head up it doesn’t hold. I should have to show up and work on things
Very clean and comfortable. The decor was fun and reflected a unique Red Rocks style and humor. Most importantly, they have a relationship with a shuttle service to the Red Rocks amphitheater for concerts, which is very convenient and reliable.
It seemed kind of isolated - not many nearby options for meals.
Location and vibes
A little pricey but it’s all about location
Location ok. Did not eat breakfast.
the price is way too high. No microwave.
Everything
Had to pay for shuttle separately
The bar/restaurant and the accessibility to RedRocks the shuttle service.
There was no pool or hot tub, sauna facilities
Ample parking
All of our towels were dirty with makeup it looked like. We were able to find housekeeping and get new ones. We needed our trash removed and there was not a place to put it since you don’t have daily housekeeping. For the price we paid, basic things like this should be included.
The property is minutes away from the Red Rocks concert venue. Within walking distance is a gas station, liquor store and some coffee shops/restaurants. For this particular show, the hotel even offered a shuttle bus for an extra cost.
The hotel is clean and well maintained. Staff is friendly and helpful (quick to respond to needs). Location is great. Our room was at the end and very quiet. Parking is easy. Bed was comfortable and we were able to ask staff for softer pillows. Will stay here again.
This motel was conveniently located just off I-70. Modern vibe with a great sitting area near the front desk with a fireplace. ( not that it was needed due to it was 80+ degrees outside!) There’s a really nice bar and restaurant area so we could enjoy a cold beer and relax after traveling on our motorcycle for five hours! We ate breakfast the next morning and split a burrito which we could barely finish! It was good! The room and bathroom were very spacious and linens were clean and comfortable. It was very quiet and the A/C unit was as well.
No free breakfast for the price paid. Very nice coffee pot in the room but was on a shelf unit and was so dark under shelf above I had to get my flashlight out to see how to operate it. The coffee was way too strong for our liking anyway, so after all that, I couldn’t even drink it. (Like Starbucks which is way too strong!)
Lobby decor was nice, hip and upscale. Bar and restaurant were decent
Rooms felt worn and a lot of little things were broken. Not at all what I expected from a $500/ night stay. The sheets were dirty and when the staff was asked to change them, they promised but never did.
We got a larger room and we loved it. Close to what you need and 9 min quick and easy drive to Red Rocks. Will stay again.
Good room and location.
There was no coffee or snacks in the morning. I am an early riser and don't like to wake my partner by making coffee in the room- she wants to sleep! I also wake hungry so a donut or pastry is needed until we can go out...BECAUSE THERE WAS NOT BREAKFAST! Really- for this price and no breakfast. Also the bar closes at 10 pm and the restaurant opens at 7 am? I had to go next door to the convience store- not real glamourous.
Clean, modern, well appointed
Complimentary bteakfast
Location and access to the shuttle.
My bed was pretty old and saggy.
I loved how inviting the hotel was as well as the staff.
I would say my only negative was the shower kinda splattered everywhere.
So convenient for concert - took us 7 minutes to drive to the venue! Also great staff and cool vibes. Loved our room!
the distance to Red Rocks, that they had a shuttle service for pickup. Having a bar on location
The cost seemed high. The bed way to soft. Was hoping for a outdoor hot tub.
The location, the restaurant on the premises, and the staff were great! The gym was good. The room was spacious and clean.
However, both of the queen beds in room 418 were horrible and sagging and we felt like we were sleeping in a bowl. Every pillow on the beds were lumpy and super thick and couldn’t be used. We hardly slept.
Bathroom light is not bright
We stayed here for the convenience to Red Rocks, and it certainly is convenient. We did not like our stay here. The absolute basics - a clean, comfortable room with a functional bathroom - were not met. The mattress of the bed was stained and the pillows were horrendous, and I don't think I've ever had a problem with a hotel pillow. The water pressure in the shower was very weak almost to the point of being completely ineffective. They attempt to make the very worn down room cute with artwork, etc, and they supply nice bath products, but all of the bells and whistles are irrelevant when basic needs aren't effectively met. Also note that if you want to use the bus service to a concert, it doesn't leave until close to gate opening, so you can't get on line earlier. We signed up for the bus but ultimately opted not to take it for that reason. You will not get reimbursed if you make that mistake. We will not stay here again. Others love it though, so this is just our experience.
This is a contemporary hotel close to the Red Rocks concert venue. There is a shuttle to take you there if you don't want to drive (about 3-4 miles, but concert parking at Red Rocks can be a hike) The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a small bar for drinks and socializing but not much seating area. But I never saw it full/busy. Fun to write with chalk on the wall by the elevators.
There is no drawers or room for your closes in the rooms. It's a hip cool vibe but no place to unpack really.
Cleaner than most
No breakfast
Excellent service & location!
Water pressure was insufficient
Staff was amazing, friendly, and gave great recommendations nearby. The location was super convenient for Red Rocks.
Staff was super friendly and the location was very convenient for Red Rocks
Closeness to the venue, pleasant staff
Windows couldn’t open, no proper AC
Vinnie is a great bartender!
No hand soap at sink - only shower gel, bathroom floors dirty (urine spots), no hooks in bathroom for clothes, lighting bad, house phone did not work for calls to the desk, restaurant opened 45 minutes late for lack of staff,
Location is convenient. Atmosphere is chill and fun. Rooms were nice however mattresses sucked! Rooms could use a microwave. Cleanliness of lobby and rooms were great, outside area needed someone to tidy the tables and grounds area. It would have been nice to have the big fire pit on in the evenings. Noise level was ok. Maybe a floor dedicated to young kids and babies would be nice. A baby woke us up around 3 a.m. Service was great. Amount of wait time in the restaurant was a bit long and we were confused if it was open due to waitress not being present for about 10 minutes after we sat ourselves. Food was excellent. We will stay again.
Location to Red Rocks Amphitheater
The room was secured through Booking and was grossly overpriced. Unfortunately, I didn’t price check this before the free cancellation date. I will do my due diligence before proceeding with using Booking.com
The stay was disappointing, especially considering the price. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and lumpy, and the room had multiple maintenance issues, including a broken toilet paper holder and a broken cold water faucet in the bathroom. We brought these concerns to staff on the second day of our stay, but the response felt indifferent and dismissive. The location is also fairly isolated. Nearby dining options were limited to a gas station, a mediocre coffee shop that closed early, and a brewery that never appeared to be open. The hotel restaurant also closed at 10 p.m. on weekdays, so guests arriving later in the evening should plan to eat elsewhere beforehand. We chose this hotel because it was about $200 less expensive than where we stayed previously, but at roughly $1,300 for five nights, we still expected a far better experience. During a prior trip in September 2025, we stayed at Table Mountain Inn and had a significantly better experience overall. It was cleaner, the beds were far more comfortable, the restaurant stayed open later, and there were many dining options within walking distance. In the future, we would gladly pay the extra cost to stay there again instead
Slow service for restaurant, food was mid
We stayed at Origin Hotel Red Rocks during a windy night and our original room developed a strong gas/sewage smell. When we contacted the front desk, staff immediately knew what we were talking about and explained that high winds can close the flues and cause this issue in certain rooms. To their credit, they did move us to another room quickly. However, it was concerning that this seemed to be a known and recurring problem rather than an isolated incident. There was also no acknowledgment of the inconvenience beyond the room change. The hotel itself is stylish and the location near Red Rocks is great, but dealing with a gas/exhaust type smell in a guest room is not something travelers should have to worry about. I would strongly recommend the hotel permanently address the venting issue instead of treating it as a normal occurrence.
Staying at the Origin Red Rocks, a Wyndham Hotel was one of the highlights of our trip. The atmosphere has this perfect blend of mountain lodge comfort and live music energy that makes you feel like you’re already part of the Red Rocks experience before you even step into the venue. The live music at the hotel was fantastic and created such a fun, welcoming vibe in the evenings. Pair that with excellent drinks from the bar, and it became our favorite place to unwind after a show. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful the entire stay, the kind of people who make you feel like a regular even on your first visit. The rooms were spotless, modern, and incredibly comfortable. Everything felt clean, well-kept, and thoughtfully designed. The location is also unbeatable. Being so close to Red Rocks made everything easy, and the convenient shuttle access took all the stress out of transportation and parking. If you’re heading to a concert at Red Rocks, this is absolutely the place to stay. Cozy, lively, clean, and perfectly located. We’ll definitely be back.

restaurant was just ok
Relación calidad, atención y precio espectacular

Gorgeous room
The bar was playing music by the singer we were going to see!l & Bonus!!! They stayed open after the show- the bartender had my beer poured as soon as I stepped up! W0W!! They have Yeti & Left-Handed Stouts on tap!!!! Sick!!! Shuttle driver was great!! Did I mention you can take your drink from the bar, to the shuttle, to the disabled shuttle, and into the venue!!!! Location! Staff!! Cleanliness!! All 💯
Having to book the shuttle on another site. While we were there it felt like part of the hotel- I wish you could figure out how to do that….
Great hotel close to Red Rocks amphitheater that has a third-party shuttle service to take fans to the shows at Red Rocks.
It was close to Red Rocks Amphitheater which is a plus. The bed was comfy. The AC and Heater worked well.
Close to the Amphitheater also meant it was not very close to anything else. When you are traveling from out of town and have no car thats not great. The restaurants on the area are subpar so you are in town for the day and short on time you are kind of out of luck.
This hotel is awesome. If you are going to see a show at the red rocks amphitheater. They have a very nice shuttle that takes you to and from the venue and the rooms and the hotel are very nice. I would highly recommend this place.
Great location and transportation added option for Red Rocks concerts. Nice bar area and available restaurant although we didn’t eat there. Family suite was great for sleeping but needs 2 bathrooms. Also we dont mind reusing towels but there are not enough places to hang towels. No closet or luggage racks to keep from putting luggage on the floor.
Great restaurant
good environment, good food and great location when seeing shows at red rocks!

Very comfortable beds, spacious room, close to Red Rocks for shows!
Charging $60/person for a shuttle to a location 3 miles away is actually insane. For the price, breakfast should be included.
Location was good, cleanliness of room was good.
Bathroom sink did not drain, we had to use the shower to wash our hands and brush our teeth. The thermostat did not work and we couldn’t turn down the heat, that made the night hot and uncomfortable. We went to a Red Rocks concert and did not arrive at the room till after 11pm, we checked out at 9am. The room was $220 to stay for 10hrs. Not worth the price. I would not recommend or stay here again.
The hotel is nice and clean, and the restaurant is nice. However, the walls are very thin, I could pretty clearly hear people talking in the next room. For a hotel like this I would expect things to be at least a little quieter,
