Hotel molt ben ubicat a la ciutat antiga. Bon esmorzar acabat de fer. El personal és hospitalari. Habitació correcta.

L’habitació no tenia ventilació a l’exterior. Era difícil regular la temperatura de l’aigua de la dutxa.

Location in the old town. Mind you, there are at present serious construction activities next door, but we did not bother. Friendly staff, they don't speak English.

Breakfast is ok, bare minimum. No response to my messages via booking.com.

Excellent séjour dans cet hôtel. Il est très bien situé, très propre et particulièrement agréable. Le personnel s’est montré très accueillant, attentionné et aux petits soins tout au long de notre séjour. Nous avons passé un très bon moment et recommandons cet établissement sans hésitation.

Yo como clienta no sabía que era un desayuno hecho para el cliente (no buffet) y tuve que haber mencionado mis alergias a huevo y leche. Así que mi propuesta es que el hotel lo comente para futuros huéspedes.

Clean spacious room , quiet location near one of the Old Town entrances, friendly welcoming and helpful owner + good eggy breakfast served on a tray with decent coffee. Wood burning stove in Reception for those chilly evenings at 10,000ft. The monastery ticket office is 10- 15 minutes away by the no.3 local bus. Zhongdian/Shangri-la is full of interest, and if/when we return, we know now where to stay!

Hot water was very slow to issue from the taps. Be patient!

Rooms can be a little bit cold

The hotel is well located to visit the city centre of Shangri La on foot. Rooms were spacious and had heated floors which made them consistently warm even in January (except in the bathroom! But the shower had hot water). Nice modern facilities, and the hostess helped us arrange our trips around Shangri La.

The staff was very helpful. They helped us take the luggage upstairs and even helped to arrange a 7-seater taxi to the railway station, as there are 4 of us with big luggage. The hospitality is beyond what we expected and somehow makes this trip even more memorable. The room is fantastic, complete with a heater, oxygen tank, and even an extra blanket to keep us warm. The property is inside the ancient town, everything is walkable, restaurants, pharmacy, coffee shops. Also, the pickup point to the Balagezong is just walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay here. Thank you so much

Great position right in the pedestrian precinct of the "ancient city". Tashi was very helpful about where to catch buses to get around the city, to the monastery and a taxi back to the train station. The ginger tea was very welcome and breakfast was very good.

Bodhi boutique inn was in a very convenient location close to transport and inside the ancient city. Although staff did not speak English they were very friendly and happy to use translate with us. Breakfast was good.

Das Zimmer war gut ausgestattet und sehr gemütlich. Die Besitzerin und alle Mitarbeiterinnen waren sehr freundlich, so dass ich mich wie zu Hause gefühlt habe. Sie haben mit bei allen Fragen, die ich hatte, weitergeholfen. Die Lage ist auch super.

La ubicación es excelente

두커종고성 가까운 위치이고 택시 버스 이용이 용이하였다 그리고 주변 맛집도 꽤 많았었고 무엇보다도 주인장의 인상이 너무 좋았다 매번 친절하게 설명해주시고 방이 좀 좁아서 바꿔달라고했는데 너무나 크고 쾌적한곳으로 업그레이드해주셨다 깨끗하고 고성내 올드한 분위기도 유지하면서 현대적으로 잘 꾸며놓으셨다 샹그릴라는 이 숙소 때문에 또한번 방문하고 싶은 곳이다

Posizione ottima, già nella città vecchia ma vicina alla strada per arrivarci con Taxi o DiDi. Struttura molto bella, moderna con camere pulite ed accoglienti. Personale disponibile anche se un po' in difficoltà con la lingua.

Colazione buona ma non eccellente. Finestra della camera (molto grande) che però dava sul corridoio dove passavano tutti gli altri ospiti.

Heel hulpvaardig Engels sprekend personeel. Op een van onze kamers was zuurstof extra aanwezig gedurende de nacht wat heel fijn was gezien de hoogte.

Overall, a mixed experience – some pleasant aspects but significant drawbacks The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the staff were generally helpful when needed. Upon arrival, they arranged a pickup from the train station, which was greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, there were several issues that affected our stay. The hotel runs its own small shop, and the doorbell rings every time someone enters – the sound carried all the way to our room and continued late into the night. If you're planning to rest during the day, be aware that the atrium is often filled with loud children playing, which makes it difficult to relax. There was a motion sensor light installed next to the bed that turned on every time we moved in our sleep, and there was no way to disable it. We had to cover it manually in order to get any rest. Additionally, there was no hot water available early in the morning, which was frustrating.

The location. It is in the city centre. There is a halal place near it as well.

There is no lift. It was fine when we arrived as the staff were there to help. But as we left early there was no staff.

The room was large with underfloor heating. Its cold in Shangri La at that time of year. Room serviced each day. Provided a working air humidifier and oxygen supply. Location was in old city and easy to reach by taxi. Breakfast was provided. Owner was very helpful when had any questions about the hotel or locality of any sights. Pickup from train station was included in booking. Owner kept in touch by WeChat very useful before arriving.

The hotel only had a wood burning stove in the breakfast area so was very cold while eating breakfast. We were fully clothed with jackets and hats to keep warm. Staff did try to heat the room with the wood fired stove.

The location is perfect, inside the old town. The owner is really nice. The breakfast is good, a little too light. The room is quite comfortable. You can rent a scooter for 50 RMB.

The heater didn't work very well and the shower was too difficult to manage, too hot or too cold...

The host made us feel very welcome. She is very kind and lovely. The location is great, so was the room. The Tibetan breakfast was delicious.

The location is great.Near the old town and the Main Street. A lot of restaurant nearby. I recommend the Korean restaurant that opposite the hotel. They are good taste. Staff are very helpful.They help us bring to luggage to the 2 floor and there is free luggage storage while we are travel to Yading. There is heater and electrical mattress that is very helpful in the -1 Celsius cold

The warm water in bathroom is not stable and difficult to control and the water drain is not well.

They have a Tibetan dressing with hair and face make up in just 50RMB. Worth to try

Very authentic place with extremely friendly staff. Fantastic breakfasts in all styles including Western (great coffee too!). They even helped me with a make-up in the morning :) Recommend this place to everybody! Great value for money!

This hotel is in the old city of Shangri-La and its location is great. Exploring the old town and its roads and shops is very easy from this hotel. Also, the hotel is less than 5-minute walk from the bus stop to the Ganden Sumtseling Monastery. The room was clean and basic for a few nights, but given the price one shouldn't expect more.

The room was a bit humid. Also, the sink was leaking water and the showerhead was spraying water all over the place.

The host was helpful in showing us a nearby super market and launderette. The location of this hotel is very central.

It was run down and our room shower drain was blocked. There were broken glass panels in our room that had been repaired with tape. The breakfast was not so generous and the reception smelt of cigarettes. The photos on Booking are old and it looks different now.

The place is well located in the Old Town, which made it easy to explore, and reach the bus terminal to continue my trip.

The biggest disappointment is the room prices. The prices on the platform are not updated, they made me pay double the price on each of my stay. I tried negotiating and also contacted Booking for help but nothing could be done. Because I had chosen this place for their cheaper options, this came as a bad surprise. Before booking this place, I'd recommend to either contact the management to check their current prices, or maybe book through another platform.

Very nice young couple running this place, the location is good. Not many guests so we got upgraded to a bigger room but it was not cleaned.

The room was not cleaned nor prepared, a lot of dust, carpet covered with hair, towels covered with black hair, bedside tables dusty. It’s such a pitty owners don’t care much about the hotel they are running as they are a cool young couple and hospitable. We know it’s difficult time for tourism but the less guests you have the more effort you should put to keep them. We felt like it’s not fair and no respect to us who choose to stay here.
