Todo, las instalaciones son muy bonitas y el personal súper amable, nos encantó la atención de Anita, Vero y Alex.

La amabilidad del personal, la recepción de Alejandro, la habitación, el respeto por el descanso y por el silencio en las áreas públicas. El desayuno preparado por Ana y Francisco. La relajación en la piscina ¡Todo!

Sólo se agradecería una luz de lectura en los dos costados de la cama y una silla para la terraza.

La nevera de nuestra habitación hacía mucho ruido, hubo que desenchufarla, supongo que estaría averiada y que la habrán sustituido

Loved ALEJANDRO front desk personal. He went above and beyond in guiding us. Offering commodities. Etc. Etc. also Room was cleaned daily. AC was cold and always functional. I want to add breakfast was Excellent and Vetonica was great. Her cooking was exceptional. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. If your looking for a quiet. Private hotel THIS IS IT. Additional cimment.. location was great walking distance to beach and restaurants. Can't wait to come back

Very clean and new. Ground floor opened on to entrance. Great restaurant on site. Full breakfast cooked personally for each guest. Alejandro was so polite and helpful.

Our four-night stay was exceptional in every way. The staff was kind, gracious, and conscientious. Our room was lovely. It was tastefully decorated, clean, and quiet. It opened out to the gorgeous pool area. Daily housekeeping added to the comfortable stay. A wonderful breakfast was prepared poolside daily. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

La ubicación, es muy céntrico, cerca de varios restaurantes y bares buenos, hay algunos lugares bonitos para visitar sin necesidad de ir en automóvil, la playa está cerca también

Me gustó mucho el hotel, las habitación siempre se mantenía limpia. Al igual siempre fueron demasiado amable, fue mi primera vez en Loreto así que si fue agradable este hotel, me volvería a quedar aquí claro que si. El desayuno también deli, aparte son súper amables, todos los que trabajan allí si lo recomiendo. Te genera ese lugar para ir y perderte, relajarte un poco

Lo que no me gustó fue que nuestro refrigerador no servía no enfriaba mucho 😭

The hotel staff was lovely, as were the rooms and grounds. We especially enjoyed talking with the charming woman who prepared our breakfast. ♥️ The hotel entrance is tucked in beside a restaurant, and is a little hard to find, but is well worth the search.

A very loud group congregated around the pool around 9pm. Thankfully they went to their rooms eventually. We have stayed at the hotel before and it is typically very quiet.

The neighbors played super loud music and was super disruptive. Couldn’t sleep and they had to move us to a different location

We stayed here multiple times so this is a second reveal. It was just wonderful perfect location super staff. The rooms were very nice. Beds were terrific. It was just lovely.

The property was central in the old town right next to a wonderful bar with pleasing live music Not loud and overwhelming Alejandro at the desk was very kind And accommodating. We made a mistake on one of our bookings and he straightened it out without any problems. Breakfast was wonderful! There’s a small pool in the center that was just right for cooling off and lazing about. Everything was very tasteful and refined.

The maids were also the breakfast staff and they were wonderful.

Pool was freezing and we offered to skim it. Limited lounges. The room they gave us the first night was fine. Inside a locked off court yard, very secure. Then they moved us to the only room not in the courtyard. No security between the room door and the hectic noisy town square and adjoining brewery. Did not get much sleep. When we first got into the room the toilet seat was barely on and held by only one bolt. The man at reception came in and changed it out. Then in the morning the water in the shower was cold. We wondered if it was just because the faucet was mismarked, but all I could get from the faucet was cold. Later the reception came in to check and said if we had let the faucet marked as cold run long enough it would have gotten hot!!!! Safe was broken. Do not even consider their “standard” room.

Breakfast was good and the lactation was great. Room was very clean.

It would be nice to have a comfortable chair in the room.

Beautiful outdoor area by pool, great location and wonderful staff! Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Alejandro and the entire staff went out of their way to take care of us. We arrived early and they watched our things and ensured we had a taxi to get back to the airport.

The location was great, and the property was beautiful. The restaurant had very cold beer and a nice menu. The complementary breakfast was very good.

The bed was extremely hard, and there was a limited supply of hot water. The Wi-Fi was down twice over a two-day period.

Second stay and we love the location and the great breakfast. The cooks are always pleasant.

Parking recommendations would be great when you dont know the area. We like to walk everywhere when staying.

Was in a Swim Treak group. There were 15 of us in all. Hotel 1697 was very very nice. Located right in the middle of it all, easy walking distance to everything. BIG shout out to the staff Maria, Verito,Ana and Vicky. Thanks you so much ladies for taking care of us so well. The breakfast was out of this world. HIGH recommend

Veronica was amazing .She did it all .The breakfast she cooked was superb the towel art she did in the rooms was inspired .Veronica and other staff who worked with her were truly great and made our stay enjoyable

The pool through much of our stay was dirty .(12 nights)Leaves in the pool and green slime .Not sure if there was a problem but the pool is a focal point and should be pristine .Also be aware the price you agreed to at booking is just a suggestion .We were charged almost $200 extra supposedly due to exchange rate .Does that mean the rate will go down with a favourable exchange rate ...?Probably not..It leaves a bad taste in your mouth when you check in .

Wow! Vraiment une magnifique endroit pour ce reposer et profiter de la proximité de tout à Loreto.

The hotel is located right in downtown Loreto. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the beach. Breakfast was good and the rooms were nice. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going for the first time to visit.

Hotel 1697 is beautiful. We had a king room overlooking the pool with french doors opening to a lovely balcony. The breakfast is included and it's excellent. We enjoyed eggs cooked to order, fresh fruit, beans, warm tortillas, and tasty coffee. Delightful swimming pool. Adjacent to brewery and restaurant. Right on the town square. So you are right there to enjoy magical Loreto.

Hotel 1697 is truly a hidden gem located right off the main plaza. This was our 4th time staying here after trying a few others in the area. The rooms are always very clean and the beds are comfortable. The staff are helpful , the breakfast is delicious, served poolside. What a great way to start your day!

Very pretty, small, clean, well-appointed, nice air conditioning, friendly staff. We came off season so it was very quiet.

My one complaint.....no hot water. Turned on the shower let run for ever and the water was tepid.Tried at different times of the day, but still no hot water. Turned to the left...let it run no hot water...Turned to the right let it run no hot water.

Modern, clean, centrally located just off the town square. and very short walk to the seafront. Close to restaurants and bars but not noisy. Nice small pool. Good breakfast prepared by friendly staff. Comfortable bed, spacious room.

Whilst the ladies cooking breakfast were friendly the grumpy attitude of reception on arrival was disappointing & reception was closed on departure which caused some confusion as the only staff available did not speak english and our spanish was not up to the job. Ultimately we should speak better spanish but this would not have been a problem if reception was manned at 11am. No hot water in the shower. No parking but you can park on the streets nearby.

Clean and comfortable. Amazing location!! The pool is a mini oasis and nice for a few hours of R&R out of the sun. The breakfast was fresh and made to order by two very caring women. Full marks on polishing this small hotel into a real gem!

Our 107 American dollar room ( listed on their web site) turned into 137 dollars then 200 Canadian on MC . The room was beside the resturant , Asked about the reason why and was told price fluctuates daily, beware when booking. Nice breakfast , It was a one bedroom.

Beware. We reserved a room for one night on booking.com and the hotel took all of the money from our credit card for the room one week before our booking. This was against the Terms & Conditions with booking.com. We should have paid the night we stayed there. As we were travelling, I could not sort it out. Our plans changed and I cancelled the room within the Cancellation Terms. Long story short, booking.com have been very good at trying to get our money back from the hotel with no luck/response from them. Eventually, booking.com paid our money back. So, if you book this hotel, make sure you have some fall back with who you book through. Do not book direct. I see several reviews for overcharging too. Such a shame as it was the only problem we had in 3 weeks of travelling in Mexico.

The desk clerk was only available a few hours per day and usually didn’t answer the phone. Otherwise, staff was great.

My first time at this charming small hotel but not the last for sure. The central location is great. The included breakfast is really good. I also enjoyed the kindness of the staff and the cleanliness of this hotel.

This hotel is so lovely and personable! It is tucked away in a corner just off the main square near the Mission church. We felt warmly welcomed by Santiago at the front desk as he showed us everything in great detail. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. He brought us extra pillows and blankets as requested. The breakfast, eaten poolside, was hands down, the best dish of eggs and chorizo I had throughout Mexico. Highly recommended!

The hotel was on the square with many restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Excellent Wi-Fi. Hot water was hot but not plentiful. Room was fully equipped. Breakfast included eggs cooked to order and delicious.

We requested a ground floor room but stuck with Upstairs room. The desk clerk was not available most of the time.

Greeted by the manager. Personally escorted us to our room. Room was clean, nicely appointed and comfortable. Great location. Would stay again

Bathroom was small, especially the sink.

We spent $250 USD for a room that the bathroom door didn't close, the shower came out with no pressure, it would be scalding hot then get freezing cold instantly. There was no shelf to put any of your belongings on. The people above us sounded like they were moving furniture all night. When we tried to check in we were told the office was open at 12, we came back at 12 they told us 1 pm, the person that checked us in didn't understand english or speak any english, so could answer no questions. It is a cute concept but needs a lot of work or lower the price.

The rooms above had a macerator toilet which was very noisy when the occupants used it during the night, disturbing our sleep

The grounds were beautiful. Our room was large and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. It was in a great location. It was very close to restaurants shopping and the beach.

Front gate had a bottom bar that was a little challenging to manage with suitcases.
